Dorothy Beader Mamuscia, 80, of Newark died Saturday. Born in Hamburg, she had lived in Newark, then Auburn for 27 years before returning to Newark in 2000. She was an operator for New York Telephone Co., and worked in the cafeteria at Newark High School and in the housekeeping department of Auburn Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Michael's Church in Newark. Her first husband, Paul Beader, died in 1972. Survivors: Her husband, Samuel; two daughters, Linda Capwell of Newark and Cynthia Watson of Grand Island; a sister, Gertrude Mohr of Cheney, Kan.; a brother, Jack Shawcross of Camillus; four granddaughters; a great-grandson. Anne Weiner Melnicoff, 89, of Jewish Home of Central New York, Syracuse, died Monday. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Central High School in 1929. She retired in 1979 as a receptionist for Dr. Louis Fisher after 23 years. She was a member of B'nai B'rith Women's Organization and its women's bowling league. Her husband, Morris, died in 1956. She retired in 1998 as office manager and a bookkeeper for the estate of Clara Rosenbloom after 50 years.
