Rod Hanson
Services for Rod Hanson, 73, who died March 14, 2007, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, will be held at 10 a.m. March 31 at Elks Lodge No. 2796 (East Basin Avenue).
He was born June 11, 1933, in Miller, S.D., to Hans and Maybel Hanson. Bill and Gracie Arbogast and Hans Hanson Sr., are his grandparents. He was a 10-year resident of Pahrump.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He later retired from the K & L Ranch in Mitchell, S.D., and worked at Super Wash in Pahrump.
His wife Dolly Hanson of Pahrump; and children Tom Hanson and Lynn Heiter of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Kim Homan of Fargo, N.D., and Shawn Roche of Las Vegas survive him.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice on Buffalo and Cheyenne in Las Vegas.

Helen Dilauro
A private family service will be held for Helen Dilauro, 89, who died March 16, 2007 in Las Vegas.
She was born Dec. 6, 1917, in Wisconsin. She was a 27-year resident of Pahrump, coming from New York.
She worked as a waitress and was employed by Saks. She retired in 1980.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Catholic faith.
Her sons John (Lynn) Dilauro of Pahrump and Peter (Barbara) Dilauro of Hazelton, Pa.; daughter Dr. Patricia (Anthony) Tafurd of Woodbury, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild survive her.

Robert Gutekunst
Robert W. Gutekunst Sr., 67, died March 13, 2007, in Pahrump.
He was born June 4, 1939, in Michigan. He was a 25-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Michigan.
He worked as a mechanic.
His significant other Collette White; son Robert Gutekunst Jr.; daughters Joanna Lowry and Kelly Gutekunst; sister Gloria Traskos; brother William Gutekunst Jr.; brother-in-law Carl Pearson; grandchilden April Birdwell and Sandy Smith; and nine great-grandchildren survive him.

Gertrude Isle
Services for Gertrude G. Isle, 91, who died March 7, 2007, in Pahrump, were held in Tacoma, Wash.
She was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Brainer, Minn. She was a 12-year Nevada resident, coming from Tacoma.
Her sons Kenneth Isle of Pasco, Wash., and Joseph Isle, of Tacoma; daughter Carol Mead of Pahrump; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren survive her.
Her husband Alvin Isle and son Floyd Isle preceded her in death.

Lionel Cripe
Lionel "Larry" E. Cripe died March 15, 2007, at his home in Pahrump, where he lived for the past two and a half years. He was also a long-time resident of Las Vegas.
He was born in Tulsa, Okla. He came to Las Vegas after serving in the U.S. Navy and then became a builder and driver of race cars. Later, he became an electrician and started his own business, NV Illumination, which he later gave to his son Larry.
He was a 55-year member of the IBEW Electrical Union.
He is survived by his wife Romaine of Pahrump; stepson Terry (Kathleen) Gump of Pahrump; stepdaughter Connie (Kyle) Buhecker of Las Vegas; daughter Kathleen (Ronald) Cripe Harris of Dayton; Larry (Todd) Cripe of Boulder City; Robert Cripe of Las Vegas; Sandye (Richard) Cripe Benbow; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at LDS Chapel in Pahrump at a later date.

A memorial service for John Rocco DeCristo, 91, who died March 13, 2007, in Las Vegas, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lee Funeral Home, 720 S. Buol Lane.
He was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Rome, N.Y. He was an eight-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Missouri Valley, Iowa.
He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed crafts.
His daughters Carolyn (Richard) Brock and Cynthia Hurst; son John Stanley DeCristo; sisters Della (Frank) Jillston and Genevieve DeMattis; grandson Richard Brock Jr.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and friends Sondra Jones, Alan Howard, Cathy Hatfield and Sharon Weiland survive him. Neil Murray
Services for Neil Murray, 72, who died March 10, 2007, in Las Vegas, will held at 1 p.m. (viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Tuesday at Pahrump Family Mortuary.
He was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Long Beach, Calif. He was a nine-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Las Vegas.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a social actions instructor and then a substance abuse counselor at Southern Nevada Treatment Center.
He was member of Church on a Mission.
His wife Donna Murray of Pahrump; son Shawn Murray of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughters Deirdre McDaniel of Pasadena, Calif., Jen Dempsey of Butler, Pa., and Sarra Murray of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren survive him.

Richard Bugert Sr.
Services were held for Richard L. Bugert Sr., who died March 12, 2007, at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.
He was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Fort Wayne, Ind. He was a 15-year resident of Pahrump.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was later a letter carrier and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
His wife Juanita M. Bugert of Pahrump; daughters Shelly K. Pace of Pahrump and Natalie M. Sucher of Simi Valley, Calif.; sons Richard L. Bugert Jr., of Las Vegas and Adam S. Bugert of Pahrump; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild survive him.

She was an executive director for the Death Valley Chamber of Commerce.
