She was born June 2, 1933 and was a Pahrump resident for 25 years coming from Shahalas, Wash.
Her husband Dan of Pahrump; daughter Debra Miller of Portland, Ore.; sister Sharon Lott of Centralia, Wash.; brother Thomas Kilpatrick of Washington; and niece Laurie Wolden of Centralia, Wash., survive her.

Bernhard Feigl
Bernhard (Bernie) Feigl, 66, of Pahrump, passed away May 17 while vacationing in Allentown, Pa. Services were held May 17 at Cedar Heights cemetery, South Whitehall Township, Pa.
He was a retired pipe fitter and welder.
He is survived by longtime, loving friend Elaine Thompson; daughter Sonja of Australia; sisters Sybille and Doris of Austria; and brothers Hubert, Wolfgang and Arnold also of Austria. (5/17/05)
Robert Taber Sr.
A celebration of life for Robert B. Taber Sr., 63, who passed away May 31 at his home in Pahrump, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Taber residence, 80 E. Wilson Road.
He was born July 3, 1941 in Ventura, Calif., to Robert W. and Willa M. Bishop Taber.
He was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator throughout his life. He was "rough around the edges" but always helped those who needed it in the long run. His loves in life were fishing, hunting and car races.
His wife Leta I. Ginter-Taber of Pahrump; sisters Carole Roth of Pahrump, Sheila (Bob) Winters and Debra (Kevin) Kaiser, both of Washington, and Pam (Ron) Sheets of California; brother David (Chong) Taber of Washington; daughters Lorie I. (Bobby) Thomas of Missouri and Lisa (Ray) Herndon of Pahrump; son Bobby (Trish) Taber of Pahrump; special childhood friend Bill Pedro of Pahrump; and 10 grandchildren, Amie, Robby, Robert, Aaron, Benjamin, William, Colleen, Ariel, Leta and Lloyd, survive him.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Reiner and Nathan Adelson Hospice for the loving care they gave to him and the family. They "appreciate everything you have done."
Evelyn Cooper
Evelyn Cooper, 85, passed away June 19 in Las Vegas. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Portland, Ore.
She was July 18, 1919 in Oklahoma, and lived in North Bend, Ore., before moving to Pahrump.
Her husband of 45 years, Fred Cooper, of Pahrump; daughter Lenora Rollinson of Costa Rica; son Steve Codekas of Oregon; sisters Ollie Smith of Washington and Nathalia of Colorado; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren survive her.
One son, Nick, of Oregon, preceded her in death.

Thomas Grogan
Visitation for Thomas Francis Grogan, 71, who passed away June 21 in Pahrump, will be held from 7-9 p.m. today at Neptune Society of Nye County. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
He was born March 26, 1934 in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Pahrump eight years ago from Henderson.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was assigned to the USS Cormorant from 1953 to 1957. He then worked as an electronics engineer until retiring in 1995. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
His wife Miyako Grogan of Pahrump; brothers William Grogan of Davenport, Iowa, and Michael Grogan of Jacksonville, Fla., sister Rita O'Toole of Chicago; cousin John Grogan of Newbury Park, Calif.; and sister-in-law Marilyn Grogan of Chicago survive him.
His parents, William and Margaret, and one brother, John Grogan, preceded him in death.

Charlotte Hill
Services for Charlotte Irene Hill, who passed away Aug. 27, 2004, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grandview cemetery.
She was born Oct. 14, 1928 in Washington State and was a Pahrump resident for 19 years, coming from Henderson.
Her husband Raymond Hill of Pahrump; daughters Adrian Marler of Las Vegas, Terri Flack of Colorado Springs, Colo., Susan Chamberlain of Pahrump, and Kelly Ronniger of Reistertown, Md.; sons Daniel Blankenship of Henderson and Lane Blankenship of McGill; brothers Marian Root of Fife, Wash., and Donald Root of Lake Isabella, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren, survive her.

Grant Sexton
Visitation for Grant Harrison Sexton, 83, who passed away June 15 in Pahrump, will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Pahrump Family Mortuary. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, 741 E. Fehrs Way (Highway 160 near Simkins).
He was born March 30, 1922 in Oklahoma and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years, coming from Las Vegas.
He worked as a millwright in the construction industry and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, the Christian Bikers Association and Pahrump Gospel Lovers.
His wife Fay Sexton of Pahrump; 18 children, Martha Sue, Tom, Gary, Ramona Dawn, Sharon Lee, Rebecca Sue, Timothy Earl, Johnathan Paul, Lauraly, Daniel and Jeramiah, all of California, Steve and Pat of Texas, and Barbara and Judy of Oregon; and numerous grandchildren survive him.
His parents and three sons, Philip, Robert Owen and Grant Jr., preceded him in death.

Wyatt West
A memorial service for Wyatt Lynn West, 36, who passed away June 17, in Pahrump, will be held in Washington State.
He was born Oct. 29, 1968 in Kirkland, Wash., and moved to Pahrump six months ago.
He worked in construction.
His father Frank J. West Sr., and stepmother Barbara West of Nevada; brothers Frank West Jr. and Dusty West, both of Washington; and sisters Annette West, Lois Simmons, Judy Curry and Maryann Morey, all of Washington, survive him.
His mother and one sister preceded him in death.

Benjamin Fosco
Services are pending for Benjamin P. Fosco Sr., 84, who passed away June 29 in Las Vegas.
He was born June 28, 1921 in Chicago and moved from there to Pahrump 20 years ago.
He served three years in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver for the Chicago Tribune newspaper until retiring.
His wife Rita Fosco of Pahrump; daughters Dorothy (Frank) Romero of Chicago, and Jeanne (Fred) Jendra and LoriAnn (Michael) Dentamoro, both of Illinois; sons Richard (Paula) Fosco and Benjamin P. Fosco, Jr., both of Illinois, and Michael Fosco of Pahrump; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren survive him.
His parents preceded him in death.

Robert Medeiros
Robert F. Medeiros, 73, passed away July 4 in Las Vegas. Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial in Kaneoke, Hawaii, on Wednesday.
He was born Sept. 3, 1931 in Honolulu and was a 22-year resident of Pahrump.
He worked in refrigeration and retired from Bob's Maintenance Service.
His wife Shirley Medeiros of Pahrump; children Robyn Shope, Edward Medeiros, Mark Medeiros, David Medeiros, Diane Medeiros and Michael Medeiros; two sisters in Hawaii and one sister in Burbank, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren survive him.

Richard Thompson
Services for Richard H. Thompson, 80, who passed away June 26 in Pahrump, will be held at 4 p.m. today at Pahrump Community Church, 1061 E. Wilson Road.
He was born Dec. 12, 1924 in Muscatine, Iowa, and was a 15-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Livermore, Calif.
He worked as a mechanical engineer for the U.S. government and was a member of the Elks Lodge and VFW Post No. 10054. He was also a bus driver for the Pahrump Senior Center.
His wife Audrey Mae Thompson of Pahrump; sons Randle Thompson of Florida, Terry Neil Thompson of Iowa and Richard Thompson Jr. of Colorado; daughters Sherrie Ford of Iowa, Nikki Barnts of Pennsylvania, Denise Learmouth of California; Deborah Wright of California and Diane Randle of Texas; stepchildren Kathleen Delgado of California, John Hager of Arizona, Deborah Beckman of South Carolina and David Hager of California; sister Phyllis Thompson of Iowa; niece Rita Wldarsczik of Arizona; 27 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive him.

Shirlee Gill-Wright
Shirlee Ann (Barnett) Gill-Wright, 70, passed away July 13 at her home in Victorville, Calif., after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 22, 1934 in Oakland, Calif., and was a member of the first graduating class of Helix High School in La Mesa, Calif., in 1952.
She was a longtime resident of Ramona, Calif., where she was a member of the Catholic Church, VFW Women's Auxiliary and a supportive Little League mom.
She moved to Pahrump in 1990, where she rediscovered her love of painting.
After the passing of her husband Phil Wright, she relocated to Victorville in 2001, where she was a member of the High Desert Center for Arts. Shirlee was an award-winning artist with several successful gallery showings.
She was affectionately known as "Gram" to her grandchildren and great grandchild, all of whom she loved spending time with.
She was also a very passionate San Diego Chargers and Padres fan.
Her children, Cathryn (Matthew) Huffine of Victorville, De Ellen (Jim) Bowman of Atlanta, Thea (Jim) Crosby of Santee, Calif., Claudia (Preston) Roundtree of Chelsea, Okla., John (Rhonda) Shableski of Linden, Penn., and Paul Shableski of Victorville; granddaughter Jessica Bowman of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; sister Patricia (George) Padilla of Rosarito, Mexico; nephews Mark and Randy Padilla and niece Debbie Calton of the San Diego area; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild survive her.
Her mother, Dorothy Haizlip, father, George Barnett, and her three husbands, George Shableski, Louis Gill and Philip Wright, preceded her in death.
The viewing will be held at Victor Valley Memorial Park in Victorville from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, with a Rosary service at 6 p.m. A memorial service will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday at the High Desert Church in Victorville.
