LEONOR ROMERO, 75, of Santa Fe died at home Thursday after a long illness.
She was employed as a sales associate for Woolworth for 33 years. She was a loving mother figure.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Agueda Romero; father, Flavio Romero; and sisters, Ersinia Baca and Helen Montano.
She is survived by her brothers, Tony Romero, Jose C. Romero, Gilbert Romero and wife Rita, Moises Romero and wife Ann, Robert Romero and wife Mela, all of Santa Fe, and Lou Romero and wife Alice of Pecos; sister, Della Torres of Farmington; and many other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the Santa Fe Dialysis Center, 641 Harkle Road, Santa Fe, N.M., 87505.
A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at San Isidro Catholic Church (old).
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the same church with burial to follow at Agua Fria Cemetery.

CLIVE C. WHITTAKER III, 68, of White Rock died Tuesday.
He was born in Kansas. He was a computer programmer for IBM.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Whittaker of the family home; daughter, Carol Westphal; sons, Charles Whittaker and Bill Whittaker; brothers, Robert Whittaker, James Whittaker and Mike Whittaker; and six grandchildren.

ARABELLA M. GONZALES, 75, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Tuesday after an extended illness. She was born in Montezuma. She was a homemaker who raised six children and loved to cook, bake and read. She was a member of the Foster Grandparents. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Romero and Tomasita Martinez Romero; and sisters, Anne Sisneros and Teresita de Jesus Romero. ISAAC I. GONZALES of Taos died Monday. He was president of the First State Bank of Taos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Carmen Gonzales; and grandparents who raised him, Castulita and Salamon Cisneros. JACK CRUZ HOPKINS SR. of Santa Fe died Tuesday after a short illness. He was born in 1924 in Castle Gate, Utah. At a young age he moved to Taos Pueblo with his mother, American Indian artist Pop Chalee (Merina Lujan) and father Otis Hopkins. Later, they moved to Santa Fe, where he enrolled at the Santa Fe Indian School and graduated from Santa Fe High School. He attended George Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn. He was an avid aviator and received his commercial pilot's license at the age of 17, joining the Army Air Corps in 1943. He qualified as a pilot for both fighter aircraft and multiengine B24 and B29 bombers. His last station in the Army Air Corps was in Colorado Springs as a member of what is now known as the Strategic Air Command. He was employed as a senior manager for the Zia Company for the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where previously his father was a machinist with the Manhattan Project. He was an accomplished jewelry artist, having won acclaim and awards from the Hurd Museum, the Gallup Indian Ceremonial. He showed his work locally at Packard's on the Plaza and nationally through commissions for Neiman Marcus. He is survived by his wife, Gerry Taylor Hopkins; sons, Jack Cruz Jr. and Antonio; two grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. JOSE T. MADRID, 69, of Tecolotito died Sunday at Northeastern Regional Hospital. He was born in Tecolotito. He married Maria Antonia Urioste in 1954 in Las Vegas, N.M. He was a rancher who loved gardening, landscaping, playing music and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Donato and Maria Mercedes Madrid; and sister, Deluvina Encinias. CARMEL "MEL" ROMERO, 94, of Nambé died Tuesday. He was the owner and operator of the Adobe Club in Pojoaque for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Romero. DOROTHEA (DERLIE) CORAZZI, 83, of Santa Fe died Sunday after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She came to Santa Fe in 1948 from south Texas and was married in 1949. She was reared on a cattle ranch in Texas and was an avid horsewoman. She was a licensed pilot, seamstress, cook, and enjoyed exploring the arts. She felt her primary purpose in life was to love and serve her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edna Schwarz; and brothers, William and Leonard Schwarz of Mercedes, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Corazzi of Santa Fe; son, Sylvan Corazzi; daughter, Gale Humes and husband Harold; and grandson, Aaron, all of San Francisco; sisters, Mariam Yarbrough of Brownsville, Texas, Irene Hoverson of Houston, and Marjorie Haddad of Fort Worth; brother, Marvin Schwarz of Mercedes, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
