LARRY L. LOPEZ, 53, of Cordova died Friday after a long illness.
He was a very good carver. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Benita Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lopez; daughter, Julie Lopez; sons, Larry Jr., Davy, and Brandon Lopez, all of the family home, and Christopher Trujillo of Cordova; six grandchildren; brothers, Victoriano Reynolds and wife Nary of Española and Eurgencio Lopez and wife Orlinda of Cordova; sisters; Sabinita Ortiz and husband Cristobal of Cordova; Nora Serrano and husband Delfido of Española; and Otilia Sandoval and husband John of Rio Chiquito; and many other relatives and friends. CESARITA C. NARANJO, 95, of Santa Clara Pueblo died Sunday after a short illness. She loved to travel and was very active with the senior citizens in the area. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Naranjo; and brother, John Concha.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Naranjo and fiancé Lee Lujan; three grandchildren, all of Santa Clara Pueblo and Taos Pueblo; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at the Santa Clara Catholic Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

MARY GARCIA NARANJO, 97, of Guachupangue died Monday at the Española Valley Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Carmelitas of Santa Cruz, the Sacred Heart Society of Española and the Holy Family of Guachupangue. She loved to pray and cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon J. Naranjo; and grandsons whom she raised as her own, Reynaldo and Mark Naranjo. She is survived by her sons, Ramon Naranjo and wife Stella, Richard Naranjo and wife Lucille and Orlando Naranjo and wife Gay; daughters, Margie Montoya and husband Tony, Viola Suazo and husband Joseph; special niece, Levila Archuleta; 21 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A public visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. today with a rosary to follow at 4 p.m. by the Carmelitas and again at 6:30 p.m. by the Sacred Heart Society in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

TONY R. PEREA, 57, of Santa Fe died Friday after a brief illness.
He was a graduate of Santa Fe High School and was employed as a carpenter for the majority of his life. He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1968.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Perea Sr.; and brother, Ramon Perea Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Rachel Perea; sisters, Maryann Ortega and husband Eloy, Patsy Sanchez and husband Jose, and Judy Narvaiz and husband Danny; brothers, Joseph Perea, James Perea, John Perea, Peter C. Perea and wife Joann, Paul Perea and wife Linda, Pat Perea and wife Teresa, Ralph Perea and wife Ramona; nephews that he helped raise, Manuel Perea and Louie Perea; and many other relatives and friends.

CLARENCE E. (BILL) ROUCH,, 89, of Santa Fe died Friday.
He was born in Eldon, Iowa. He was employed with Greyhound Bus Co. for over 12 years, worked for La Posada Resort, La Fonda and as a deputy director for the New Mexico state parks commission, where he retired in 1979. He received numerous accommodations from various governors while he was employed for the state of New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward A. Rouch and Bessie Louise Moss Rouch; and sister, Louise Mahon.
He is survived by his wife, Gloris (Glory) Rouch; son, William E. Rouch; two granddaughters; step-daughter, Charlene Hoeferle; six step-grandchildren; and many other relatives.

JOHN JULIAN (BUCK) SCHOFIELD, 89, of White Rock died Friday after a long illness.
He was born in Manassa, Colo. He grew up on the family ranch at Spring Creek and lived all his life in Northern New Mexico. He was a veteran of World War II, served in the South Pacific as an enlisted man and later as an officer in the 38th Infantry Division. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He worked for the Zia Co. in Los Alamos from 1946 until his retirement in 1976.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida M. Schofield; parents, John R. and Helen P. Schofield; brothers, Raymond and Leslie Schofield; and sisters, Winifred Schofield, Gail Davis, Margaret Huffaker and Thelma Roberts.
He is survived by his children, Phyllis Pippin and husband Douglas and Angel Clark, all of White Rock, Dennis Schofield and wife Linda of Pueblo, Colo., John H. Schofield and Tracy Schofield and wife Wilma, all of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.

MARY TERESA STETSON, 76, of Bloomsburg, Pa., died Saturday after a short battle with cancer.
She was born in Tuam, Ireland. She was employed as a registered nurse in Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, where she later retired from Danville State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony, Arthur and Sean; and son, John Edward Stetson.
She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Stetson Einbender of Santa Fe, George Arthur Stetson, Katherine Ann Stetson and Alice Stetson O' Bryan; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dympna and Collette of Seattle and Phil of Ireland; brothers, Cornie of London, and Leo, Dermot and Finton of Ireland.
