RUBY L. ROMERO, 84, of Santa Fe died Friday after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Rociada. She was employed as a school bus driver and caregiver, and she was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Romero; and brothers, Johnny Lucero and Bernardino Lucero.
She is survived by her brother, Joe A. Lucero; sons, Raymond Romero and Matthew Jaramillo; daughter, Noel; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, N.M. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe.

LINO J. SOLANO, 72, of Santa Fe died Monday after a long illness.
He worked as a life insurance agent. He was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon and Guadalupita Solano; brothers, Rufino, Henry and Delfino Solano; and sister, Betty Vigil.

EVELYN MARIE WHEELESS of Santa Fe died Wednesday.
She was born in Hot Springs and was a graduate of Loretto Academy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Baldwin Burt; mother, Gladys Hagen; and brother Hugh Burt.

STANLEY GEORGE ANDERSON, 83, of Taos died Monday.
He retired as a manager with the U.S. Postal Service in Weschester, Ill., and had been a door greeter at Wal-Mart since 1983. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucy Tschersich and Marion Kulikowski.
