Mary C. Wooldridge
Visitation for Mary C. Wooldridge, 72, of Ruidoso, will be from 5-6 p.m. today at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Wooldridge died Sunday, June 4, 2000, in Roswell.
She was born March 11, 1928, in Santa Fe.
She moved to Ruidoso 32 years ago from Roswell.
A homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church, she married W. Olan Wooldridge on Jan. 1, 1967, in Roswell.
Survivors include her husband, Olan, of Ruidoso; a son, Blaine Hess of Roswell; daughters Thane Baczek of Holladay, Utah, and Stacey Miller of Alto; a stepson, Roger Wooldridge of Georgia; stepdaughters Jan Genduso of California, Judy Harmon of Las Cruces and Mary Wallander of Texas; a brother, Tom Closson Jr. of Santa Fe; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross or a favorite charity.

Harvey Adams
A memorial service for Harvey Adams, 65, of Ruidoso will be today at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Ruidoso Downs with the Rev. Randy Widener officiating.
Mr. Adams died Feb. 10, 2001 at his home. He was born Oct. 14, 1935 in Ada, Okla. A retired heavy equipment operator, Mr. Adams had lived in Ruidoso for two years.
He married JoAnne Crane on July 1, 1989 at Las Vegas, Nev.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne of Ruidoso; a son, Thomas Adams of Missoula, Mont.; six daughters, Sue Loftis of Lawrenceville, Ill.; Cathy Wagner of Alamogordo; Caryl Neilsen of Salt Lake City; Lori Miner of Aurora, Colo.; Dawn Rardin of Winchester, Va.; and Page Cochran of Lancaster, Calif.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

R. D. Lee
Services for R. D. Lee, 93, of Lovington will take place at 10 a.m. Feb. 15 at the First Baptist Church in Lovington with Rev. Harry Pittam and Rev. Jake Armstrong officiating. Burial will take place at the Lovington Cemetery.
Mr. Lee died Feb. 12, 2001 at his residence.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1951 where he also served as a deacon. He served on the Lovington School Board from 1955 to 1969.
Mr. Lee married Leora Culp on April 6, 1930 in Lovington. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Pat Lee, two grandsons, one grand daughter, and a brother, Giles Lee of Lovington.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Rogers Funeral Home of Lovington.

Bill Butler
The funeral for Bill Butler, 64, of Fort Lupton, Colo. was Aug. 19.
Mr. Butler died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in Brighton, Colo. He was born Nov. 8, 1935 in Denver, Colo., to Leo William Butler I and Louise Turner.
He has lived in Fort Lupton, Colo. since 1996.
He was superintendent for the Mescalero Schools in Mescalero from 1991 to 1996, moving in 1996 to become chief administrator with the Miccousukee Indian School in Miami, Fla., and in 1997 interim city administrator of Fort Lupton, Colo.
He attended Denver University and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1959 with a B.A. in secondary education and a minor in business administration, and later received his master's degree in educational administration in 1967.
From 1959 to 1962, he was a teacher and director of the school lunch program in Durango, Colo. School District, and was food service director for California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., from 1962-1963. He was audio-visual director and teacher for North Junior High School in Aurora, Colo. from 1963-1969. Mr. Butler served as principal at Zuni Junior and Senior High School in Zuni from 1969-1972, and from 1972-1979, was principal at Eaton High School, Eaton, Colo.
He was owner of a roofing contractor and janitorial service from 1979 to 1981, resident property manager from 1981 to 1985, director of special programs from 1985 to 1986, acting superintendent and assistant superintendent at Red Mesa Unified School District from 1986 to 1991.
Survivors include sons Leo William Butler III from Green Bay, Wis., and Paul Bradley Butler from Longmont, Colo.; daughters Beverly Jean Liddell from Lynnwood, Wash., Kathleen Kerby Livingston from Fort Lupton, Colo., and Mitzi (Phil) Trejo from Fort Lupton, Colo.; sisters Janet Watts from Boulder, Colo., and Kerby Mumma from Hagerstown, Md.; and 10 grandchildren.
Edgar J. Garrett
The funeral for Edgar Jackson Garrett, 76, of Odessa, Texas, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, Odessa, with the Rev. Jim Ray Brown officiating.
Mr. Garrett died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Murdock, Ill., and has been a resident of Odessa since 1974. He was a World War II veteran in the 99th Infantry. He was a Baptist and a retired welder.
Survivors include sons Kelly Eugene Garrett of Odessa, Texas; Jackie Martin Garrett of Wilmington, N.C.; and William Tillman Garrett of Danville, Ill.; a daughter, Jacqueline Sue Krawczyk of Odessa, Texas; a brother, Johnny Garrett of Matton, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Elsie E. Williams
Services for Elsie E. Williams, 87, of Ruidoso will be held at a later date. Mrs. Williams died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, in Ruidoso.
She was born Dec. 15, 1912 in Chicago, Ill.
She moved to Ruidoso 54 years ago from Houston, Texas. She was a retired office manager for Brunell's and a member of Community United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Harold Evjen of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a daughter, Ann Brunell of Ruidoso; and a grandson, Ken Brunell of Seattle, Wash.
The family requests memorials to Humane Society of Lincoln County.

Frederick 'Chavalo' Sanchez
A graveside memorial service for Frederick "Chavalo" G. Sanchez, 68, of Alamogordo, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Carrizozo, with Father David Bergs officiating.
Mr. Sanchez died Wednesday, July 19, 2000.
He was born May 31, 1932, in Carrizozo, the son of Abraham Sanchez and Felipa Rodriguez.
He had lived in Alamogordo for 20 years, coming from Los Angeles, Calif. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Socorro Casares Sanchez of the family home; a son, Ricky Sanchez of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Victoria Silva of Albuquerque; grandchildren Joaquin, Amor and Celina Silva; brothers Frank Sanchez of San Demus, Calif., George Sanchez of El Paso, Texas, Raywell Sanchez of Albuquerque, Herman Sanchez of Lavern, Calif., and John Sanchez of San Diego, Calif.; sisters Nena Ortiz and Polly Chavez, both of Carrizozo, Rite Roybal of Alto, and Rosylene Sanchez of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Romonacia Sanchez; and brothers David (Andy) Sanchez and Victor Jarmillo.

Veronica Sundayman
A prayer service for Veronica Beck Sundayman, 34, of Mescalero, will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24 in St. Joseph's Mission, where the funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Verheggan, OFM, officiating.
Mrs. Sundayman died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, in Albuquerque. She was born Feb. 5, 1966 in Alamogordo and lived in Mescalero all her life.
She was a secretary for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and a member of St. Joseph's Mission.
Survivors include her children Gilbert Kordero Lucero and Shovonn Elizcelia Lucero, both of Mescalero; her parents Lucille and Larry Beck of Mescalero; brothers James Sundayman, Ray Beck and Billy Beck, all of Mescalero; her grandmother, Mary Salazar Sundayman of Mescalero; an aunt, Mary Lou Randall of Mescalero; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorials to a trust fund for Shovonn and Gilbert Lucero at Wells Fargo Bank in Ruidoso.
