CAROLYN SUE AMBROSE, 66, of Santa Fe died Feb. 9.
She was born in Medicine Lodge, Kan., to the late Thomas E. and Wanda B. Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ambrose; daughter, Dani Sue Martin; and sister, Tanya D. Nickels.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Martin and wife, Yolanda; Jamie Martin; Scott Martin; Robbie Ambrose; Mark Ambrose and Paul Ambrose and wife, Marlene; 20 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Berardinelli Family Chapel.

FELIPE EMILIO DELGADO, 50, of Santa Fe died Monday.
He was born in Santa Fe, the son of the late Leopoldo A. and Tita Delgado. He was a direct descendent of Capt. Manuel Delgado and Don Felipe S. Delgado. He married Elisa Sifuentes Delgado in Santa Fe in 1981. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1971 and obtained his associate's degree in accounting from the Santa Fe Community College in 1997. He also worked as a meat cutter for more than 30 years and as a financial specialist for more than 12 years. He served as a volunteer for St. John's Soup Kitchen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Elisa Delgado; son, Moses Delgado; daughters, Sylvia Delgado, Candace Delgado and Henrietta Bratcher and husband; Jason; brother, Patrick Patterson and wife; Susan; two grandsons; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. today at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.

LILY MAE DIXON, 90, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Friday after a long illness.
She was born to William P. and Lillie Hart in La Landa near Fort Sumner. She graduated from Fort Sumner High School in 1930 and attended Bethany-Peniel College in Oklahoma for 2 years. She completed her bachelor's degree at New Mexico Highlands University in 1934. She began teaching in Tatum and taught there for four years. In 1938, she attended a year at Colorado Teachers College in Greeley, working toward her master's degree. In 1939 and 1940, she taught fifth grade at Douglas School in Las Vegas, N.M. She married Clyde Dixon in 1941 in Las Vegas, N.M., at which time she left the teaching profession to raise a family. In 1958, she obtained her master's degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and returned to teaching in Las Vegas, N.M., where she taught fifth grade until her retirement in 1976 after 27 years of teaching. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Mexico Retired Teachers Association, the Las Vegas Woman's Club, The Association for Family and Community Education and Senior Circle. She volunteered for the North Eastern Regional Hospital auxiliary for 27 years and was a member of Friends of the Library for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Hart and Lillie Hart; brother, Gale Hart; sister, Ruby Hart; husband, Clyde Dixon; and sons, Gerald Dixon and William Dixon.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Wells and husband, Jerry Wells; one granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Las Vegas Building Fund.

ALEX "HORSE" OTTIE OMAN GRANT, 56, of El Rancho died Monday after a short illness. He did plaster work during his working years. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his garden and being with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ottie Oman Grant and sister, Bertha Olsen.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Emelina Grant of El Rancho; children, Alex Grant Jr. and fiancee Cindy, Rosemary Rodriguez and husband Jesus and Yvette Garcia and companion Juan Gutierrez, all of Santa Fe; former wife, Yvonne Grant of Santa Fe; brothers and sisters, Ruth Vigil and husband, Richard, of Rio Rancho; Rose Rapoza and husband Alvin B. of Texas and Thomas Grant of El Rancho; special cousin, Raymond Baros of Jacona; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

JERRY F. MARTINEZ, 48, of San Juan Pueblo died Monday.
He was a lifelong resident of San Juan Pueblo and a 1975 graduate of Espaņola Valley High School. He was employed at Duke City Lumber Company for several years. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, hunting and participating in tribal activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Emilio and Julianita A. Martinez.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawna-Marie Martinez and companion Ronald Bullcoming; two grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Martinez, Eddie "Bo" Martinez and wife Velma, and Vernon Martinez and wife Rene; and many other relatives and friends.
Services have taken place with burial at the San Juan Pueblo Cemetery.

MARGARITO ARAGON, SR., 92, of Conchas Dam died Wednesday at the Sombrillo Nursing Home in Los Alamos. He was born in Sabinoso to the late Simon Aragon and Genoveva Maes. He moved to Santa Fe in 2001 to be close to his son, Margarito Jr. He was married in Mosquero in 1932 to Maria Marina Martinez. He was a sheep and cattle rancher at the Bell Ranch and other nearby areas, was a farmer at the Clabber Hill Ranch for Dr. Arnett, worked for the New Mexico State Highway Department and was owner of the Plaza De Conchas Bar & Grill. He loved touring New Mexico, more so the high country areas such as Taos, Mora, Red River and Cimarron. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pablo Aragon, Alfredo Aragon, Antonio Aragon, Bengino Aragon and Antonio Aragon; and sisters, Guadalupe Aragon-Martinez, Julianita Aragon, Antonita Aragon, Adela Aragon and Annie Aragon. He is survived by his wife, Maria Aragon of Los Alamos; sons, Johnny Aragon of Albuquerque and Margarito Aragon, Jr. and wife Virginia of Santa Fe; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. DORA L. GONZALES, 73, of Hernandez died Thursday after a long illness. She was a longtime member of the Templo Zion Assemblia de Dios Church and a wonderful grandmother.
