RICHARD H. WOLFORD, 82, of Santa Fe died Saturday.
He was a senior partner with Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher of Los Angeles from 1946 until his retirement in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Richard George Wolford and wife Karen of San Francisco and Peter Arlington Wolford of Maui, Hawaii; and daughter, Felicia Wolford Morrow and husband Daniel of Bethesda, Md.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Santa Fe Opera, P. O. Box 2408, Santa Fe, NM 87504-2408.

JOE LOUCK, 34, of Santa Fe died Sunday of pneumonia at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque.
He was born in Los Alamos and grew up there. He graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1988. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, caving and horseback riding with his brothers and friends. He loved children and entertained many at Halloween with his unique costumes, decorations and personally prepared hand-outs to the trick-or-treat callers. He loved animals, especially dogs, and his kindness opened the door to many. He was a graduate of the University of New Mexico in 1993 with a degree in biochemistry. He held himself and his colleagues to the highest standard of integrity and honesty in his chosen profession of environmental engineering, which led him through a number of challenging jobs, the most recent being with Adelante Consulting.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sam.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Marge Louck, former Los Alamos residents, now in Santa Fe; brother, Tom of Albuquerque; and many other friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart and Soul Animal Sanctuary, 369 Montezuma Ave., Suite 130, Santa Fe, NM 87501. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Road, 662-2971.

PAT E. ORTIZ, 65, of Ranchos de Taos died Wednesday.

JOSE ANSELMO LOPEZ, 81, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Nov. 4, 2004, after a long illness.
He was formerly of El Guache. He enjoyed playing his guitar and was known for his love of music. He was preceded in death by his sons, Benny and Dennis Lopez; brothers, Emedardo and Epimenio Lopez; and parents, Federico and Rebecca Lopez.
