EDWINA HERRERA, 65, of El Rancho died unexpectedly Thursday.
She worked as an administrative assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory before retiring after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her father, Procopio Herrera.

He was born in San Miguel to Florinda S. Sena and Locario Hurtado Sr.

GAYLE WINNEBERGER, 61, of Santa Fe died Wednesday after a long illness.
She was born Glenda Gayle Driver in Yakima, Wash., to James Edward and Reta Mae (Stark) Driver. She loved her pets, playing the organ, music, growing orchids, playing bridge, singing in musical plays at the Santa Fe Arts Institute and studying a variety of birds at her many bird feeders. She was a member of the Oley Foundation, Santa Fe Country Club Women's Golf Association, Santa Fe Garden Club and the Santa Fe Women's Club. She had a calm, sweet disposition. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, George Winneberger of Santa Fe; sons, David Bush of Los Angeles and Timothy Bush and wife Michelle of Cheyenne, Wyo.; stepdaughters, Terri and husband Greg Martin of Santa Fe and Chris and husband Carl Pollak of Ponca City, Okla.; stepsons, David Winneberger and Dale Winneberger and wife Teresa, all of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; siblings, Lynn Winneberger of Redondo Beach, Calif., Kay LaBreche of Garden Grove, Calif., Blythe Johnson of Junction City, Ore., Darla Polo of La Palma, Calif., and Roger Driver of Lakewood, Calif.; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's United Methodist Church.
