OLIVAMA G. MARES, 89, of Fairview died Tuesday.
She was born in El Rancho, the daughter of Federico and Emerenciana Gonzales. She was a member of Hermanas of El Buen Pastor Church of Española.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marcelino Bustos and second husband, Rutilio Mares.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Bustos Gonzales and husband Jake Perea, and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service.

MOISES D. ORTIZ, 62, of Santa Fe died Monday.
He was born in Jerome, Ariz., the son of Moises and Natividad Ortiz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brothers, Joe Ortiz, Anselmo Ortiz, Fred Ortiz and Michael Ortiz; sisters, Gabie Anaya, Lorrie Montoya, Viola Esquibel and Mary Ann Lynch; and sons, Joseph, Andrew and Danny Ortiz.

ROY VIGIL, 79, of Santa Clara Pueblo died unexpectedly Aug. 14.
He served in the U.S. Marines and fought in World War II. He lived most of his life in California.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara B. Sisneros; brother, Frank Baca; and sister, Eva Vicenti.
He is survived by his brother, Sam Sisneros and wife Ramona of Santa Clara Pueblo; sisters, Pasqualita Montoya and Virgie Sisneros, both of Santa Clara and Rita Martinez of Gallup; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Santa Clara Pueblo Catholic Church with burial to follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.

ROY C. COWELL, 62, of Chama died Sunday.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Cowell of Chama; parents, Raymond and Helen Cowell of Santa Fe; close nieces, Ashley and Sara Trujillo of Los Lunas, a godson, Pablo Montoya from Santa Fe; sisters, Elaine Lewis and husband Gary of Las Vegas, Susan Montoya and husband Mario of Santa Fe; and many other relatives and friends.

TROLLA TRUJILLO KRAKER, 84, died Monday.
She was born in Dawson. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico, living in Los Alamos and Mora. She lived in the Mora valley, Chupadero, for over 40 years. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Army during World War II, achieving the rank of captain. She served her community as a nurse in Cleveland, N.M. for the Mora Valley Clinic. She loved the serenity and grandeur of "El Rancho Trujillo" and was happiest sitting on the front porch enjoying the beauty of the farm. She loved to collect rocks and other treasures she would find in her long walks in the mountains. She loved animals. Her household included several dogs and cats, birds, a monkey, peacocks, geese, ducks and chickens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Matias Trujillo, and mother, Fidelina Trujillo; sister Angie LeDoux and brother Secundino Trujillo.
She is survived by many relatives, friends and pets.
A public celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 801 Douglas Ave, Las Vegas, N.M.

FRANK R. MARTINEZ, 65, of Ranchos de Taos died Friday. He retired from mining in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricio and Eva Martinez, brother Pat Martinez and sister, Isabel Ortega.

GLEN A. MARTINEZ, 47, of Velarde died Friday after a short illness.
He was originally from Dixon. He worked for the Los Alamos Public Schools until 2003. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing with his two sons. He enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden and selling them at the Farmers Market in Santa Fe. He loved music and played and sang with his brothers in a band to entertain his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Silas E. Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Martinez; sons, Frankie and Andrew Martinez; mother, Tonie Martinez of Dixon; sister, Martha Lorraine Martinez of Santa Fe; brothers, Carl David Martinez and wife Nellie of Pojoaque and Chris, Bobby and Kenny Martinez, all of Dixon; and special cousin, Phillip Griego and wife Frances of Italy.
