FELIX F. VIGIL, 70, of Cundiyo died Sunday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Higinia Vigil; brothers, Lupe Vigil, Bonifacio Vigil and Willie Vigil; and sister, Margarita Vigil.
He is survived by his wife, Trinidad Amalia Vigil; children, Lucille Garcia and husband Michael of Cuarteles, Leroy Vigil and James Vigil, both of Cundiyo, Joan Sandoval and husband Leroy or Truchas, Terry Chacon and husband Carlos of El Duende and Felix Damian Vigil Jr. and wife Monica of El Guique; sister, Ermalinda Leyba of West Jordan, Utah; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at La Iglesia De Santa Cruz De La Cañada with burial to follow at Santa Cruz Cemetery.

JACQUELINE (JACKIE) CASTELLANO, 53, of Santa Fe died Sunday. She was preceded in death by her father, Florencio Castellano. EVA T. CIURA, 85, of Santa Fe died Monday. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of Quinto and Mary Mengarelli. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Mengarelli. CARLOS M. GYGOX, 64, of Las Vegas, N.M., died June 19 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital. He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to the late Edward Gygox and Marcella Garcia Gygox. He retired in 1998 from Vodas Auto Parts where he was employed since 1957 as a salesman. He was a lover of automobiles and enjoyed rebuilding carburetors and transmissions. He knew every stock number on the Auto Parts. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bobby Gygox. He is survived by his son, Charles William Gygox of Las Vegas, N.M.; brother, Edward Gygox Jr. and wife Marcella of Albuquerque; sisters, Emily Casaus and husband Luis, Margaret Lucero and husband Michael and Mary Louise Gygox; special friend, Steve Romero, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; brother, David Gygox and wife Mela of Albuquerque; mother of his son, Juliet Gygox of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends. MARY ANN HERRERA-LAWSON, 73, of Thorton, Colo. died Saturday at St. Anthony's Hospital North in Denver. She was a former resident of Phoenix and Las Vegas, N.M. She was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to the late Benerito Herrera and Carlota Aragon Herrera. She was married to the late Wiliam Lawson in 1957. She loved to read her Bible. She also enjoyed crocheting and watching the 700 Club on TV. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Thorton, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Joe H. Herrera; sisters, Emma Orin and Elsie Garcia; and first husband, Marvin Caudill. She is survived by her daughters and son, Pat Torres and husband Tony of Las Vegas, N.M.; Mary Ann Sena and husband Leroy of North Glenn, Colo., William Matthew Lawson and friend Lisa of Thorton, Colo., Theresa Hixson and husband Sam of Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Josie Garcia of Las Vegas, N.M., and Pauline Pino and husband Joe of Santa Fe; brothers, Paul Herrera and Margarito Herrera, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends. JEREMY JUDE MARQUEZ, 20, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Tuesday in Lubbock, Texas, after injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to Ben F. Marquez and Clarabel Jaramillo Marquez. He was a 2001 Robertson High School graduate and attended Luna Community College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed with the state Department of Transportation, working with the sealing crew in District 4. He was an artist and rancher. He enjoyed carpentry, horseback riding, hunting, being outdoors and spending time at the ranch. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was close to all his cousins and family members. He is survived by his fiancée, Melinda Chavez of Las Vegas, N.M.; parents, Ben and Clarabel Marquez of Las Vegas, N.M.; sisters, Adreiena Armijo and husband Kelly of Las Vegas, N.M., and Annmarie Marquez of Indiana; and many other relatives and friends. MARGARET C. RUBIO, 73, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Sunday at University of New Mexico Hospital. She was born in Albuquerque. She received her bachelor's degree at St. Joseph's College in Albuquerque. She began her teaching career at Barcelona Elementary School and San Felipe School, both in Albuquerque. She taught at the North and South public schools and spent the rest of her career at Legion Park Elementary School in Las Vegas, N.M., until her retirement. She was a member of the Northeastern Regional Hospital Auxiliary and the Alta Vista Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Candelaria and brother, Nick Candelaria. She is survived by her husband, Dan Rubio of the family home; daughters, Anna Marie McClellan and husband Billy of Las Cruces and Jane Rubio of Rifle, Colo.; mother, Lily Candelaria of Albuquerque; sisters, Ella Lucero of San Bruno, Calif., and Gloria Cole of Littleton, Colo.; brother, John Candelaria and wife Emily of Albuquerque; one granddaughter; and many other relatives. AMARANTE "MONTE" N. CHAVEZ, 92, of Santa Fe died Monday. He was born in Tesuque, the son of Lucas and Bonifacia Chavez. He married Ramona Fresquez in 1952 in Santa Fe. He was employed by La Fonda from 1924 to 1990. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a Golden Eagle member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Chavez; sons, Mike Chavez, Robert E. Chavez and wife Ruth; daughters, Marie Gallegos and husband Mike, May Roybal and husband Joe, Diana M.
