She graduated from Taos High School and furthered her education in Denver at Loretto Heights Academy.
She is survived by her parents, Eloy and Mary Gurule of Taos; brother, Joseph Gurule and wife Linda; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Rivera Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Sierra Vista Cemetery.

PRESILIANA "PERCY" GONZALES, 79, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Thursday following a long illness.
She was born in San Isidro Norte to the late Pablo Gonzales and Juanita Aragon. She was married to the late Narciso M. Aragon in 1951 in Las Vegas, N.M. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Salome Gonzales; brothers, Bernardo Gonzales, Carlos Gonzales, Delfido Gonzales Juan Gonzales and Eustacio Gonzales; infant son, Jesse M. Aragon; and daughter, Irene M. Aragon-Gallegos.
She is survived by her children, Sadie Sandoval and husband, Arturo, of San Isidro Norte; Mary Lee Ortiz and companion, Freddie Roybal; Julian Aragon, and Flora Aragon, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; Arthur Aragon of Santa Fe, and Margaret P. Padilla and husband, Eli, of La Tewa; nine grandchildren; brothers, Aaron Gonzales and wife, Dolores, Leo Gonzales and wife, Prescilla, all of San Isidro Norte and Albert Gonzales and wife, Estefanita "Tita", of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends.

CHARLES GEOFF BRYCE, 57, of Valdez died unexpectedly Tuesday
He was director of the Taos Valley Acequia Association and head of Four Corners Animal League.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bryce.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Lugones; mother, Marion Bryce; sister, Linda Bryce; and many other relatives and friends.

EDWARD F. MCGRATH, 78, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
He was born in Englewood, N.J. He married Anne K. McGrath in Santa Fe in 1998. He was employed as a broker for Smith Barney in Santa Fe. He was a member of Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church as well as a professional tennis player for many years.

PETE J. RUBIN, 71, of Wagon Mound died Tuesday.
He was born in Optimo. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1955. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the Wagon Mound area and on a special crew in Springer area for District 4 of the state Highway Department and retired after 34 years service. He was a member of the Mora-San Miguel Senior Citizens group and a member of the Santa Clara Church in Wagon Mound.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Floripa Rubin.
He is survived by his sons, Ivan Hiller and wife, Peggy, of Denver; Abran Rubin and wife, Ann, of Los Lunas; Pedro Rubin and wife, Viola, of Mesa, Ariz., and Leonard Rubin of Wagon Mound; daughter, Anita Lynch and husband, Thomas, of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Eloy Rubin of California; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

LEO R. SANCHEZ, 60, of Dixon died Thursday.
He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was well known for his stucco and plastering work. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rudy Sanchez; father, Leo Sanchez Sr.; and brother, Tommy Sanchez.

CYNTHIA M. WALCZAK, 51, of Santa Fe died Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.
She grew up in New Jersey before moving to Santa Fe in 1987. Prior to being employed by the state Department of Health, she had been an entrepreneur in Santa Fe and a teacher in Spotswood, N.J. She earned a doctorate in Oriental medicine in 2001. She was an avid athlete. She had a love of nature and all creatures.
She is survived by her partner, B.J. Butler of San Jose; sister, Karen Housman of Parlin, N.J.; brothers, Kenneth and Timothy and wife, Karen, of South Amboy, N.J.; and many other relatives and friends.
