MARGARET DOLORES ORTIZ Y ORTIZ DE CAMPOS, 92, of Santa Fe died Monday. She was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe.
She wrote poetry and documented her family geneology in historical papers. She assisted in compiling the data for a book titled "Mission Monuments of New Mexico" by R. Fisher and E. Hewitt. She worked for the WPA during World War II at the Army Recruiting Office. She retired from the state's Vital Records Division. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Facundo and Francisquita Ortiz; and husband, Jose Santos Campos. She is survived by her sons, Manuel and Frank Campos; daughters, Margaret C., Francisco, Tricia, Vanessa and Patsy Campos; four grandchildren; and many other relatives. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. THEODORA "DORA" ENCINIAS, 64, of Leyba died Sunday. She was born and raised in Leyba. She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Chavez; mother, Concha Pino Chavez; and brother, Victor Chavez. CARIANA GONZALES, 2 1/2, of Santa Fe died Wednesday of leukemia.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Allen Osterland and Arthur and Cuca Gonzales. She is survived by her parents, Dr. David and Dr. Janis Gonzales; brother, Placido Gonzales; sister, Liesl Gonzales; special friend, Cecilia Solis; and many other relatives and friends. JACK HARKLEROAD, 62, of Albuquerque died Wednesday after suffering a heart attack. He was born in Rush Springs, Okla. He moved to Santa Fe in 1946. He loved the state of New Mexico and later moved from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked for the State Police for 15 years, earning the rank of captain. In 1975, he was appointed chief of security for then-Gov. Bruce King. Later, he went to work for the state Motor Transportation Division and at the time of his death served as the chairman of the Gaming Control Board. Besides his total devotion to his family, he contributed many years of service to his community and the Democratic Party. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen "Red" and Nell Harkleroad; and sister, Fay Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Janis Harkleroad, children, Jeff Harkleroad and Jackie (Jay) Metzger, both of Tennessee, Robert Corlew and wife JoAnna and Shellie Corlew, all of New York; four grandchildren; brothers, Leo and wife Dorothy, Bill and wife Birdie, Dean and wife Susan and Stan and wife Virginia; and many other friends. TONY ANTHONY SALAZAR, 43, of Chimayó died Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was a former resident of Sylmar, Calif. NICK CORAZZI, 89, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
He was born in Dawson to Italian immigrants Silvio and Veronica Corazzi. He graduated from Cimarron High School and then attended business college in Chillicothe, Mo. He made his home in Santa Fe in 1935 and eventually brought all his family to Santa Fe. He was employed as an accountant with the state Highway Department until his retirement in 1971. He enjoyed 33 years of retirement. He became a licensed real estate broker and enjoyed participating in the Sons of Italy and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, bowler and gaming enthusiast. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and he served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. He was a friend to many, and those friendships were treasured.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gina Simoncini and Clorinda Scarafiotti; and brother, Al Corazzi.
He is survived by his children, Pam Grabowski and husband Ed of Santa Fe, Mark Corazzi and wife Diana and Greg Corazzi, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and Donna Corazzi of Albuquerque; brother, Ray Corazzi of Santa Fe; and many other relatives and friends.

He was born in Albuquerque.

FLORENCE M. HERRERA, 54, of Los Pachecos died Thursday after a long illness.
She loved camping, fishing and cooking. She enjoyed making tortillas for her family. She was a loving wife and mother.
