On November 9, 2001, of Marlton. Age 63.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Tiernan. Loving mother of Eileen Dollarton and her husband Tim of Washington Twp, Ralph Tiernan, Jr. and his wife Donna of Washington Twp, Patricia Tiernan and Julie Tiernan both of Marlton, and Thomas Tiernan and his wife Mara of Brick Twp.

Devoted grandmother of 10. Dear Sister of Jack and Kitty Farrell of Blackwood, Jack and Joan Lehane of Phila, Connie and Barbara Lehane of Marlton, and sister in Law of Edward and Carol Tiernan of the Villas, and Catherine and Dick Schulz of Cheltenham.

Mrs. Tiernan worked at IBS Bank in Cherry Hill and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Monsignor Fitzpatrick Coucil of the Knights of Columbus in Phila.

Tillman, Leona P.

LEONA POWE TILLMAN, 88 yrs, of Tabernacle, NJ, formerly of Bayou La Batre and Irvington, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24th, 2003 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. Leona was born in Coy, AL to Willard D. Powe and Ethel Outlaw Powe. She married Alma Tillman in 1934. She is survived by her husband, her daughters Glenda T. Hauser and her husband Ed of Tabernacle, NJ, Nadine T. Wimmer and her husband Al of Decatur, IL, her Granddaughters Melanie Hauser of Eugene, OR and Meredith and Charlene Hauser of Tabernacle, NJ, Amanda Wimmer of Washington, DC and her Grandson Bracken Wimmer of Urbana, IL. She is also survived by her sister Mary Agnes Pendarvis of Irvington, AL one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, a son and a daughter. Leona was a long time member of the Community of Christ Church in Bayou La Batre, AL. She was a true homemaker and enjoyed gardening and quilting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and leaves all who knew her with warm memories to cherish. Tilton, Richards " Bugs "

RICHARD S. "BUGGS" TILTON, 75, of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Monday at home. He was an electrical engineer at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for 35 years, retiring in 1985. He received government patents for several electronic devices. He was a parishioner of First Presbyterian Church of Long Branch where he served as deacon. He was named 1987 Man of the Year for Phi Chi Pi Fraternity, Cub Scout master and troop counsel for Troop 58, Oceanport, member of the Sun Eagle Golf Course, Fort Monmouth, and member of the Oceanport Recreational Committee where he was responsible for the tennis courts. In 1953, he organized the Long Branch Ski Club and was a member of the West Long Branch Snow Ski Club. He was a former member of the Long Branch Ice Boat & Yacht Club. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident with a home in Melbourne, Fla.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Patsy Kraft Tilton; a son, Craig R. Tilton of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie L. and Steve Clay of Stafford, Va.; and four granddaughters, Taryn, Austin, Kendall and Evan Clay.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 10 a.m. Friday from the funeral home. Timmons, Jessie Marie

Jessie Marie Timmons, 86, of Green Creek, died on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home. She was born in Bridgeton and was a lifetime area resident. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Erma, where she taught Sunday School. She was a machine operator for a sportswear factory in Woodbine.

She is survived by her son, William R. Timmons, and his wife, Ethel of Eldora; her brother, Jerry Gilman of Belleplain; her sister, Ida White of North Cape May; one grandson; her niece, Stella Halburner and her husband, David of Lawrenceville, GA; her nephews, Rodney Gilman and his wife, Anna Marie, and Jerry Gilman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Timmons, and a daughter, Elizabeth T. Banthuyne.

Services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church, 616 Shunpike Road, Erma, where friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Holiness Church, 616 Shunpike Road, Erma, NJ 08204.

Tocci, Maureen C.

TOCCI, Maureen C. (nee Meagher) on January 28, 2002 of Mt. Laurel NJ. Age 63. Beloved wife of the late Gerald C. Tocci. She is survived by her children, Timothy of Waretown NJ, Christine Trapp of Waxhaw NC, Peter of Grosse Ointe Park MI, and Craig of Shamong NJ and 7 grandchildren: Haley, Mackenzie, Landon, Lauren, Rachel, Drew, and Ben. Tolen, Mary June

Tolen, Mary June, nee Haley, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Hamilton Square, New Jersey experienced a Peaceful Passing at home with her loving children on April 12, 2004, Other family members at her bedside included dear twin sister Rita Ondy Godlove, Mary Rita Durbin, Charles Haley Godlove, and Aza Avakyan.

Wife of fifty years of the late Martin J. Tolen, Sr. Beloved mother of Martin J. Jr. "Chip" and his wife Linda of Gloucester Township, Marilee Jean of Cherry Hill and her partner John Maeder of Atco, Michael James and his wife Mary Alice of Cherry Hill. Loving grandmother of Kailey, Jenna, Mikayla, and Meade. She is also survived by nieces Jeanne Krofina, Mary Rita Durbin, Anne Higgins, and nephews Charlie Godlove, and George Rummel.

Mary was born in Roscoe, PA and attended school in Roscoe and California PA, and completed classes at California State Teachers College. Mary and twin Rita, worked as Final Assembly Inspectors for the TBM 2 Airplanes. Mary also worked at Sloane Blavon Company in Trenton. Moved to Cherry Hill in 1966 and was employed by Camden County in the Unemployment Office, Probation Department, Parks Commission, and the Family Court System.

Mary was an avid singer and known Mistress of Ceremonies with various groups such as the Ham and Eggers. She also performed for Senior Citizen groups, in nursing homes, and on TV.

Mary was a healer to her family and professionally. Her greatest love was her family. Her passion was Holistic Health having studied Healing Touch, Reiki, Massage, and Foot Reflexology. She would often travel the country with her daughter, a nationally known holistic nurse healer, attending Body, Mind, Spirit conferences. She was a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association.

A humanitarian, visionary, and true friend to all, Mary was most known for her song and her incredible love.

In lieu of flowers a Scholarship Fund in the M. J. Tolen name has been established to help provide Holistic Education in Complementary Therapies in End of Life Care through Samaritan Hospice. TOLEN, on November 26, 2001, Martin J., Sr. ‘Marty’ of Cherry Hill NJ, formerly of Hamilton Square. Beloved husband of Mary J. (nee Haley) for 50 Golden Years. “ Marty” is survived by son Martin J. Jr. “Chip”, and wife Linda of Gloucester Twp, daughter Marilee Tolen and friend John Maeder, and son Michael and wife Mary Alice of Cherry Hill. Devoted grandfather of Kailey, Jenna, Mikayla, and Meade, and brother of Rosemary Derone of Williamsport, PA. Born in Williamsport where he attended St Joseph’s Catholic School and proudly attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army Air Corps as a Staff Sargeant in Europe and Africa. During the war, he survived a plane crash in Eritrea Africa. Attended Lochhaven State College, graduated from Rider University Class of ’49. Employed by Aetna Life & Casualty as a Superintendant of Claims, retiring after 35 yrs. Also an independent Claims Specialist for many insurance and law firms. Active member and usher of St Pius X Church in Cherry Hill. He was a 4th Degree Sir Knight of Knights of Columbus. Tomaselli, Naomi S.

NAOMI S. TOMASELLI (Nee Seltzer), went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1st, 2004 at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Marlton, NJ. She was 80 years of age. Born in Port Carbon, PA, she resided in Medford, NJ for the past 7 yrs. Prior to this she and her husband had retired to Millford, PA after a long time residence in Haddon Heights, NJ. Naomi worked as a Registered Nurse for several years before and after raising her family. She is the beloved wife of Vincent H. Tomaselli and the loving mother of Vincent J. Tomaselli of Cherry Hill, NJ, Linda A. Sinesi of Destin, FL, Barbara J. DeSanto of Cherry Hill, NJ, Nancy L. Tomaselli of Cherry Hill, NJ and Joanne Rossi of Sewell, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 Grandchildren Amy and Jennifer DeSanto, Vincent and Anthony Tomaselli, and Gabrielle and Alex Rossi. Funeral Services will be private at the request of the family. Tomasic, Maxine

TOMASIC, MAXINE, 51, of Cedar Brook, died on January 31, 2002. Beloved wife of Jack; devoted mother of Matthew; loving daughter of Nick and Stella Blendy; dear sister of Nicky (Debbie) Blendy and Billy (Barbara) Blendy and special aunt to six nephews. Born in Elkton, MD, she has been a resident of Cedar Brook since 1983. Maxine was a graduate of Widener University in 1980 majoring in management and economics. She worked 32 years as financial analyst at ATOFINA Chemicals in Philadelphia. She was involved in the youth athletics and dedicated her time as a "soccer mom." On 8/25/2002, of Frankston, TX, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ; age 51 years.

Beloved wife of, Margaret “Maggie” (nee Goulett); Loving son of, Rita (nee Grasso); Devoted father of, Vincent Tomasso, Andrea Kaliss, Christina Tomasso, Rocco Tomasso, Alex Tomasso, Emily Tomasso, Jennifer Hootsell and Matthew Hootsell; Loving grandfather of, Matthew; Dear brother of, Michelle Markovitz; also survived by, Kathy Tomasso.

Mr. Tomasso was employed as an electrical engineer.

Tomlin, John "Jack" R.

John R. "Jack" Tomlin, 62, a lifetime resident of Dias Creek, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was a crabber and commercial fisherman. He enjoyed drumfishing and in his younger years enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his daughter: Mary Lee Kroger of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; brothers and sisters: Philip and wife, Priscilla, and Howard and wife, Jennie, of Cape May Court House, Betty Kay Corson of Clearwater, FL, Marie Focht of Dias Creek, Kurt and wife, Barbara, of Dias Creek, Nancy Frisoli and husband, Thomas, of Villas, NJ, and special sister, Bette L. Tomlin of Dias Creek; stepbrothers: Herman Schempp and wife, Joan, of Colorado, Urban Schempp and wife, Carol, of Plumstead, PA; stepsister: Anita Curci and husband, Eddie, of Marlton, NJ and Gary Schempp of Dias Creek; grandsons: Jonathan, Tyler, and Zachary; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence J. and Kathryn J. Bruigila; brothers: Clarence J., Jr., Charles "Sug", James, and George; and sister: June Barnett.

Topita, on October 16, 2002, Frank G "Twink", of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 93. Beloved husband of 71 yrs to Helen (Carey) Topita. Loving father of Francis and his wife Barbara of Pasadena, MD, and Judith Ann Turner and her husband Ben. Survived by his 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Kenneth, Gary, Kevin, Keith, Caroline and Jennifer. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren. Twink was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be dearly missed. Torchia, Josephine Foggia

Josephine Foggia Torchia age 88 of West Long Branch died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of St Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch and a member of its Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Seniors; she enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and was an avid Yankee fan. Born in Long Branch, she had been a life resident of the area. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas J. Torchia in 1998.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Bruno Torchia; 2 daughters and a son in law, Rae and Alfonso Marisco, Eatontown; Angela Pfeiffer, Oakhurst; a daughter in law, Betty Torchia; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

TORNO, ESTHER E. (nee Lehman)

On January 26, 2003, of Pennsauken; age 77 years.

Beloved wife of the late, Laurino “Willie”; Devoted Mother of Deborah E. and her husband, Jim Johnson and Laura R. and her husband Jim Leeds; Loving grandmother of James II, Kimberly Dunn, Corey, Meghan and Michael and great grandmother of Dylan, Tyler and Damian.

Prior to retiring, Mrs. Torno was a supervisor at Courtaulds in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for over 20 years.

Towers, Jr., Michael Joseph (Tenore)

Michael Joseph (Tenore) Towers, Jr., age 51 of Eatontown, passed into glory after a short battle with Mesothelioma on July 6, 2004. For the last twenty years, Michael dedicated himself to the treatment of substance abuse. He was the Vice President of Endeavor House and later, Executive Director of NJS Counseling. He was most recently the Clinical Consultant of the Parent Support Group; Sr. Vice President of National Health Administrator, Inc.; Executive Director of the Monmouth Behavioral Health; President of Towers Management; and Vice President of Business Development for Community Improvement Association in Keene, NH. Born in Newark, he spent most of his life at the Jersey Shore. He was predeceased by his father, Michael J. (Tenore) Towers, Sr.; his beloved aunt, Marie Odiotti; his stepson Nicholas A. Aldarelli; and his companions loving mother, Marie Aldarelli. Surviving is his mother, Marianna (Tenore) Towers of West End, Long Branch; his domestic life companion of 30 years, Ralph Aldarelli of Eatontown; two aunts, Esther Leone and Geraldine Marabelli; an uncle, Tomas Leone; several cousins; his extended family, stepson, Christopher Aldarelli and his wife Laura and their children, Christopher, Jr., Nicholas and Gianna; Donald and Ursula Fornicola; Fran Giacone; Sister Christina Aldarelli, IHM; Nicholas Aldarelli and all their children. He is also survived by his lifetime friends, Joanne and Bob Wieczorek and children; Cathy Carollo; Karen Glass; Anne Gesualdo, Gregory DeFillipo; Anthony Fabiano; Michael DelSordo; and many loving friends and business associates, especially, Carol and Tim Sullivan; Dr. Frank and Adrian Maliano; Robert and Rita Boyle and Estelle Peepas and families. Towle, Lynn H.

LYNN H. TOWLE, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 3rd, 2004 at his home in Tabernacle, NJ. He was 54 yrs. of age. Born in Biddiford, ME, he formerly resided in Marlton, NJ. A self employed Heavy Equipment Operator, Lynn was also a veteran of the Vietnam War were he served as a dog handler. He is the beloved husband of Edie (Nee Myers) of Tabernacle, NJ and the loving Father of Jennifer Wylie of N.D., Lynn Towle of Lakeland, FL, Jason Graf-Towle, Lynnette Towle and Daniel Towle all of Marlton, NJ and Heather Bryant of Titusville, FL. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Greenlaw of Lakeland, FL, the mother of his children Jeanette Graf of Marlton, NJ, his sisters Darlene Towle of Stratford, NH, Darlene Colwell-Ellis and Sherry Towle both of Dover, NH, his 6 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late James Towle and the son of the late Daniel Towle. Townsend, Paul Phillip

Townsend, on February 27, 2002, Paul Phillip of Marlton NJ, formerly of Mt. Laurel NJ, Manteo NC and Westfield NJ. Age 72. Beloved husband of the late Alberta Townsend (nee Anthony). He is survived by his children, Valerie & Edward Stanislawczyk of Marlton, Brian & Peggy Townsend of Cambridge Springs PA, Richard Townsend of Columbia NC and Ellen & Robert Littman of St. Peters MO, 4 brothers, Charles E. and William J. of Westfield, John P. of New Bern NC, and Robert of VA, 4 sisters, Katherine Fisher of Scottsdale AZ, Margaret Triano of Westfield, Maryann Brosky of Cape Cod MA and Nancy Schroeder of New Egypt NJ and 7 grandchildren. He was owner and operator of Townsend Moving & Storage of Westfield and Camden, formerly his father’s business. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Rotary Club in Westfield. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 11:30 am at St. Joan of Arc Church, Willow Bend Rd., Marlton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton NJ 08053.

Tozer, Sr., Paul H.

Paul H. Tozer, Sr., 77, of Clermont, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cape May County.

He is survived by his children: Carol Feriozzi (Louis) of Northfield, NJ, Paula Eckardt (Mike) of Franklinville, NJ, and Paul, Jr., of Cape May Court House, NJ; brothers: Harvey of Clermont, NJ, and Eddie (Lorraine) of Villas, NJ; sister: Marion Heinz (George) of Millville; brother-in-law: Clarence Smith of Clermont, NJ; eight grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment in Calvary Baptist cemetery, Ocean View, NJ.
