Robinson, Mary A.
Mary A. Robinson, 87, of South Dennis died on Monday, September 30, 2002, peacefully with her family at her bedside at home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 23, 1915. She moved to Cape May County in her early childhood. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Ocean City. She was a 1934 graduate of Middle Township High School, a member and past president of the Dennis Township Fire Department Auxillary, a past president of the Dennis Township Rescue Department, and was the dispatcher for the fire company and rescue department before 911 was implemented. She had worked for the Armstrong Glass and Kerr Glass Companies as a glass packer before retirement.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Clara A. Coffey and her husband, Stephen R. of South Dennis; a sister: Florence Giuffra of Millville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and a brother, William G. Norton, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2002, at 10:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Friday morning 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Robinson, Francis L.
Robinson, Francis L., 85, of Rio Grande, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2005 at his home. Born in Quakertown, PA to the late Joseph and Rose (Haley) Robinson, he moved to Rio Grande 33 years ago from Philadelphia, PA. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the VFW in Cape May and the DAV of Del Haven, in which, he was past state chaplain.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his daughter, Mildred Necaise of Hobbs, NM; his sisters, Rose Diamond of Carlsbad, CA, Theresa Koch of Henderson, NV, and Sister Rosalina Robinson, S.C.C. of Williamsport, PA; his children, Marjorie Gonzalez of Bloomington, IN, Marie Chanatry of Solan, OH, Helen Freeman of Tarpon Springs, FL, Dennis Reilly of Villas, Theresa DiTomo of Sarasota, FL, and Charles Reilly of Conshohocken, PA; 34 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie on July 7, 2002, his son, James Robinson, and his daughter, Jackie Kelly.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and E. Mechanic St., Cape May Court House. Viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Robinson, Eleanor T.
Robinson, Eleanor T., 83, of Eldora, New Jersey, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at the Court House Convalescent Center, Cape May Court House. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to this area in 1946. She was a member of the Wildwood Civic Club. Mrs. Robinson managed several restaurants in the Wildwoods and enjoyed her work. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she will be truly missed by her family.
She is survived by two sons: G. Blaine and his wife, Beverly, and Lee and his wife, Corinne, both of Wildwood Crest, NJ; one daughter: Eleanor A. Robinson of Eldora, NJ; three grandchildren: Cathy Toland and her husband, Bill; Gary Robinson; and Christina Covarrubias and her husband, Carlos; and two great grandchildren: Brittany and Bryan Toland.

Robinson, Marie H.
Marie H. Robinson, 74 of Rio Grande died on Sunday at her home. She was born in Philadelphia and has lived here for the past 30 yrs. coming from Philadelphia. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the DAV Ladies Auxillary where she was both Past Commander and past State Commander, Cape May County AARP and had worked for the Cape May County Technical School in Food Service as a Cashier.
She is survived by her husband Frank. Her 2 sons Charles Reilly, Jr. of Consohocken, PA, and Dennis Reilly of Rio Grande. Her 5 daughters Mildred Necaise of Hobb's, NM, Marjorie Gonzalez of Bloomington, IN, Theresa DiTomo of Sarasota, FL, Marie Chanatry of Solon, OH and Helen Freeman of Tarpon Springs, FL. Her 2 brothers Francis Adamo of Rio Grande & Michael Adams of West Wildwood. Her 2 sisters Chatherine Reilly of Phila. & Josephine McGinley of Woodbury. She was pre deceased by her son James, daughter Jacqueline Kelly and brother David Adam. Also survived by 32 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Robinson, George "Hade"
George "Hade" Robinson, 87, of Ocean View, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Born in Upper Township to the late Charles and Emma Margarethe (Midgley) Robinson, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He revolved his time around family, church, and the fire hall. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ocean View. He served as deacon, assistant minister, and superintendent of the cemetery. He dug his first grave when he was sixteen years old. He was fire chief of the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years. He was a member of the Smokejumper Association. He worked as a carpenter and was also a bus driver. He enjoyed helping others.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his four daughters, Sue Smith and her husband, George of Allenwood, Judy Thompson and her husband, Paul of Cape May Court House, Gayle Thomas and her husband, Albert of Ocean View, and Deborah Jones of Langley, WA; his sister, Anne Corson of Cape May Court House; his six grandchildren, Scott, Shannon, Tara (Jeff), Derrek (Stephanie), Jaime (Bryan), and Beth (Mark); and fifteen great grandchildren, Christian, Hade, Samantha, Cole, Zoƫ, Kendall, Jahvin, Morijah, Sage, Judah, Ruby, Tanner, Karter, Josie, and Max. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty C. Robinson on January 19, 2002 and his son in law, Harrison Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2373 Route 9, Ocean View, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Merchantville since Junior High. She was a Sunday School teacher and summer Sunday School teacher, Sunday School superintendent, Church treasurer, active in the Ben Franklin School PTA, head of the Ben Franklin Field Day for many years, active in the Apache Band Booster, member of the Order of Eastern Star Haddonfield Chapter #140 and past Worthy Matron, member of the Mystic Assembly #5 Order of Rainbow for Girls and past Worthy Advisor. Mrs. Robinson worked at Cannon Bussiness Solutions for the past 6 years.

Robinson, William "Bill"
William "Bill" Robinson, 61, formerly of Dennisville, died Thursday at the Medical Center of Independence, Missouri. He was born in North Wildwood and lived in in Dennisville most of his life. He moved to Missouri three years ago. He was a 1958 graduate of Middle Township High School and the Trinity College of Florida in 1963.
He was pastor of the Dennisville United Methodist Church and the Church of the Nazarene for over sixteen years. He was a life member of the Dennis Fire Company; a founder of the Ruritan Club of Dennis Township; a member of the Dennis Museum; the N.W. Dennis Community Club; he also coached Youth Soccer and was a committeeman for the Boy Scout Troup #56 and had written for the Cape May County Gazette and the Herald for thirty years. He is survived by his wife, Kristy (McCullough); a sister, Barbara Knoll and her husband, Albert of Dennisville. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2001, at 11 am at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call after 10 am. Evans C. Robinson, Jr., 93, of Dorchester, died at home on Friday, November 9, 2007 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Chester, PA, he was raised in Sea Isle City. He was a member of the Conservation Corp before entering the Army and serving in the Philippines during World War II. Mr. Robinson worked at Parvin State Park for over 30 years. He loved his family and enjoyed clamming, fishing and crabbing on the Delaware Bay with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Florence Ruth (Wiley) Robinson of Dorchester; a son, Evans W. Robinson and his wife, Linda of Pittsgrove; a daughter, Bernice Robinson of Dorchester; and a son, William H. Robinson, Sr. and his wife, Geraldine of North Cape May; and his two grandsons, William H. Robinson, Jr. and Michael J. Robinson, both of North Cape May.

Robinson, Jr., Anderson
Mr. Anderson Robinson, Jr., 94, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Eastern Shore Nursing Home. Mr. Robinson was born on November 15, 1912 in Aiken, South Carolina to his parents Mary Jane and Anderson Robinson, Sr. Anderson was raised with his five sisters and one younger brother.
At the age of 18, he moved to Pennsylvania with his Dad. Later, he joined the U.S. Army in 1942 during World War II. During his time, he traveled in Europe and was granted an Honorable Discharge as Corporal A. Robinson, Jr. in 1946.
He met his wife, Mary Frances Reed; they were married
in October 1955. Anderson worked at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York City for 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Anderson was a very proud and dignified man and a true friend to many.
Upon his retirement, he moved with his wife to Cape May, New Jersey, where he resumed his love of gardening and farming. Anderson worked diligently each day from dawn to dusk outside in his garden. Anderson was very proud of his farming; he enjoyed sharing with those in the community.
Anderson was a member of Mt. Olivet Church in New York City. When he retired, he joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Cape May, New Jersey. Anderson loved to sing and he could be heard singing loudly during service his favorite song, "I Am On The Battlefield For My Lord".
His family and dear friends remember him as "Robbie" and a man with strong character and integrity. He will be missed by many as he leaves behind his wife, Mary Frances Robinson, two sisters-in-law, nieces, great nieces, great grandnieces, nephews, cousins, a godchild, and many, many loved ones.
Robbie will be missed by many and we rejoice in knowing that he has joined God in his Kingdom on Easter Day.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Michael Vincent Rocanella age 44 years of Swainton, NJ died suddenly on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Atlantic City Medical Center, City Division, Atlantic City, NJ. Michael was born in Camden, was a Marketing Representative, had grown up in Cherry Hill, NJ and lived in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. prior to coming to Swainton.
Michael was predeceased by his father James Rocanella, Sr. in 1993. He is survived by his mother Gladys (nee Epting) Rocanella. His two brothers James Rocanella, Jr. and Ralph Rocanella. His two sisters Sandra Rocanella and Patricia Rocalnella. Also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.

Gladys E. Rocanella, age 80 years, died on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the North Cape Center, North Cape May, NJ. Gladys was born in Camden, NJ to the late Ralph Epting and Elizabeth Cunningham and has lived here in Cape May County for the last six years, coming from Cherry Hill, NJ.
She is survived by her two sons; James Rocanella of CA & Ralph Rocanella of SC, her two daughters; Patricia Rocanella & Sandra Rocanella both of Cape May Court House, NJ. She was the proud grandmother of fourteen grandchildren and one great grand daughter.

Laura C. Rocap, 90, of Clermont, died on Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the Victoria Manor in North Cape May. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived here since she was 12 years of age. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Ocean View; the Mite Society of the Church; and served as Treasurer of the Church for many years. She was a member of the Star Lodge of the Order of the Eastern Star, now the Keystone Lodge, and was a past matron and a grand representative of the Lodge. She also was a member of the Republican Club of Dennis Township.
Mrs. Rocap is survived by three daughters, Joan E. Gerber and husband, Roger of South Dennis, Kathleen G. Shropshire of Acme, PA, and Linda J. Stagliano and husband, Ronald of West Wildwood; six grandchildren, William and Douglas Gerber, Paul Shropshire, Jr., Robin Shropshire, Laura Doughty, and Scott Stagliano; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Grace Macon of Dayton, OH and a sister in law, Katty Rocap of Sea Isle City. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. in 1989.

MARTA C. ROCHE (Nee Castro) passed away on Tuesday, June 8th, 2004 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland, NJ. She was 80 yrs. of age. Born in the Philippines, she resided in Medford, NJ for many years until moving the the Bishop McCarthy Residence. She is the wife of the late Frank Roche and the loving mother of Mary Lee MacPherson of Medford, NJ, Frank Roche of Washington, Joseph Patrick Roche of Levittown, PA and Eileen Javier of Manilla, Philippines. She is also survived by her sister, 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchildren. ROCHE, Helen E. (nee Grant), on February 21, 2005, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Willingboro. Age 88. Wife of the late Francis 'Terry' Roche. She is survived by her son, Dwight, daughter in law, Joyce, 3 grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn and Brandon all of Cherry Hill. Also survived by a sister in law, Kathleen Ortino of Largo FL, a niece, Sarah Scott and grand nieces, Alysha & Jenna Scott all of Newton NJ. Mrs. Roche was an original home owner of the Levitt built houses in Willingboro. She was a proud member of the Willingboro Emergency Squad and retired as a substitute teacher in Willingboro 20 years ago. Margaret Rochford, 94, of Burleigh, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at home. She was born in Liverpool, England to the late John and Frances (Roach) Doyle. She moved to this area in 1975 after living in Fairfax, VA and Portsmouth, VA. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She loved dancing, golf and bowling and enjoyed playing games.
Mrs. Rochford is survived by her children, Frances Ward of Oshawa, Canada, John Patrick Rochford of Las Vegas, NV, and Kathleen Rochford Clark of Burleigh; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Victoria Caesar in 2000.
