Raymond, Dorothy Grannis

Dorothy Grannis Raymond, 73, of Stone Harbor, NJ, died on Monday at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Brookline, MA, she has lived here for the past eleven years coming from Moorestown, NJ. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, The Wetlands Insititute, Stone Harbor Yacht Club, and a Volunteer at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was also Past President/Member at the Stone Harbor Garden Club and Women's Civic Club.

She is survied by her son: Nathaniel (Michelle) Raymond of Wethersfield, CT; daughters: Pamela Raymond of Ridge, MD, Rebecca (Mike) Engelke of North Canton, CT, and Amanda (Pete) Mayock of Sugar Land, TX; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Memorial Service will be on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 95th and Third Av., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. There is no calling time. Inurnment will be held privately at Johnson Corner cemetery, Lyndeborough, NH. Memorials may be made to the church in her memory.

Rayne, Lela Jane Aber

Lela Jane Aber Rayne, 87, of Green Creek, died on Monday, December 24, 2001 at her home. Born in Hamilton, NY, she had lived here since 1952 after moving from Germantown, PA. She was a clerk for Conover's Pharmacy in Cape May Court House. She was a member of Green Creek Community Church, the Cape May County Historical Society, the Christian Women's Society, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and Green Creek Fire Department Auxiliary. She was a volunteer of the Civil Air Command in the 1950's and for Disabled Swim Therapy.

Mrs. Rayne is survived by her daughters, Judy Collins of Dias Creek, and Nancy Rayne Smith of Jerome, AZ; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin "Snuffy" L. Rayne in 1983.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Green Creek Methodist cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to any hospice program or the Cape May County Historical Society, 504 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Raynor, Barbara J.

Barbara J. Raynor, 69, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2002, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Barrington, NJ, she has lived here for thirty years coming from Sickerville, NJ. She was an avid fisherman, gardener, horseback rider and was an excellent cook. She was a loving and caring wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband: Ernest B.; daughters: Barbara McCarraher of Del Haven and Gloria McHale-Werner of Goshen; brother: William Bay, Jr. of Whiting, NJ; sister: Gloria Brisbin of Glendora; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 14, 2002, at 3:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, where relatives and friends may call after 2:00 PM. Interment in Rio Grande cemetery, Rio Grande, NJ. Memorials to American Cancer Society or the Northern Shore Animal League.

Rea, Gavin Anthony

Gavin Anthony Rea, age 12 days old died Saturday April 5, 2003 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch he is the beloved son of Anthony and Courtney Stahl Rea of Eatontown.

He was predeceased by his twin brother Owen Anthony Rea on March 24.

Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, John and Leslie Stahl, Eatontown; his paternal grandparents, Shelia and John Brennan, Killarney, Ireland; and James Rea, Ireland; his aunts and uncle, Ivey and John Bettigole, Lincroft; Michele and Martin Spellman, Ireland; Lauren Stahl, Eatontown; and 5 cousins, Zachary, Isabella, Laura, Rebecca, and Gemma.

Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch will be in charge of the arrangements.

Realmuto, Santo Sam

Santo "Sam" Realmuto, age 94 of Eatontown died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at home. He was a retired mason and had been employed at Old Orchard Country Club, Eatontown for 12 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Old Guard Club and the Mason Tenders Union. Mr. Realmuto was a communicant of St Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Born in Italy, he had lived in Brooklyn, before moving to Eatontown 33 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Malato Realmuto in 2000. Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Millie and Ray Cervone, of Eatontown and his grandchildren, Lisa, Ray, and Shannon.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch, on Monday, April 11, from 9 - 10:30 am followed by a 11 am Mass at St Dorothea's R.C. Church. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. The family has requested memorial donations to the VNA of Central Jersey, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701-1096. L

Reardon, Nancy C.

Nancy C. Reardon, age 95, a lifetime resident of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cape May Court House, the daughter of the late John and Marianna Monichetti Costande. She was a retired secretary to the Cape May County Engineer after twenty two years of service.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Agenda Circle of the Church; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; the Cape May County Genealogical and Historical Society; and the Cape Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son: John R., Sr. (Dennise) of Cape May Court House; a daughter: Joanne Fink of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; a sister: Ann C. Watson of Cape May Court House; a sister in law: Lucy Costande; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1978; a sister, Rose Smith; and her two brothers, George Costande and Jerry Costande.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1 Church St., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, or to The Shores at Wesley Manor, 2201 Bay Av., Ocean City, NJ 08226.

Rearick, Elizabeth M

REARICK, ELIZABETH M. (nee Stetter) of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Gibsonia, PA, passed away on August 24, 2006 in Virtua Marlton Hospital at the age of 85. Elizabeth was born in Leechburg, PA on March 15, 1921. A devoted wife and homemaker, she enjoyed sailing with her husband, reading, gardening and had a special flair for needlepoint and rug hooking. Her many friends and family members will miss her kind ways and friendly smile. Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband, Edward of 57 years. Her brothers, George of Pitman, NJ & Karl of Seminole, FL and sisters, Jane Bachman of Spray Beach, NJ, Mary Prandini of Bethel Park, PA & Helen Stetter of Falls Church, VA, sister-in-law Caroline Hochdoerfer of FL, and many nieces & nephews. Voorhees and Riverton, NJ - REATH, Marion E. (nee Lindsay) on November 26, 2004, of Voorhees, formerly of Hague NY and Riverton NJ. Age 85. Beloved wife of 50 years of the late Thomas Patrick Reath. Loving mother of Thomas F. Reath and his wife, Kimberly, Michael L. Reath and his wife, Rosemary and Patricia K. and her husband, William Graves. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Gavin & Megan Reath and Daniel & Peter Graves, 1 great grandson, Jaden Reath and a sister, Audrey Latt. Rebola, Alice A.

Alice A. Rebola, 95, of Wildwood Crest, died at the home of her daughter, Edna Carlson, in Jefferson, GA on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Wildwood Crest for fifteen years after moving from the Villas. She had lived with her daughter for one year.

Mrs. Rebola was a member of the Grace Gospel Chapel of Rio Grande. She was a retired nurses' aide from Crest Haven Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Edna Carlson of Jefferson, GA; her two sons, Robert Taylor of North Wildwood, and Harry Taylor of Lynchburg, VA; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Florence Shaw.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2001, at 12 noon at Hillside cemetery, Roslyn, PA. Memorials may be made to the Grace Gospel Chapel, South Shore Road and Walsh Avenue, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.

Reda, Marie R.

REDA, Marie R. (nee Cifelli) suddenly on March 29, 2009, of Cherry Hill NJ, formerly of Marlton NJ. Age 82. Beloved wife of the late Albert C. Reda. Loving mother of Albert C. Reda Jr., Lucy Dulczak and her husband, John and Jacqueline Pontarelli and her husband, Jimmy. Devoted grandmother of John, Lauren and her husband, Danny, Alfonso, Miller, Domenic and Santino and devoted great grandmother of Natalie. Dear sister of Vincent Cifelli and his wife, Lucille and David Cifelli and his wife, Rita Mae and the late Robert and the late Rita. She is survived by a sister in law, Marie Cifelli and a brother in law, Anthony Marrone. Mrs. Reda enjoyed reading but her greatest pleasure was cooking for her family and friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Reda, Albert C.

REDA, Albert C. 'Blue' on June 27, 2008, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Marlton NJ. Age 85. Beloved husband of Marie R. (nee Cifelli) Reda. Loving father of Albert Reda, Jr., Lucy Dulczak and her husband, John and Jacqueline M. Pontarelli and her husband, Jimmy. Dear grandfather of John, Lauren, Alfonso, Miller, Domenic and Santino. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean Rossoni, Ellen DeCarlo and Rosie Gaspari. A veteran of the US ARMY, Mr. Reda owned his own paper hanging business for over 50 years. A devoted family man and friend, Mr. Reda enjoyed most of all being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him. Redanauer, Thomas M

On April 30, 2005 of Barrington, NJ age 78 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Nee. Haid). Devoted father of Kathleen M. Towers (Michael Troiano), Karen M. Redanauer (Richard Mercado) and Kristine M. Redanauer (John McPartland). Dear brother of M. Bernadette Rippel. Loving grandfather of Michael, Roxanne and Harrison. Mr. Redanauer was born in Philadelphia PA and graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School in 1939, LaSalle High School in 1943 and LaSalle College in 1949. Tom served in the US Navy during World War II. Tom was a longtime resident of Barrington where he established an Accounting firm. Mr. Redanauer was a former Municipal Clerk, Tax Collector and Treasurer for the Borough of Barrington for over 32 yrs and later served as Municipal Clerk and other offices for the Borough of Tavistock. Tom served on the Municipal Clerks Association of Camden County, which he helped organize, the NJ Municipal Clerks Association, where he served as President, and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, where he served as President and Director. Tom was a Charter Member and two time President of the former Barrington Lions Club where he served on and was Treasurer of the committee that established the library for Woodland School, and also served on the committee to establish the Barrington Little League. Mr. Redanauer was a member of the Barrington Civic League, in which he was a Past President, Barrington Republican Club, a Charter Member of the Barrington Historical Society and served on the committees that commemorated the 50th and 75th anniversaries of Barrington. Tom was also a devoted parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church where he served as Secretary of the Men's Club. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday evening from 6 to 9PM and again on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the METTS-POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. Redfern, Jr., Theodore H.

Theodore H. Redfern, Jr. was born on November 5, 1932, in Salisbury, N.C. to the late Theodore, Sr. and Gervaise Witt Redfern. He departed this life and went to his Eternal Home in Glory, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital.

Theodore was educated in the Salisbury School System. He graduated from JC Price High School, and later earned a degree from Livingstone College. Theodore served in, and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was last employed as a sales manager at "Fieldcrest" in New York for 30 years. During this time, he resided in New Jersey. After retiremen, he moved back to Salisbury, living there until he returned to New Jersey in 2006.

Theodore was joined in Holy Matrimony to Marilyn Williams on November 29, 1979. He accepted Christ at an early age in Salisbury. After he relocated to New Jersey, he joined the First Baptist Church in Woodbine, NJ. He usually attended the Saturday evening services and always enjoyed "It's A Highway To Heaven", sung during "Praise & Worship".

Theodore leaves to cherish his many fond memories: his wife - Marilyn; two sons - Theodore III and Todd (Tracy); four daughters - LaFawn Redfern, Ronit Redfern, Tonya Ramsue (Dennis) and Adrianne Dawson (Thomas Jr.); three grandchildren - Shadae Norris, Gabrielle Redfern and Alexandria Dawson; two brothers - Berry and Harold Redfern; two sisters - Deanna Martin and Constance Wansley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Theodore was predeceased by a brother, Haywood Redfern.

REDMAN, on January 24, 2002, Florence E. (nee Ellis) of Barrington, formerly of Haddonfield. Beloved wife of the late R. Stanley Redman Sr. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Robert S. Jr. and Peggy Redman of Barrington. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Born and raised in Haddonfield, Florence is the daughter of the late C. Howard Ellis of Ellis Meat Market, Haddonfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield. Redman, Robert S. Jr. on Oct. 5, 2002 of Barrington & Ship Bottom formerly of Haddonfield age 76.

Survived by his beloved wife Margaret J.'Peg' nee Welsh, 3 sons, Robert III (Diane) of Lindenwold, Richard W. (Linda) of Bedford, PA, Thomas H. (Kathleen) of Atco, a daughter, Margaret 'Peggy' (Michael) Dodd of Wilmington, NC, 7 grandchildren Sarah, Laura, Heather, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Thomas & Danielle, and 1 great-granddaughter Sarah Madison. Mr. Redman was an instructor in cabinet making & millwork for the Camden County Vo-Tech School in Pennsauken for 22 yrs. retiring in 1988. He owned his own company Redman Remolding. He was formerly employed with the Scarborough Builders and Milton C. Andrews Construction. A member of the Haddonfield - Cherry Hill Lodge F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of S.J. and Crescent Temple. CAROLYN REDMILE of Medford, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown, NJ. She was 65 yrs. of age. Born in Wilmington, DE, she is the daughter of the late Henry S. and Marguerite Redmile and resided in Medford for 15 yrs. A retired Registered Dietitian with Sodexho Company in Allentown, PA, she was formerly with ARAMARC Corp in Philadelphia. She is an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Medford, NJ and loved the ocean and the beach. She is survived by her sister Mary Ann Steele of Lewis, DE, her brother Henry Remile of Allen, TX and her two nephews Douglas Steel of Ashburn, TX and David Steele of Baltimore, MD. Veronica A. Reed, age 90, formerly of Wildwood for 37 years, died at her home in Marlton, NJ on September 6, 2002. She was a former member of the Senior Citizens Club in North Wildwood. Beloved wife of the late John S. Reed. Loving mother of Veronica A. Walker of Marlton and Joseph Reed of Florida. Devoted grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 9. REED, Robert Franklin

Died peacefully on April 10, 2004 of Cherry Hill, formerly of Audubon. Age 83. Loving father of Robert R. Reed and his wife Margaret E. of Langhorne, PA. Dear grandfather of Ryan, Melissa, and Heather; and great grandfather of Faith and Arwen. Mr. Reed was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II and a charter member of the American Legion Post in Cherry Hill. He retired as a Service Writer from Winner Ford, Cherry Hill, where he worked for 45 years. Reed, Adella H.

Reed, Adella H., 91, of Dias Creek, NJ, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late William and Susan A. Jordan Hulme, and moved to this area in 1925. She was the longest surviving member of the Dias Creek Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a past president of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Cape May County Historical Society. She was a retired sales clerk for the W.T. Grant Company.

She is survived by her two sons: Jay W., Jr. and his wife, Marcia, and George L. and his wife, Patti; a daughter: Suzanne A. Herr and her husband, John, all of Dias Creek, NJ; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay William, Sr. in 1981.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will be in the Goshen Methodist cemetery, Goshen, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Dias Creek Methodist Church.

Reed, William (Bill) T.

William T. (BILL) Reed, born in Camden, lived in Cape May Court House, age 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn (Shaw) and his son Bill. His brother Ed of Cinnaminson, NJ and his sister Mary Glover of Ocean Breeze, Fl, survive him. He was loved by and surrounded by his nephew Ed Reed and his wife Sueann and their sons Pastor Douglas (Samantha), Pastor Donovan (Sarah) and Daniel. He also had many nieces and nephews who loved him. He worked his whole life at RCA where he was Director of International Customer Service for 44 years. He was a member of the Wildwood Moose and the Avalon Country Club. His great passion other than his family was golf. He lived to play it and was successful tournament player. He and his wife were avid dancers going to dance halls and even competing in dance competitions. He played baseball and basketball in the Camden Industrial Leagues for RCA. He was the Quarterback for the Cramer Hill Wildcats semipro football team.

Arrangements are through Radzieta Funeral Home in Cape May Court House and burial is private. There will be a Celebration of life at Avalon Country Club on Tuesday the 10th of November at 10:30 receiving, 11:30 service followed by a luncheon.
