Mary E. Glanz
Mary E. Glanz, 92, of Palmer Twp., died Saturday, August 23, 1997 in Easton Hospital.
Born October 11, 1904 in Bloomsbury, NJ., she was the daughter of the late George and Lydia Harrison Hummer.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her husband, William Glanz died in 1979.
She is survived by a niece, Mildred Piatt, with whom she resided.
A daughter, Mary Ellen, a sister Mabel Bontz and a brother, Howard Hummer all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Easton cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Robert F. Gluck
Robert F. Gluck, 60, of Warrenton, Virginia, formerly of Burlington, Vermont, died Friday, January 5, 2001 in his home.
He was a failure analyst for IBM in Burlington, Vermont for 17 years before retiring. He was currently employed in the same capacity for Dominion Semi-Conductor in Manassas, VA.
Born April 6, 1940 in Bridgewater, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Gluck.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include three daughters, Maryjane Gluck of Mt. Bethel, Pa., Linda Hoffman of Belvidere, NJ and Barbara Gargone of Easton, Pa.; two grandchildren; a companion, Catherine Fisher of Warrenton and a close friend, Richard Mills, also of Warrenton. Two sisters, Mary and Agnes died earlier.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2001 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Corona, Pastor of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church will officiate the services. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Saturday. Ada L. Grabinsky
Ada LaRue Grabinsky, 71, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
She was a waitress for many years working in the Manville, NJ area.
Born Saturday, January 14, 1928 in Bedford County, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Cleo Ellen Baker Teeter.
She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manville and attended St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late Edward Grabinsky died in March of 1966.
She is survived by five sons, Donald Teeter, Alvin "Butch", Larry and Jeffrey Grabinsky, all of Phillipsburg and Russell Grabinsky of Skillman, NJ; two daughters, Freda Schibel of Culleoka, Tennessee and Ramona Ford of Phillipsburg; a brother Clarence Teeter of Lilly, Pa and two sisters, Edna McIntosh and Gladys Miller both of Lilly, Pa.; nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Oren and Charles Teeter and three sisters, Bernice Kline, Cleo Arlene McIntosh and Dorothy Teeter all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 So. Main St., Phillipsburg. Rev. Vincent P. Chen will officiate the services. Calling hours will be held Friday (tonight) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 10:30 a.m. till time of services Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

James P. Graham
James P. Graham, 63, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 in the home of his niece, Donna M. DeBenedetto in Washington Twp., N.J.
He worked most of his life for the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, N.J. where was a child care supervisor.
Born January 11, 1942 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Lewis and Evelyn Pitney Graham.
James was very knowledgeable in world history, especially European and British history and challenged himself daily with the New York Times Crossword Puzzles.
In addition to his niece Donna, and many other nieces and nephews, he is survived by a sister Minnie Lewis of Lews, Delaware. He was pre-deceased by brothers Marvin, Leonard, William and Jack and sisters, Shirley Sleight, Viola Butler, Verna Search, Carolyn Fulper and Doris Antonacci.
Private cremation will take place and there will be no services. There will be a gathering of remembrance in the O'Donnell Apartments Community Room, 235 South Main St., Phillipsburg on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
Edgar W. Groff
Edgar W. Groff, 70, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, February 26, 1998 upon arrival at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg.
He was a machinist for Zappa Plastics, Phillipsburg for three years before retiring in 1993. He was also formerly a machinist with Johnson and Son Screw Factory in Belvidere, NJ for many years.
Born June 18, 1927 in Washington, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Stamets Groff.
He and his wife, the former Sandra B. De Santis observed their sixth wedding anniversary last October.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Edgar and Raymond, both of Atwater, Florida; two brothers, Thomas of Statesville, N.C. and Charles of Bangor; three sisters, Frances Wagner of Washington, NJ, Jennie Aber of Slatehill, NY and Eva Marie Musick of Oxford, NJ; three step-sons; David Lunger of Phillipsburg, John Lunger of Mt. Bethel and Robert Lunger of Allentown; four step-daughters, Diane Grodski and Patricia Hernandez, both of Marshalls Creek and Sandy Mucklin and Rose Fox, both of Bangor; and ten step-grandchildren. Three brothers, Robert, Earl and John all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held 10:00 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Hazel C. Groff
Hazel C. (Smith) Spargo Groff, 67, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000 in Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic, NJ.
She was a foster grandparent for the Hunterdon State School in Clinton for many years.
Born April 10, 1932 in Frankford, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Frances Buttle Smith.
She and her husband, Darwin Dewey Groff observed their nineteenth wedding anniversary November 10th.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lopatcong Twp.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Frances Spargo of Bristol, Tenn., Shirley Spargo of Phillipsburg and Betty Spargo; three sons, Harry Spargo of Phillipsburg, Jerry Spargo of Glen Gardner, NJ and Eddie Spargo of Flemington, NJ, a brother, James Smith of Florida and two sisters, Frances Smith of Florida and Ruth Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; a step-son, Michael Groff of Phillipsburg and a step-daughter, Brenda Koenig of Somerset, SC; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11th in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. The Rev. Allan Schaarschmidt, Pastor of the Church of the Blessed Hope of the Nazarene in Phillipsburg will officiate the services. Following the services, interment of the cremated remains will take place in the Bloomsbury cemetery in Bloomsbury, NJ.
Peter P. Gwaldis, Jr.
Peter P. Gwaldis, Jr., 89, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, formerly of Elizabeth, NJ, died Monday, October 8, 2001 in the Brakeley Center in Lopatcong Twp.
He was a machine designer for the Singer Sewing Machine Co., in Finderne, NJ for more than thirty years, retiring in 1969.
Born July 29, 1912 in Elizabeth NJ, he was the son of the late Peter P., Sr. and Amelia Gwaldis.
He graduated the Juilliard School of Music in New York and was a second-seat violinist in the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He was also a member of the American Federation of Musicians, Local 151 in Elizabeth, NJ.
His wife, the former Helen Lawrence died in 1958.
He is survived by five sons, Paul of New Brunswick, NJ, Robert of Carteret, NJ, Ronald of Seattle, WA, Allen of Palm Springs, CA and Peter, III of Houston, TX; two daughters, Marie Gallagher of Columbia, SC and Loretta Stiles of Palm Springs, CA; a brother Charles Gwaldo of Brick Twp., NJ, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers, John F. and James both died earlier.

Mary Ellen Gyorfi
Mary Ellen Gyorfi, 66, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 in her home.
Born August 6, 1941 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth Rennie Kline.
She retired from Warren Hospital where she worked in the kitchen.
Mary Ellen was devoted to her life to caring for her family, most especially her great-grandson, Michael.
Her husband, the late Louis Gyorfi died in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Louis George and Andrew Joseph, both of Phillipsburg; a brother, Thomas Kline of Phillipsburg; a sister, Betty Kline of Hellertown; three grandchildren, Latoya Hyde, Andrew Gyorfi and Latonya Lee; four great-grandchildren, Michael, George, Paide and Shane and a cousin, Jean Perio, who was like a sister to Mary Ellen.
Two brothers, John and Dennis died early, as did her sister, Patricia Trauger, who died August 23, 2007.
Services will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home. Private cremation will follow the services and interment of her cremated remains will be in the Alpha Presbyterian cemetery.

Elizabeth C. Hackman
Elizabeth C. Hackman, 87, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, November 1, 1998 in Warren Haven, Mansfield Twp., NJ.
Born August 22, 1911 in Allamuchy Twp., NJ, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Ruth Puffer Hansler.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Her husband, the late Frank H. Hackman died February 19, 1977.
She is survived by six sons, Ronald E. Mullikin of Ringoes, NJ, Donald R. Mullikin of Citrus Heights, Calif., Richard D. Mullikin of Rochester, New Hampshire, Burdette N. Mullikin of Phillipsburg, William Mullikin of Stewartsville and Chauncy Mullikin of Stockertown; three daughters, Elizabeth I. Tompkins of Rochester, NY, Dody A. Markle of New Village, NJ and Sarah J. Loebsack of Glendon, Pa; three sisters, Helen McCollun of La Mirada, Calif, Beulah Edgar of Lincroft, NJ and Ruth Dickerson of Mansfield Twp.; fifty (50) grandchildren, seventy-six (76) great grandchildren an five (5) great-great grandchildren. A son, Daniel F. Mullikin and a brother, Willard both died earlier.

Medith Hahn
Medith Hahn, 85, of Easton, died Friday, January 10, 2003 in Eastwood Convalescent Center, Wilson Borough.
She was a former floor lady at Morey-LaRue Laundry and a line worker with the Smiley Candy Co., both in Easton.
Born February 10, 1917 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Sadie (Riegel) Rasley.
She is survived by three sons, Calvin Hahn, Jr., of Meredith, New Hampshire, George Rasley of Palmer Township and Earl Hahn of Philadelphia; two daughters, Doris Fry of Plainfield Township and Joan Warnke of Bangor; sixteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Several brother and sisters died earlier. Her former husband, the late Calvin Hahn, Sr., died earlier.

Charles J. Harding
Charles J. Harding, 84, of the Care Center of Brakeley Park, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Monday June 2, 1998 in Warren Hospital.
He worked as a painter in the Turbo Division of Ingersoll-Rand in Phillipsburg for 30 years, retiring in December of 1976.
Born May 2, 1914 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late George and Catherine Holden Harding.
He was a technician, Fourth Grade in the Army during World War Two and was assigned to the 504th Medical Collecting Company. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Croix de Guerre ribbon and a Bronze Arrowhead Victory Medal.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Moyer and Kathryn H. Bosco.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bloomsbury cemetery.

Robert G. Haring, 66, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg.
He was a deliveryman for the former New York Italian Bakery in Phillipsburg for twenty-seven years.
Born March 17, 1936 in Wilson Borough, Pa., he was the son of the late Robert E., Jr. and Edna M. Boyer Haring.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Liberty Hose and Citizen's Hose Companies in Easton.
Survivers include a companion, Alice Carr Slater; a son, Robert J. or Forks Twp; two daughters, Debra Tucker-Frank of Pohatcong Twp., and Barbara Jean Haring of Phillipsburg; four brothers, Russell and Richard of Phillipsburg, Roger and Roy of Easton; a half-brother, Floyd Gray of Phillipsburg; three sisters, Louise and Veda Haring of Allentown and Loretta Zagra of Mountain Lake, N.J., and a half-sister, Lucille Hoffner of Alpha and four grandchildren, Edward, Briana, Jordan and Blake. A brother, Ronald died earlier.

Jo Ann M. Hartzell
Jo Ann M. Hartzell, 56, of Easton, died Friday, July 30, 1999 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro., PA.
She was a former executive secretary for Dixie Cup Corp., in Wilson Boro., and also worked at Tracy Elemetary School in Easton and Neff Laboratory in Stockertown and was last employed at in the Prothonatary's Office at Northampton County Court House.
Born November 14, 1942 in Easton, she was the daughter of Mary P. Taormina Aiello of Easton and the late Joseph F. Aiello.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and had attended the IBM School in Allentown.
She and her husband, Woodrow H. Hartzell observed their thirty-sixth wedding anniversary June 15th.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Rick H and a daughter, Renae M., both of Easton and a brother, Francis P. Aiello of Lopatcong Twp..
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 2, 1999 from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Chapel, 142 E. Nesquehoning St., Easton. Burial will be in Gethsemane cemetery , Palmer Twp.
