Porter, Earl W. Of Marlton, formerly of Woodbury, on April 13. Loving husband of Patricia (nee Piccari). Brother of John "Jack" R. (Gerry) of Wenonah, and Eleanor (John) Wolf of Westville, and nephew of Ralph D. Porter. Survived by many nieces & nephews, other family members, and pilot friends. Earl proudly served in the Marines Corps, and was an avid aviator, achieving the ratings of Commercial Pilot, Multi. Engine, Land & Sea, and Instrument. Porter, Sr., Herbert Robert
Herbert Robert Porter, Sr., 72, of Wildwood, NJ, died on Monday, September 15, 2003, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Dowell, MD, he has lived here since 1964 coming from Cape May Court House. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Construction Laborers Union Local 415 of Pleasantville, NJ. He retired in 1993 from Ogren Construction Company of Vineland, NJ.
He is survived by his wife: Sarah E.; son: Herbert, Jr., both of Wildwood; daughters: Vanessa Atkinson of Burleigh, NJ, and Paulette Simms of Denver, CO; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM. Interment is in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House.
Posey, John H.
John H. Posey, 83, of Cape May Court House, died on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jersey City to the late Harold and Maude Spencer Posey. He was a retired District Sales Manager of the Home News in New Brunswick. He moved here from Spotswood in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church; the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge of Wildwood; the Thurston Elmer Wood Post 198 of the American Legion and received the Distinguished Service Medal from serving in the United States Navy in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was stationed on the USS Dakota during World War II and the USS Twining during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria R. (Toms) Posey; two daughters, Diane M. Posey of Cape May Court House, and Margaret Anne Hilton and her husband, Dennis of Englishtown; and one grandson, Collin Hilton.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will follow in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
Posey, Gloria R.
Gloria R. Posey, 79, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, June 10, 2005, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ, after a long fight with cancer. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and moved here from Spotswood in 1985 with her late husband, John H., retiring from his workplace, the Home News of New Brunswick. He died June 16, 2004. She was retired from Great Eastern as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the Spotswood First Aid, American Legion, and the Immaculate Conception Church. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge of Wildwood.
She is survived by two daughters: Diane M. Posey of Cape May Court House, NJ and Margaret Anne Hilton and husband, Dennis, of Edison, NJ; a brother: William Toms and wife, Anne, of Helmetta, NJ; a grandson: Collin Hilton; four nephews: Michael (Valerie) Toms, Bill (Marybeth) Toms, David (Maryellen) Posey, and Bob Posey; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mass of Resurrection will be said on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call at 8:30 AM. Pote, Gary J.
Gary J. Pote, age 48, a former resident of Lower Township, NJ, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Ann Quinn Pote and the late Edward Pote. He lived in Lower Township most of his life and recently moved to Dorchester, NJ. He was manager of General Floor of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Gary enjoyed sports and was a prestigous member of the "Swainton Yacht Club". He also enjoyed spending time with his children and "The Boyz". Gary was a kind, selfless person who reached out to anyone in need whether they asked for help or not asking for nothing in return. He was a friend to many. His quick wit provided many hours of entertainment to those who knew and loved him. He was one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Ann; his children: Ryan, Joseph, and Rachel Pote; his mother: Ann Pote of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers: Gregory Pote, Martin Pote (Danielle) and Edward; his sisters: Geri Ehman (Matt), Mary Ann Winters (James), and Denise Paster (George); and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jenna, in August, 2009.

POTTER, ROSE (nee Salmon) age 84 years died on Tuesday at Care One at Evesham. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Philadelphia, PA, Lindenwold, NJ and North Brunswick, NJ before moving to Marlton in 1997. Rose was married
for over 50 years to her beloved husband the late Frank Potter and had three children the eldest daughter, Rose passed away in 2001. She was active in the Girl Scouts of American as a Troop Leader for numerous years and as a NJ artisan with her last focus on the art of eggery.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Richardson and son, Frank J. Potter, two grandchildren, Fred and Mark Stratton and ten great grandchildren.
Services for the relatives and friends of Mrs. Potter will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home, Route 73 and Evesham Road in Marlton on Saturday, September 13, 2003 from 3:30-5:00 PM. POULSON, Robert C. Suddenly on Aug. 26, 2009, after a battle with cancer. Of Woolwich, N.J. Age 39. Beloved son of William and Diane Poulson. Dear brother of Deborah Poulson. He was a 1988 graduate of Cherokee High School, 1992 graduate of Trenton State and 1995 graduate of Drexel University earning a Masters in Computer Science. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii, and was avid Phillies Fan. He will be sorely missed by his longtime card-playing friends. Robert E. Poulton July 29, 2009 Our Father was born on March 2, 1934 He leaves behind our Mom Helen, son Steven (Sandra) and daughters Donna Brosious and Robin (Robert) Lilly. Grandchildren Ryan, twins Tyler and Dylan, Patrick and Madeline. It's hard to describe the kind of man he was. As a husband the finest and father the best. As a grandfather the best cheerleader. As a man the greatest. We learned from our Dad to do the right things in life and he was always there for us. He was a beautiful carpenter and could fix anything. If you knew him you would understand the kind of man he was and how he impacted each person's life he met. Dad we wish you could have stayed longer here with us but the battle became to hard and it was time for your peace. We will all see you again. Powell, Beth
Beth Powell passed away peacefully on August 31, 2006 at the Victoria Manor with family by her side.
A native of Cape May County, Beth was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Powell of Cape May Court House.
Always a child at heart, Beth enjoyed receiving services of the ARC of Cape May County. She also made friends wherever she went. Beth loved to raft, go out for lunch, listen to music, play with animals and eat. She always thought of others and shared graciously of herself.
She is survived by her sister Judi (Bruce), brothers Jon (Heidi), Richard and Larry, sister in heart Sandy Powell, niece and nephews Angela Powell and Oliver and Jon Harvey, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
Family and friends will gather at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, at Radzieta Funeral Home with services at 1:30 p.m., followed by burial at Head of the River cemetery and light repast at Carmelle Restaurant at the Doctors Inn at 4 p.m. Those wishing to remember Beth, please consider the Employees Fund at Victoria Manor or the ARC of Cape May County.

ELWOOD "BUD" C. POWELL, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 19th, 2005 at the Virtua Rehab Center in Lumberton, NJ. Born in Pennsauken, NJ, he is the son of the late Chris & Mary Powell and resided in Marlton for 53 years before moving to Mt. Laurel, NJ. Bud was a proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII, having served in Company B, 35th Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Division under General Patton. He served at Omaha Beach, St. Lo, The Hedge Rows, Alsace Loraine, Metz, Nancy, The Battle of the Bulge, (Ardennes Forest), Bastogne and the Rhine Bridge at Remagen. He was awared four Bronze Battle Stars and the Purple Heart medal for being wounded in battle. He worked for the Campbell Soup Company, Camden, retiring after 42 years as a general foreman. He was a member of the Marlton United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 526. Bud is survived by his wife, Maryella (Nee Bakley), a son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Mary C. Powell of Southampton, NJ, two daughters and son-in-laws, Joyce and Gary Lewis of Richmond, VA, Diane and John Hope of Maryland; his sister Mary A. Mulharan of Marlton, NJ, his 2 brothers Raymond Powell of NC and Robert Powell of Medford, NJ, his former wife, Verna H. Powell of Marlton, three grandchildren Brian of Presidential Lakes, Nalon and Relana both of Virginia and one Great Grandchild, Kendal. Anne M. Powell, 79, of Sea Isle City, NJ, died on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at the Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. She was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late George L. and Anna M. Hagen Felix. Mrs. Powell was an active member of St. Joseph's RC Church here, having been involved in the Shut-In-Luncheon Program sponsored by the Church, and she and her late husband, Joseph, worked the festival celebrating St. Joseph's Day. She was involved in the fund raising for scholarships for the Little Flower Alumni and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by these children: Anne Marie Jobson (Douglas), Frank X. Powell (Nancy), Patricia Powell, Helen Tomlin, Robert F. Powell (Ann), Virginia Powell (Dale Jaeger), and Theresa Pino (Mark); two sisters: Helen Haffert and Mary Rakowski; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M., and a son, Joseph Michael.
The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, October 28, 2006, at 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph's RC Church, 4308 Landis Av., Sea Isle City, NJ, where friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Powell, Mildred Mcilvaine
Mildred McIlvaine Powell, 80, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, January 18, 2002, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital here. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and was a teacher and social services advocate in Cape May County and was majority owner and treasurer of the South Cape Nurisng Home which she and her late husband, Robert W. Powell established in 1963. She taught English and Spanish in the Middle Township and Wildwood schools before eastablishing a new special education class for mentally retarded youths in Middle Township. She was a past board president of the ARC of Cape May County and a member of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Board of Cape May County.
She was a graduate of Wilson College of Chambersburg, Pa. and received a Masters of Education from Glassboro State College.
Mildred is survived by five children: Judith Harvey of Lynchburg, VA, Beth Powell of North Cape May, Jonathan Powell of Cambridge, MA, Richard and Laurence Powell of Cape May Court House, NJ; three sisters: Lydia Magee of Moorestown, NJ; Georgiana Seddon of Tucson, AZ and Jane Hann of Marlton, NJ; three grandchildren: Oliver and Jon Harvey and Angela Powell; her daughters-in-law: Heidi Leugers and Sandy Powell; her son in law, Bruce Harvey; and a special niece, Cahterine Karsten of Cape May and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2002, at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House, NJ. Private interment will be at the Head of the River cemetery. Powell, Jeanette Mary
POWELL, Jeanette Mary (nee Rehrauer) went home to her Lord and her beloved husband Ernie on November 29, 2008. Born in Two Rivers, WI 85 years ago, she left the farm to follow her submarine sailor to California where their daughter was born. After the war, she and Ernie settled in Bellmawr, New Jersey, and had two sons. For the next sixty years, she created a warm and loving home, a place of talk and laughter and love. She was a devoted wife, a fostering mother and a dear friend. In addition to her daughter, Pat and her son in law Harris Dautle, her sons Ernie Jr. (Kathryn) and Tom Powell (Jack), she is survived by her sister, Dorry, brothers Harold (Ruth) and Kenneth Rehrauer and a niece and nephew. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Matt and Mike Dautle, Melanie (Dautle) Ulrich, Alaine Murray, Tara Gant, Katie Delarosa and Bill Powell and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Rosemary and John Buddendorf, Bill and Georgia Caruso and their son Dominic. A Memorial mass is planned for spring at St. Thomas More Church in Cherry Hill NJ. Inurnment Arlington National cemetery, Arlington VA. Also survived by his grandchildren, Maurice (Mark) Cameron, Edward J. Powell, III and Katie Marie Powell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Powell was a Veteran of the US ARMY. Priscilla M. Powers, 65, a former resident of Avalon, NJ for ten years, died on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at the Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division, Pomona, NJ. She was born in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Dominic and Vita Termine. She had lived in Audubon, NJ for twenty seven years prior to moving permanently to Avalon. She was a receptionist for HCM in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Mrs. Powers was a member of the Maris Stella Church in Avalon and the Holy Rosary Society there. She was also a member of the Garden Club of Avalon and Sea Isle City and various book clubs as she was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband: H. Guy; sons: H. Guy, III and his wife, Annette of Audubon, and Gary T. of Arlington, VA; daughter: Gail L. of West Deptford, NJ; brothers: Louis Kinkle of Sewell, NJ, William Kinkle of Pennsauken, NJ, and Al Kinkle of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters: Donemica Huber of Biloxi, MS and Frances Kinkle of Red Bank, NJ; and granddaughters: Terri and Danielle.

Frank Precopio age 75 of West Long Branch died Saturday March 8, at home.
He was a custodian for the West Long Branch Board of Education for 27 years retiring 10 years ago.
Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident of the area.
He was a member of the West Long Branch Sport Association.
