Picard, Margaret "Peg"
Margaret "Peg" Picard, 89, of Burleigh, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. Born in Chester, PA to the late Charles and Catherine (Rigney) Ottey, she had lived here for over 25 years after moving from Norristown, PA. She was a lab technician for Merck. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Picard is survived by her children, Peggy Bubnis and her husband, Gene of Harleysville, PA and North Cape May, Patricia Tossini of Deptford, Michael Picard of Collingswood, Kathleen Nelli and her husband, Vincenco of Sewell, and Susan Black of Fermandina Beach, FL; her seven grandchildren; and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael on December 4, 1994.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Piccirillo, Mary Trafficante
MARY TRAFFICANTE PICCIRILLO, 92, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday June 11, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was seamstress at Marjon Dress Co., Brooklyn, and a member of I.L.G.W.U. Local 89 before retiring in 1973. She was parishioner of St. Anselm's Church, Wayside, Ocean Township. She was a member of the Randolph Seniors. Born in Manhattan, she lived in Randolph and Brooklyn before moving to Oakhurst a month ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Piccirillo, in 1970. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean and Fred Urcinoli of Morganville, Marlboro, Lillian Piccirillo of Jackson, and Kathleen and Richard Despins of Oakhurst; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 8 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment will be in St. Anne's cemetery, Wall. On December 4, 2004. Of Cherry Hill. Age 79. Beloved husband of Esther (nee Granieri) Loving father of JoAnn Marshall and her husband Harold of Stratford, Anthony Piccolo and his wife Lisa of Laurel Springs, and Carl Piccolo and his wife Maria of Middletown. Devoted grandfather of Kristopher, Michael and Matthew. Dear brother of Teresa Trezza, Frank Piccolo and John Piccolo of Florida and Paula Miksinski of New York. Mr. Piccolo served in the 485th Bomb Squad of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in the Brooklyn and Philadelphia Naval Shipyards for a total of 43 years, retiring as a supervisor of the Quality Assurance Department. He also enjoyed golf, watching the Eagles and writing "Letters to the Editor" for the Courier Post. Hildegard Pierce, age 79 of Brick died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was a florist for Norwood Florist, Long Branch retiring in 1982. Born in Hanover, Germany, she came to the United States in 1951, living in Lakewood before moving to Brick 42 years ago.
Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Lester L. Pierce; her daughter, Anita Doyle of Barnegat; her son, Roland Gailis of Berkley; sons, Lester Pierce of Lincroft, Gary Pierce of Wayside, Wayne Pierce of Eatontown, and daughter, Anna Pierce of Atlantic Highlands; 2 sisters, Gertrude Weiss and Lilo Wagner, both of Toronto Canada; and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch. The funeral will be on Friday, 9:30 am at the funeral home with a service to begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch. Prior to retirement in 1982, Mr. Pierce was employed at RMP Ford for over 10 years.

PIETRZAK, HELEN, age 80, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lycoming County, Pa. and lived in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia prior to moving here fourteen years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Mrs. Pietrzak was a member of the Blind Center of the Jersey Cape; the Polish Beneficial Association and the Polish National Alliance. She is survived by her husband, Joseph S., two sons: Joseph R. of Philadelephia and Richard of Mount Dora, FL; four grandchildren: Jessica Powell and husband, Robert; Kathleen Pietrzak and her fiance, Bill Cooney, Jordan and Makenna Pietrzak and one great granddaughter: Kayla Rose Powell. Beloved and devoted husband of 59 years to Stella A. (nee Campese) of Cherry Hill; Also survived by his little girl, Patricia Lanzilotta and her husband, Joseph of Cinnaminson; PopPop to Christopher, Mario and Tara Marie Lanzilotta; Brother of Frank Pigliacelli, Theresa Amodeo and the late, Joseph Pigliacelli; Dear uncle of Catherine Mariano, Sam and Carol Pigliacelli, Nancy and Bob Sinclair, Susan and Pete Chimento, Albert and Karen Amodeo, Maryann and Joe Porter, Sammy Campese and Joann Dennis; Cousin of Dr. Michael and Dorothy DiMarcangelo, Denny and Janet DiRenzo and many other loving cousins.
During his career he was employed by Reitman Industries of Camden and Blackwood. He started at the age of 18 and he retired in 1986 at the age of 65. He continued as consultant for an additional 5 years. He was a Veteran serving his country in the Army from 1942 until honorably discharged in 1946 and receiving 4 Medals of Honor.

Pilert, Vernis M.
Vernis M. Pilert, 84, of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to this area in 1974. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, the Stone Harbor Seniors Club, where she was a past president, and a longtime volunteer at the hospital.
She is survived by her brothers, Lloyd E. Hammel of Linthicum Heights, MD, Harry W. Hammel of Rehobeth, DE, and Russell J. Hammel of Glen Burnie, MD.

Clara E. Pili, 89, of Sea Isle City, NJ, died on Saturday, November 9, 2002, at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and summered here for many years before moving permanently twenty five years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church here; a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was the 1990 Daughter of the Year Receipient. She was also a member of the Women's Civic Club. She was a hairdresser and later was an insurance broker and real estate agent. She was predeceased by her husbna, d Alphonso in 1985; two brothers: Frank and Pasquale Zampino and a sister, Albina R. Brother of James DiGiamarino and Lena Diano and her husband Andy. Also survived by his sister-in-law Mary Pilla and many nieces and nephews. Pillow, Lorraine E. Hennessey
Lorraine Evelyn Hennessey Pillow, age 80 of Long Branch died Friday, February 18, 2005 at Monmouth Medical Center, after a Short illness. Born in Newark she was a life long resident of the Shore Area. In her youth, she was a waitress at many of New Jersey's popular night spots receiving the nickname "Sweet Lorraine". Lorraine will be best remembered for her quick wit and flair for life. She lived a long and loving life, sharing a lifetime of memories with those she held closest. May we find peace, knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved daughter Jackie. She will be deeply missed by all who cared for her.

Rozalyn DelVecchio Pilone age 71 of Long Branch died Tuesday, February 3 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a receptionist at Park Beauty School before retiring. Born in Newark, she was a life resident of the shore area. Surviving is her husband, Leonard Pilone; a son, Jeffrey Pilone of West Long Branch; two brothers, Joseph DelVecchio of Little Falls and Anthony DelVecchio of PA and 2 granddaughters, Marissa and Cassandra.

Pingitore, Michelina "Mickey" Barone
Michelina "Mickey" Barone Pingitore age 87 of West Long Branch died Saturday November 13, 2004 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Center, Long Branch after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a secretary for the Long Branch Board of Education for 16 years before retiring in 1980. Mrs. Pingitore was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was a member and past president of the BPO Elk # 742, Ladies Auxiliary, Long Branch. Born in New York, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her kind and gentle spirit. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell A. Pingitore, who died in 1996.
Surviving are 2 daughters and a son in law, Carole Pingitore, Wanamassa; Patty and Jim Pappas, Oakhurst; a sister, Madeline Merola, Long Branch; a sister in law with whom she lived since 1943, Katherine Pingitore; 2 grandchildren, Jimmy and Andrea Pappas; her caregiver, Natia; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Pingitore, Joseph A.
Joseph A. Pingitore, age 66 of West Long Branch died Monday, September 27, 2004 at home. Born in Long Branch he was a long time resident of West Long Branch. He was a former employee and coach at Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch. As a young man, he was the Assistant Golf Pro at Old Orchard Country Club. He was an avid reader, enjoyed sports and loved the Jersey Shore.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph and Lorraine Pingitore, John and Lynn Pingitore, both of Ocean and Anthony Pingitore of West Long Branch; three grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Jr., and Lauren; and one brother, Anthony Pingitore of Hummelstown, PA.

Holly, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Robert & Patricia Scott, and is a lifelong resident of Southampton. She is a former Cafeteria Worker for the Medford Twp. B.O.E. where she worked for 5 yrs. She is the Beloved wife of Edward F. RALPH W. PINKERTON SR., passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at home in Southampton, NJ. He was 78 years of age. Born in Mantua, NJ, he has resided in Southampton his whole life. A retired Heavy Equipment Operator, he worked for the AC Allen Excavating Co. in Tabernacle for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the Air Force serving in WWII. He is the husband of Florence (Nee Bakely) Pinkerton, and the father of Edward F. Pinkerton of Southampton, NJ, Robert L. Pinkerton of Trenton, NJ and Janet M. Pinkerton of Hammongton, NJ. He is also survived by his many brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is the father of the recently departed Ralph Pinkerton Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ, 609-953-7600, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in the B.G. Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. PINTO, MICHAEL J., 80 of Delran, NJ, a retired educator and administrator, died January 23 peacefully at home. Mr. Pinto spent 33 yrs in the Camden City School District and he retired in 1985. He served 3 yrs in the US ARMY in WWII. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 yrs, Rita Pinto and 3 sons and a daughter. Michael, Jr. of Phila., Robert of Waterford Works, William of Delran and Janice DiGialleonardo of Stratford and 5 grandchildren. Also a brother Joseph Pinto of Ardmore, PA, and a sister Angela Ludwig of Phila., PA. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will be 11:00 Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
