ANTHONY JOSEPH PETRARCA, of Southampton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 76 yrs. of age. Born in Union City, NJ, he has resided in Leisuretowne for the past 5 years, after having lived in Willingboro for 30 years. He served in the Korean War and retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant serving as Sergeant Major. After the Army he had a second career with CVI, where he was the Food Service Director at Stockton State College and retired in 1990. He is the beloved Husband of Concetta M. (Nee Del Vecchio) Petrarca of Southampton and the Loving Father of Joseph A. Petrarca his wife Darlene of Hainesport, NJ, Angela N. Petrarca of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Candida C. Ponder and her husband Dale of Shamong, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Candida Pollina and her husband Phil of East Rutherford, NJ and his 5 Granddaughters; Tina, Tami, and Toni Petrarca, Candida Ponder and her fiancée Paul, and Angela Miller and her husband Brad, and his 2 Great Grandsons Vincent Anthony Ponder and Ryan Anthony Miller, and his very special friends Scooter and Harley. Eileen D. Petronis (nee McCloskey) age 68 years, of Merchantville, NJ, died on Saturdday, October 6, 2001 at Coopter Medical Center, Camden, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Petronis was a resident of Merchantville, NJ for several years. She was also an active parishioner of St. Stephen's Church in Pennsauken, NJ.
She was the wife of the late Matthew C. Petronis, Sr. She is survived by one daughter, Christine and her husband Joseph Nardello; two sons, Matthew C. Jr. and his wife Patricia and Robert J. and his wife Debra; four sisters, Mary McGowan, Rosemarie O'Toole, Sr Regina McCloskey OSF and Cecilia McGonigle; two brothers, John and James McCloskey; also survived by six grandchildren.

ALBERT R. PETTI, 78, of ALLENHURST, died yesterday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a self-employed builder. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Deal. Born in Newark, he lived in Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Allenhurst 30 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Rosati Petti; two daughters and a son-in-law, Michele Petti of Malverne, Pa., and Lisa and Michael Zeto of New Providence; two sisters, Elvira Gabriel of Newark, and Ann Alagna of West Orange; and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Robert and Sarah Zeto.

BRIONNA L. PETTIT, of HAMMONTON, NJ left this world on October 2, 2009. She was 6 yrs. of age. Born in Voorhees, NJ she lived in Hammonton for the past 2 years after spending the first 4 years of her life in Medford Lakes. She attended Crossroads Community Church and was a kindergarten student at the Early Childhood Education Center. Bri as she was affectionately known, was a great big sister and an inspiration to many. She came into this world as a survivor and left as a fighter. Bri lived her life to the fullest each moment of every day, and donated her organs to save others. She is the beloved daughter of Ryan and Rebecca Pettit, and big sister of Mikayla. She is survived by Maternal Grandparents Art and Debbie Stanchina of Outer Banks, NC, Paternal Grandparents John and Carla Morris of Shamong, NJ, and Great-Grandparents Dick and Moira Gassert of Shamong, Don and Jean Pettit of Medford and Great, Great-Grandmother Hazel Curtis of Derby, Ct. Book Keeper, Gladys worked for many years with the Burlington Clay & Engineering Co. in Burlington, NJ and also the Wedgewood Farms in Burlington. She and her late husband George C. Pfau, Gordon William
Gordon William Pfau, 86, of Sea Isle City, NJ, formerly of Aldan, PA, passed away June 1, 2004 at home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. Born in Linwood, PA, Gordon graduated from Girard College. He was honored with Girard College's distinguished Award of Merit.
With the outbreak of World War II, Gordon enlisted in the navy and served in the Naval Intelligence Service in the Pacific and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Returning home from the war, Gordon resumed his career as an investment banker joining Stroud and Company and then Prudential Bache in Philadelphia. Gordon served as President of the Municipal Bond Club of Philadelphia and formerly was a member of the Union League.
Various organizations benefited from his generous and dedicated civic service. As a Trustee of the Delaware County Community College, he was recognized as a distinguished member of the Foundation Board of Directors of the College. In Sea Isle City, he served as President of Chapter 710 AARP. A member of the Madonna Maria Council, Knights of Columbus, he received the Knights of Columbus Senior Citizen's May 2004 Award. Honored with the mayor's Award, City of Sea Isle, Gordon also was recognized by the Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women. He had served as a member of the School Board for St. Joseph's Regional School, Sea Isle City and a member of the Men of Malvern.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 62 years: T. Virginia (nee Chadwick) of Sea Isle City; daughter: Sr. Virginia M. Pfau, IHM of Monroe, MI; son: Dr. Richard G. (Mary) Pfau of Millersville, MD and their three children, Gabrielle, Joseph, and Nicholas; step-brother: Lawrence (Jean) Murray of Bridgeton, NJ; and a step-brother: Robert (Alice) Murray of Cape May Court House, NJ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Sea Isle City, on Thursday, June 3, 2004 with visitation from 10:00am to 11:30am. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will be in the Veterans cemetery of Cape May County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of IHM Ministry Fund, 610 W. Elm Av., Monroe, MI 48162-7909.

T. Virginia (nee Chadwick) Pfau, 88, of Sea Isle City, formerly of Aldan, Delaware Co., PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at her home.
Virginia was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Shellem Chadwick. She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon W. Pfau; a sister, Mary Chadwick Stone; and brothers, William Chadwick and Joseph Chadwick and is survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia Chadwick Bruder, Lawrence (Jeanne) Murray and Robert (Alice) Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by a daughter, Sister Virginia Pfau, IHM of Wilmington, DE; and a son, Richard (Mary) Pfau and family of Millersville, MD.
Virginia was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Sea Isle City Chapter of AARP and the Sea Isle City Historical Museum.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at the Veteran's cemetery of Cape May County. On October 2, 2009. Of Medford, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 79. Beloved husband of Catherine L. (nee Faggella) Also survived by his children Alice Nicola Pfister of Medford and Edward D. Pfister of Delran. Mr. Pfister worked for the Camden Board of Education for 40 years, serving as a teacher, vice principal in a number of schools in Camden, including Lanning Square Elementary School, Hatch Middle School and East Camden Middle School. He was a minister at First Baptist Church of Merchantville for 20 years, working under Dr. Sam Jeanes. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #119 in Merchantville. THEODORE PHILIPP passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 17th, 2004 at his home in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ. He was 71 yrs. of age. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he resided in Leisuretowne for the past 4 ½ years moving there from Willingboro, NJ. He is the son of the late Alexander & Anna Philipp and a retired member of the US Navy. George Walter Phillips, age 73 years of Swainton, NJ died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Wildwood, George was a lifetime Avalon resident living here in Swainton for the past three years. He was the Owner/Operator of Phillips' Exxon on Ocean Drive in Avalon, an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, enjoyed salt water fishing & boating and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Avalon.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dolores "Dee" nee Bryson, his son G. Christian Phillips of Northfield, NJ and his daughter Michele Warner and her husband Alex DeZayas of Plantation, FL.
Memorial service 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Avalon, 34th St. & Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ 08202. There is no calling time. Interment is private. Phipps, Maria T.
PHIPPS, Maria T. (nee Thompson), on August 24, 2008, of Marlton NJ. Age 83. She was born August 10, 1925 in Hartford CT and moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne, England in 1935. Maria served in the Women's Royal English Navy during WW II where she met a dashing young pilot and bombardier, 'Sir' Eric Phipps. They married
in 1946 and returned to the colonies shortly thereafter, relinquishing rights to the throne. They settled in the Barclay Farms section of Cherry Hill NJ where they raised four children. Maria worked as an Executive Secretary and was active in the PTA. She is survived by her children, Pamela Kohler, and her husband, David Kohler, Kenneth Phipps and his wife, Debbie Phipps, Michael Phipps and his wife, Julie Miller-Phipps and Kathleen Tyrrell and her husband, Richard Tyrrell and grandchildren, Jamie Miller and her husband, Andrew, Ashley Phipps, Amanda, Sean and Ryan Kohler, Jessica and Jaden Tyrrell, Vannessa Doherty and Julio Zapata and his wife, Erin. She is also survived by a great grandson, Brayden Doherty. Maria also leaves behind many dear friends at the Weston Club, Marlton where she has lived the past 6 years. PICA Jr., Dr. Louis. On September 30, 2009. Of Voorhees, NJ. Age 61. Beloved son of Emma and the late Louis Pica. Loving father of Todd and his wife Seta and Ashley Gorman and her husband Jason. Caring brother of Joseph and his wife Rhonda, Joanne and her husband Ed Zinski and Gary and his wife Susan. Devoted grandfather of Braxton, Brennan and Caitlin. Dear uncle of Joseph, Allie, Gary, Libby and Suzy. Dr. Pica earned his doctoral degree in education from Temple University and maintained a successful private practice in Haddonfield, NJ as a child psychologist for over 20 years. He made a remarkable difference in the lives of countless children and their families and was an inspiration to his son and daughter. He will be missed by many loving friends and family. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday Oct. 5 from 6-9 PM and Tuesday Oct.6 from 9-10 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ.
