Penska, Stanley

Stanley Penska, 82, of Swainton, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009 at his home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Stanley and Marianne (Podgornick) Penska, Sr., he moved from Philadelphia to Avalon in 1959 before moving to Swainton in 1972. He was the owner of the Avalon Anchorage Marina. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He enjoyed boats, cars, and the outdoors. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape May Court House.

Mr. Penska is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his daughters, Pamela Funk and Lauren Mendyk, both of Ocean View; his sons in law, Robert Funk and Anthony Mendyk; and his five grandchildren, Katherine, Diana, Chandler, Joshua, and Zachary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 101 South Main Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

PEPA-RAPANOTTI, Filomena “Phyllis” (Nee Carbone)

On 5/15/2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, of East Camden, NJ, age 70.

She is predeceased by husband, Nicholas Rapanotti, her parents, Mildred & Carmen Carbone and three brothers, Carmen, Joseph and Samuel Carbone.

Survived by her husband, Robert V. Pepa; sons, Nicholas (Lois) Rapanotti of Raleigh, NC & Michael (Yvette) Rapanotti of Maple Shade, NJ; daughters, Barbara Johnson of Collingswood, NJ, Lisa (Jim) Johnston of Lindenwold, NJ & Rebecca (Tom) McFadden of Franklinville, NJ. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Stephen, Nicholas, Zachary, Brian, Kimberly, Michael, Dominic, Vincent, Ryan, Deanna, Sara & Jessica; Uncle Arthur (Betty) Primavera of Florida, Aunt Mary Carbone, Sister Rosalie Fanelle, sister-in-law, Anne Carbone and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Also dear friend, Joseph Denardo.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Rd, Pennsauken, NJ 08109; where there will be a viewing from 9AM. Interment Calvary cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the church at the above address or mass cards.

Pepe, Bruce T.

BRUCE T. PEPE of Southampton, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 18th, 2005. He was 54 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, he resided in Southampton for the past 21 yrs. moving there from Mt. Laurel, NJ. A graduate of Pennsauken H.S. he worked for Fedway Associates in Mt. Laurel, NJ as a Truck Driver for 31 yrs until his retirement in this past March. In April he went back to work with Sussex Wine Merchants in Moorestown, NJ. Bruce is the Beloved Husband of Catherine (Nee Strojan) of Southampton, NJ, the loving Father of Matthew and Alison both at home and the dear son of Irish (Nee Taylor) Pepe of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ. He is also survived by his Sister, Colleen Palecki and her husband Joe of Chatsworth, NJ, his brother-in-laws Edward Strojan of Williamstown and Vincent Strojan of Greenwich Twp, his sister-in-law Maryann Sharkey of Medford, NJ and also 6 nices and nephews. Peppler, Henry C.

HENRY C. PEPPLER went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at his home in the Tricia Meadows section of Mt. Laurel, NJ. He was 81 years of age. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Caroline Peppler. He resided in Mt. Laurel for the past 20 years moving there from Marlton, NJ and was a retired Production Manager for the Continental Can Co in Baltimore, MD. He is the husband of the late Mary V. (Nee Blair) Peppler and the loving Father of Michael Peppler of Delmar, MD and Susan Stone of Tabernacle, NJ. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Jennine, Michael and Jose Peppler, Sarah Stone, Mark and Gregg Atz. Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. MARY "Virginia" PEPPLER (Nee Blair), went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 22nd, 2004 at her home in the Tricia Meadows Section of Mt. Laurel, NJ. She was 80 yrs. of age. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Blair of GA, he sister Janet Cobb of AL, and also 6 Grandchildren Jennine and Michael and Jose Peppler, Sarah Stone, and Mark and Greg Atz.. Perchin, Anna M.

Anna M. Manzi Perchin age 90 of West Long Branch died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch and its Rosary Altar Society. She loved to knit and crochet. She was very devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, George R. Perchin in 1996; her parents, Salvatore & Caroline Knight Manzi; her brothers, Phillip, Louis, John, Frank and Joseph Manzi and sisters, Carmella Melone, Grace Scialla and Rose Brockreide. She is survived by 5 daughters and 3 sons in law, Joan and Frank Campanella of Oceanport, Shirley Yourie of West Long Branch, Angela and William Dempster of West Long Branch, Carol and Ralph D'Antonio of Atlantic Highlands and JoAnne Anechiarico of West Long Branch; one sister in law, Josephine Manzi; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Frank and Carol Campanella, Anne and Julian Stinson, Carolyn and Howard Lazerson, Debbie and Anthony Perella, William Jr. and Gina Demspter, Kelly Dempster and Ralph Jr. and Melissa D'Antonio; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Peretti, Kathleen Ann Naylor

Kathleen Ann Naylor Peretti, age 48 of Oakhurst, died peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs Peretti passed at home, surrounded by the friends and family who had lovingly cared for her during her illness. A lifetime resident of the Shore, Mrs. Peretti served as an ESL and Bilingual elementary teacher for the Long Branch Public schools for the past 22 years. A graduate of Glassboro State College, her teaching career began in the Vineland Public schools, where she taught first grade. A very creative and caring teacher, Mrs Peretti was active in all aspects of the Elberon School. As a reading specialist, she organized the Visiting Authors program, the Sunshine club, and numerous creative arts and dramatic activities throughout the school year and the summer enrichment program.

"Kathy" loved gardening, "yard saling, " cooking, baking and most of all, the beach. She will be rememberd by all for her beautiful decorating and crafting skills. A dedicated wife and mother, who loved family gatherings, she was also very active at St. Anselm's chuch. She served as a religious education teacher for ll years, as a member of the Interfaith Hospitality Committee, and on various support groups at the church. Mrs. Peretti was also active with Cancer Concern, the Relay for Life, and the Jersey Shore Ovarian Cancer Support Group.

Born in Long Branch, she had lived in Oakhurst for the past 22 years. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Frances Naylor. Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Thomas L. Peretti; a son, Adam T. Peretti; a daughter, Sarah E. Peretti, both of Oakhurst; a brother, John Naylor, II of VA; and a sister, Jean Naylor of NJ.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third, Long Branch, on Friday, June 17, from 4 - 8 pm. The Funeral will be on Saturday at 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass at St Anselm's Church, Wayside. Entombment will be at Woodbine Mausoleum. Perez, Elizabeth Francisca

Elizabeth Francisca Perez, 7, of Wildwood, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Children's Hospital, Philadelphia. She was born in Cape May Court House and was in second grade at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Araann Maldonado; her father, Oscar Perez; her brothers, Jerald "J.J." Maldonado and Stanley Williams; her step grandfather, Raymond Rivera, husband of the late Elizabeth Barnes, of Manahawkin; her great aunt, Linda Taylor of Wildwood; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo. Perham, Kathleen T.

PERHAM, Kathleen T. (nee Lautenbacher, formerly Kathleen Wirth) lost her courageous battle with lung cancer on October 12, 2009, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Marlton. Age 62. Beloved wife of Douglas A. Perham. Loving mother of Mark T. Wirth and step mother of Douglas Perham Jr. (Christie) and Darlene Innocenzo (Jeffrey). Dear grandmother of 7 grandchildren. She is the daughter of Raymond G. and the late Katherine Lautenbacher and sister of Harry McGrath (Leslie), Mike, Jerry, the late Raymond (Kathleen) and John (Chris), the late Eileen, Diane, Janet and Mary Lautenbacher and Denise Walker (Dave). Kathy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perham was an airline attendant for TWA, worked at the St. Joan of Arc Rectory and was an Administrator for Lockheed Martin where she retired from last year. Perrelli, Sr., Ronald J.

Ronald J. Perrelli Sr., 68, of Vineland, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waterbury, CT and previously lived in North Wildwood before moving to Vineland four years ago. He was formerly employed by the City of North Wildwood. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Perrelli is survived by his wife, Carolyn H. Perrelli; his daughter, Teresa Morano and her husband, Eric of Cape May Court House; his sons, John J. Perrelli of Ocean City and Ronald J. Perrelli, Jr of Pennsylvania; his mother, Jennie Perrelli of Vineland; his sister, Joanne Perrelli of Vineland; his brother, John F. Perrelli of Vineland; and his cherished grandchildren, Meghan Morano and Sarah Morano. He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Perrelli and his brother, James M. Perrelli.

Anthony J. "Perdue" Perri, Jr. age 49 of Long Branch, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a machine operator, working for Coast, Fiore and E & L Paving Companies. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony Perri, Sr. in 2002. Loving grandfather of Frank, Justin, Amanda, Elysia and Alexa. Prior to retirement, Mr. Perry was employed as a printer for PCI in Pennsauken. He was also a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Person, John C.

John C. Person, 92, of Cape May Court House, NJ, a former longtime resident of Cape May, NJ, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in North Carolina and lived most of his life in Cape May County. He was a retired self employed landscaper. He previously was an inn owner; worked for the City of Cape May; and in the 1960's and 1970's performed many duties at the Wildwood Golf and Country Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Lessie in 1979. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2004, at 10:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Pesce, Girolamo (Jerry)

Girolamo (Jerry) Pesce, died suddenly on Sunday, January 24th. He was 27 days away from celebrating his 95th birthday. Jerry and his first wife, Elisa (Lee) Pesce, had owned a home in Avalon since 1966. They moved to Avalon, permanently, upon their retirements, in 1980. They enjoyed a wonderful social life there, with all of their many friends. They were members of the Avalon Yacht Club, the Avalon Seniors, the Avalon Volunteer Fire Association and the Stone Harbor American Legion. They were parishioners of the Maris Stella Roman Catholic Church. Lee predeceased Jerry in 1997. They had been married for over 50 years and, although they had no children of their own, they were beloved by their over 16 nieces and nephews. Jerry was married in October of 2002 to Nancy Dinella, owner of the Aquarius Motel in Wildwood. Nancy and Jerry spent their summers in Wildwood, where Jerry enjoyed his friends at the American Legion, and they spent the "off season" at their home in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Jerry was a loving husband, Uncle, Godfather and stepfather. He was a kind hearted man, a friend to one and all. He was a veteran of World War II and until, only recently, had attended WWII veterans reunions. He was beloved by all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. PETELER, Brian Owen

Suddenly on June 15, 2005, of Marlton, NJ. Age 47. Survived by the loves of his life; his wife Jeanne Marie (nee O'Donnell) and their son Brian Owen Peteler, Jr. Devoted son of Roland O. Peteler and Agnes Thelma (nee Lerud) Peteler of Schenectady, NY. Dear brother of Debra Georgatos (Eric) of Dallas, TX and Carol Peteler of Schenectady. Brian attended Cornell University and graduated from Syracuse University. He was a financial manager for New Market Power with plants in Camden, Newark Bay and Bayonne. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Phillies, Eagles and 76ers. He was formerly a Scout Leader in Marlton and a baseball, soccer and basketball coach for the Marlton Rec. Council. Letitia E. Peters, 81, of Cape May Court House, NJ and a former long time resident of Wildwood, NJ, died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2003, at the Lutheran Home at Ocean View, Ocean View, NJ.

She was born in West New York, NJ, and lived in Saddlebrook, NJ before moving to the Wildwood area. She was a faithful member of St. Ann's Church and was a member of the North Wildwood Moose Lodge.

She is survived by two sons: Ron and his wife, Gail, of North Wildwood, NJ, and Ray of Villas, NJ; two daughters: Maureen Gibson and her husband, Mark, of South Seaville, NJ, and Letty Fitzpatrick of Cape May Court House; a sister: Alva Carroll of Saddlebrook; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold in 1989 and her daughter, Diane V. Nelson in 2001.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, September 15, 2003, at 11:30 AM at St. Ann's RC Church, 2900 Atlantic Av., Wildwood, where friends may call at 10:30 AM. Interment in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Jersey Chapter, 11000 Lincoln Dr. West, Suite 7, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Peters, Sr., John J.

John J. Peters, Sr., 55, of West Wildwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia to the late Jonas Preston and Mary Agnes (Sissy) Buchannon Peters, he lived here for ten years after living in Woodbine for 12 years. He was a member of the South Jersey Motorcycle Association, past president of the Cape May County Archery Club, and secretary for 20 years of the East Creek Gunning Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding quads with his son, and painting and working on cars. He cherished his grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children, Aimee Peters of Somerdale, Jody Peters of West Wildwood, Jamie Peters of Sewell, April Peters of West Wildwood, and John Peters, Jr. of West Wildwood; his grandchildren, Kaisee Peters, Preston Peters, and Kailynne Peters, all of West Wildwood; his brothers, Christopher Peters of Pleasantville, Peter Peters of Philadelphia, and Stephen Peters of Villas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Guy Peters and his sister, Patricia Peters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring.

Peterson, Anne Maria

PETERSON, Anne Maria. (nee Zenobi) On November 20, 2007 of Honolulu Hawaii and Leisuretown, NJ. Age 78. Devoted wife of Bob K. Paterson. Loving mother of Edwin Phillips and Debra Broomall (nee Phillips). Dear sister of Frank Zenobi, Howard Zenobi, Joseph (Georgia) Zenobi, Rita (Bill) Connors, Teresa (Blaine) Reddick. Caring grandmother of Shachah, Kieran, Elijah, and Urijah. Anne will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Anne will always be remembered for her faithful service to the Lord Jesus Christ and her compassion for those that were suffering. She was a charitable member of the Assembly of God Church and an active choir member for over forty years. Anne was a 1948 Graduate of Collingswood High School and the Temple School of Dental Nursing. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Saturday December 1, 2007 at the Marlton Assembly of God Church, 625 E. Main St., Marlton NJ from 9:30-11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held 11 AM at the church. Interment will be private.
