O'Donnell, Miriam T.

Miriam T. O'Donnell, age 82, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born in Camden, NJ and lived in Haddonfield, NJ until she moved here in 1984.

Miriam attended Camden Catholic High School and attended Misericordia College in Dallas, Pa. and received her Master's Degree in English from Rutgers University and taught many years in the Camden County area.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Ann Linden and her husband, Wade of Westmont, NJ and a son, John (Jay) and his wife, Rosemary; four grandsons: Joe and Luke Linden and Erin and Ryan O'Donnell and three step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J., Sr. on April 20, 2007.

Funeral Litrugy will be said on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at 11 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and E. Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may visit from 10 to 11 am. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

O'Donnell, Marian

O'Donnell, on June 8, 2003, MARIAN T. (nee Burney). Age 72. Resident of Mt. Laurel, NJ for 36 years. Formerly of North Philadelphia. Marian was formerly a receptionist at Holman Enterprises in Maple Shade, NJ for 15 years. Loving mother of John T. of Magnolia, NJ, Michael T. of Mt. Laurel, Brian of Moorestown, NJ and Mary Kate Canal of Marlton, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, J.D., Kaitlin, Erin, Brendon, Ceili, and Cailin. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. O'Donnell, Kevin Edward

Kevin Edward O'Donnell, 48, of Northfield and Ocean City, died suddenly on November 17, 2007. Born in Yeadon, PA Kevin was a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 277 and worked for Cirignano Contracting for the last 20 years.

Kevin grew up in King of Prussia, PA. In his high school years he was a championship swimmer and has always loved surfing, fishing and golfing. More than anything Kevin loved his wife, Jennifer and his children, Ryan, Brandon and Lauren. He loved his family and is survived by his parents, Jack and Helen O'Donnell; his brothers and sisters, Shawn, Kathy Monroe, Maureen Monroe, Brian "Buzz", and Sharon Comer; his nieces, Kelly O'Donnell, Heather Monroe, Meghan O'Donnell, Brittany Camp, Molly O'Donnell, Shannon O'Donnell, Amy Kerr, and Sara Kerr; his nephews, Justin O'Donnell, Josh Monroe, Robin Camp, Sean Comer, Jake Comer, and Gregory Kerr; his brother in law, Stephen Kerr; and his mother in law, Sondra Cohen.

Kevin was one of the rare people that had a heart of gold and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He always had a smile on his face and always looked at the bright side of life. He was an excellent father, a great brother, and a devoted son. Kevin believed family was the most important thing in life and put his children before everything. He will always be remembered as a proud, caring father, son and brother and will be missed by all of us for ever.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 11 East Dawes Avenue in Somers Point, where friends and relatives can call after 11:00 a.m. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations can be made to the Children of Kevin O'Donnell College Fund.

O'Donnell, Jr., John T.

O'DONNELL, JOHN T. JR. on April 7, 2005 of Magnolia, NJ formerly of Mt. Laurel. Age 44. Beloved husband of Dawn K. (nee Davis). Dear step father of J.D. Winter. Loving brother of Brian & Michael O'Donnell and Mary Kate Canal. Devoted uncle of Kaitlin, Erin, Ceili, Cailin and Brendon. Also survived by numerous family members and friends. Prior to John's illness, he was a dedicated teacher for the past 13 years, the last year in Magnolia School District. He was a clown for Ringling Brothers Circus in 1985, loved the folk festival, playing guitar, writing songs and was an avid sports fan. O'Donnell, Sr., John J.

John J. O'Donnell, Sr., 81, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Hugh and Marie (Craig) O'Donnell, he had lived here for 23 years after moving from Haddonfield. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the American Legion of Stone Harbor, and AARP. He was a Fourth Degree in the Erma Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was part time code enforcement officer for Middle Township. He was the former owner of O'Donnell Pontiac Agency from 1955-1959. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

Mr. O'Donnell is survived by his wife, Miriam; his son, John "Jay" O'Donnell, Jr. and his wife, Rosemary of Waterford; his daughter, Terry Ann Linden and her husband, Wade of Haddon Township; his sister, Rita Maguire of Naples, FL; and seven grandchildren, Erin and Ryan O'Donnell, Luke and Joseph Linden, Colleen Gershengoren, and Kristy and Edward Szwartz.

Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. O'GRADY, Thomas J., Sr. on August 14, 2004, of Marlton, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 73. He is the beloved husband of 53 years of Teresa M. O'Grady (nee Maguire). Loving father of 2 daughters, Eileen Kain (Dennis) and Sharon Eisenmann and 3 sons, Thomas J. Jr (Mary), Kevin (Cloe) and Sean (Masae). Devoted grandfather of his cherished grandchildren, Conor & Christopher O'Grady, Kyle Eisenmann, Thomas & William Kain, Brian O'Grady, the late Evan O'Grady, William & Shannon Fulforth, Petty Officer Anthony Ludovici USCG. Also survived by 3 brothers, John, James & William O'Grady and 1 sister, Mary Glancy. He was employed with Conrail for 40 years retiring in 1990. While living in Philadelphia, Mr. O'Grady served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter & Paul. O'Halloran, Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth O'Halloran, 83, of Cape May Court House, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Loyalton of Cape May. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary (Sheldon) Wilson, she moved to this area in 1971 from Bellmawr. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, where she also was a cook for the priests. She was the activities director for Archway Medical Daycare in Burleigh. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hiberians and a past member of the American Legion.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann MacMurray of Seaville, Pat O'Halloran of Oceanside, CA, and Theresa Boehringer of Rio Grande; her sons, Joseph O'Halloran of Marietta, GA and Jack O'Halloran of Isle of Mann; her sister, Thelma McCarthy of Lansdowne, PA; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorial mass will be said on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private. O'HARA, Barbara A. (nee Bonetti) on September 12, 2008, of Mt. Laurel NJ, formerly of Monroe CT. Age 70. Beloved wife of John F. O'Hara. Loving mother of Dawn Marie Russell (Robert), Kathleen Murphy, Kevin John O'Hara and Shannon O'Hara (the late David Fox). O'Horo, John M.

JOHN M. O'HORO, 82, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Geraldine Thompson Nursing Home, Wall. He was an electrical engineer for Bell Laboratories, Holmdel, for 33 years, retiring in 1984. Mr. O'Horo was named 1986 Volunteer of the Year because of his 25 years dedication to the ARC of Monmouth County, where he served as president of the association for five years. He was also past president of the Califon Board of Education. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Born in Canton, N.Y., he lived in Califon before moving to West Long Branch in 1966.

He was predeceased by his wife, Frances M. O'Horo, in 2002. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Douglas J. and Holly O'Horo of Long Branch, Steven and Margaret O'Horo of West Long Branch, and Robert W. O'Horo of Wayside; and five grandchildren, Justin, Gregory, Kelly, Jacquelyn and Thomas.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Avenue) Long Branch. The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. O'Horo, Frances Mary

FRANCES MARY O'HORO, 82, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died yesterday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was active with the Arc of Monmouth County. Born in Orange, she lived in Califon before moving to West Long Branch 36 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, John M. O'Horo; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Douglas J. and Holly O'Horo of Long Branch, Steven M. and Margaret O'Horo of West Long Branch, and Robert W. O'Horo of Wayside; two sisters, Jean Wirth of New Hampshire, and Claire Cannon of Florida; and five grandchildren, Justin, Gregory, Kelly, Jacquelyn and Thomas.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Entombment will be in Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. O'Leary, Thelma R.

O'LEARY, Thelma R. (nee Rosenberger) of Marlton, formerly of Somerdale and West Milford NJ. Age 84. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. O'Leary. Loving mother of John D. O'Leary and his wife, Kathy C. of Somerdale & loving grandmother of John Daniel and Erin Julia O'Leary. She is the sister of the late Rev. Clarence Rosenberger and the late Pearl Hoffman. A 1941 graduate of Juniata College with a B.S. in Home Economics, Mrs. O'Leary was a dietician in Hahnemann Hospital, Phila and Mountainside Hospital, Montclair. After receiving her teaching certificate, she taught in Dover NJ and the Stratford School District. She was a member of the Greenville OH Church of the Brethren and an active 25 year volunteer with the American Red Cross and a volunteer with the Echelon Mall Ministry. O'Leary, Judith Ann Levi

Judith Ann Levi O'Leary, age 69 of New Orleans whose son lives in Monmouth Beach died Friday, August 27, 2004 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in New Orleans she moved to New Jersey 15 months ago.

She was predeceased by her husband I. Daniel O'Leary and a brother Irvine Levi, Jr. Surviving are two sons, Jeff Levi of New Orleans and Sidney P. Rossi of Monmouth Beach; a daughter, Donna Northrop of Brandon, Mississippi; a sister, Kathrine Pietri of New Orleans and 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, John, Gabrielle, Meredith, Kathryn, Knight and Katie.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 10:00 am at The Roman Catholic Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. There will be no visiting hours. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

O'Malley, James J.

JAMES J. O’MALLEY, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 25, 2002. He was 51 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he resided in Tabernacle, NJ for the past 17 years moving there from Upper Darby, PA. A CPA, Jim was the CFO for J.G. Wentworth and Geriatric & Medical Centers both in Phila., PA. In addition he previously worked for Phoenix Financial and Arthur Andersen. A graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Phila., PA he graduated in 1969 and then attended Penn State where he graduate Magnum Cum Laude in 1973 with a degree in Accounting. He is the past Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 54 in Tabernacle, NJ, past Treasurer for the Tabernacle Athletic Assoc. and a former member of the Holy Eucharist Financial Committee. He is the beloved husband of Donna R. (Nee Fowler) O’Malley of Tabernacle, NJ, and Loving Father of James J. of Phila., PA, Kevin P. and Timothy S. O’Malley both of Tabernacle, NJ. He is also survived by his siblings Charles & Ute O’Malley of Germany, Sarah Grande of Clifton Hgts, PA, Eleanor & Henry Livesay of Tampa, FL, Patricia & Anthony Lepping of Cape May, NJ, Rose & Don Schaefer of Secane, PA and Thomas & Maureen O’Malley of Clifton Hgts, PA and many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. O'Malley Sr., Dennis M.

On November 1, 2004 of Atco, formerly of Marlton, an accomplished servant of God went home at age 54.

Loving husband of Eva (nee Maliborsky) and awesome father of Cindy Pisano (Marc), Jennifer Fisher (Jaja), Dennis (Amy Parmer), Trish Massie (Scott), David, Ellen, and Kelly. Proud pop-pop of Blaise Fisher.

He is also survived by parents Anthony and Edith, formerly of Westmont, siblings Anthony, Michael, Eileen, Donald, Timothy, Kenneth, Anne and Steven, and countless other relatives.

His family, along with his brothers and sisters in Christ from Marlton Assembly of God, rejoice in his heavenly homecoming.

He faithfully served God through many ministries including evangelism, healing rooms, and music. In addition, he traveled to spread God's word worldwide as part of the missions' construction A-Team. This was an extension of his 30+ year service as an electrician for Local Union 98 IBEW of Philadelphia.

O'Neill, George M.

O'NEILL, George M. on December 26, 2006, of Voorhees NJ. Age 66. Beloved husband of Michelina J. O'Neill (nee Bonetto). Loving father of Joseph A. and his wife, Mary Jane of Jersey City NJ, Jeffrey T. and his wife, Margy of Glenside PA and Timothy P. of Los Angeles CA. Dear grandfather of Patrick, Matthew and Molly. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul, Vincent, Richard, Jane, Isabel and Rita. A veteran of the US NAVY, Mr. O'Neill worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, General Electric and most recently, as president of Wm. M. Hendrickson, Inc. in Phila. O'Neill, Jr., Edward John

Edward John O'Neill, Jr., 78, of Wildwood Crest, NJ died on Friday, August 12, 2005 after a long illness. He was a member of the Cape May Congregation of Jehovah Witness. He attended Roman Catholic High School, Philadelphia. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was a well known electrical contractor with O'Neill Electric Company in Wildwood Crest and was an active participant in his community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence (nee Huber) and two brothers, Eugene and Robert. He is survived by his son, Keith Edward O'Neill of Wildwood Crest; his daughter, Karen Heacks of Palm Harbor, FL; his brother, Richard O'Neill; his two sisters, Claire Cardamone and Frances Leininger of PA; his four grandchildren, Jared Timins, Adam Heacks, Kyle and Ciara O'Neill.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company #1, Rambler Road and Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260, where in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent or to the Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210. O'REILLY, Margaret R. "Peg" (nee Roach)

On January 17, 2008. Of Mt Laurel, NJ. Age 51. Beloved wife of Neal P. Loving mother of Meghan K. of New York, Patrick A. and Kyle T., both at home. Devoted daughter of Audrey and Thomas Roach, Jr. of New Paltz, NY. Dear sister of Jane Winters (John), Thomas Roach, III (Nancy), Brian Roach (Brenda), Kathleen Kenslea (Neal) and Marybeth Grasso (Joe). Sister-in-Law of Daniel and Thomas O'Reilly. Also survived by 15 loving nieces and nephews. Margaret completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University and her Masters in Art Therapy at George Washington University. Suddenly on August 24, 2006. Of Voorhees. Age 52. Beloved wife of Charles T. O'Shea. Loving mother of Bethany, Valerie and Douglas all of Voorhees. Dear sister of Lawrence Lang (Karen) of W. Deptford, the late Dennis (Emily) of Sicklerville, Kathleen Hubler (William) of Deptford, and Lorraine Ryan of Magnolia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Patricia received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Sciences in Phila and was recently employed at Holy Rosary Church in Cherry Hill, where she was a very active parishioner. OAGARO, Mary (nee Mongelluzzo)

On Novebmer 6, 2006. Of Marlton. Age 79. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Ralph Oagaro. Loving mother of Celeste D'Alonzo (Ronald) of Marlton and Joseph R. Oagaro, Jr. (Joanne) of Williamstown. Devoted grandmother of Camille D'Alonzo, Joseph Oagaro, Philip D'Alonzo and Christine Oagaro. Mrs. Oagaro was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by her siblings Margaret Newton, Emmett Mongelluzzo and Stephanie McCarthy. Mrs. Oagaro worked at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City for many years, and previously worked for the Franklin Mint. She was a member of the Evesham Senior Citizens and the St Joan of Arc Senior Citizens. Oat, William Alfred

William Alfred Oat, 82, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away Wednesday morning, December 4, 2002 after complications from an extended illness.

Born in Philadelphia, he moved with his young family to Levittown, PA. Spending his summers in Avalon, NJ, he and his wife, Jayne retired to Cape May Court House in 1984.

Bill graduated from Frankford High School and toured the East Coast with the Betty Hart Band, playing his trumpet and falling in love with the featured singer, Jayne Lee. His country called for his service and he was sent to become a World War II veteran. He was a Staff Sergeant with the famous 36th Infantry in the North Africa campaign and moved with the 8th Army into Italy. After the war, he toured Europe with the US Army Band.

After the Army, he had offers to play with some famous bands of that era, but instead married that featured singer, Jayne Leonore Gorrell and started a family. He owned a Sunoco gas station, worked for Allied Chemical Corp. and finished his career as a county carpenter for Bucks County Public Works. His love of music and playing the trumpet was his life-long hobby. He played and arranged for many years in a Doylestown, PA based big band called The Sideliners.

Mr. Oat was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the following: Tacony Lodge No. 600, F&A.M., Crescent Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Burlington, NJ, and Scottish Rite Bodies in The Valley of Trenton, Lodge Council Chapter Consistory.

His beloved wife, Jayne, his three children, and his six grandchildren survive Mr. Oat. His eldest son, Bill of Cape May, NJ, grandchildren, Rian, Bill, Christen, and daughter-in-law, Patty; daughter, Leslie of Swampscott, MA, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, and son-in-law Michael; and son, David of Rehobeth, DE, and grandson, David, and daughter-in-law, Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave, Cape May Court House, NJ, 609-465-7458. Burial will be at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the Oat family's wishes are for memorial donations be given to the Middle Township Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 331, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
