Norton, Peter Thomas

Peter Thomas Norton, 39, was born and raised in Enfield, England. He moved to New Jersey twelve years ago. Pete was a loving father, son, partner, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loved football played well, especially by his team Arsenal, and he recently became an avid golfer. Pete had the ability to make anyone laugh to put them at ease. He was a hard-working, wonderful, lovely man.

He is survived by his greatest love, daughter Sophia Grace; his partner, Shannon King; his parents, Jean and Dave Norton; his sister, Andrea Norton and her four sons, his nephews Tom, George, Elliot, and Louis; his aunts, uncles, and cousins; his extended family in the US; and his many and adored friends from England and New Jersey.

Services for Peter will be held at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 beginning with a viewing from 10:00 am-11:30 am. Funeral service to follow at 11:30.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sophia King Norton's college fund.

Noschese, Vito John "Victor"

Vito John "Victor" Noschese, age 62, died Thursday April 28, 2005 in Osage Beach, MO. He was a 1961 graduate of Bayshore High School, Long Island and attended Valley Forge College. He worked for the Monmouth County Highway Department for 30 years, retiring 2 years ago as District Supervisor. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Shrewsbury. Born in Bayshore Long Island, he was raised in Brooklyn, and lived in West Long Branch before moving to Eatontown 28 years ago.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Florence McElmon Noschese, a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Ashley Noschese, Wayne, two daughters and a son-in-law; Sherry and Michael Forlenza, Toms River and Elizabeth Noschese, Delran and three grandchildren; Emma, Mark and Nicholas.

Relatives and friends may call at the First Assembly of God Church, 220 Sycamore Ave, Shrewsbury on Monday evening May 2, 2005 from 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Church Tuesday morning at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch. Damiano Funeral Home, is in charge of the arrangements.

NOVACUSKIE, Leon E.

Suddenly on January 25, 2004 of Marlton. Age 72. Beloved companion of Lois E. Sees. Loving father of Donna, Linda, Ann Marie, Sandra, John, David, Sandra, Deborah, Michele, Andrew and Suzanne. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 2 sisters Pauline Grembowicz of New Port Richey, FL and Julia Stepanek of Sunbury, PA. Leon was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He retired as an Engineer from Schaevitz Engineering in Pennsauken and in his retirement worked part time at K-Mart in Marlton. He was also a member of St Joan of Arc Church in Marlton. Novasack, Leo

Leo Novasack, age 86, of South Seaville, NJ and Boynton Beach, FL, died on February 15, 2008. He was born in Risley, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Romanyzyn) Novasack.

Leo and his brother, Walter, were in a successful partnership for sixty years, owning and working the Novasack Brothers Farms and Turf Farm in South Seaville, NJ. Upon retirement, the land was put into farm preservation to the State of New Jersey and is presently operated as a turf farm.

He was the devoted husband of Laura J. (Idzik) of thirty nine years. He is also survived by his brother, Walter and his wife, Alma, of South Seaville, NJ; these nieces and nephews: Dr. George (Nancy) Novasack; Dr. Frank Novasack; Maria (Kenneth) Basche; Frank Hoff; Pauline Baldwin and Noreen Goslee; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Josephine Novasack and Anna Hoff; two brothers: Frank and Edward Novasack; a nephew: Edward Hoff and a grandnephew: Andrew Baldwin.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 4308 Landis Av., Sea Isle City, NJ, where friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Nowak, Mark R.

MARK R. NOWAK of Haddonfield, NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 22nd, 2007 at the Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. He was 52 yrs. of age. Born in Bethesda, MD, he has resided in Haddonfield for the past 20 yrs. A graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Marketing, Mark is the President of Smart Computer Techs in Haddonfield, NJ. He is the Beloved son of Viola Nowak of Whiting, NJ. He is also survived by the love of his life of Nancy L. Tomaselli of Cherry Hill, NJ, his brother Kenneth Nowak of Mystic Island, NJ, his sisters Kathleen Chafey of Maidens, VA and Carolyn Bateman of Kittery, ME and also his 3 Nieces and 1 Nephew. He is the son of the late Harry A. Nowak. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church, 700 W. Nowland, Harry H.

Harry H. Nowland age72 of Long Branch died Monday, July 21 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a professional sign artist for Mc Lain Studio's Asbury Park for 35 years retiring in 1998. He was also a part time handyman who could repair anything. He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. Born in Neptune, he had lived in Asbury Park. He is predeceased by a brother Clifford A. Nowland, 3 sisters, Elsie Pagionia, Betty Ianniciella, and Ruth Corcione. Surviving are a sister in law, Ruth Nowland, his long time friends, Kathryn Beech, Andy Margolis, Harold Bennett, Al Sanderson, and Mr. and Mrs. Mc Lain with whom he worked. Nulty, George P.

GEORGE P. NULTY, of Medford, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 66 yrs. of age. Born in Somerville, NJ, he has resided in Medford for the past 30 years. He graduated from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ in 1964, and enlisted in the Navy where he served as an officer aboard the USS America. After a 30 year career with Campbell Soup in Camden, where he was a corporate officer, President of Campbell's Fresh and VP of Purchasing, George retired as VP of Int'l Relations. Following his retirement from Campbell's, George went back to work as CEO of J.M. Swank in North Liberty, Iowa. He later became Sr. VP of Purchasing for ConAgra in Omaha, NE and retired in 2007. He is the beloved Husband of Maureen E. (Nee Sullivan) Nulty of Medford and the Loving Father of Sean P. Nulty and his companion Jeanne DaSilva of Levittown, PA, Erin E. Nulty and her husband Art Mangano of Westmont, NJ, Megan E. Martinez and her husband Jason of Cherry Hill, NJ and Caitlin E. Nulty of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters, Sister Margaret Nulty of Lakewood, NJ, Marion Keefe (Richard) of Bay Head, NJ and Kathleen Culley (Frank) of Point Pleasant, NJ and his Grandchildren Caitlin, Michael and Grayson Martinez and Marcella Mangano and his sister-in-law Audrey Farrell of Macungie, PA and also many nieces and nephews. NUMAIR, John George

Age 89 of Voorhees, NJ, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Old Bridge, NJ., died Monday July 9, 2007. Born in New York City, he served in the 1st Marine Division and fought in the battle for Guadalcanal, where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. He was employed as a stevedore as a member of the International Longshoreman's Association in NY/NJ. Upon retirement in 1975, he moved to Florida where he lived until last year. He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (nee Atwater), his brothers Solomon and George, his daughter Maureen Davis and his grandson Michael Davis. Surviving are his sons, Buddy of Barnegat, and Jon (Nancy) of Voorhees, his sisters Mary Fisher of Massapequa, NY, Suzanne Yunis of Acworth, GA and Lila Numair of Del Ray Beach, FL, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nunno, Paul A.

Nunno, on December 11, 2002, Paul A. of Maple Shade. Age 94. Husband of the late Mary (nee Casmento). He is survived by his son Michael and his wife Carol (nee Bednarz) of Marlton, and his sister Lucille Blume of New York. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Michael and his wife Leigh and Kathryn and her husband Travis Nelson. Mr. Nunno was an employee of Citibank for 35 years. He was an avid member of the Masonic Fraternity for 65 years, achieving the title of Grand Master of Ceremonies of the state of New York. He was a very active member of St. Mark’s Church in Queens, New York, and St. Bartholomew’s Church in Cherry Hill. Recently Mr. Nunno volunteered at Cooper hospital for 11 years until he was 93. But he always remained a very proud father and grandfather. Nuss, Gwendolyn L.

Gwendolyn L. Nuss, 97, of Wildwood Crest, passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 3, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia, she had lived most of her life in Wildwood Crest.

Mrs. Nuss was married to John J. Nuss, who was co-owner of Lea and Nuss Oil Company. Mrs. Nuss was active in the Cape May Animal Welfare and the Wildwood Rotary Club. She is survived by her great niece, Regina Hickman of Port Washington, NY. Funeral services will be private.

O'BARR, on August 28, 2003, Robert W. of Burlington County NJ, formerly of Cheltenham PA. Age 81. Beloved husband of the late Dorothea A. O'Barr (nee Doyle). Loving father of Cindy A. He is a retired Truck Driver for Novick Brothers in Phila. where he worked for 11 yrs until retiring in 1976. He is also a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. O'Brien, Esther B.

Esther B. O'Brien age 86 of Eatontown died Tuesday May 6, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Elizabeth, she had lived in Monmouth Beach before coming to Eatontown in 1970. She was a devoted and loving mother to her family and her grand dog Devon. She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Peter O'Brien in 1964.

She is survived by a son John O'Brien, West Long Branch, 3 daughters, Sharon O'Brien-Fagnano, Eatontown, Patricia B. Kinsaul, Toms River, Barbara Vales, Long Branch, 5 grandchildren, Christine P. Kinsaul, Timothy and Christopher O'Brien, Patricia Trochia, Anthony Vales and 3 great grandchildren.

At the family requests all services will be private. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

O'Brien, Pearl T.

Pearl T. O'Brien (nee McFarland), 83, went home to be with the Lord September 6, 2003. Born in Freeland, PA, she formerly resided in North Wildwood, NJ, and was a recent resident of Hazleton, PA. She was retired from the Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company of New York. She was a professional seamstress for many years.

Wife of the late William J. Beloved mother of Patricia Lloyd-Supplee and her husband Joseph, and Judith Ladd and her husband William. Survived by 7 granchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her life celebration Thursday, September 11, 2003 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robert McNulty Funeral Home in Freeland, PA. Interment will be private. O'Brien, Joseph Francis

Joseph Francis O'Brien, age 81 of Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, formerly of West Long Branch, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He served his country honorably with the US Army during WWII. He was a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in physics. Additionally he returned to Brookdale Community College where he earned an associate degree in computer science. He worked as a Physicist at RCA for 10 years prior to working at research and development at Fort Monmouth for over 20 years retiring January 31, 1993. During that time he and a colleague invented and received a patent for the wristwatch radio. He was a parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church, West End, a member of the Holy Name Society and a Eucharistic minister at Seabrook Village. Born in New York he lived in West Long Branch for 40 years prior to moving to Tinton Falls in 1999.

He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Rita M. O'Brien in 1997.

He is survived by his son Joseph F. O'Brien, III, NJ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Hassan Lajmoraki, VA, Mary and William Podhirny, IA; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, (corner of Third), Long Branch. Funeral will be on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Michael's RC Church, West End at 10 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

JANET HELEN O'CONNELL (Nee Palmer), of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the age of 70. Born on Staten Island, NY, she is a graduate of Tottenville H.S. on Staten Island and moved to Birchwood Lakes in Medford in 1970. She was a part time teller for Farmers & Mechanics Bank and recently enjoyed being a school bus aide for Laurel Enterprises. Beloved wife of 48 yrs. of Lawrence M. O'Connell and loving mother of Patricia A. Diemer and her husband Mark of Wildwood, MO, Lawrence M. O'Connell of Southampton, NJ, Susan C. Walton and her husband Mick of Picney, MI. and Katherine E. Crain and her husband Greg of Tabernacle, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Gerry Morganthaler, her 9 Grandchildren Kathleen, Melissa, Mark, Patrick, and Joseph Diemer, Michael and Bryan Walton and Stephen and Jessica Maser. She is the sister of the late James Palmer. She was a good friend of Bill W. for 12 years. O'CONNOR, JIM, on October 15, 2009. Born Aug. 14, 1928 in New York, NY. Beloved husband of Ellin. Loving father of Christine (Sean), Guy (Heike) and Meghan (Rick). Cherished grandfather to Robert "Chip" Macy. Also survived by sisters, Edith Lallier and Jane LeRoux, , many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Predeceased by parents James and Edith O'Connor and brother John. Jim grew up in NYC, moving to South Jersey in 1955. He was the General Manager of the Cherry Hill Inn and Lodge for over 30 years. Jim also managed the Rickshaw Inn, was a member of the Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce, Director of Purchasing and Property for NJ, assisted the negotiation to move the Giants to the Meadowlands, founder of the Custard Hut in Brant Beach, LBI, NJ. Jim's wonderful, caring for people, led him to sponsor 2 refugee families in the 1970ss and the 1990s. John L. O'Dea, 64, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 14, 1939, the son of the late Lawrence A. and Helen C. Sadleir O'Dea. He lived here since 1976 when he moved from Los Angeles, CA. He was a graduate of LaSalle High School and Villanova University with a degree in accounting. He was a certified public accountant for the Atlantic Richfield Company. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and had served in the United States Army National Guard.

John had served on the Middle Township Board of Education; was a proprietory member of the Stone Harbor Yacht Club; the Knights of Columbus; he was an avid card player and a member of the Friday Nite Poker Club and enjoyed swimming and held the one and only membership at the Radzieta Swim Club which he founded.

John was afflicted with Muliple Sclerosis and his physical body suffered for many years; however, he did not let the affliction interfere with his desire to be with his many friends and share his sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Gail (nee Stack) O'Dea; his two devoted sons: Sean T. and especially Patrick, who devoted much of his time caring for his Dad; a sister, Maryellen E. Doyle and her husband, Terry, who was John's personal swimming trainer of Lafayette Hills, Pa; a brother, Lawrence A., Jr. and his wife, Kathy of West Chester, Pa.; his granddaughter who loved her "Poppy" very much, Erin P. O'Dea; Erin's mother, Debbie and her husband, Patrick Greene; nine nieces and nephews and a community of friends.

The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, E. Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call 11 am. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will be private in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring. Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be made to the John L. O'Dea Fund for Special Students, c/o Middle Township Elementary School #1, 215 Eldredge Rd., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. This is a fund established to aid needy students in Middle Township.

O'Donnell, Mary Ellen

O'DONNELL, MARY ELLEN (nee Anderson), passed away peacefully in her home on March 8, 2007 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Charles J. O'Donnell, Sr. Loving mother of Charles J. O'Donnell, Jr. and his wife Donna, and Brendan P. O'Donnell. Grandmother of Michael and Catherine. Also survived by her sisters and brothers: Catherine Stone, Dolores Alba, Carlene Jordan, Carl, Albert, James and Robert Anderson, and Helen Romeo. Predeceased by her brother Harry Anderson. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:15-9:15 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Kresson-Gibbsboro Rd., Gibbsboro, NJ. Burial will follow at New St. Mary's cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in Mary Ellen's name to: Fox Chase Cancer Center, Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Room C-223, Philadelphia, PA 19111. "Proud Mary fought the good fight. Let her strength be an inspiration for all."
