Nieddu, Anne M.
ANNE WRIGHT NIEDDU, 83, of LONG BRANCH, died on Saturday, April 17, at Jackson Health Care Center in Jackson. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of BPOE, Long Branch Lodge 742. Born in Scotland, she lived in Keansburg and Newark before coming to Long Branch in 1957.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Frank J. Nieddu; two daughters, Diane Borden-Yaworski and her husband, William Yaworski, of Bordentown, and Linda Nieddu of Howell; a sister, Jean Murphy, of Atlantic Highlands; three grandchildren, Scott Borden, Kevin Borden and Debra Rabatie; three great-granchildren, Ethan, Luke and Shane.
Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, corner of Third Avenue in Long Branch, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday. Nielsen, Niel H.
NIEL H. NIELSEN, age 69, passed away quietly surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. Born in NY, NY, he is the son of the late Carl & Ludmilla Nielsen and resided in Shamong, NJ for the past 18 yrs. moving here from Woxall, PA. A retired Field Mgr. for RCA Service Company in Flushing & Brooklyn, NY, he retired in 1988 after 29 yrs. with the company. He is a member of the RCA Retirement Club in NY and the RCA Nipper Club in NJ and is also a Veteran of the US Army. Niel is the beloved husband of Frances (Nee Rosenberg) of Shamong, NJ and the loving father of Niel M. of Valley Bend, WV and Vincent Jens and his wife Lori of Hatfield, PA. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jens & Brenda Nielsen of Queens, NY and his Grandchildren Joshua, Zachary and Casey. He is the father of the late Richard Nielsen. Niland, Margaret C., 91, of Avalon, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in the Georgetown section of Washington D.C. to the late Patrick B. and Eileen M. (Hayes) Byrne, she moved here in 1983 from Washington D.C. A former employee of the Department of the Navy, she was a member of Maris Stella Church in Avalon.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Eileen Wayne Stein and her husband, Bud of Avalon; her brother, Joseph Byrne of Chesapeake Beach, MD; her granddaughter, A. Eileen Wayne of Brooklyn, NY; and many devoted nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Chapel, 25th Street and First Avenue, Avalon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

John Preis Nitchie, age 37, of Keyport died Tuesday August 14, 2007 at home. John was an air craft mechanic for Lakehurst Naval Air Station, Lakehurst. He was a graduate of Middletown North High School and Teterboro School of Aeronautics. Born in Summit, he lived in Sarasota, Fla. and Middletown before moving to Keyport 2 years ago. John is survived by his mother and her husband, Edie and Paul Skerl, Ocean, and his maternal grandmother, Irmgard Preis, Bridgewater.

Carl was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was employed as a pressman for the Philadelphia Inquirer for over 30 years. Nodzak, Aileen "Irish"
Aileen Connolly Nodzak, better knows at "Irish", 80 of Long Branch died September 11, 2006 at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. Born in Montclair, she attended Immaculate Conception Schools. She was the first meter maid in the state of New Jersey. Aileen was also Secretary for her husbands companies, Essex Window and West Essex Maintenance, which he owned and operated for over 60 years. She went on to live in Brick before moving to Long Branch 9 years ago.
She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Irish was an animal lover, as well as her husband, especially dogs. They had five poodles. Aileen was predeceased by her husband Stephen on July 9, 1997; her parents, Thomas and Winifred Cummings Connolly; and two sisters, Dorothy Gaurducci and Veronica McGurk. She is survived by two sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Leeming and Kathleen Cameron, both of Lakehurst; a brother, Thomas Connolly of FL; three children, Joseph, Donna and Karen; 7 grandsons; several great grandsons; one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be on Friday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Noel, Marie R.
Marie Rose Patrick Noel, 84, of Wildwood, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 4, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA to her parents, George and Willamae Patrick. She was raised and educated in the Philadelphia Public School system. She moved to Wildwood, NJ at the age of 35, where she met and married
her late husband, Frank Noel. There were no children from this union.
In 1954, she joined the Eastern Star and served faithfully until her death. She was a lifetime member. She has a very long and notable history with the Eastern Star. She worked over 50 years as a domestic in the City of Wildwood. In 1997, she retired from the Wildwood Housing Authority where she had worked for 14 years as a cook.
She leaves to mourn three sisters, Vera Allen of Camden, Odessa Gay of Philadelphia, PA, and Betty Crymes of Camden; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eureka Baptist Church, 142 West Spencer Avenue, Wildwood, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in John Wesley United Methodist cemetery, Swainton.
Noel, Ann
Ann (Bradbrook) Noel, 79, of York, died at 10:25 p.m., Sunday, October 7, 2001, at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Noel.
The service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12th, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. The viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Noel was born January 27, 1922, in Evenwood, England. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Sarah Elizabeth (Purvis) Bradbrook.
Mrs. Noel was a homemaker. She served in the British Women’s Auxiliary Territorial Service during World War II. She enjoyed reading and knitting.
Mrs. Noel is also survived by a daughter, Diane K. Miller of York; two grandchildren; a brother, Fred Bradbrook of Australia; two sisters, Edith Taylor and Lily Carter both of England; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Noel was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Shepherd.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Thomas D. Bellis.

NOGAMI, CALVIN MITSURU, on November 27, 2006 of Marlton. Age 79. Beloved husband of Kiyomi Nogami for 41 years. Devoted father of Arthur J. Nogami of Marlton and Christine M. Nogami-Engime and her husband Theodore E. of Medford. Loving grandfather of Noah, Jacob and Elizabeth Engime. Dear brother of Hisaye Takashima and her husband Tom, Toshiko Reckner and her husband the late Denny, Herbert Nogami and the late Tom & Ben Nogami & Bette Robinson. Also survived by sisters in law Irene & Heather Nogami and many loving nieces & nephews. Mr. Nogami attended Topaz High School in Utah and graduated from Temple University High School in PA. He was a United States Army Veteran and served as a medical aid man at Fort Myer, VA. He was employed at RCA for 19 years as a Technician. Clyda E. Nolan, 71, of Swainton, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Linwood Care Center. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Clyde and Lucille (Perkins) Brown, she lived here for the last 20 years after living many years in Cape May. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
Mrs. Nolan is survived by her son, David Clarke; her daughter, Lisa Hearon; her sister, Mildred LaRue; her grandchildren, Jamie, Devyn, and Paige; and her great grandson, Daniel.

NORA M. WORTH WARDEN, 80, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died yesterday at home. She was a registered nurse at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank, for 35 years. For 30 of those years she was head nurse and retired in 1976. She was a parishioner of St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. She was a member of the Hibernians. Born in South Toms River, she lived in Toms River before moving to West Long Branch in 1947.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Warden, in 1983; her parents, Ira and Julia O'Keeffe Worth; four brothers, Melvin, John, Leon and Hugh Worth; and a sister, Mary Byrnes. Surviving are Margaret and Thomas Dennehy, with whom she lived; three nieces and their husbands, Karen and Thomas Gough of Beachwood, Elizabeth and Don D'Addario of Manchester, and Mary "Cookie" Worth of Boston; a nephew, James Hugh Worth of Bedford, Mass.; a brother-in-law, John Douglas Byrnes of Toms River; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norbury, Dorothy M.
Dorothy M. Norbury, 65, of Green Creek, died Friday at her home. She was born in Philadelphia and lived here for the past 45 years. Sher was a retired sales person for the Silen's Shoe and Resortwear Store in Wildwood. She was an active member of the Green Creek Community Church having served as a president of the Women's Society. She was a volunteer at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Rodney H.; a daughter: Carol L. DiDonato and her husband, Robert, of Dennisville; a son: Kenneth E. and his wife, Janet, of Tuckahoe; two sisters: Ruth Rainey of Lower Twp., and Catherine Boerner of Mays Landing; grandchildren: Scott and Alison DiDonato and Kyle, Mark, and Lauren Norbury. Services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at 12:00 noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Norbury, Lucy May
Lucy May Norbury, 91, formerly of Cape May Court House, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Palm Beach, FL. She was born in Dias Creek, to the late Redmond and Effie Norton Stiles. She was a former faithful member and Sunday School Teacher of the Cape May Court House Baptist Church. She was graduate of the Middle Township High School and the Glassboro Normal School. She taught school in Dennisville, Goshen, and Avalon Schools. She also had been a bookkeeper for the Burleigh Lumber Company. She was a member of the Wildwood Golf and Country Club and a former member of the Ballen Isle of J.D.M.C.C. of Palm Beach Gardens.
She is survived by her two sons; Leslie A. and his wife, Mary of Cape May Court House, and Donald and his wife, Marie of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren, Linda Norbury, Ruth Ann Roman, Donna Riley, Heather Norbury, and Donald Norbury, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Bethany, Joshua and Victoria Kell, and Nicholas and Joelle Roman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester H. Norbury on July 7, 1987.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Funeral services will be private. Nordaby, Edwin L.
Edwin L. Nordaby, age 71, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on March 31, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Camden, NJ to the late Edwin R. and Mary (Behm) Nordaby and lived in Deptford before moving here seven years ago. He was a member of Teamsters Local 676 of Philadelphia and volunteered at the Performing Arts Center in Middle Township after retiring.
He is survived by two sons, James of Deptford, and Malcolm of Colorado Springs, CO; his companion and friend, Marion J. of Cape May Court House, NJ, his sister Shirley of Cape May Court House; his two brothers, Russell of Westville, and William of Woodbury; eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his good friends, Johanna and Dennis of Cherry Hill.

Norman, Edward B.
Edward B. Norman, 74, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late George W. and Alice Catherine Kline Norman and was a resident here for twenty years.
He was a retired police officer in Upper Darby, PA and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Delaware County and State of Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire Police Association; a life member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was a member of the Cape May County String Band and loved to play his banjo with the Band and enjoyed boating and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of over twenty nine years, Thelma; a daughter: Catherine (Peter) Kasinecz of Pottsville, Pa.; two sons: Edward (Virginia) of Daytona Beach, FL and George (Suzanne) of Woodlyn, Pa.; six grandchildren: Michael, Patrick, Sarah, Amy, Jennifer and Peter and his cat, Purr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
