Grace M. Frinzi
Grace M. Frinzi, 88, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 in the Lopatcong Center.
Born July 10, 1915 in Readington, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Pasqual "Patsy" and Calorgia "Katie" Maglio Parino.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, and was a former member of the Holy Cross Society, Easton.
Grace and her husband, John Frinzi, Jr., observed their sixty-seventh wedding anniversary September 26th, 2003.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard J. of Lopatcong Twp.; a daughter, Marie Gallenger of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Mary Yocco of Racine, Wisconsin and Angelina Schempri of Phillipsburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A brother, Joseph Parino died earlier.
Services will begin 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. in the church, 426 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery , Greenwich Twp., N.J. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Lena Frinzi
Lena Frinzi, 82, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, January 18, 1995 in the Care Center of Brakeley, Lopatcong Township, N.J.
She was a retired garment worker for the former A&H Sportswear, Easton, for many years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker's Union.
Born May 5, 1912 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Maria (Turdo) Frinzi.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Survivors include three brothers, Charles J. and Samuel A., both of Lopatcong Township, and Michael J. of Phillipsburg and several nieces and nephews. A sister Nina and a brother Thomas J. both died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 10:15 a.m. Saturday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery , Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions to the church in her name.
Michael J. Frinzi, Jr. "Duke"
Michael J. "Duke" Frinzi, Jr., 76, of Pohatcong Township, died Sunday, February 12, 2006 upon arrival at Warren Hospital.
Duke graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1947 and served as president of his junior and senior classes and was active in several sports including football, wrestling and softball. He then attended Perkiomen Prep School in Pennsburg, Pa. and graduated from Gettysburg College in 1954 where he majored in Economics and minored in History and Spanish and served as president of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He also completed courses at both Lehigh University and Trenton State College.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
After completing his education and returning from military service, Duke served as a life-long educator and administrator at several area schools beginning as a social studies teacher at the Greenwich Township Elementary School. He then became the administrator of the Lopatcong Township Schools and the Pohatcong Township Elementary School from 1963 until his retirement in 1989. Following his retirement, he served as interim administrator for the Oxford Township Elementary Schools and Alpha Borough Pubic School and as interim Assistant Superintendent of the Phillipsburg School District. Duke was instrumental in establishing the Accelerated Readers Program at the Alpha Public School.
Born November 25, 1929 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Michael J., Sr., and Jennie Merlo Frinzi.
He was a member and daily communicant of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Alpha. He was a member of the Phillipsburg Chapter of the A.A.R.P. and served as vice president, the board of directors and was on the program committee. He was a member of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators. He was a past president of the Pohatcong Playgound Association. Social memberships included the Y.M.I.A. of Phillipsburg and several other area social clubs, but he was most proud to be a founding member of the "O.F.C.".
More than his professional and social accomplishments, Duke valued the time he spent with his family and friends, including many years of trips to Canada each Memorial Day weekend, traveling across the country and beyond and perpetuating family togetherness all brought Duke great happiness.
Duke and his wife, the former June E. Bisco celebrated their fifty-third wedding anniversary June 28, 2005.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael J. III of Hoboken, N.J., Richard D. of Lower Mount Bethel Township and John and his wife Margo of Phillipsburg; three grandchildren, Ricky, Danielle and Samuel Frinzi.
He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Dominic M. "Mickey" Frinzi and Anthony Frinzi, a sister, Grace Carlotz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 850 Fifth Avenue, Alpha. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James cemetery , Greenwich Twp. The family will receive friends at the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm.
The family asks those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy to make a donation to the Michael J. Frinzi, Jr. Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to Phillipsburg High School students who pursue teaching careers. Donations may be sent in care of the funeral home.
Norma E. Frinzi
Norma E. Frinzi, 77, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, October 21, 2004 in SCCI Hospital, Wilson Borough.
She was a former seamstress for various mills, including Strongwear in Easton and T & T Sportswear of Phillipsburg.
Born November 18, 1926 in Venice, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Italia Morassutti Nardo.
She was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Norma and her husband, Anthony J. Frinzi observed their fifty-seventh wedding anniversary June 7th.
She was a past president of the Bernadine-May American Legion Post, Ladies Auxiliary, Phillipsburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sandra Arndt of Lopatcong Twp.; a brother, Ray Nardo of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Mary Hedges of Mt. Pocono and Louise Flexer of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and three granddaughters.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Olga E. Frinzi
Olga E. Frinzi, 92, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, August 11, 2006 in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, PA.
Olga was a former ward clerk at Warren Hospital for more than twenty years, retiring in 1980.
Born February 22, 1914 in Caspian, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Catherine Stefani Meggiolaro.
She was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. She was a charter member of the former Firth School P.T.A., a former member of the Heckman House Social Club, a past member of the Phillipsburg Elks Ladies Auxillary and the Italian American Pleasure Club, all in Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late Charles D. Frinzi died in 1960.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte R. Frinzi of Lehighton and Barbara J. Mussell and her husband, Christopher of Ewing Twp., N.J.; six grandchildren, Colin Frinzi and his wife Lisa, Christa Frinzi, Cheryl Domzalski and her husband Dave, Catherine Frinzi and her partner Bonnie Spayd, Jason Mussell and his wife Kelly Gajewski and Adam Mussell; three great-grandsons, Addison Frinzi, Keegan Davis and Colin Matthew Domzalski and two great-granddaughters, Brittany Frinzi and Delaney Davis. A son, Dominic L. "Mickey" Frinzi and a brother, John "Red" Meggiolaro both died earlier.

Rose M. (Todaro) Frinzi
Rose M. Frinzi, 92, of Lopatcong Twp., died Saturday, February 22, 2003 in Warren Hospital.
Born December 27, 1910 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Josephine Rumore Todaro.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late Charles J. Frinzi died in 1995.
She is survived by a sister, Josephine A. Todaro of Phillipsburg. Five brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Samuel, George and John and a sister, Marie Presto all died earlier.

Samuel A. Frinzi
Samuel A. Frinzi, 76, of Lopatcong Twp., died Monday, April 2, 2001 in Warren Hospital.
Sam was a barber and co-owner of the Modern Barber Shop on South Main St., Phillipsburg since August of 1955. He previously worked as a toll collector for the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission in Phillipsburg for nine year and at J.T. Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg.
Born May 24, 1924 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Matthew and Maria Turdo Frinzi.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, where he also a member of the Holy Name Society and the Over Fifties Club of the Church.
He was a Private First Class in the Army during World War Two and was assigned to the Medical Corp. He was in Central Europe and Rhineland, and was awarded the American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War Two Victory Medal.
He was a member of the Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1942.
He was a member of the Phillipsburg Chapter of the A.A.R.P.
His wife, the former Sara C. Mugavero died in 1995.
He is survived by a son, Matthew of Bethlehem Twp., Pa.; two daughters, LuAnne Bonney of Lopatcong Twp., and Mary Jo Kovacs of Bethlehem Twp., Pa.; a brother, Michael J. of Greenwich Twp. and eight grandchildren. Two brothers, Thomas J. and Charles J. and two sisters, Lena and Nina Frinzi all died earlier.

Thomas J. Frinzi
Thomas J. Frinzi, 77, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, December 22, 1994 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
He owned and operated the Main Barbershop in Phillipsburg for more than 60 years and also was a barber at Warren Haven, Mansfield Township.
Born July 13, 1917 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Matthew and Maria (Turdo) Frinzi.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, as well as the Holy Name Society and Over 50's Club of the church.
He was the husband of Marie (Esposito) Frinzi. They were married
44 years in September.
He was well known throughout the Phillipsburg-Easton area as a musician playing the mandolin and guitar with the Frinzi Brothers Quartet and Entertainment Group, having performed many years.
He was a a member of the Barber's Board of New Jersey for more than nine years, having been appointed by former Gov. Robert Meyner.
He was a member of the UNICO Club, the YMIA and was a charter member of the Phillipsburg Lions Club, all of Phillipsburg; the Warren County Serra Club, the Phillipsburg Chapter of the A.A.R.P., the Easton Moose Lodge, the Citizen's Hose, the Order of Flea's and the Young Republican Club, all of Easton; the Andrew A. O'Dor V.F.W. Post 9308 of Phillipsburg and the John Dolak American Legion Post 446 of Alpha.
He was a private first class in the Army during World War II and served with Headquarters Company, 8th Infantry Division. He received four Bronze Star medals for service during the battles of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew A. of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Thomas G. of Newport Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Rosina M. Pignotti of Forks Township; three brothers, Michael J. of Phillipsburg, and Charles J. and Samuel A., both of Lopatcong Township; a sister, Lena of Lopatcong Township, and three grandchildren. A sister Nina died in 1991.

Thomas J. Fucci, 42, of St. George, Utah, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, July 29, 1998 in his home.
He was a self-employed mason and operated Antiono Fucci and Sons Construction.
Born January 29, 1956 in Phillipsburg he is the son of Antonio and Patricia Deemer Fucci, Sr. of Phillipsburg.
He previously attended the Washington Assembly Church of God in Washington, NJ.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Crystal of NC, and Rainbow of Easton; three brothers, William, Stephen and Raymond, all of Phillipsburg; and a companion, Debbie, of St. George, Utah. A brother, Antonio, Jr. and a sister, Mary Ann both died earlier.

Dorothy Fuller
Dorothy Fuller, 90, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, January 30, 2000 in Warren Hospital.
She was a retired seamstress and had worked at the former Standard Silk Mill in Phillipsburg many years ago.
Born February 1, 1909 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Grace Boscia Frinzi.
She was a member the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg.
She was a member of the Heckman House Social Club.
Her husband, the late Glenn Fuller died Wednesday, February 28, 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Dukett of Washington, Pa; a sister Mary Zamataro of Easton; two brothers, Charles and John Frinzi of Phillipsburg and two grandchildren. Four sisters, Jennie Frinzi, Josephine DeThomas, Rose Polcari and Pearl Ritz and three brothers, Anthony, Joseph and Salvatore Frinzi all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Rev. David M. Preisendanz, pastor of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church will be the officiant for the services. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Wednesday. Private cremation will be held and burial of the cremated remains will take place in the Fairmount cemetery , Phillipsburg.

Glenn Fuller
Glenn Fuller, 80, of the Heckman House, Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, February 28, 1996 in the Care Center of Phillipsburg.
He was a custodian for the Phillipsburg School District, retiring in 1979.
Born May 3, 1915 in Pen Argyl, he was the son of the late Wesley and Rose Mutton Fuller.
He was a member of the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg. He was also a member of the Heckman House Tenant Association.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Frinzi; one step-daughter, Shirley Ann Dukett, Washington, PA; one brother, Charles W.G. Fuller of Vero Beach, Fla and two grandchildren. A brother Edgar and a sister Amelia Fuller Rinker both died earlier.

Elizabeth Galanti
Elizabeth Galanti, 88, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, January 14, 2000 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
She was a former sewing machine operator and had worked for various area mills.
Born November 14, 1911 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Bubba Bock.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg and its Over-Fifties Club.
Her husband, the late Earl O. Galanti, proprietor of Earl's Barber Shop on Center Street in Phillipsburg from 1952 to 1975, died May 6, 1978.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Dauphin of Mission Viejo, CA and Mary Ann DeRea of Mt. Bethel, Pa., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Guy and Arthur Bock and three sisters, Rose Bubba, Mary Butto and Anna Tolotta all died earlier.
