Moore, Wendeline

Moore, Wendeline, 84, formerly of Swainton, died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 in Medford.

Miss Moore retired as a Senior Trust Officer of Philadelphia National Bank. She was the first woman in Cape May County to be certified as an airplane pilot. During World War II she volunteered as an enemy plane spotter from a tower in Swainton. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Cape May Court House. Her many activities included traveling, sailing, and playing the piano and organ in churches and retirement homes. Wendie will be remembered for her devout faith, her benevolence, and her exuberant love of life.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Clarence and Charles Moore. She is survived by her nieces, Margaret Gruff, of Cape May Court House, Dorothy Gowan of Arizona, and Wendy Eastman of Washington.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview cemetery in Cape May Court House. Funeral arrangements are provided by Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1 Church Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Moore, James A.

MOORE, James A. "It's all about family." Of Mays Landing, formerly of Medford, NJ. Age 75. Loving husband of Eleanor Moore (nee Meyn). Devoted father to Jim Moore and his wife Kimee of Medford and Chris Chessell and her husband Stuart of England. Caring grandfather to PJ Moore, Will Chessell and Hayden Chessell. Dear brother to Cecil Moore. James was a pharmaceutical salesman in the South Jersey area for many years. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, playing and watching football, but most of all he will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for telling jokes. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 10:30-11:00 on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd. in Marlton, NJ. A service will be held Friday at 11AM at the Bradley Funeral Home. Interment Odd Fellows cemetery, Medford. Relatives and Friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 8:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Moore, Blake H.

Blake H. Moore, 81, of Cape May Court House, died on Monday, November 18, 2002 at his home. He was born in Whitesville, NC and moved here in 1937. He was a member of Highway of Holiness Church in Whitesboro and was a deacon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Ottie; his sons, Clarence of Princeton, Blake B., Jeffrey, and Joseph, all of Cape May Court House; his daughters, Shirley Brown of Burleigh, Sharon Price and Karen Thompson, both of Whitesboro; his sisters in law Blanche Godwin of Burleigh, and Joyce Moore of Kissimmee, FL; 28 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Elwood H. Moore on August 6, 2002.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Gospel Church, George and Anna Streets, Whitesboro, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist cemetery, Swainton. Memorial donations may be made to Highway of Holiness Church, 108 Fishborn Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Moore, Estella

Estella Moore, 83, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at the Court House Convalescent Center. She was born in Whiteville, NC, the daughter of the late Boyd and Lula Moore. She was a resident here for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at the Cape May County VoTech School. She was a retired practical nurse having worked at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and South Cape Nursing Home. She is survived by these children: Jeannie Barlow, Franklin Moore, and LaDrene Greer; seven granchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dally Moore on May 3, 1980. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005, at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro where relatives and friends may call at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. There will be no final viewing after the services.

Moore, Nicole Theresa

Nicole Theresa Moore, age 17 of Wanamassa, died Tuesday August 1, 2006.

Nicole was a senior at Ocean Township High School, a varsity basketball cheerleader, attended the Monmouth County Law Enforcement Academy, in Freehold and Captain of the Ocean Township Police Explorers. She was also a communicant of St. Michael's RC Church, West End. Born in Red Bank she lived in Sea Bright prior to moving to Wanamassa 8 years ago.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather; William S. Moore in 2004, her maternal grandfather; Joseph P. Murphy in 1974 and her aunt; Theresa Moore in 1975.

Surviving are parents, William and Carol Moore, 2 sisters; Erica and Samantha, her maternal grandmother; Marie Murphy, Lakewood, her paternal grandmother; Loretta Moore, Brick, and three aunts; Kathleen Johansen, CA, Sharon Jones, FL and Lynn Alegre, Brick.

Visitation will be Friday, August 4 from 2 to 8 PM at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:30 AM at St. Michael's RC Church, West End. Entombment will follow at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. In liew of flowers, donations may be made to The Township of Ocean Police Explorers, Attn: John Green, 399 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.

Moore, Sr., Dennis F.

Dennis F. Moore, Sr., 85, of Goshen, died on Friday, September 15, 2006 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Millville to the late James and Marietta (Mills) Moore, Sr., he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a former chief of the Goshen Fire Department and was a life member of the Cape May County Fireman's Association. He was also a member of the VFW Post in Belleplain.

Mr. Moore is survived by his children, James Moore of Cape May Court House, Janet Seitz of Dias Creek, Marie Johnson of Korea, and Dennis F. Moore, Jr. of Goshen; his sister, Ellamina Moore of Petersburg; his 12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. Moore on March 8, 1987 and his son, Robert E. Moore, Sr. on October 22, 2001.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Goshen Methodist cemetery.

Moore, Sr., Frederick E.

Frederick E. Moore, Sr., age 81, of Burleigh, NJ, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. He was born in Millville, NJ, and lived most of his life in Cape May County, where he built many homes.

He served in the Merchant Marines and the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1000 of Trenton, NJ, and was an avid golfer and a former member of the Wildwood Golf & County Club.

He is survived by his wife of twenty seven years, Sarah Schultz, five children; Fred, Jr., Michael, Barbara, Joanne and Frances, two step daughters: Christy Powell (Skip) of Mt. Holly, NJ, and Kristy Ann Sweeney (Tom) of Cape May Court House, NJ; six step grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.

Services and interment are private. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assn., 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190, or the American Diabetes Assn., 1060 N. Kings Highway, Suite 309, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Moore, Sr., LeRoy Nelson

LeRoy Nelson Moore, Sr., 85, of Rio Grande, NJ, passed into the hands of the Lord on June 22, 2006. He was born on January 12, 1921, the son of the late LeRoy and Florence Furman Moore of Camden, NJ. He was the eldest of his two brothers and one sister. LeRoy was a graduate of Haddonfield High School. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II in Paris, France. He returned to the US and married Thelma Marie McKinley on April 5, 1942 and they were married for fifty eight years when she passed away in March, 2001. He had loved and missed her dearly and his greatest joy and accomplishments was his family; another of his loves was flying. He was a fish spotter for the Menhaeden Fish Company for many years. He was also an airplane mechanic and had a Black Seal License as a boiler operator for the Middle Township School System. He was a member of the Rio Grande Rescue Squad, the Rio Grande Volunteer Fire Company, the American Legion Post 198, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1054, and V.F.W. Post 5343.

He is survived by his children: Donald and wife, Anne, of Severn, MD, LeRoy and wife, Carol, of Rio Grande, NJ, Cindy Hillman and husband, Philip, of Madison, AL, and Timothy and wife, Jennifer, of Cape May Court House, NJ; twelve grandchildren: Christine, Michelle, LeRoy, Donald, Jennifer, Tracie, Philip, Timothy, Brian, Kevin, Kaitlyn, and Jody; eight great grandchildren: Aliexis, Nicholas, Mack, Josiah, Madison, Shelby, Emma, and Alyssa; and one sister: Patricia. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald and William.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit after 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Tabernacle Methodist cemetery, Erma, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Jersey Chapter, The Atriums at Greentree Commons, 11000 Lincoln Drive West, Suite 7, Marlton, NJ 08053-3431.

Moore, Sr., Robert E.

Robert E. Moore, Sr., 53, a lifeitme resident of Goshen died on Monday, October 22, 2001 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Goshen. He was a supervisor at the Woodbine Developmental Center for twenty nine years. He was an exempt member of the Goshen Volunteer Fire Company; an avid fisherman and paintball enthusiast and an all around helping hand to many people.

He is survived by his wife, Natalie A.; his children: Monica A. Moore of Del Haven; Patty and (Thomas) A. Campbell of Goshen; Robert E. Jr. and (Stefanie Cavalier) Moore of

Woodbine and David A. of Goshen; his father: Dennis F. Sr. of Goshen; two brothers: James D. of Cape May Court House and Dennis F. Jr. and (Anna Ainslie) Moore of Goshen; two sisters: Janet and (William) Seitz of Dias Creek and Marie E. and (T.J.) Johnson of Waynesville, MO; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Vincent and Carol Colasanti of Goshen and one grandson: Thomas Chrisophter Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, October 26 at 11 am at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in the Methodist cemetery, Goshen.

Morabito, Constance

Constance Morabito, age 94 of Long Branch died Monday, July 5, 2004 at home. She was an owner of a Thoroughbred racing stable for over 40 years and a member of racing associations throughout NJ, NY, New England, PA, DE MD and FL. She was a member of the Long Branch Senior Center and AARP. Born in Paterson, she had resided in Long Branch since 1932. She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Welly; and 7 brothers, Dominick, Mathew, Roy, Joseph, Ray and Anthony. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, including Barbara Manella of Long Branch; Joan Anastasia of Ft. Myers, Fl.; Delores Amero of Paterson; Ruth Salloum of Wall; and Julie Sofadgis of Toms River. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Thursday, July 8 from 5-8 pm. Funeral, Friday, 9:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Morales, Francisco

Francisco Morales, 61, of Camden, NJ died suddenly on Sunday, October 27, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. He is suvived by his loving wife, Diana E; two sons, Francisco Jr. and Hector L; a daughter Lourdes Morales-Greene; four grandsons, Daniel Gregory and Nickolas Andreas Morales and Tyler Wendall and Ryan Marcus Greene.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 from 7-9 PM and Thursday, October 31, 2002 from 9:15-9:45 AM at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, Federal Street in Camden, NJ. Moran, Robert J.

Moran, Robert J. (Bob), age 88, of Avalon, NJ died peacefully in his home Saturday, January 9, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 22, 1921, Mr. Moran was the husband of the late Silvia Mullin Moran, his wife of 42 years. Mr. Moran was a veteran of World War II, IBEW local 98 member, a proud North Catholic alumna and a longtime resident of Haddonfield, NJ. Bob was an avid fisherman and in his retirement, he was a regular fixture at Moran's Dockside at the Avalon Sport Fishing Center where he served coffee before the sun came up.

He is survived by his daughter Gerry Miles (Mike) of Lake Harmony, PA, son Bob Jr. (Janet) of Avalon, NJ, son Jim (Helene) of Dennisville, NJ and daughter Betsy Martin (Bill) of Millington, NJ; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grand children, and his brother William of Ormond Beach, FL.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12th at Maris Stella Church, 50th & Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ 08202; followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends in Need, PO Box 5, Avalon, NJ 08202.

MARIBETH MORAN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 4th, 2007 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 41 yrs. of age. Born in Phila, PA, she has resided in Medford since 1981. A Stock Clerk for Office Depot in Westampton, NJ for the past 10 yrs., she is also a 1984 graduate of Lenape H.S. She is the Beloved daughter of Joseph B. & Edith Moran of Medford, NJ and the Loving sister of Joseph G. Moran of FL, Susan Anderson of FL, John P. Moran of CA and Brian Moran of PA. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews.
