On July 17, 2003, of Marlton. Age 61. Beloved wife of William F. McHugh, Sr. Loving mother of William F. McHugh, Jr. and his wife Kristin of Wyncote, PA and Cynthia McHenry and her husband Steve of Tuscon, AZ . Devoted grandmother of Erin, Anna, Ryan, Sophie, Casey and Jack. Loving daughter of Edward Purdy, II of Haddon Hts and the late Alma Purdy. Dear sister of Edward Purdy, III of Wildwood and Frances Brown of Audubon. Mrs. McHugh was a Supervisor for Princeton Food Management serving seven schools in the Marlton area. McIntyre, Rev. Msgr. James P.

Rev. Msgr. James P. McIntyre, 60, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James P. and Catherine (Goldthorp) McIntyre. He was ordained a priest on May 22, 1971 and appointed Prelate of Honor by Pope John Paul II on December 5, 1991. Msgr. McIntyre presently was the pastor of Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church in Cape May Court House. He previously was the pastor at St. Maria Goretti in Runnemede and Holy Family in Sewell. He formerly was the Priest Personnel Director for the Diocese of Camden and in charge of the Charismatic Renewal after Bishop Schad. He was recently assigned as chief administrator for Bishop McHugh Regional School. He was very involved in meditation and was very fond of the Meditation Group that he formed at Our Lady of the Angels.

Msgr. McIntyre is survived by his brother, Rev. Msgr. Thomas McIntyre of Cape May; his sister, Jeannie Reilly of Mt. Laurel; his nieces and nephews, Maureen, Donna, Janice, Christopher, Richard, and Kevin; his great nephew and great niece, Nicholas and Courtney; and his dog, Tiny.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 16, 2004 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Mass of the High Priest will follow at 7:00 p.m. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Bishop Joseph Galante will preside at the Funeral Liturgy on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in New St. Mary's cemetery, Bellmawr. McKee, Paul J.

PAUL J. McKEE of Shamong, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008. He was 65 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Charles & Eleanor McKee. A retired Operations Manager for Ferguson Enterprises, formerly A-1 Pipe, in Phila., PA, he retired in 2006 after 20 yrs. with the company. He is a graduate of St. Joe's Prep in Phila., PA and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army. Paul is the Beloved Husband of Peggy (Nee Hand) McKee of Shamong, NJ and is also survived by his children Kelly Anne Toriello, Sean McKee, Brendan McKee and Amy O'Neill and his Step-Children Edward Peterson and his wife Barbara and Pamela Bing and her husband Eugene. McKeon, William H.

McKEON, WILLIAM H., age 87. of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and was an area resident since 1987 coming from Havertown, Pa.

He was a retired manager for the Container Corporation of America and then worked for the Press for five years retiring in 2006. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He attended daily Mass at St. Paul's Church in Stone Harbor.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Conway) McKeon; a daughter, Nancy M. Alexander; a brother, Thomas; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 11 am at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 9901 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 539 Lane Av., Memphis, TN 39105.

McKernan, Ruth M.

McKernan, Ruth Marie (nee Hoskins), suddenly on January 1, 2008, of Cinnaminson, NJ. Formerly of Pennsauken, NJ. Age 77. Wife of the late John D. McKernan. Beloved mother of Linda Sowers and her husband Mark. Loving grandmother of Melissa Marie Williams and her husband Josh, and Shaun Sowers. Also survived by her sisters and brother, Alice Barrett, Dot Medlock, and John Hoskins, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Elwood Hoskins and sister, Ruby Tucker. Ruth enjoyed going to the Ritz Theater in Oaklyn, going to the casinos, and most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. McKinney, Mamie

Mamie McKinney, 96, of Northfield, formerly of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday, January 08, 2003 at Meadowview Nursing Home. She was born in Ruffen, SC and moved to Woodbine in 1931. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodbine. She was a housekeeper at the Famous Lady Dress Shop in Woodbine.

She is survived by her nephew, Isaac Riley of Charleston, SC and her nieces, Edrue Stephens of Waterboro, SC and Annie Ruth Fryar of Ruffen, SC.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2003 at Seaside cemetery, Palermo.

McLarnon, Brian F.

Brian F. McLarnon, 43 of South Seaville, NJ, died on Friday at his home. Born in Ridley Park, PA, he has lived here since 1989 coming from Stone Harbor, NJ. He was a self employed carpenter with his business Brian McLarnon Carpentry. He was an avid bowler at the Mouse Trap and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. He was an avid Flyers Hockey Fan and played hockey at Great Valley High School in Malvern, PA. He was a volunteer with the Dennis Township Boy Scout Troop, and he also did Lawn Care locally at many area homes. He attended First United Methodist Church of Sea Isle and accepted Christ as his Saviour in 1976 at a Word of Life Camp at Schroon Lake, NY.

He is survived by his wife: Ingrid of Leesburg; son: Brian M. of South Seaville; parents: Thomas H. of Colwyn, PA and Elizabeth M. of Stone Harbor, NJ; sister: Christine McLarnon of Stone Harbor; brother: Tommy Mack of Chicopee, MA; half brother: Kenny McLarnon of Pennsylvania; and niece: Marla Mack of Enfield, CT.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the Seaville Methodist Church, Rte. 9, Seaville, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment in the Seaville Methodist cemetery.

McLaughlin, Hugh J.

McLaughlin, Hugh J., 69, of Avalon and Moorestown, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at his home in Avalon. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Hugh J. and Margaret (McCann) McLaughlin, he enjoyed his summers at the beach and ocean. He loved traveling and cruising and made frequent donations to Atlantic City casinos. He attended Drexel University and was the proprietor of EAST, Inc. A proud Marine, he had great Irish wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed being with people, especially his two sons, family and friends. He was an avid Eagles fan and was a friend of Bill W.

Mr. McLaughlin is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons, Gregory H. McLaughlin of Delran, NJ and H. Jason McLaughlin and his fiancée, Nancy Mulera of Anaheim Hills, CA; his sister, Josephine Nusbaum and her husband, Paul of Sykesville, MD; his brother in law, Larry Colfer of Westtown, PA; his cousins, Lolly and Jack Ferguson of Avalon; good friends, Peter Belfi, Patti Foy, and Jerry Batten; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Colfer.

Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, where a viewing will be held from 9:15 at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be private. WILLIAM E. McLAUGHLIN of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday August 31st, 2007 at the Jefferson Medical Center in Phila., PA. He was 54 yrs. of age. Born in PA, he has resided in Tabernacle for the past 16 yrs. moving there from W. Berlin, NJ. A graduate of Stockton State College with a BS and from Rowand University in Glassboro with his Masters, Bill is an Environmental Analyst who has worked for the State of NJ with the DEP and the DOT for since 1988. He is the Beloved Husband of Mary Lou McLaughlin of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving son of Frances McLaughlin of Williamstown, NJ. He is also survived by his daughters Mary Beth Hodgens of Linwood, NJ, and Julianne R. McLaughlin and Stephanie L. McLaughlin both at home, his brother Michael McLaughlin of Williamstown, NJ, his sisters Mary Deal of Tabernacle, NJ and Marie Pritsky of Shamong, NJ and his Granddaughter Savannah Michelle Hodgens. Prior to retiring, Elaine worked in customer service for Office Depot in Rancocas, NJ and Del Ray Beach, FL for 6 years. McMahon, Patrick J.

Patrick J. McMahon, 45, of Green Creek, died on Friday, May 24, 2002 at his home. He was born in Germantown, PA where he had been a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. He moved to Cape May County in 1972 and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School. He was a plumbing contractor. He was a charter member of the Cape May County Archery Association and former member of the Cape May Court House and Cape May Kiwanis Clubs.

He is survived by his wife, Marion nee Gray; his two sons, Shawn P. of Orlando, FL and Christopher J. of North Wildwood; his step son, Edward Solomon and his wife, Elana of Philadelphia; his step daughter, Vicki Pennell and husband, Wayne of Hancock, MD; his mother, Teresa McMahon of North Cape May; his four brothers, Edward, John, Thomas, and Timothy; his three sisters, Ann Harwood, Terry Morris, and Mary Kay Messman; three grandchildren, Chase and Carly Pennell and Tyler Solomon; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John of God Church, Town Bank Road, North Cape May. Interment will be private. McMahon, Rita C.

Rita C. McMahon, a long time resident of Little Silver died September 10, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was parishioner of Roman Catholic Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach, where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Rita was a graduate of Columbia University where she received a degree in Fine Arts and was a member of the Italian Historical Society (Casa Italia). She then went to work for the American News Company and moved on to WOR radio where she worked behind the scenes in research for Dora and Alfred McCann and Ed and Pegeen Fitzgerald with whom she remained life long friends. She also worked for the Brooklyn Borough president where she met her future husband Maurice. Rita was very active in the Brooklyn Democratic Club and enjoyed being active in politics. She was a season ticket holder of her beloved Brooklyn Dodgers and played hooky many a day to go see them play. Rita was an active member of The Women's Club of Little Silver and the Oceanport Garden Club. As an avid Yankee fan, Rita never missed an inning of a game. She was a devoted follower of Mother Angelica and EWTN Station. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice in 1978; parents, Anthony and Augusta Casella; and sisters, Virginia and Irene. She is survived by her loving sons, Anthony McMahon and Thomas McMahon, both of Little Silver; a daughter and son in law, Virginia and William Notley of Oceanport; and two beloved grandsons, Christopher and Robert Notley. Rita also has many loving cousins, extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 10:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at R.C. Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Eternal World Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.

McMahon, Sr., Thomas P.

THOMAS P. MC MAHON SR., 73, of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a Interline Sales Manager of North America for Aer Lingus, retiring in 1990. Born in Jersey City, and had been a resident of Ocean Township since 1994. Mr. McMahon was a communicant of St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Ann C. Stoeckert McMahon; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas P. Jr. and Adele McMahon of Winchester, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Philip Dailey of Tinton Falls, and Margaret and Daniel Cushing of Westwood; two sisters, Mary L. McMahon and Annora Rogers, both of Wood-Ridge; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. Anselm's Church, 1028 Wayside Road, Wayside. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements.

McMeekin, Malcolm "Mac" Bowman

Malcolm "Mac" Bowman McMeekin, 55, of Avalon, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Malcolm Bowman and Anne (Galligan) McMeekin, he moved to Avalon two years ago from Exton, PA.

Mac had a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Wheeling College in West Virginia. While at Wheeling College, he played rugby. He had his Captain's License and loved sailing. He enjoyed traveling and music. His friends and family were what he cared about the most. He always said he was the richest man in the world - not because of a dollar in his pocket, but because of the friends he has.

Mac is survived by his sisters and brother, Andrea Dwyer of Fredericksburg, VA, Diane Donoghue of Tampa, FL, and Michael McMeekin of Potomac, MD; his best friend, Richard Byerly; many nieces and nephews; and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher McMeekin.

Memorial mass will be said on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 99th Street and Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
