McGinniss, Daniel J.
McGINNISS, DANIEL J. passed away on Sunday, September 19th, 2004 at the Kressonview Center in Voorhees, NJ. He was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he resided in Cherry Hill, NJ for the past 37 years, moving there from Maple Shade, NJ. The son of the late Daniel & Virginia McGinniss, he is a retired Instrument Maker for the Phila. Navy Yard where he retired in 1972 after 32 years. He is a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5714 in Maple Shade, NJ, a Veteran of the Army serving in WWII and a member of the VFW. He is the beloved husband of Dorothy I. (Nee Schmidt) McGinniss. He is the loving Father of Diane Pfluger and her husband Charles of Tabernacle, NJ. He is also survived by his brothers John McGinniss of Cape May Beach, NJ and Dr. Joseph McGinniss of Phila., PA and also his two Grandchildren Charles Pfluger IV of Medford, NJ and Christian D. Pfluger of Tabernacle, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford Mt. McGinty, Marie A.
Marie A. McGinty, age 91, of Sea Isle City, NJ, died on Friday, January 15, 2010, at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and summered here since 1940 moving permanently in 1977.
She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, the Catholic Daughters, and the AARP. She was a homemaker and most of all a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Terry and his wife, Dorothy of Marlton, NJ; Tim of Timonium, MD; Susan M. Fraser and her husband, George of Norwich, VT; Dudley of Sea Isle City, NJ; and Mark of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Kevin McGinty and wife, Joyce; Brian McGinty; John Frazer and wife, Susan; Dan Fraser; Rob Fraser and wife, Tanya; Mathew Fraser and wife, Suzanne; and Jennifer Marano and husband, Louie; seven great grandchildren: Michael, Emily, Sebastian, Samantha, and Andrew Fraser; and Brooke and Sarah Marano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene John McGinty.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ, where friends may call at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaville cemetery. McGLONE, SYLVIA ANNE (nee Persons) on January 13, 2007 of Beverly Hills, FL, formerly of Marco Island, FL and Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 74. Beloved wife of James J. for 48 years. Devoted mother of Marguerite Kazanjian (Michael), James J. Jr. (Lisa), Gerald (Dennise) and Michelle McGlone. Loving grandmother of Ashlee, Chelsea, Morgan, Steven, John Patrick, Marisa, Sylvianna, Uhriah, Naomi Rose & Martha. Dear sister of Michael & Dennis Persons. Born in Reading, PA, Sylvia grew up in Perkasie, PA and owned Sylvia's Dress Shop in Perkasie and Lansdale, PA. She was a buyer at Lit Brothers Dept Store in Philadelphia, PA. She was also an advertising manager for a local NJ newspaper. Sylvia was past President of the New Comers Club in Cherry Hill, as well as Ways & Means Chairman of the Marco Island New Comers Club. She was a Girl Scout leader and past President of PTA's in Cherry Hill, NJ. Some of her hobbies included gardening, decorating, cross stitch, playing bridge, traveling all over the world and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. Joan Cronin McGrade, age 72 of Long Branch died Sunday, December 5, 2004. She was predeceased by her daughter, Geralyn, and 2 sons, Mark and Peter. McGonigle, Margaret "Peg"
Margaret "Peg" McGonigle, 80, of Swainton, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2003. Born in Philadelphia to the late Ralph Jacob and Mary (Costigan) Walter, she had lived here for 15 years after moving from Woodlyn, Delaware County, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She worked as a switch assembler for Control Switch in Folcroft, PA. Peg was an avid gardener.
Mrs. McGonigle is survived by her children, Judith Shiffer of Sewell, Joyce Layre and her husband, Charles of Gibbstown, Donald Nothacker and his wife, Alma of Gibbstown, and Diane Tullie and her husband, Ronald of Estell Manor; her sister, Dorothy Tantaros of Wildwood Crest; her brothers, Ralph Walter and his wife, Pat of Albuquerque, NM, and Lawrence Walter of Folcroft, PA; her step-children, Madelyn Miscannon and her husband Leonard of Thornton, PA, and Shirley McGonigle of Pottstown, PA; sixteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McGonigle on January 26, 2003.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Robert J. McGonigle, 80, of Swainton, NJ, died on Sunday, January 26, 2003, at the Linwood Convalescent Center, Linwood, NJ. He was born in St. Clair, PA, and lived in Woodlyn, Delaware County, PA before moving here fifteen years ago. He was a retired mechanical supervisor for General Electric. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve during World War II. He was an avid letter writer to area newspapers of his concerns of community involvement. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church of Cape May Court House, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (nee Walter); five children: Madelyn Miscannon and husband, Leonard of Thornton, PA, Judith Shiffer of Sewell, NJ, Joyce Layre and husband, Charles of Gibbstown, NJ, Donald Nothacker and wife, Alma, and Diane Tullier and husband, Ronald of Estell Manor, NJ; sister: Mary Conley of St. Clair, PA; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Green, and a son, Robert James, Jr.

Linda Marie McGovern, 45, of Woodbine, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2004. Born in Cape May Court House to the late Jacob and Annie A. (Boyd) Moore, Sr., she was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbine. She enjoyed fishing and gardening.
She is survived by her sons, Segmon M. Price, Sr. and his wife, Amber, and Sterling Price and his wife, Rose; her grandchildren, Vachon A. Price, Destiny J. Price, Trinity M. Price, and Segmon M. Price, Jr.; her brothers, Jacob Moore, Jr. and his wife, Wyetta, Mark Moore, and Carl Moore and his wife, Javetta; and her sisters, Caroline Roxborough and her husband, Aaron, Blanche Gordon, Theresa Moore, Sandra Crawley and her husband, Calvin, Jacqueline Moore, and Judy Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Longfellow Street and Adams Avenue, Woodbine, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00. Interment will be in Mt. Olive cemetery, Swainton.

Loretta R. Kleinsklaus McGowen age 94 of Ocean Grove died Tuesday, April 8 at Manor by the Sea Nursing Facility, Ocean Grove. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Riverdale, NY before moving to Ocean Grove in 1998. She was secretary and homemaker. She started her career at Gotham Advertising in New York and went on to work for Manhattan College, Department of Chemical Engineering.
She was a member of St. Margaret of the Cortona and Visitation Catholic Churches in Riverdale, NY
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank McGowan in 1968; a brother, Louis J. Kleinsklaus in 1994 and sister, Fabiola Kleinklaus in 1995.
Surviving are five daughters, Marjorie McGowan of West End, Long Branch Ann McGowan of New York; Maureen O'Toole of Kingston, WA; Frances Peets of Crescent City, CA and Valerie Cheeseman of Holliday, PA; one son, Tom McGowan of Atlanta, GA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Of Marlton, NJ. Suddenly on March 24, 2003. Age 74. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Shubert). Loving father of Thomas H., Jr. of Marlton and Edward J. and his wife Mary Jo of Tunkhannock, PA. Also survived by his brother John J. and his wife Josephine of Bellmawr, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Harold M. Mr. McGowan served in the US Navy and is a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He retired in 1986 after working 28 years for RCA in Camden and Moorestown, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Barrington, NJ. Dear brother of Laura Patricia Iriana. Caring grandfather of Andrew, Taylor, William, Veronica, Jessica and Sean. George served in the US Navy and was a graduate of Temple University. He was a retired employee of Hoffman-LaRoche Pharmaceutical Company for thirty three years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and a Certified Meeting Planner, a member of the Free Wheelers Camping Club and Parents without Partners. At the Wiley Home George was the former President of the Resident Council, Member of the Diners Club and active in the Chaplains Bible Study. A memorial service will held Sunday August 23rd at 2 PM at the Wiley Church, Marlton. The family will receive friends following the service. Joseph P. McGroarty, age 47 of Eatontown died Friday March 16, 2007. Joe was the fleet manager for J.F. Kiely Construction Company, Long Branch for the past 9 years. He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch; a member of the Eatontown Elks Lodge 2402; Ex Captain of the Oceanport Hook and Ladder Company; and Ex President of the Oceanport Fireman's Exempt Relief Association. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had lived in Oceanport before coming to Eatontown 6 years ago. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn McGroarty.
Surviving is his wife, Camille Sullivan McGroarty; a son, Ryan J. McGroarty, at home; his mother, Theresa Quartucci, Oceanport;his father, Joseph F. McGroarty, N. Carolina; 2 sisters and a brother in law, Joanne and Robert Scaturo, Wisconsin; and Patricia Hommel, N. Carolina; his sisters in law and brothers in law, Nancy and Richard Wong, Eatontown; and Chris and Kathy Sullivan, Long Branch; and several nieces and nephews.

McGuckin, James W.
James W. McGuckin of 83 years died at his home in Stone Harbor, NJ on Friday, June 21, 2002. Born in Philadelphia, PA he has summered in Stone Harbor since 1955 and became a full time resident in 1989 coming from Rosemont, PA. He was a retired Salesman for Schenly Industries, New York and retired after 20 years of service. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of WW II serving in the South Pacific and received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Major.
He had graduated from Germantown High School class of 1938 and Dickinson College of Carlisle, PA in 1942. He was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He was selected by the Ravens Claw Society as one of seven outstanding men in his class. He was a longtime resident of Rosemont, PA, Stone Harbor, NJ and most recently of Ft. Myers, FL.
He was Past President of Eastern Athletic Inter-Collegiate Football Officials & was also a Commodore at Stone Harbor Yacht Club in 1969. He was Vice-President of Schenly Industries and retiring from there went with Stockwell Rubber Company until his retirement in 1989. A member of Overbrook Country Club of Radnor, PA and Director of Maxwell Football Club of Philadelphia.
His is survived by his wife Jane (nee Bowers) and was predeceased by his former wife Elizabeth (nee Roulston) in May 28, 1996. His 2 sons J. Wesley, Jr. and his wife Teresa and their sons James W., III and Michael. Eric W. Davies and his wife Linda and their daughters Kristen, Katie and Lindsay. His 2 daughters Barbara E. Camp and her husband Dennis and their sons Brian and Dereck. Judith D. Newell and her husband Robert and their son Kyle. His sister Elizabeth M. Keller. His brother the late Robert Henry McGuckin, Jr.
His Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 27th at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 95th & Third Avenues, Stone Harbor, NJ. There is no calling time. Inurnment in St. Mary's Episcopal Church Columbarium. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Compasionate Care Hospice, 516 High Street Shopping Center, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.

HELEN FRANCES McGUIRE (nee Cashel) of Trenton, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, NJ. She was 87 yrs. of age. Born in Trenton she spent her whole life in Trenton. She was a life member of the Prospect Heights Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the Mercer County Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an active member of the Ewing Senior Club and The Live Wires. She was the Beloved Wife of 56 yrs. of the late Francis Patrick McGuire. She is also survived by her daughter Joyce M. Rovinsky and son-in-law Leonard of Southampton, NJ, her Granddaughters Jennifer A. Sewell and husband James of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Maureen E. Simanski and husband Kenneth of Lumberton, NJ. Emily 'Dolly', (Monaghan) McHugh of Tarpon Springs, Fl. died on Monday January 8, 2007) at the Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation and Care Center in Clearwater, FL. She was 69 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. May 17, 1937 Dolly graduated from West Catholic Girls High School and attended Misericordia Nursing and Anesthesia School and obtained her BS at age 53 from St. Joseph College. Her last nursing job was at Garden State Hospital later known as West Jersey Hospital, Marlton Division for 17 years. She was a resident of Medford Lakes, NJ for 27 years prior to moving to Fla. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John J. McHugh, her daughter Gwyn Hurd and husband Irv, her sons Sean and wife Carmen, Matthew and wife Mary, Timothy and wife Kimberly and also 8 grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Monaghan and is survived by her brothers Thomas Monaghan and Frank Monaghan, predeceased Walter Monaghan. She was loved by all who knew her. She was always full of energy, loved life and people. She will dearly be missed by all she touched. Marjorie D. McHugh, age 86 of West Long Branch died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown. She was an office employee in the mortgage department at Shadow Lawn Savings and Loans Bank, Long Branch for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis McHugh in 1964; three children, Patricia, Sharon and Neil, all of whom also died in 1964; and one brother, Robert Davis.
Surviving is a daughter and son in law, Teresa and Dr. Gregory Bordiuk of West Long Branch; a son, Brian McHugh of Belmar; and two granddaughters, Catharine and Colleen.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 15 from 2-5 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third) in Long Branch. The funeral will on Monday, 9:30 am at the funeral home with services beginning at 10:00 am with Pastor Brian Eble officiating. Interment will follow at St. Catharines cemetery, Wall.
