MATTHEWS, Edward A.
Of Cherry Hill, NJ. Formerly of Cape May, NJ and Langhorne, PA. Passed peacefully at home on December 18, 2006. Beloved long-time friend of Tom Dougherty and his wife June, Tom and Paula Dougherty, Karen Daley and "Uncle Ed" to Shawn, Brandon, Austin, Emily and Donovan. Survived by Evelyn and Wesley Hurt of St. Louis, MO. Dear friend to many including special friends Joan Jackson, Fred Robinson, Darryl Gordon and Peter Conti. Eddie served in WWII with the Army Air Corps and attained the rank of corporal. After the war, he opened The Chicken Coop in Phila. He later joined the staff of F.T. Robinson Auto Agency and for a short time was a DJ on WDAS. He was then employed by Reedman Corp. as a sales manager for 28 years, from which he retired. Ed was a gourmet chef and loved his collie "Champ". A viewing will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 from 8:30-10am followed by a Prayer Service, at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ. Interment will follow in Eden cemetery in Darby, PA. MATTIONI, Blasco, CDR USN (Ret.) of Marlton, died suddenly on February 17, 2007, age 78. Beloved husband of Eleanor A. McKenna Mattioni. He is survived by his stepsons, Patrick, John (Peggy) and Mark (Shannon), his sons, Gene, Alan (Colleen) and Brian (Dorothy). Also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle, Chelsea, Kaleigh, Patrick and Ashleigh McKenna and Zachary and Christian Mattioni. Dear brother of Mary, Dante, Rosalie, Faust, John, Helen, Angela, Eugene, and Mae. A graduate of USNA class of 1951, Mr. Mattioni was a Submarine Commander with 20 years of distinguished service. MARCELLA A. MATTSON (Nee Sieber), of Hainesport, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Temple University Hospital in Phila., PA. She was 64 years of age. Born in Chester, PA, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Sieber. A lifelong resident of Hainesport, NJ, she is a graduate of Rancocas Valley High School in Mt. Holly, NJ and a graduate of Ryder College. She is the Beloved wife of Richard C. Mattson of Hainesport and the loving mother of Richard L. Mattson, his wife Lisa and her Grandchildren Erica, Devon and Shae all of Vincentown, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Marie Lewis and her husband Frank of Toms River, NJ and Rochelle McKendrick of Mt. Holly, NJ. Anne Matuch age 83 of Tinton Falls died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at home. She was a sales person working in retail before retiring. Mrs. Matuch was very active at Ronald Mc Donald House and Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, where she volunteered and helped with fund raising projects, as well as a member of the Leadership Corp at Monmouth Medical Center. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Neffs, Ohio, she had lived in Long Branch since 1979 before moving to Tinton Falls in December. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter F. Matuch in 1999, 2 brothers, Michael Kornutick in 2002 and Joseph Kornutick in 1980.
Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Walter M. and Mary Susan Matuch, Bloomsbury, NJ; a daughter Marilyn L. Matuch, Tinton Falls; a sister, Mary Kolan, Bayonne, NJ; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Michelle and a great granddaughter, Tally.
Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch, on Tuesday, March 29, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. (Jacquelyn) Farland of Sugar Land, TX; her daughter-in-law, DeVera Farland of Cape May Court House, NJ; six grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. MAURO, Richard F. died suddenly on April 24, 2009, of Mt. Laurel NJ. Age 51. Beloved husband of Kathryn M. Mauro (nee McAdams). Loving father of Christopher J., Alexandra M. and Kelsey L. Mauro, all of Mt. Laurel. Dear brother of Joseph Mauro Sr., Lisette Morgan and the late Robert Mauro. Richard is the son of the late Alfonso and the late Vera Mauro. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. Mr. Mauro was a Senior Investment Advisor in the Wealth Management Group of PNC Advisors of Moorestown. He was passionate about his work, and was named to the 2008 Worth Magazine Top 250 Wealth Advisors. He loved baseball, coaching kids, and spending time with his family. Dolores "Teeny" Peterson Mauro, age 74, of Monmouth Beach died Friday, June 15, 2007 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. Dolores was a communicant of the Roman Catholic Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department. Her greatest joy was raising her family. Born in Long Branch, she was a life resident of Monmouth Beach.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Peter A. Mauro, 3 sons and 2 daughters in law, Anthony and Carol Mauro, Colts Neck; Perry Mauro, Robbinsville; Nicholas and Cheryl Mauro, Freehold; a brother, Edwin O. Peterson, Lincroft; and 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Jr.; Victoria, Oliver and Collin.

Barry Lee Maye, Jr., age 54 of Lakewood departed this earthly life on Friday, February 23, 2007 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Barry was born at the Pitt Memorial Hospital, in Greenville, North Carolina on September 10, 1952. He was the youngest of three children of the late Barry Lee Sr. and Eleanor Maye. Barry attended the Washington Public School in Washington, North Carolina. He was formerly married
to Camellia Midgette and out of that union came two daughters.
Barry was a member of Shore Christian Center and finally resided at Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Asbury Park. Barry leaves to mourn, his wife Angela Maye, 3 daughters, Tonia Midgette, Baltimore, Maryland; Natasha Maye, Raleigh, North Carolina and Michelle Brown, Gainesville, Georgia; 4 grandchildren, Kelly Cannon, Jr., Aaron Smith, Asja Maye and Ozhear Maye; 2 sisters and a brother in law, Ernestine and Robert Blackledge, East Windsor, and Geraldine Wilkins, Lakewood; 3 nephews, Kenneth Wilkins, Long Branch, Darnell Wilkins, and his wife Pamela Wilkins, Howell; Terrance Blackledge, Owning Mills, Maryland; 3 nieces, Sharii Wilkins, Brick; Shaprell Wilkins, Lakewood; Shawnae Teele, East Windsor; a uncle Johnnie Willis and his wife, Bell Willis, Greensville, North Carolina; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mayes, Beatrice C. (nee Farrell), age 83, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2001 at 12:30 AM at her home surrounded by family members and her caretaker, Mary Jones. She was formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, until moving to Egg Harbor, New Jersey in 1983. She was born on January 26, 1918 in Portland, Indiana to Elza and Mary Farrell. On June 22, 1941 at Parr United Methodist Church in Kokomo, she married
Enver C. Mayes, who died in 1994. She retired from General Motors - Delco in 1977. She was a member of Parr United Methodist Church in Kokomo and the Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Auxiliary. Mrs. Mayes is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and George Duberson of Egg Harbor, with whom she resided; her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Pamela Mayes of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her sister, Madonna Sexton of Kokomo, Indiana; her grandson, Scott Duberson of Jacksonville, Florida; her granddaughter, Kathryn Eisele and her husband, Michael of Galloway Township; and three great grandchildren, Michael and Kyle Enver and Emily Eisele of Galloway Township. Catherine was a long standing, enthusiastic, member of the Country Garden Club of Mount Laurel. Whether enjoying time with her family, assisting her clients at work, engaging herself in parish and garden club activities, Catherine brought with her a heart of gold which was so very evident to everyone she knew. Tami Mazurkewicz, age 32 of Bricktown died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was employed by Merry Maids, Bricktown. Born in Long Branch, she had lived in Wall before moving to Brick 3 years ago.
Surviving are her son, Tyler Abrams; her mother, Laurie Maccioli, Brick; 2 sisters, Toni Maccioli, Toms River; Leann Maccioli, Brick; her brother in law, Joe Martinez; 2 nephews, Joey and Jesse Martinez; several aunts, uncles, cousins; her best friend, Charlotte Knighton; and her boy friend, Deron Bokop.

John J. Mazza, age 84 of Long Branch died Sunday, May 28, 2006 at St Barnabas Hospice Center, Long Branch. He was a letter carrier for the Long Branch Post Office for 33 years retiring 25 years ago and after retirement, he was a court officer, in Freehold for 10 years. Mr. Mazza was a member of the Long Branch Old Guard; the Atlantic Engine and Truck Company of the Long Branch Fire Department, where he was a 50 year member; VFW Post 2140, Long Branch; and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He served his country honorable in the US Navy. Born in Red Bank, he was a life resident of the area. He was predeceased by his brother, Gabriel Mazza.
Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Lucy Perri Mazza; a son, John R. "Spanky" Mazza and his fiancée, Annette Kaltenbach, Long Branch; a daughter and son in law, Linda and John Augusta, West Long Branch; and 2 grandchildren, Danielle and her husband William Christie and John Augusta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, from 2-4, 7-9 pm from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, on the corner of Third Avenue, Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 8:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Mazza, Victor
Victor Mazza, 79, of Avalon, died on Saturday, September 15, 2001, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived here for two years after moving from Philadelphia. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Maris Stella Church in Avalon.
Mr. Mazza is survived by his sons, Victor Mazza, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, and Paul Mazza and his wife, Dawn, of Avalon; his sister, Lillian Seltzer of Philadelphia; and his grandchildren, Paul and Dana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, on June 4, 2001.
A Memorial Mass will be said on Friday, September 21, 2001, at 11:00 AM at Maris Stella Church, 50th and Dune Drive, Avalon. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.

ANNA C. MAZZEI (nee Amato) on August 13, 2005 of Mt. Laurel. Age 83 years. Survived by her beloved husband Anthony Edward Mazzei, two daughters Janet & Maryann and many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 8:15-9:15 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South and Evesham Rd in Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. John Neumann Church in Mt. Laurel. Interment will take place at New St. Mary's cemetery in Bellmawr.
