Klessel, Robert W.

KLESSEL, Lt. Col. US Air Force (Retired), ROBERT W., on April 22, 2009, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 69. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Gifford). Loving father of Dwayne Klessel and his wife Jodi, and Wendy Sweely and her husband David. Proud grandfather of Breanna, Noelle, Quinn, Jaden, Owen, and Luke. Mr. Klessel taught Math at Florence Township High School and Temple University. Robert was a member of Collingswood United Methodist Church for 60 years. Kligge, Josephine Bossone

JOSEPHINE P. BOSSONE KLIGGE, 85, of MONMOUTH BEACH, died Monday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a registered nurse at Monmouth Medical Center for five years before retiring in 1948. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she lived in Glen Ridge before moving to Monmouth Beach 30 years ago.

Her husband, Albert S. Kligge Sr., died in 1990; and a son, Albert Kligge Jr., died in 1967. Surviving is a son, Robert J. Kligge of Monmouth Beach.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral service will be held 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. On May 16, 2003. Of Cherry Hill. Age 81. Beloved husband of 49 years of Mary (nee Yentsch) Loving father of Janet L. Brady of Cocoa, FL, Steven of Cherry Hill and John of Mt Laurel. Devoted grandfather of Kimberly, Pamela, Cynthia, and Timothy. Dear brother of William and Al . Mr. Klimek served in the U.S. Marines in World War II and later served in the U.S. Army. Kline, Joseph M.

KLINE, JOSEPH M., on March 14, 2005 of Mt. Laurel for 36 years. Age 61. Beloved husband of Judith M. (nee Irvine) for 38 years. Devoted father of Michael and Brian Kline both of Mt. Laurel. Loving son of Joseph H. and Madalyn G. (nee Kemp) Kline. Dear brother of Marianne Passero of Barrington, Bruce Kline of Haddonfield, Jeanette Carr of Collingswood, Derene Gifford of Collingswood, Michele O'Neill of Washing Twp, Donna DeTora of Collingswood and Kenneth Kline of Oaklyn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement in 2003, Joseph was a teacher at Carusi Middle School in Cherry Hill for 38 years. He was a soccer, wrestling and baseball coach at Carusi Middle School and enjoyed traveling and fishing. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd in Marlton. Klos, Rev. Dr. Frank W.

The Reverend Doctor Frank W. Klos, Visitation Pastor at Prince of Prince Lutheran Church, Marlton, died Monday, July 15, 2002 at Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County after a long illness. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on July 20, 1924, he attended Gettysburg College before enlisting in the Army in 1942. He was assigned to the Army Tank Corps and later selected for special officer training, attending both Michigan State and the University of Michigan. At the close of World War II he returned to Gettysburg College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1946. He graduated from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 1949, later receiving his Masters in Sacred Theology from the same institution. Pastor Klos was ordained in the West Virginia Synod and his parish was in Martinsburg where he served from 1949 to 1955. He was then called to work for the United Lutheran Church in America in its Division for Parish Services at the headquarters in Philadelphia. He was field director of Vacation Bible Schools and Weekday Church Schools, later becoming editor for various church school materials. He held this position through various changes in the church at large, becoming the Director of Program Resources in the Lutheran Church in America. As Director he was involved in several innovative projects, including the Impact Series, the School of Religion, the 'I Believe' series, the Word and Witness program, and helped develop the popular 'Davey and Goliath' television series for children. 'Davey and Goliath' remains popular today and has been translated for use in several world communities. He was widely known in the church for his cartoons and artistry. In 1970 he wrote the seminal book on Confirmation and First Communion, which brought three major Lutheran bodies together in a major change in Confirmation and Communion practice. Other writings include these studies: Prayer and the Devotional Life, Four Pictures of Christ, and A Companion for Reading and Understanding the Bible. His busy work schedule did not prevent him from serving in his community as School Director for Upper Dublin Township from 1966 to 1975. From 1966 to 1968 he was a member of the Parks and Recreation Board of Upper Dublin. He completed graduate work at Temple University, culminating in an Ed.D. in 1978. In his retirement since 1987 Dr. Klos served as interim pastor at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church, Trenton, and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Collingswood. Since 1991 he has served as Visitation Pastor for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton. Dr. Klos' many and varied interests led him to follow his wife into volunteer work in 1993 at the New Jersey State Aquarium where he often did the 'Dive Show' presentation or enabled visitors to get better acquainted with the sharks and other sea creatures. Dr. Klos is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Sarah Wolfe, four children, Kathryn Reehl of Coraopolis, PA, Eric Klos of North Kingstown, RI, Beverly Perry of Westfield, PA and Thomas Klos of Jenkintown, PA seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday and 1:00 to 2:00 pm Friday, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Route 70 Marlton. A Funeral Service will follow Friday's viewing at 2:00 pm. Kloss, William C.

WILLIAM C. KLOSS passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at his home in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ. He was 78 yrs. of age. Born and raised in Canton, OH, he resided in Southampton, NJ for the past 4 years, moving there from Cherry Hill, NJ. A retired Regional Sales Manager with the Texas Refinery Corp. in Ft. Worth, TX he has worked for them for 25 years until his recent retirement. He was also owner of William C. Kloss Assoc. in Cherry Hill, NJ which he started in 1973 and was formerly with Michigan Clark Equipment in Moorestown, NJ. A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH he was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII on the USS Storm King and the USS Kenmore and continued to serve in the Navy Reserves until 1959. He is a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and was the 1937 National Marbles Champion from Canton, OH and was featured in Life Magazine. He is the beloved husband of Shirley P. Kloss and loving father of Vicki Korsakoff of Atco, NJ, Gary Kloss of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Jeff Kloss of Medford, NJ and David Kloss of Atco, NJ. Also survived by his Grandchildren Bryan, Amy and Lori Korsakoff and Kimberly, Kristine and Kayley Kloss. He is the father of the late Marci Beth Kloss. Klott, Sr., Albert "Fred"

Albert "Fred" Klott, Sr., age 77, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, September 16, 2007, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Millville, NJ, the son of the late Albert L. and Roberta Hughes Klott. He moved to Cape May Court House when he was one and a half years old.

Fred was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, where he served as deacon, superintendent of the Sunday School, operated the coffee house, and was involved in the Gospel Ministry.

As a young man, he worked for the Burleigh Lumber Company, and was a bookkeeper for the Tyler and Colson Lumber Companies. He then owned and operated "Fred Klott and Sons TV Sales and Service". He retired to Florida in 1980 and was head of the Culinary Department for the Marion County Correction Center in Florida.

He was a musician and entertainer; was a former 4-H Leader, Karate instructor, past president of Harley-Silver Spokes Motorcycle Club, Principal Chief of Indian Heritage Group Leni-Lenape, and served in the Army during the Korean War.

Fred is survived by his wife, Betty Jane; and six children: Albert F., Jr. (Barbara) of Newport, NC; Roberta Mae Broker (Eugene) of Brooksville, FL; Louis John (Cindy) of Cape May Court House, NJ; Pamela Kane (Daniel) of Dennisville, NJ; Gary Wayne (Kathryn) of Cape May Court House, NJ; and Gregory Vincent of Portland, OR; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. For those who desire, memorials may be sent a favorite charity.

Kludzuweit, Elizabeth E.

Elizabeth E. (Saul) Kludzuweit, 65, of Middle Township, died peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

A lifelong resident of Middle Township, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Elizabeth (Creamer) Saul. She graduated from Middle Township High School and worked most of her life in the restaurant business. She was most recently employed as restaurant manager at the Lighthouse Pointe. Previously, she worked at the Country House Restaurant in Mayville and the Rocking Chair and the Whitebrier in Avalon. Her warm, friendly demeanor and attention to customer service made her a recognized figure at these establishments.

Betty is predeceased by a sister, Patricia Yocum, and son Donald. A loving mother, grandmother and aunt, she is survived by a daughter, Lynne Schmidt and her husband, Lawrence, of Cape May Court House; granddaughter, Alexandra Nielsen, also of Cape May Court House; brother in law, Richard Yocum, of Clermont; a niece, Brenda Beauchamps, and her husband, David, of Massachusetts; and a great grandnephew, Morgan Beauchamps.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, July 28 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Kludzuweit, Patricia Anne

Patricia Anne Kludzuweit, of Rio Grande, passed away on January 5, 2005. She was born in Pennsylvania.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Dietmar; and five grown children, Donna, Lawrence (Andrea), William (Kristin), Kathleen (Rick) and Jennifer (Fred); and twelve very special grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister and husband, Carmella and Robert Hoke and a twin sister, Helen Corvina.

Patricia worked in the medical profession for more than thirty years and was still part time at the end. She ran as a certified EMT with Middle Township Ambulance Corps in Cape May Court House, NJ for six years and with the Morristown Rescue Squad in Morristown, VT for four years. She was also an avid baker and loved to cook and read.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Love of Linda, P.O. Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Knapp, Sidney F.

KNAPP, on June 19, 2002, Sidney F. of Manahawkin NJ, formerly of Delanco. Age 73. Dear husband of Marilyn (nee Rorke) Knapp. Loving father of Christopher and his wife, Monica Knapp of Marlton NJ and devoted grandfather of his pal, Michelle. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Smeltzer of Little Compton RI and a brother, Paul Knapp of Levittown PA. He is also the brother of the late Christina Stipick. He was a retired Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) employee and Union Official, a US NAVY Veteran, and former member of Delanco Twp. Planning Board. He was an avid golfer and boater. Knapp, Dr Kenneth Elwin

Dr Kenneth Elwin Knapp age 84 of Oakhurst died Saturday at The Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch

He was born Dec 3, 1917 in Tyler Minnesota to William and Helen Nelson Knapp. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Huron College, South Dakota and his Master Degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. On April 19, 1943, Kenneth married Ilamae Richmond, while stationed in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After serving in the military in World War II, he toured as an actor and singer in the original national company of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical 'Carousel' from 1947 to 1950. He also sang professionally in Chicago before beginning his career in 1952 as a professor at Monmouth College (now Monmouth University) West Long Branch. In 1957, he became Chairman of the Fine Arts Department. He received his Doctorate of Education from Columbia University in 1965. Dr Knapp retired as a full time professor from Monmouth University in 1988, after 35 years of continuous service. Yet, because of his love of teaching, he continued as a Lecturer and Adjunct Professor until his death, thus ending his career at Monmouth University after 50 years. Dr Knapp was affiliated with numerous professional associations and fraternal organizations.

Dr. Knapp was precedeased by his parents, one sister and his beloved wife, Ilamae R. Knapp.

His is survived by a sister and brother in law, Shirley and Harry Sanders, Puyallup, Washington, six nieces and nephews and their families and his best friend and faithful dog, Venus Nappi.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Tuesday, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday November 6, at 11 am from the funeral home. Entombment will be in Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. KNAUFF, Anna C. (nee Martinese).

On January 29, 2009. Of Atco, formerly of Bargaintown. Age 81. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Knauff. Loving mother of Marie (Tom) Sacks-Wilner of Medford. Daughter of the late Frank and Christina Martinese and sister of the late Marie Martinese. Mrs. Knauff was an Honors Graduate of Atlantic County Comm. College and majored in psychology at Stockton College. She attended the Casino Career Institute and was last employed as a games dealer in the casino industry. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Linwood where she formerly sang in the choir. She enjoyed horseback riding, bowling, golfing, fishing, boating, and playing the guitar and piano.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dwain L. Knepper; Three Sons: Michael S. Knepper of Chester, PA, Kevin L. Knepper of Mt Sterling, Kentucky and John A Knepper of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; A Daughter: Kathryn A. Knepper of Chester, PA; Also survived by Four Grandchildren.
