Margaret M. "Peg" Kelly, 85, of Avalon, NJ, died at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in South Philadelphia, PA, she has lived here since 1962. She was a Supervisor for Bell Telephone in Philadelphia and retired after 25 years of service. She was a member of H.O.W. (Help On Wheels) of Avalon.
She is survived by her niece, Nancy Kelly of Long Beach, CA; nephews: James Kelly of Laurel Springs, NJ, and James Marvel of Denville, NJ; and dear friend: Jane Walker of Stone Harbor, NJ.
Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 289-92nd St., Stone Harbor, NJ. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to Animal Welfare Society of South Jersey, 40 Rte. 47 South, Dias Creek, NJ 08210.
Kelly, Martha Holsworth "Lee"
Martha Holsworth "Lee" Kelly, age 63, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died at home surrounded by her family on Monday, April 14, 2008. Lee was born at the Margaret Mace Hospital in Wildwood, NJ, the daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Peters McCoy.
She formerly worked as a chambermaid for the Lark Motel in Stone Harbor, NJ. She was ministered by members and the pastor, Rev. Peter Thomas, of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House. Lee enjoyed traveling and camping with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel C.; and her daughters: Linda (Bob) Bakley of Goshen; Nancy McDevitt (Sean) of Green Creek; Peggy Kelly of Swainton; and Lorie Hentges (Rob) of Brick Township; her nine grandchildren: Mike Pastore of North Wildwood; Robert Bakley of Goshen; Justin McDevitt, USMC; Nick Bakley of Goshen; Mark Hentges of Brick Township; Sarah Bakley of Goshen; Sam Bakley of Goshen; Kim Hentges of Brick Township; and Jenny Kelly of Swainton; a sister: Beth Pine of Florida; an aunt: Brinca Peters of Cape May Court House; and all the Kelly clan.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to time of services. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Love of Linda, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Kelly, Joseph Thomas
Joseph Thomas Kelly, 87, of Egg Harbor Township, formerly of Cape May Court House, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas M. and Mary R. (Kane) Kelly, he lived here for the last three years after being the manager of the Briarwood Park in Cape May Court House for twenty years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Disabled American Veterans. A Navy Veteran of World War II, he was a police officer for the City of Philadelphia.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife Ruth; his three children William Kelly, Maureen Wiercinski (Dennis), and Raymond Kelly; his two sisters Mary Thomas and Dorothy Cleaver; his four grandchildren Kelly Ann Liebers, Jennifer Gould (Tom), Shannon Kelly, and Joey Kelly; and his six great grandchildren Justin Liebers, Danny Milillo, Delaney Gould, Mallory Gould, Darby Gould, and Rome Kelly.
Funeral Mass will be said on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Kelly, Walter John
Walter John Kelly, 59, of Galloway, died on Monday, October 7, 2002 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jersey City and moved here in 1981 from Moonachie, NJ. He was Safety Director for Coach USA. He also worked for Conrail, NJ Transit, and Harrah's Casino. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1963. He was plank owner of the Kitty Hawk CV63.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his companion, Dawn Brautigam of Galloway; his children, Kevin Kelly of Fort Benning, GA, and Denise Blaczack of Holiday, FL; his sister, Mary of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Adam Kelly and Sarah Blaczack. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Kelly and Kevin Kelly.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2002 at 7 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 4 p.m. Interment is private. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Battleship New Jersey Memorial Fund.

On 8/5/2002, of Pennsauken, NJ; age 65 years.
Beloved wife of Francis B.; Dear Mother of Clarita Hatley and her husband, Jeff, Catherine Yost and her husband, Stephen, Jean Kelly and Victoria Adams and her husband, Michael; Loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Ethan, Heather, Summer and Bradley; also survived by three sisters and two brothers.
Prior to her illness in 1995, Mrs. Kelly was an administrator for the Omega Institute in Pennsauken, NJ.

Kelly, M.D., Charles Ward
Charles Ward Kelly, M.D., 88, a prominent Jersey Shore physician respected for his resolute nature and quiet generosity, passed away on March 10 at his home in Long Branch. A member of America's "Greatest Generation, " he will be remembered for his determination, intelligence, endurance, and charity. He lived in Monmouth Beach, NJ for more than 35 years, in Kill Devil Hills, NC for 12 years, and in Franklin, TN.
Born in December 1918, in Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from New Utrecht High School in 1936, Fordham University (with honors) in 1940, and earned his medical degree from the Long Island College of Medicine in 1943. Upon graduation from medical school, he was commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy. He served as the medical officer on a tank landing ship (LST) in the Pacific during World War II and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. After returning home from the service, he did his internship at the St. Vincent's and King's County hospitals and his residency in internal medicine at the Boston City Hospital. He practiced medicine in Brooklyn for several years with his mentor, George A. Sheehan, M.D. In 1954, he moved his family to Monmouth Beach and set up a private practice in Red Bank with his brother-in-law, Dr. George A. Sheehan, Jr. For four decades, the physician team of Sheehan & Kelly was well known for its skill in diagnosing and treating patients and their ability to suitably provide for two large families (including their wives and 20 children).
He was a passionate advocate for the health care profession and frequently gave full voice in recognition of its hard work and achievements. He was a 35-year member of the Riverview Hospital medical staff and served as its president from 1979-1980. He had many doctor-friends. He was a 50-year member of the Monmouth County Medical Society and the Medical Society of New Jersey and was a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In 1957, he inoculated every pre-school child in Monmouth Beach with the new polio vaccine when the nation was suffering through a deadly polio epidemic. He also was on the Board of Directors for the Colonial National Bank in Monmouth Beach.
A man of varied interests, he was a voracious reader, strong advocate for education, collector of Native American culture, aspiring poet, dedicated horseman and sailor, photographer, champion college diver and gymnast, and fan of sports, ballet, and music.Over a 25-year period, he and his family lived on River Avenue in Monmouth Beach. The Kelly home frequently served as comfortable accommodations for family (including nearly 100 direct descendants) and friends (too many to count). Warm memories of life there endure for all concerned. He was an enthusiastic and educated golfer. He traveled the world to play the best courses, met Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan in person, posted his only two holes-in-one after his 75th birthday, and lived to play golf with all of his grandsons. He was a member of the Deal Golf & Country Club (Deal, NJ), the Beacon Hill Golf Club (Atlantic Highlands, NJ), the Pointe Golf Club, and the Duck Woods Country Club (both in the Outer Banks, NC). He is survived by three daughters, Shannon Ann Booth of Long Branch; Sheila Marie Sharemet and her husband John of Houston, TX; and Joan Elizabeth Kelly of Red Bank; and three sons, Owen Ward Kelly and his wife Jennifer of Red Bank; Gregory John Kelly and his wife Maureen of Monmouth Beach; and Charles Ward, Kelly, Jr., and his wife Lisa of Long Branch. He was married
three times and was predeceased by his devoted wives, Joan Kelly (1921-1982) and Cynthia Kelly (1926-2006). He cherished and lost two daughters, Claire Elizabeth Kelly (1952-1971) and Alice Ward Kelly, RN, (1953-1974).He leaves 17 grandchildren: Alexandria, Andrew, and Robert Kelly; David, Shaun, Paul and Charlie Booth; John Patrick Sharemet; Kyle and Lauren Kelly; Elizabeth, Alexander, Catharine, and Margaret Kelly; Claire, Virginia, and Katherine Stroby; and two great grandchildren, Alexa and Alec Booth. He was also predeceased by his parents, Augustine Charles Kelly (1887-1947) and Regina Alice Ward (1894-1955). His father was the manager at several high-end East Coast hotels and his mother was his "guiding light." His only sibling, Thomas Ward Kelly, an eminent NYC corporate attorney, died in 1993 at age 75.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, (corner of 3rd Avenue), Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial held at 9:30 am at Church of the Precious Blood, 72 Riverdale Ave., Monmouth Beach. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Middletown. A reception will follow at 1 p.m. at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave., Monmouth Beach.
Kelly-Pallanta, Reilly Kristofer
Reilly Kristofer Kelly-Pallanta, infant son of Kevin Todd Robert Kelly-Pallanta and Kerry Ann Kane, died on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother: Shannon Kane; maternal great grandparents: Maryann and Michael Kane; maternal step grandparents: Edward and Constance Camp and maternal great great grandmother, Caroline Kane; paternal grandmother: Cinnamon Kelly and grandfather Al Pallanta; paternal great grandparents: Paul and Linda Paulhamus and paternal great grandmother, Victoria Kelly; his uncles: Joshua Parks, A.J. and Jordan Pallanta. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Tyller Camp.

KELLY-SCHOPF, LINDA (nee Ford) on January 19, 2007 of Marlton. Age 58. Beloved wife of Edward Schopf. Dear sister of Arthur Ford and h is wife Donna. Loving aunt of Madeleine & Andrew Ford. Prior to her illness, Linda worked as a Cardiac Care Nurse at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills for 20 years and before that at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. She enjoyed collecting porcelain houses and was an officer of the Delaware Valley 56'ers. She loved traveling, cooking and most of all spending time with family & friends. Kemprowski, Jr., Frank
Frank Kemprowski, Jr., 62 of Red Bank, formerly of N. Middletown, died Saturday July 1, 2006 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a self employed air conditioning contractor. Born in Jersey City he moved to N. Middletown in 1963. He served in the New Jersey National Guard.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Catherine Kemprowski, Sr. and his sister, Dorothy Meyers.
Surviving are his daughter, Kimberley Alfano, N. Middletown, his brother, John, Long Branch, his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jim Mack, Long Branch, his granddaughter, Nikki Alfano and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday July 6, 2006 at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. At 2 PM.

Kendrick, Edward D.
Edward D. Kendrick, 62, of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia and summer resident of Cape May Court House, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Crawfordsville, IN to the late Louis and Jeannette Conkright Kendrick, he moved to Philadelphia 29 years ago. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed radio controlled airplanes.
Mr. Kendrick is survived by his wife, Ellen; his children, Michael Kendrick of Cape May Court House, E. Dean Kendrick, II of Hawaii, Mark J. Kendrick, Rebecca J. Kendrick, and John R. Kendrick, all of Roxborough; his step-brother, Robert Max Williams and his wife, Elaine of Crawfordsville, IN; and his eight grandchildren.

Robert C. Kennedy, 87, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Saturday, February 23, 2002, at the North Cape Center, North Cape May, NJ. He was born in New Jersey, and was a county resident most of his life. He was a member of the Grace Gospel Chapel here, and played saxophone and accordion. He was well known for caning chairs. He attended Overbrook School for the Blind, and then graduated from Middle Township High School. He was a former member of the Rio Grande Fire Company.
He is survived by: a niece, Judith G. Nicewonger and her husband, Richard of New Baltimore, NY; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 1994.

Kennelly, Catherine B., 80, of Cape May Court House passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Born in Philadelphia to John and Marie (formerly Dillon) Bell, she graduated from West Catholic High School and later moved from Secane, PA to the area in 1975. She was married
to her husband Martin for 50 years before he passed in 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of The Angels Parish.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Meers of CMCH, Patricia (Ronald) Kane of Marlton, and Maureen (David Gever) Kennelly of Rhode Island; her sisters, Joan Wilson of Maryland and Suzanne Bell of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelly, William Jr., Patrick, Timothy, Kristi, John, Michael, Kevin, Caitlyn, and Kendra; and great grandchildren, Joshua, Liam, Christine, Caine, Olivia, Katie, Christopher, and Martin.
