RITA A. JOHNSON (Nee Redmond) went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2002 at her home in Mt. Laurel, NJ. She was 76 yrs. of age. Born in NYC, NY, she moved to Mt. Laurel, NJ in 1963 where she lived with her late husband Victor L. Johnson. A retired Secretary for the Mt. Laurel Board of Education she also served as a teachers aid and librarian at the Parkway School in Mt. Laurel, NJ She started there in 1965 working and volunteering there for 37 yrs. She was an active member and secretary for the Our Lady of Good Counsel PTA and worked as a Girl Scout Leader of Brownies, Jrs. & Cadets. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown, NJ, a member of the Ramblewood Civic Assoc. and wrote for the Ramblewood Crier, a Chaperone and Treasurer for the Lenape Band Parents Assoc., and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She is the beloved mother of Victor L. Johnson III of Brooksville, FL and Marcia A. Phillips of Mt. Laurel, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Kopp of Cape May, NJ and 5 Grandchildren. Johnson, Fred D.
Fred D. Johnson, 73, of Cape May Court House, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at Kindred Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born in Atlantic City and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a masonry contractor and the owner of a housing development. He was an avid golfer and was a member at Avalon Country Club, Greate Bay Golf Club, and Cape May National, where he hit a hole in one.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his sons, Fred D. Johnson, Jr. of Northeast Philadelphia, Wayne Johnson of Rio Grande, and Michael Johnson of Wildwood; his companion, Edith Knight of Cape May Court House; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen V. (Anderson) Johnson on February 22, 1990.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Elmer was a Veteran of the US MARINE CORP, who served during WWII. After the war he was a firefighter for the City of Camden for 23 years. Fred D. Johnson, Jr., 47, of Philadelphia, PA, died on July 5, 2005, at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Cape May Court House, NJ to the late Fred D. and Ellen V. (Anderson) Johnson, Sr. He lived in Bridgeton before moving to Philadelphia five years ago. He was a former member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, and a self employed subcontractor. He was an all around athlete, playing football, baseball, basketball, and track and field. He was previously involved with bowling leagues. He formerly worked at Coca-Cola in Marmora.
Fred is survived by his significant other, Michelle Linn; his children, Justin Linn, Aaron Linn, Jarek Johnson, Marissa Johnson, and Lauren Johnson; and his brothers, Wayne Johnson of Rio Grande, and Michael Johnson of Wildwood.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olive cemetery, Swainton.
