Hynek, Walter J.
Walter J. Hynek, age 77 of Long Branch died August 9, 2005 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived in East Brunswick for many years before moving to Long Branch 22 years ago. He served as select guard, Special Services, to General Douglas McArthur, US 8th Army. Mr. Hynek graduated from LaSalle University, receiving a BA in Chemistry and Physics; and from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business in 1964. Employed for 35 years at Johnson and Johnson, New Brunswick, he served as Director, Business Development, Johnson and Johnson International; and, Vice President and General Manager of Chicopee, a corporate division. In addition to receiving a Chicopee Presidential Award, he held many nonwoven textile patents. Mr. Hynek was honored as a Fellow from the American Institute of Chemists and was a member of the American Chemical Society. His writings are widely published. Mr. Hynek also served on the Board of the Long Branch Public Library; the Board of the Open Door, New Brunswick; President of HCTA, Long Branch, for 20 years; and a parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Gerturde Chocallo Hynek; his beloved daughter, Stefanie Hynek-Meyer and her husband Thomas of Millstone; a sister, Florence Kuczynski of Philadelphia, PA; and nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) Long Branch on Thursday, August 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Friday, 9:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Long Branch which will be celebrated by Mr. Hynek's nephew, Fr. Edward Kuczynski of Philadelphia. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders, P.O. IACCARINO, on Dec. 27, 2002, LOUIS A. of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of South Phila. Age 75. Loving husband of Anne Marie (nee Stenn). Beloved father of Gregory, David (Dee) and Jason, all of Marlton. Brother of Anthony Iaccarino of Phila., Francine Allonardo of Phila., and Jean Brehm of Newmanstown, PA. Also survived by his granddaughter Julia Marie. Louis is predeceased by his mother and step-father, Jean Castorina and Andrew McGuire, and his brother, Salvatore Iaccarino. Louis served in the US ARMY and is a veteran of WWII. After retiring from the US ARMY Electronics Command in Monmouth, NJ, he worked for the Gibson House, the Kings Grant Open Space Association, and Rose Remodeling, all of Marlton. IACONELLI, DANIEL G. on April 13, 2007, of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of South Philadelphia. Age 81. Husband of the late Rose Iaconelli. Beloved father of Donald Iaconelli, Christine Brownell, Elaine Wrysec and her husband Lou, and Darlene Ciquero and her husband Al. Loving PopPop of 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Daniel was a veteran of the US NAVY, who served his country during WWII. After the war, he worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 40 years as a Pressman. Mr. Iaconelli will be sadly missed by the family that he adored. Filomena Ialenti, 95, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. She was born in Monaceleoni, Italy, and lived in Staten Island, NY before moving here fifteen years ago. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Angels Church, Society of St. Benedicta, Our Lady of Good Counsel. The love of her life was her husband, Alfredo E., who survives and married
for over seventy-five years; her family and her Church. She is survived by three daughters: Victoria Gentile of Staten Island, Tina DiCera, and Lina N. DiMarzio, both of Cape May Court House; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Ialenti, Alfredo
Alfredo Ialenti, 99, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, August 14, 2004, at the Eastern Shore Nursing Center. He was born in Monacilioni, Campbasso, Italy on August 1, 1905, the son of Nicola and Victoria Iosue Ialenti. He was a retired orthopedic shoemaker having worked for the Veterans Administration. Mr. Ialenti was an Army Veteran of World War II, and fought in the Battle of Normandy. He was a devoted and faithful member of Our Lady of the Angels Church here. He was a member of the Thurston Elmer Wood Post 198 of the American Legion. He served as grand marshall at many parades; received awards for activities at the Magnolia Day Care Center; was an avid dancer and was awarded a silver cup of his dancing talent. He was thirty eight years of age when he entered the Army and was referred to as "Pop" by the young recruits. Mr. Ialenti lived in Staten Island, NY until he moved here seventeen years ago.
He is survived by three daughters: Victoria Gentile of Staten Island; Tina DiCera of Delray Beach, FL, and Lina N. DiMarzio of Cape May Court House; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of over seventy five years, Filomena, on December 31, 2002.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, August 20, 2004, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call at 11:00 AM. Ianicelli, Mary Muzzi
MARY MUZZI IANICELLI, 84, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, surrounded by her family whom she loved so very much. She was employed many years at Food Circus in Long Branch and at McDonald's of West Long Branch until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch. She loved life and had a strong will to live even until the end. Born in Boston, she spent the last 72 years living in Monmouth County.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ianicelli, in 1977; her parents, James and Mary Muzzi; two brothers, Freddy and James Muzzi; a granddaughter, Mary Ellen Goldsberry; and her stepmother, Kate Muzzi. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Tina Ianicelli of Monmouth Beach; two daughters and a son-in-law, Claire Wheeler of Ocean Township, and Maryann and Richard Smeltzer of West Long Branch; seven grandchildren, Thomas Goldsberry, James Ianicelli, Jason, Jennifer and Stephanie Smeltzer, Lisa Whalen and Regina Krook; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Michael's Church, Long Branch. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Ronald McDonald House, P.O. Beloved father of Jean Toberman (Steven), Robert (Robin), Susan, James (Heather) and Mark (Sherry). Loving grandfather of Daniel, Jacquelyn, Hannah, Alexandra, Vincent, Caroline, Samantha, and Dominic. Also survived by his brother and sister, Michael and Rita Frye ( Ernest). Lewis was a graduate of Shippensburg and Temple Universities. A veteran of the US ARMY, he served in the 432nd Eng. Construction Battalion. A teacher and vice-principal, he worked for Palmyra High School for 36 years. He was formerly the Treasurer for the Burlington County Football Club, and umpired for N.J.B.U.A. Iarossi, Ernest L.
Ernest L. Iarossi, 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at home. He was born in Westmont, NJ to Frank and Etta (Anderson) Iarossi and moved to the area in 1990 from Willingboro, NJ. He worked for the U.S. Post Office and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Iarossi is survived by his wife Barbara (Barris) Iarossi and eight children: Steve, Doug, Susan, Carol, Janet, Diane, Maryann, Sharon, and their families; his brother Frank (Doris) Iarossi and his sister Mary Jane (Matt) Braccio, as well as 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Services are to be determined at a later date at the request of the family.

Father Frank ministered in Nashville, TN at the St. Edwards parish for many years and founded and ran St. Michaels Abby and the Caleb's Retreat in Hartville, TN for many years. He enjoyed painting, photography, and reading.
