HUGHES, Mary-Lou. (nee Connelly) On July 23, 2008. Age 81. Of Honey Brook, PA formerly of Mt. Laurel and Haddonfield, NJ. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late George "Al" Hughes. Loving mother of Susan R. and her husband, John A. Bigham of Pottstown, PA, Capt. (Ret.) Louis A. Hughes and his wife Deborah of Virginia Beach, VA and Gail Hughes of Fort Collins, CO. Devoted grandma of J.A. Bigham III (Shana), Kelly Shoup (Brent), Christopher Hughes, Brooke Burger and one great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Shoup. Mary-Lou retired after thirty five years as a substitute teacher for the Haddonfield Board of Education. She was a former member of the League of Women Voters and Ramblewood Country Club. Mary-Lou attended St. John Neumann Church of Mt. Laurel and was an avid boater, bowler and golfer. She also enjoyed playing bridge, bingo and knitting. Mary-Lou and her late husband Al enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore boating and at the casinos. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday July 28th from 11-12:30 at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ 08053. HUGHES, George Alfred 'Al' on October 15, 2006 of Mt. Laurel, formerly of Haddonfield. Age 80. Beloved wife of 60 years of Mary-Lou Hughes (nee Connelly). Loving father of Susan R. and her husband, John A. Bigham of Pottstown PA, Capt. (Ret.) Louis A. Hughes and his wife, Deborah of Virginia Beach VA and Gail A. and her husband, Mark Moore of Fort Collins CO. Dear grandpa of J.A. Bigham III (Shana), Kelly Shoup (Brent), Christopher Hughes and Brooke Burger. In his college years, Mr. Hughes was a competitive gymnast and pole vaulter. Mr. Hughes retired 18 years ago from RCA/GE in Moorestown where he was a Mechanical Engineer for 40 years. He was integral in many projects including BMEWS (Ballistic Missle Early Warning System), developing the RADAR pedestal & antenna for NASA Apollo moon landing and the multi functional defense system, AEGIS. He received the NASA Apollo Achievement Award and the AEGIS Excellence Award. He loved his family, enjoyed the shore and was an avid boater. Hughes Jr., George E.
HUGHES, GEORGE E., Jr., on September 30, 2008, after suffering a massive stroke, age 65. He was surrounded by his family until the end. Devoted husband of 37 years to Evelyn Hughes. Loving father to Laura Hughes of Runnemede, NJ, Robert Hughes of Runnemede, NJ, and Kimberly (Keith) Paller of Inverness, FL. He was a wonderful grandfather to Madison Hughes, Tristen Paller, Gavin Paller and Katelyn Paller. George's sense of humor, guidance and knowledge about almost everything will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. George was a Vietnam War veteran and served in the Air Force for twenty years. He later worked for Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and was the Director of Clinical Pathology for Virtua Hospital. He also taught at the University of Pennsylvania. George loved to learn and was very well respected in his field. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Georges' life Friday October 10, 2008 at a service to be held at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM and the service will start at 2:00 PM. Friends are encouraged to share their memories of George during the service. Interment will be private at a later date. Hughes, Jr., Donald J.
Donald J. Hughes, Jr., 52 of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at his home. He was born in Abington, PA, and lived in Cape May County most of his life. He was a driver for Action Supply, and had served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He had been a member of Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club.
He enjoyed being a loving husband to his wife, Diane; a loving father to his children: Brian S. and Michele, Kori and Gregory Cirillo, and Erin R. Hughes and Nick McCaraher, all of Cape May Court House; and enjoyed being "Pop-Pop" to Evan, Paige, Tyler, Brian, and Brandon. He is also survived by his mother, Frances of Kennett Square, PA; his sisters and brothers: Sandy and Bob Hickey; Roy "Buddy" and Rose; Kevin and Linda of Kennett Square, PA, and Barbara of Baltimore, MD; and his faithful dog: "Honey".

Hugill, L. Emma
L. Emma Hugill, 90, of Dennisville, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Port Elizabeth to the late Jacob and Louise (Kahle) Helzer, she was a lifetime resident of Dennisville. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Dennis Volunteer Fire Company. She worked in the clothing factory in Woodbine, helping with the uniforms for the soldiers during the war. In 1962, she helped start the cafeteria at the Dennis Township Elementary School. She was the manager there for 25 years. She was a member of the Dennisville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and looking after her family.
She was the last immediate member of her family. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Helzer, her sister, Louella Rocap, and her husband, Robert M. Hugill. She is the beloved mother of Suzanne H. Jenkins and her husband, Frank of Dennisville, and the beloved grandmother of Todd W. Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis. Memorial donations may be made to the Dennisville United Methodist Church.

Noreen C. "Mom-Mom" Cetroni Hulit age 58, of Brick died Friday, June 3, 2005 at Medical Center of Ocean County, Brick. Born in Staten Island, she had lived in Middletown and Farmingdale before moving to Brick 19 years ago. She was known as "Mom-Mom" not only by her own grandchildren but to many others. She was a member of St Andrew's United Methodist Church, Toms River. She was predeceased by her father Edward Cetroni in 1985.
Surviving is her husband of 40 years William J. Hulit; her children and their families, Dee, Michael and Brenna Strollo, Neptune, Melissa, Rob and Jennifer Harmon, Brick; Nora Lee, Michael, and Olivia Melanson, Beachwood; Keith A. Hulit, Texas; her mother, Nora Cetroni, Brick; a sister and brother in law, Denise and Barry Nash, Palmyra, NY; a niece and nephew Guy and Lana Lafage, Point Pleasant and Michelle Lafage, Jersey City; great niece, Cheyenne; a sister in law and her husband, Joan and Jack Trainer, Mt Wolf, Pa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

VERABLE H. HULL, (age 82 yrs.) went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Riverview Estates in Riverton, NJ. Hulmes, Thomas E.
Thomas E. "Whitey" Hulmes, of North Cape May, NJ, died on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at his home. He was born on July 30, 1923, in Philadelphia, PA. He formerly lived in National Park moving here in 1962.
He was a Chief Petty Officer in the USCG serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring in 1962. He then worked at the Consolidated School in Lower Twp. as a custodian. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Cape May. "Whitey" loved sports.
He is survived by his wife, of 26 and one half years, Wilhelmina (Mina) Fisher Hulmes; and a step daughter, Chantay Faith Pangburn of Salem, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Cora E. Hunt, 84, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. Born in Andersontown, MD, she has lived here in Cape May County for the past 52 years coming from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She was a Registered Nurse and Nurse Supervisor for 15 years at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House, where she was a member of the Agenda Circle and the American Red Cross. She along with her late husband, William D., established the Bud & Cora Hunt Nursing Scholarship Fund. Her husband was also the proprietor of Hunts Theaters, Inc. of Wildwood, NJ.
She is survived by her five daughters: Nancy Steindl of Ocean View, NJ, Martha M. McMahon of St. James, NY, Amanda Hunt Greenstein of Sanibel Island, FL, Annie Hunt of Hummelstown, PA, and Paula Zizzi of Carlisle, PA; and twelve grandchildren.

HUNT, LILLIAN M. on June 2, 2007, of Voorhees, NJ. Formerly of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Wife of the late Robert G. Hunt. Loving mother of Robert H. Hunt of Poulsbo, WA. Beloved grandmother of Bradley G. Hunt and Leanne M. Gramley. Also survived by her 3 great grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua Hunt, and Robert Gramley, and her nieces and nephews, Liz Haber, Irene Zion, H. Haywood Hunt, and Robert McCullough. Lillian was a great knitter. She knitted and donated baby outfits for Deborah Heart and Lung Center and also knitted caps for cancer patients. Lillian loved to bowl, and bowled regularly up until she was 84. She was a resident at Brendenwood in Voorhees, and was a member of their knitting, flower arranging, and gardening clubs. Loving grandmother of: Tracy, Elizabeth, and Christine Hunter, S. Hunter and Kimberly Oldaker, and Tyler and Allison Kaiser. Merry'O was born and grew up in Shreveport, LA. She was proud to have been in the ROTC while in High School, participated in various clubs, had a love for cooking, music, movies, and reading. Her sense of humor will always be remembered, along with her southern accent. While living in Marlton, Merry'O worked for Clover in Cherry Hill for 23 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Knighton and sister of the late John, Viola, Joseph, Robert and Margaret. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a sister, Gertie (James) Reci. She is survived by her beloved dog, Queenie and many beloved friends. Catherine retired from Campbell Soup, Can Division after 39 years. She loved her casino trips with the Campbell Kids, all kinds of animals and having friends over for a party. Marianne Shivers Hutchinson, 62, of New Johnsonville, TN, formerly of Green Creek, died on Monday, May 6, 2002 at Camden General Hospital, Camden, TN. She was born in Atlantic City and lived in Green Creek before moving to New Johnsonville in 1987. She was a graduate of Wildwood High School Class of 1957. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, the Cape May County Riding Club, a 4-H Leader for Cape May County and Humphreys County, TN, the American Morgan Horse Club, and the Square Dance Club. She was a volunteer for the Morgan Horse Club in Tennessee and was a breeder. She taught Sunday School here.
She is survived by her husband, Herman P. "Hutch" Hutchinson; her sons, Richard A. Hutchinson of Hurricane Mills, TN, Edmund M. Hutchinson of McEwen, TN, H. Phillip Hutchinson of New Johnsonville, TN, Staff Sgt. Kevin L. Hutchinson of Ft. Campbell, KY, and George T. Hutchinson of Seattle, WA; her daughter, Elaine Hutchinson of Warren, MA; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Anglesea, 303 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood. Interment will be private in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Marianne Shivers Hutchinson, 62, of New Johnsonville, TN, formerly of Green Creek, died on Monday, May 6, 2002 at Camden General Hospital, Camden, TN. She was born in Atlantic City and lived in Green Creek before moving to New Johnsonville in 1987. She was a graduate of Wildwood High School Class of 1957. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House, the Cape May County Riding Club, a 4-H Leader for Cape May County and Humphreys County, TN, the American Morgan Horse Club, and the Square Dance Club. She was a volunteer for the Morgan Horse Club in Tennessee and was a breeder. She taught Sunday School here.
She is survived by her husband, Herman P. "Hutch" Hutchinson; her sons, Richard A. Hutchinson of Hurricane Mills, TN, Edmund M. Hutchinson of McEwen, TN, H. Phillip Hutchinson of New Johnsonville, TN, Staff Sgt. Kevin L. Hutchinson of Ft. Campbell, KY, and George T. Hutchinson of Seattle, WA; her daughter, Elaine Hutchinson of Warren, MA; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Anglesea, 303 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood. Interment will be private in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Of Maple Shade, NJ. Formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ. On December 22, 2009. Age 78. Wife of the late Theodore J. Hyland. Loving mother of Ted Hyland (Susan Klemp) and Jill Hyland (John Hutchins). Devoted grandmother of Julian, Vera, and Patrick. Loyal sister of Ruth West, Shirley Flacinski, Barbara Kosko, Carol Nyquist, and the late Maurice Nyquist. Enthusiastic aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Fast and lasting friend of many.
