Loving father of Christopher Houlday (Frances) of Millsboro, DE, Carol Larkin (James) of Milton, DE and Mark Houlday (Michele) of Hockessin, DE. Devoted grandfather of Brian and Alexander. Also survived by his brother Norman Houlday (Mildred). Albert was a policeman with the Newark Police Department Mounted Squad. He retired from the Essex County Police Department. Mr. Houlday traveled extensively with his wife to the Orient and was an avid N.Y. Giants fan. Funeral service will be private. Albert will be interred with his wife at the Brig. General William C. HOUSE, HARRY W. on July 23, 2005 of Shamong, NJ. Age 77. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Kessler) for 57 years. Devoted father of William and his wife Emy and Douglas and his wife Anne. Loving grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Jane Webernick. Prior to retirement, Harry was employed at Kelley Springfield Tire Company for 25 years and Chapel Mortgage in Rancocas for 15 years. Hovanic Jr., Charles E.

CHARLES E. "Chuck" HOVANIC JR. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 6th, 2004 at his home in Medford, NJ. He was 46 yrs. of age. Born in Chester, PA, he grew up in Ridley Twp., PA and has resided in Medford for the past 12 years moving here from Marlton, NJ. A Ret. Stock Broker with Legg Mason in Phila., PA and with Philips, Appel & Walden in Mt. Laurel, NJ he retired in 1988. A 1975 graduate of Ridley High School in Ridley Twp., PA, he went on to receive his BS in Criminal Justice from West Chester University in West Chester, PA. He is a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church in Medford, the Treasurer for the Medford Twp. Softball League and a former Cub Scout Leader. Chuck enjoyed playing softball and was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies. He is the beloved husband of Nancy T. Hovanic (Moran) of Medford, NJ and the loving father of Chuck E. III and Kevin B. Hovanic. He is also survived by his mother Laura Norton of Swathmore, PA and his sister Linda Hovanic of Myrtle Beach, SC. Hovnanian, Jirair S.

Jirair S. Hovnanian passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon at his home in Mount Laurel, NJ, after 80 years of inspiring others to live their dreams. Whether you knew him for a day or for a lifetime, Jirair made a deep and lasting impression on everyone he met. His passion for life was contagious and he lifted the spirits and hopes of all he came in contact with. He lived for his wife Elizabeth, his sons Stephen and Peter and their families, and hundreds more in his extended family. He lived for his roses and his garden. He lived for his Armenian people, supporting their efforts both in America and abroad. He lived for his entrepreneurial projects, using his gift for navigating the global perspective to achieve things that many thought impossible. But most of all, he lived the American dream, and inspired so many others to do the same. Jirair S. Hovnanian gave himself fully to all of the people and things he held so dear, and we feel immeasurably blessed to have been touched by his undying spirit.

Jirair is survived by his honeybunch Elizabeth, his 2 sons Stephen and Nancy, Peter and Theresa and 6 grandchildren Stephan & Lisa, Haig, Garo & Tamar, Karinne, Janeen & Tanya 2 great grandchildren Ariana, Christina. 3 brothers Kevork, Hirair & Vahak and 2 sisters Ano Missirian & Dido Krikorian. Howarth, Myrton E.

MYRTON E. HOWARTH of Moorestown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2nd, 2008 at the Evergreens in Moorestown, NJ. He was 92 yrs. of age. Born in Westfield, NJ, he is the son of the late William & Harriet Howarth and resided in Mt. Laurel, NJ from 1977 to 2000. He had previously lived in Plainfield, NJ from 1940 - 1977. A ret. Sr. Lab Tech. for Exxon Oil Refinery in Linden, NJ, he worked with the company from 1935 until his retirement in 1977. He is a member of the S.J. Exxon Club. He is the Beloved Husband for 67 yrs. of Vivian (Nee Henry) Howarth of Moorestown, NJ and the Loving Father of Alan C. Howarth and his wife Susan of Medford, NJ and Anne H. Redlus and her husband Howard of Westampton, NJ. He is also survived by his 5 Grandchildren Mark Redlus and his wife Jennifer, Leigh Redlus, Eric Redlus, Katherine Howarth and Kristen Howarth and his Great Granddaughter Katherine Redlus. HOWARTH, William H.

On August 10, 2008, at Age 75. Beloved husband of Anna May (nee Machristie). Proud, Devoted, Father and Friend of Dean (Michele), Robert (Pamela) and John (Jennifer). Adoring "Pop-Pop" of Alexandra, Chelsey, Samuel, Andrew, Jack, Benjamin and Jake. Dear brother of Marge Bond. Mr. Howarth earned his Bachelors in Education and Masters in Music from Combs College. He was an Educator for 34 years at Gloucester City High School. In addition to his teaching duties, he directed 22 musical productions, served as a football coach, role model and friend to countless students and colleagues during his tenure at the school. In the Gibbsboro Community, he served as a Councilman and Director of Youth Sports, also serving as Assistant Director for the CYO in South Jersey for many years. Mr. Howarth was an accomplished musician and entertainer for over 50 years. His love of golf enriched his life, especially after retirement, when he spent quality time with family and friends. CHRISTINE M. HOWARTH (Nee McCoy) passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Marlton, NJ. She was 60 yrs. of age. Born in Long Branch, NJ, she resided in Medford, NJ for most of her life. A graduate of Rancocas Valley H.S. in Mt. Holly, NJ, she is a graduate of Pierce Business College and attended B.C.C.C. where she received a degree in Teaching. She worked as a Teacher at the Lenape Kiddie College in Medford, NJ and as a Secretary for the Gaming Division for the State of NJ. She was a member of the Medford Sr. Citizens. She is the beloved wife of John Howarth Jr. of Medford, NJ, loving mother of A. John Howarth III and his wife Sharon of Atco, NJ and Patrick Howarth of Medford, NJ, and daughter of Christine (Tina) McCoy of Medford, NJ. She is also survived by her brother Jack McCoy and his wife Christine of Medford, NJ, her Granddaughter Rachel Renee Howarth and many nieces and nephews. LOUISE W. HOWARTH (Nee Whipple) of Medford, NJ passed away quietly on Friday, July 13th, 2007 at Medford Leas in Medford, NJ. She was 86 yrs. Born in Salem,MA, she is the daughter of the late Charles Augustus Whipple and Mary (Lane) Whipple and the wife of the late Samuel D. Howarth. Louise is the Beloved mother of Sandra, Joan and Hilary and Grandmother of Annabel Skye Cowden-Howarth and family members. A long time resident of Chatham, NJ, Louise moved to Medford Leas in 1998 with her late husband. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Howell, Catherine E.

Catherine E. Howell (nee Brennan), 93, of Glassboro, NJ, formerly of Denton, MD, died on June 5, 2002 at her residence.

Mrs. Howell was born in Marlton, NJ and lived in Glassboro, NJ since 1990. Prior to that she was a resident of Denton, MD from 1963-1990. She was a secretary at Collingswood High School and Col. Richardson Junior High School in Federalsberg, MD.

She was a member of the Oblates of St. Benedict at the Benedictine Monastery in Ridgely, MD; a member of Blessed Saint Katherine Drexel Court 2327; Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the Senior Chorus at the Senior Center in Glassboro.

Beloved wife of the late, Warren M. Sr. and mother of the late, Constance Lorraine. Mrs. Howell is survived by a son, Warren M. Jr. and his wife Carmen of Purcellville, VA; two daughters, Jean M. and her husband, Kenneth Glynn of Glassboro, NJ and Virginia R. and her husband, Paul George of Elephant Butte, NM; a brother, James Brennan of Stone Harbor, NJ; a sister, Constance Kerlin of Medford, NJ; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Madeline G. Howell age 85 of West Long Branch, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at St. Barnabas Hospice & Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She had been employed by Baldanza Bakery, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Post 2140, Long Branch; a member of N.A.R.F.; and a member of the West Long Branch Seniors. Born in Woodbury, CT she had lived in Eatontown before moving to West Long Branch 5 years ago. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Clementi in 1973 and a daughter, Madeline Hussey in 1995. She is survived by her husband, Walter Howell; 5 sons, Walter Clementi, Jackson; Frank Clementi, Eatontown; Victor Clementi, Jackson; John Clementi, Ocean Twp; and Walter Howell, Jr., Eatontown; 4 daughters, Patricia Wenzel, Lincroft; Kathleen Clementi, Long Branch; Rosanne Steets, West Long Branch; and Patricia Riggi, Long Branch; 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. HOWELL, CHRISTOPHER W., on April 28, 2005 of Marlton, formerly of West Deptford and Glassboro. Age 29. Devoted son of Rosemary and her husband Todd Reichard and Robert Howell and his wife Cathy. Dear brother of Ethan Howell. Loving grandson of Frank and Vivian DeMaio, Dawn Howell, Denis and Eileen Reichard and the late Martha DeMaio and Frederick Howell. Also survived by aunts and uncles, Neal, Penny, Denise, Michael, Sue, Kathy, John and the late Dr. Paul DeMaio and their spouses and children. Chris is also survived by his wonderful friends from W. Howell, Susan Marie

Susan Marie Howell, age 68 years, of Dias Creek, NJ died on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ. Susan was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Fred Curry & Seena Roode and has lived here since 1964 coming from Adak, Alaska. She retired in 2002 as a Bus Driver for Cape May County Fare Free Transportation after five years of service. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Goshen. Susan along with her husband Ray are the owners of Fox Run Farm, Dias Creek. She was a past leader of the Cape May County 4 H horse program, enjoyed camping & motorcycle riding and was a lifetime member of the National Quarter Horse Association. She especially dedicated herself to her entire family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years Ray F. Howell, Sr., her son Ray F. Howell, Jr. and his wife Debra, her daughter Cindy Seitz and her husband Dave both of Dias Creek, her three sisters; June Curry of Erma, Vanita and her husband Jack Baumgartner & Carol and her husband Ed Molchen both of Harlysville, PA, her seven grandchildren; Nicole, David, Elizabeth, Debra, Diana, Jonathan & Michael and her eight great grandchildren.

HOWELL, on November 29, 2002, THOMAS C. of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Age 65. Husband of Gloria (nee Eldridge). Father of Thomas C., II of Venice, FL, Timothy M. of Merritt Island, FL, Ted D. of Mt. Laurel, and Tracy B. Apple of Marlton, NJ. Beloved grandfather of his 8 grandchildren, Justin, Christian, Luke, Paige, Jonathan, Caleb, Melody, and Lauren. Mr. Howell was a Veteran of the US Navy. Howell, Sr., Walter

Walter Howell, Sr. age 85, of West Long Branch died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at home. He was a stationary engineer at Fort Monmouth before retiring. During WWII, he was a combat medic in the U.S. Army. He served in Leyte Okinawa and Korea. Wounded in Okinawa, he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2140, Long Branch; the Purple Heart Club; N.A.R.F. and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a parishioner of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandpa. Now he rests with the angels. He was predeceased by two wives, Carolyn Howell in 1961 and Madeline Howell in 2004; and a daughter, Midge Hussey in 1995. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Walter and Ann Howell, Jr., Patricia and Sal Riggi, Rosanne and Bob Steets, Pat and Don Wenzel, Frank and Gloria Clementi, Victor and Pat Clementi, Kathleen Clementi, Walter Clementi, John Clementi and his fiancé Claire Morson; a son in law, Tony Hussey; and 46 loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. HOYER, MABLE U. (nee Smith) on April 21, 2005 of Marlton. Age 84. Beloved wife of the late Loenard C. Hoyer. Loving sister of Katherine E. Starke of Berlin and the late Ethel M. Courts and George and Leslie Smith. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Mable was employed as a secretary and phone operator for Goodwill Industries in Camden. She was also a longtime member of Wiley Church in Marlton. ANDREW J. HOYT of Shamong, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at home surrounded by his family. He was 36 yrs. of age. Born in Bronx, NY, he resided here most of his life, recently moving here from Linden, NJ. A teacher and coach for the Oratory Prep School in Summit, NJ, Andrew was a graduate of the class of 1989 at Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ and received his degree in American History from Monmouth College in 1993. He is a Past Pres. Of the Honors History Society at Monmouth Col. and the Head Coach for the Oratory Prep Varsity Baseball Team. He is the Beloved Husband of Karen V. (Nee Schick) Hoyt of Shamong, NJ and the Loving Son of Kenneth and Ann Hoyt of Shamong, NJ. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Wendee & Chris Trefz of Linden, NJ. Hrivnak, Jr, George A.

George A. Hrivnak, Jr. age 75 of West Long Branch, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at home. He was an electrical engineer at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown for 35 years retiring in 1993. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1955, and was an avid tennis player. He served his country honorably in the US Army. Mr. Hrivnak was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, West Long Branch. Born in Pittsburgh, he had lived in Neptune before coming to West Long Branch in 1972.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Esther Sprankle Hrivnak; 2 sons, Stephen Hrivnak, Tinton Falls, and Michael Hrivnak, Valley Forge, Pa; a daughter, Stephanie Pastorius, Chester, NJ; a sister, Helen Hrivnak, Tarentum, PA; and a grandson, Grant Pastorius.

(A Memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.)

Hubbard, Wilson T. "Billy"

Wilson T. "Billy" Hubbard, age 65 of Little Silver died Thursday, July 8, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a salesman for the Consolidated Simon of Union, formerly the New Jersey Tobacco Co., Neptune, retiring on June 30, 2004. He was born in Long Branch and a resident of the area for 43 years. He was a graduate of Long Branch High School. He was an Eagle Scout, BSA Troop #71. He was member of the Order of the Arrow, Past Great Sachem Redman Tecumsah, Tribe #60. He loved fishing and an avid Nascar racing fan.

He was predeceased by his mother, Irma Hendrickson Hubbard. Surviving is his wife, L. Anne "Flower" Rosse Hubbard; two sons, David Ross and his wife Theresa of Poughkeepsie, NY and Nicholas John and his wife Cathy of Little Silver; his father, E. Wilson Hubbard of Long Branch; a brother, Eugene Richard Hubbard of Oakhurst; four granddaughters Danielle, Diana, Dana, Melissa and a grandson, Nicholas John, Jr.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Sunday from 1-5 pm. Funeral Monday, July 12, at 10:30 am at the funeral home with a service to begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Hamilton cemetery, Neptune.

Hubbard Jr., Jesse Michael

Jesse Michael Hubbard, Jr., age 65 years of Wildwood, died on Friday at his home. "Jackie" as he was known to all; was born to Jesse Michael Hubbard, Sr. and Victoria (nee Crippen) Bowen on October 21, 1940 in Norwell, MA. He was the third of four children and departed this life on August 11, 2006. Jackie was raised in Philadelphia, PA and attended Philadelphia Catholic Schools before moving to Wildwood, NJ where he continued his education at Wildwood High School. In 1957 Jackie joined the Marines and served four years for his country. Coming home from the service he met Mary Wolef whom he married in 1963. Jackie worked in the construction field for a long period of his life before he began employment with the Woodbine Developmental Center, was a Plasterer working in our local communities and after that with the New Jersey Department of Transportation as a Bridge Operator at the George Reading Bridge; having retired in 2000 after 18 years of service.

Jackie was a man we will always remember for various reasons. He was very well loved and respected by his family and friends. He was always ready to give advice and tell you like it was. He was honest and loving and for all that he will be sadly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary (nee Wolef) Hubbard, his mother Victoria Bowen, his three children; Michael and his wife Lillian Hubbard, Jacqueline Hubbard, & Maurice and his wife Angela Hubbard, six grandchildren; Prince Andre Hubbard, Natasha Hubbard, Imani Hubbard, Maurice Hubbard, Jr., Mariah Hubbard & Keith Nelson, brothers in law, sisters in law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Michael Hubbard, Jr., step-father Ben Bowen, brothers Carl and Richard Hubbard and his sister Carol Hinten. Although Jackie will be sadly missed by family and friends, his memory will live on in our hearts.

Funeral Service 1:00 p.m.., Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House where relatives and friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.
