Beloved Wife of Charles W. for 57 years; Devoted and Loving Mother of Terri Horn of Pennsauken and her companion Chuck Sauter; her late granddog, Mandi; Dear Sister of Aloysius 'Bud' Robinson and his wife, Mary of Port Angeles, Washington, Helen and her husband Karel Wojtech of Berkley Heights, NJ; Stepsister of Blanche Deeney of Voorhees, NJ; Sister in law of Evelyn Nasielski of Haddon Heights, NJ; Dear Aunt of Michael Robinson and his wife Sharon of Port Angeles, Washington and many other nieces and nephews. Also survived by many loving and caring friends and colleagues.

She attended the St. Francis School of Nursing in Trenton, New Jersey where she received her RN certification and Glassboro College where she received her Bachelors Degree in School Nursing. Prior to retiring in 1997, Mrs. Horn was the beloved school nurse for the HC Sharp School in Camden for over 27 years where she touched the lives of many teachers, students and parents throughout her 60 year nursing career.

She was a proud member for over 25 years of the Camden County Chapter West Jersey Federation of Democratic Women, New Jersey School Nurses Association and the New Jersey Education Association.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral on Friday 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Stephen 6300 Browning Road Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr. NJ. Visitation and Vigil Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday after 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Stephen's Church at the above address, Cancer Center at Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, 175 Madison Avenue, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060 or the Animal Adoption Center of Lindenwold, 501 N. Berlin Road, Lindenwold, NJ

Horn, Juanita K.

Juanita Kirk Horn, 69 yrs of age died on Friday at the Shore Memorial Hospital; Somers Point, New Jersey. Born in Bath, PA she has lived here for the past 40 years coming from her hometown of Bath, PA.

Mrs Horn is survived by her son James Jones of Villas, NJ. Her brother Lamar Kirk of Allentown, PA. Her companion Stephen Forsyth of North Wildwood, NJ. She is also survived by her two grandchildren James and Sara Jones.

Mrs Horns' service and interment are Private at Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Memorial donations may be in her memory to the ARC of Cape May County, 822 Delsea Drive, South Dennis, NJ 08245.

Hornbeck, Joan G.

Joan G. Hornbeck, 63, of Rio Grande, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at her home. She was born in Wildwood and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a court clerk for the Cape May County Court System. She was a member of St. Raymond's' Church and was involved with the Middle Township High School Band, the CYO, the Quilt Club and square dancing.

Mrs. Hornbeck is survived by her three sons, Frank Hornbeck, III of Rio Grande, Thomas J. Hornbeck of Brick, and James D. Hornbeck of Rio Grande; her brother, Thomas G. Dermott of Rio Grande; her sisters, Elizabeth Dermott of Port Richey, FL, and Barbara Mollenkof of Villas; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Frank" C. Hornbeck, II on April 7, 1992.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, September 13, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore Road, Villas, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial donations may be made to the Office of Institutional Advancement, Thomas Jefferson University, 925 Chestnut Street, Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19107-4216, ATTN: Neurology Department.

Horneff, Joseph P.

HORNEFF, JOSEPH P. on August 31, 2004 of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Age 62. Beloved husband of Barbara C. (nee Krause). Dear father of Randall, Gregory, Commander Jeffrey Horneff, Cathy Lafferty and Lauren Turk. Also survived by his mother Lula Horneff, a brother Donald and a sister Patricia Nolan. 6 Grandchildren Sarah, Katie, Kevin, Karli, Koryn and Annabella. An auditor for the NJ State Police, formerly a loan officer for Aurora Financial Group Inc. of Marlton and RFC. A graduate of Audubon High School, Rutgers Unv. Camden and formerly a member of the Air National Guard. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday from 7-8:30 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South and Evesham Rd. in Marlton. Horner, Ellen V. Jones

Ellen V. Jones Horner, age 60 of Monmouth Beach, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She graduated from Elizabeth General Hospital Nursing School in 1966 and has been a registered nurse for almost 40 years. She worked in various disciplines in the nursing profession, her most recent position was as Case Manager at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She also graduated from Monmouth University's Paralegal Studies Program in 1997. Born in Teaneck, she had lived in California before moving to Monmouth Beach in 1994.

She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley F.G. and Mary P. Jones, and a sister, Francis Jones Richardson.

Surviving are her brothers and sisters and their families, Stanley and Mary Carmen Jones, Florida; Mary Ann and Joseph Dormady, Michigan; Richard and Maggie Jones, California; Kathleen Dunford, Monmouth Beach; Stephen and Margaret Jones, North Carolina; Elizabeth Smith, New Mexico; Virginia and Michael Boyle, Florida; and Robert and Mary Ann Jones, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews and their families, all of whom she held dearly in her heart.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on corner of Third Ave. Long Branch on Monday, March 7, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday at 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at the Roman Catholic Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Monmouth County Food Bank, 3300 Route 66, Neptune, NJ 07753 or Habitat for Humanity, 167 Hoey Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740.

Horner, James W.

James W. Horner, 71, of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Oceana Nursing Center. Born in Philadelphia to the late Andrew and Elsie (Halligan) Horner, he moved here in October after living in Florida for five years. Prior to moving to Florida, he lived in Philadelphia and worked for SKF Industries. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Mr. Horner is survived by his children, Geraldine Eberly, Arlene Yagecic, James Horner, David Horner, and Jennifer Ashbridge; his brothers, Russell, Gerald and Edmund Horner; his sisters, Brenda Miluzzo and Louise Elsie Kenny; 19 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elaine Horner.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaville Methodist cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

Hornik, Rosemarie

ROSEMARIE HORNIK, 72, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Monday at home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch.

Hornsby, Herbert L.

Herbert L. Hornsby, 85, of Stone Harbor, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on March 11, 1921 and was raised in Minotola and Ocean View.

Mr. Hornsby was a 1940 graduate of Middle Township High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII for four and one half years as a motor machinists mate 1st Class; he was a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailor Association of WWII; the Stephen C. Ludlam Post of the American Legion and the VFW Post in Marmora. He was a building contractor operating as Herbert and Hornsby and retired from the Stone Harbor Construction Inspectors' Office. He served as a volunteer for the Stone Harbor Fire Company and was a member of the Stone Harbor Realty Associatiion and was recognized for fifty years of service. Mr. Hornsby also served on the Boro Council from 1966 to 1972; he also served as Stone Harbor building inspector; fire inspector; plumbing inspector and plumbing inspector for Dennis, Lower and Middle Townships.

He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church of Stone Harbor.

He is survived by his wife, Marian E. (Herbert) Hornsby; three sons: Herbert L., Jr. and his wife, Maryann of Wildwood Crest; Mark and his wife, Jeanette of Goshen and Cliff of Ruskin, FL and two grandchildren: Courtney and Mitchell.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Stone Harbor, NJ where friends may visit at 1 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Foundation, Two Stone Harbor Blvd., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Hornsey, Kathleen M.

Kathleen M. Hornsey(D'Amico), 72, of Rio Grande, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John K. and Kathryn (Honer) Matthews, she moved to Avalon at age 6 and his been an area resident since then. She was a graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School Class of 1954.

After the birth of her daughter, Kay-Kay, she dedicated her entire life to the Cape May County ARC. She was formerly the executive director and the group home project director for the ARC. She was involved with the Greater Wildwood Little League and the Jayceettes. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and a former member of Assumption Church Altar and Rosary Society. She worked as a home health aide for Holy Redeemer. She started working at Bright Real Estate, then obtained her real estate license and worked at James C. Otton's Coldwell Banker and Hand's Realtors. She also worked at DaVita and Pier 47. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and going to the casinos. She especially liked working and playing on the computer. She was a faithful dogsitter of Samantha.

Mrs. Hornsey is survived by her husband, Robert W. Hornsey, Jr.; her children, Kathryn (Kay-Kay) D'Amico of Erma, Donna Piscitelli and her husband, Jeff of Cumming, GA, Daniel John D'Amico of Absecon, Anne Theresa Lynn and her husband, Stephan of Charlotte, NC, and Virginia Ann Forbes and her husband, Ian of County Clare, Ireland; her four stepchildren; her seven grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, and Nicholas Piscitelli, and Ashley, Jayme, Brendan, and Tyler Lynn; her eight step grandchildren; her three step great grandchildren; her sisters, Rita C. Molloy of Pocono Lake, PA and Irene K. Matthews of Matthews, NC; and her former husband, Donato "Dan" D'Amico of Wildwood Crest.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's cemetery, Goshen. Horsman, Joan Henry Snider

JOAN HENRY SNIDER HORSMAN, 68, of LONG BRANCH, died yesterday at The Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a telephone operator and worked in admitting at Monmouth Medical Center for 25 years, retiring six years ago. She was a parishioner of Asbury United Methodist Church, North Long Branch. Born in Perth Amboy, she was a life resident of Long Branch.

Surviving are four daughters, Joan Baum-Barlow of Neptune, Judy Muzzi of Toms River, and Carol Fiore and Ellen Snider Massaro, both of Long Branch; two sons, Harold and James Snider, both of Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Raymond W. Henry of Neptune and Donald Henry of Long Branch; a sister, Ruth Schubring of Wall; nine grandchildren, Dawn, Paula, Carolyn, Barbra, Joseph, Kelli, Margaret, Juliet and Nicole; and nine great-grandchildren, Courtney, Terrence, Terrell, Kristy, Alexis, Kailyn, Samantha, Collette and Camrin.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Asbury United Methodist Church, North Long Branch. Donations can be made to the Center for Hospice Care, 187 Millburn Ave., Millburn, NJ 07041.

HORTON, Chad Joseph

Age 22. Of Huntersville, NC, formerly of Marlton, NJ. passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Beloved son of Lucille and Charles Horton. Dear brother of Kira, Curtis and Everett (and wife Jodi) Horton. Grandson of Virginia and Bob Custard.

Horvat, Dennis John

Dennis John Horvat, 59, of Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center - Mainland Division. Born in McKeesport, PA to the late John and Helen (Hamar) Horvat, he had lived here for 22 years after moving from West Mifflin, PA. He was a certified public works manager as supervisor/assistant director of Public Works for the Borough of Avalon. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and a fourth degree knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #12184.

Mr. Horvat is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda; his son, Joseph, at home; and his brothers, Alan of West Mifflin, PA, and Stanley of Pennsylvania.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Viewings will be held on Monday, December 4, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring. Horvath, Joan F.`

Joan F. Horvath, 64, of Cape May Court House, NJ for many years, died on Sunday, October 20, 2002, at the Mainland Division of the Atlantic City Medical Center. She was born in Norwalk, CT. She was a retired substitute coordinator/secretary for the Middle Township Board of Education for fourteen years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church here. She was involved in many school activities including band and assisting in the SAT testing on Saturday mornings. She enjoyed crafts including ceramics and collecting photos.

She is survived by her husband, Donald F., Sr.; son: Donald F., Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Cape May Court House; four daughters: Karen B. (Glen) Ortman of Cape May Court House, Donna H. (Mike) Millen of Myrtle Beach, SC, Susan L. (Bryan) White, and Cindy A. Geary and her fiancé, Jack Schill of Cape May Court House; brother: Stanley Poremba and his wife, Patricia; aunt: Lucille Dudas both of Norwalk, CT; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Poremba.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2002, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, where friends may call Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House. Houck, Jr., Charles H

On June 16, 2005 of Berlin, NJ formerly of Barrington, NJ age 75 yrs. Beloved husband of Ann (nee. Ellis). Devoted father of Joanne Murtha and her husband John of Barrington and C. Jay Houck and his wife Jill of Barrington. Dear brother of Ellen Dromgoole and her husband John and the late Wollard Houck, Sr. Loving grandfather of Dawn and her husband Phil, John, Jason and his wife Theresa, Zachary, and Timothy. Also survived by two step sons Bob and Gary Hutchison. Born in Barrington, Mr. Houck served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Houck was the President of Houck Service Company, a Life Member, Past President and Assistant Fire Chief of the Barrington Fire Company No. 1, A Life Member of the NJ State Firemen's Association, Past Treasurer and Member of the South Jersey Oil Heat Service Managers and a Life Member of Tavistock County Club. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing of Sunday evening from 6 to 9PM and again on Monday morning from 9:30am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd. Barrington, NJ. Houkes, Rosalie Helen

Rosalie Helen Houkes, of Cape May Court House, formerly of Ocean City and Wilmington, Delaware died peacefully on November 14, 2009. Born on December 7, 1928 to Edward and Edith Spindler in New York, she graduated as the Valedictorian of her High School (PS 37) Class of 1946. She later graduated from the Brown Business School in New York City and worked at Bell Telephone in New York City and Philadelphia before starting a family. She was a member of the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington and loved the seashore, especially walking on the boardwalk with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William H. Houkes, three children, William W. Houkes (Laurie), Susan M. Rovai (Philip), and Elizabeth A. Sheeran (Gregory); three grandchildren, Michael G. Sheeran (Christina), Jennifer R. Sheeran; and Abigail E. Houkes.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Rosalie's name to the Stone Harbor Fire Department, P.O. Box 579, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.

On January 28, 2008. Of Mt Laurel, formerly of W. Orange, NJ. Age 89. Beloved wife of Albert J. Houlday. Loving mother of Christopher (Frances) Houlday of Millsboro, DE, Carol (James) Larkin of Milton, DE, and Mark (Michele) Houlday of Hockessin, DE. Devoted grandmother of Brian and Alexander. Dear sister of Mary Galavage of Roselle, NJ. Mrs. Houlday was an avid reader, seamstress and gardener. Funeral Services will be private.
