Higgins, Thomas F.
Thomas F. Higgins, age 88, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed away on November 1, 2007, at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late John Joseph and Jeanne (nee Charles) Higgins.
He served in the United States Army during World War II from October, 1944 to August, 1946. He was employed by Willet Stained Glass in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA. In 1947, he married
his wife, Anna C. (nee Watson), who survives.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.

High, Elmira Dorothy, 89, of Avalon, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she had lived here since March 1991. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from Temple University. She was a schoolteacher at the Hackett School in Philadelphia. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Avalon and was a member of the Avalon Seniors Club.
Miss High is survived by her sisters, Rebecca High of Avalon, Frances Mikota of Avalon, and Catherine Schmitt of Philadelphia.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 11 a.m. at West Laurel Hill cemetery Chapel, Belmont Ave., Philadelphia, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill cemetery.

Holly, NJ, she has resided in Hampton Lakes for the past 45 yrs. A Life Member of the Hampton Lakes Fire Company, she joined the Company in 1973. She is also a member of the Hampton Lakes Auxiliary, a Life & Contributory Member of the Hampton Lakes Emergency Squad, a Charter Member of the Moorestown Chapter of Deborah Heart & Lung and a member of the Marlton United Methodist Church. She is a former teller for the Burl. Co. National Bank in Medford, NJ and the Southwest National Bank in Fl. Gloria is the Beloved Wife of Frederick C. HILDRETH, HARRY F. of Cherry Hill, NJ died Sunday, November 11, 2007 with his wife Regina (nee Maas) by his side. Born in Philadelphia the son of the late Emily and Harry F. Hildreth, a champion runner, and brother of the late Evelyn H. Cadwallader. Survived by his brother-in-law, Harvey Cadwallader of South Carolina, nieces Barbara Folkeson of California and Linda De Clemente of Florida and Washington, DC, and a sister-in-law Margaret M. Chalmers of New Hampshire. An electrical engineering graduate of Drexel University and in a Master's Program in E.E. at The University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hildreth a former Manager, Automatic Generation Control Analog Engineering, was a long-time employee of the Leeds & Northrup Company, North Wales, PA. A sports enthusiast Mr. Hildreth was a member of the Riverton Country Club and a former President of the Jersey Skiters Ski Club plus other organizations. Caring daughter of Bernard and Margaret Muscelli. Dear sister of Ronald and his wife Dolores Muscelli. Donna will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. The combined qualities of warm inner beauty with an infectious laugh and a compassionate heart are only a little of what made our Donna special. To her precious son Jake she was a doting mother, school project asst., full time chauffeur, utility infielder, goalie, and often the opposing team. She will continue to look after him from heaven on high. Donna's friends are many and each held a special place in her life. Only Donna could manage her ambitious hard working husband, Wayne. The unique love, affection, and deep understanding they shared lives in the home they built and the memories of the life they lived together. HILL, Lewis G.
On July 14, 2005, Mr. Hill, age 89, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Care One in Evesham with his family by his side. He was born to Martha and George in 1916, and lived in Trenton until 1980, when he moved to Marlton to live with his daughter and family. His beloved wife, Anna Babyak Hill, preceded him in death on July 18, 1980. He lived for the last 25 years with their only child, Judith and husband Glenn Berryann, in Marlton. He leaves two grandchildren, Jennifer and Gregory, whom he adored and watched grow up. Grandpop will be dearly missed in their lives. He was a lifelong dedicated Uncle to Evelyn (Pittsburgh), Pauline (Trenton), Emil (Florida) and William (deceased) Bohus. He was also Uncle to Dennis (Ohio) and Andrea (Bensalem) Petruska and also Godfather to Dennis. Uncle Lew was also Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews and had many cousins. Mr. Hill served his country during WWII as a gunner on a PT Boat in the South Pacific. He joined the Trenton Police Department in 1951 and retired in 1980. During his career as a policeman, he was a patrolman, detective in vice, traffic patrol and promoted to Sergeant in 1975. Mr. Hill enjoyed taking long rides along the Jersey shore, in the countryside and in the Pinelands enjoying nature. He also enjoyed feeding the birds and chipmunks every day. His beloved dogs, Butchie and Sweetie, will miss him dearly. Mr. Hill was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Berlin. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Friday, July 22 and 9-10am Saturday, July 23 at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd, Marlton. Hill, Harriet Sayers, 85, of Stone Harbor, NJ and Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Court House Convalescent Center. She was born in Niles, OH to the late William Orr and Gladys (Beek) Sayers. She attended the Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing with a BS/RN. She worked at the Presbyterian Hospital, the Children's Hospital in Boston, and the New England Medical Center, also in Boston, before retiring to raise a family. Harriet was a member of Trinity-By-The-Cove Episcopal Church in Naples. She was a member of the Collier Athletic Club where she was active in exercise and water aerobics. She was also an avid tennis player. She was a member of the Philharmonic Museum of Art and volunteered at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts. She was an accomplished artist in the area of decorative arts and she loved to travel.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband of 60 years, James M. Hill, Jr.; her children, Joyce Hill Ruterman, Heather Hill Holmes, and James M. Hill, III; and her four grandchildren. D. JAMES HILL of Medford, NJ, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 3, 2004 at the Virtua Health & Rehab Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 80 years of age. Born in Colchester, VT, he resided in Medford for the past 18 yrs. moving there from Harrisburg, PA. He is the son of the late Delmer J. and Mary Ellen Hill. A Ret. Architect he owned and operated Vanguard Hill, Inc. in Medford, NJ. As an architect he was on the cutting edge of design in the 1950's and was involved in the manufacturing of affordable housing and development of patents to reduce the cost of manufacturing. An avid follower of National and International politics, he was the Director of ACES and ran for Congress in 1994. He was also a Veteran of WWII serving with the Army Air Corp as a 1st Lt. where he was a Flight Instructor and C-46 Pilot flying in the China-Burma-India Theatre. He also served in the Vt. National Guard and enjoyed bird watching and writing. He is the beloved husband of 40 yrs. of Pat (Nee Caister) Hill and the loving father of Shawn Hill of W. Huntington, VT, Dr. Scot Hill of NYC, NY, Bard Hill and his wife Judy of Richmond, VT, Della J. Freeman and her husband Pierre and Laura D. Joseph Andrew Hill age 51, of Long Branch died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a carpenter with the Carpenter's Union, in Red Bank. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he had been a life resident. Joe was a devoted father, husband, son, brother and uncle. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Hill, Jr.
Surviving is his wife, Cheryl Cosentino Hill; 2 daughters, Lindsey and Brittani; his parents, Andrew and Joan Tomaino Hill, West Long Branch; 2 brothers and a sister in law, James A. Hill, Eatontown; Jason P. and Nicole Hill, Middletown; a sister, Andrea Hill Spinosa, Freehold; his companion, Shelly Hahn; his uncle and aunt, Anthony and Darlene Tomaino, Toms River; a nephew, Scott Merola; and a niece, Jennifer Rose Hill.

The Mass of Resurrection will be said on Wednesday, January 9, 2002, at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and E. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ where relatives and friends may call 10 am. to 11:45 am. Interment will be private. The Our Lady of the Angels Church is located at the exit of E. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, south of Exit 10 on the Garden State Parkway.
Hilyard, Doris
DORIS HILYARD (Nee Adam), of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the age of 98 yrs. Born in Southampton, England, she resided in Leisuretowne, in Southampton, NJ and Collingswood, NJ, before moving the the Lutheran Home in Moorestown, NJ. She is the wife of the late Howard N. Hilyard and is the Beloved Mother of Doris H. Cranston of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ and Margaret Sumner of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by her Grandchildren James, David and John Cranston and Sandy, Debbie, Phyllis and Sherri Sumner and also 11 Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600), where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ. Himes, Walter J.
Walter J. Himes, 93, of Stone Harbor, died on Wednesday, August 03, 2005 at home. He was born in Phoenixville, PA and moved here in 1976 after retirement. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion in Stone Harbor.
Mr. Himes is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Himes of Philadelphia; his son, Thomas Himes of Stone Harbor; and his grandson, Noah H. Greene and his wife, Mary.
Private graveside services will be held at the Cape may County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
