HELGESON, Alice M. (nee Melson) on August 16, 2004 of Voorhees, formerly of Merchantville and Leisuretown NJ. Age 95. Devoted wife of the late Frank N. Helgeson. Loving mother of Peter Helgeson and his wife, Madelon of Southampton NJ. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Dollar, 1 granddaughter, Deborah Swavely and 3 great grandsons, Daniel, Nicholas & Aaron. Born in Sharptown MD, Mrs. Helgeson graduated from Camden High School class of 1927 and graduated from what is now Rowan University class of 1929. She taught 2nd grade in the Collingswood School District. New Seasons of Voorhees was her home for the past 5 years and she loved everyone there. Services are private. Helinek, Jr., Frank Joseph
Frank Joseph Helinek, Jr., 85, of Avalon, NJ and Spring Mount, PA, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frank Joseph and Anna J. (O'Brien) Helinek, Sr. He was awarded a scholarship at age 16 to the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was the owner of Delva Associates, Inc. in Glenside, PA.
Mr. Helinek is survived by his wife, Marie (Watson) Helinek; his children, Jane, Linda, Susan, Brent, Megan, and Todd; his grandchildren, Robby, Susan, TJ, Melissa, Kristen, Chad, and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Megan Makayla, and Jared.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Maris Stella Chapel, 25th Street and First Avenue, Avalon, NJ and on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11:00 at St. Mary's Church, Spring Mount Road, Spring Mount. Hellings, Edith Worthington
Edith Worthington Hellings, 87, of North Cape May, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2002. She was born in Philadelphia and lived in the Germantown section until she moved here on March 15, 1957. She was a graduate of Germantown High School Class of 1933. She was a member of Bayshore Community Church, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 156 of Cape May, the Golden Agers, the Groupees of Cape May, the Christian Women's Club, and the Young In Heart, where she was also Treasurer. She participated in many of the senior activities at the Millman Center in Villas and was a caller for many of the Bingo Clubs in Cape May County.
Mrs. Hellings is survived by her sons, W. Speese Hellings, Jr. of Clovis, CA, and Richard Hellings of Clermont; her sisters, Ruth Ann Wolfe of Easton, PA, and Helen Harland of Mt. Holly; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Speese Hellings, Sr. on April 7, 1968 and her daughter, Edith Hellings Craven in April 2001.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayshore Community Church, Washington Blvd., North Cape May, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 5, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Bayshore Community Church, 400 Indian Avenue, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
Hellings, Richard A.
Richard A. Hellings, 63, of Clermont, NJ, died on Saturday, October 22, 2005, at home. He was born in Germantown, PA, and moved to Cape May County on March 15, 1957. He was the son of the late Walter Speese and Edith Worthington Hellings who preceded him in death.
He was a manager for the Rite Aide Corporation and formerly worked for the W.T. Grant Store in Cape May Court House, NJ for ten years. He was the pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Goshen, NJ, and was associated with the First United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House and the Bayshore Community Church in North Cape May. He was a member of the Hereford Masonic Lodge and was Worshipful Master, Secretary and a past master of the Lodge which he was very active. He also was a patron of the Order of the Eastern Star; the Artisans; he enjoyed drama in Church programs; and was active in Church youth programs.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Roorbach Hellings; two sons: Richard A., II of Soldotna, Alaska, and Gregory S. of Cape May Court House, NJ; his brother: W. Speese Hellings, Jr. of Clovis, CA. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Hellings Craven in April, 2001.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, North Main St., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call 10:00 AM until time of service. A viewing will also be on Wednesday, October 26, 2005, from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, with Masonic Services at 8:00 PM. KATHARINA HELLMAN passed away on April 14th, 2005 in the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Marlton, NJ. A resident of Medford, NJ for the past 4 years, she had formerly lived in Toms River, NJ. She was 85 yrs. of age and was born in Germany. Katharina was the wife of the late Ludwig Hellmann and was survived by her daughter Linda Russ of Medford, NJ and her son Herbert Hellman of Toms River, NJ. Hellwege, Mark S.
Mark S. Hellwege, age 44 of Oakhurst died Saturday August 12, 2006 at Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a heating, ventilation and air conditioner mechanic for TVS, Inc., Ft Monmouth, Eatontown for 7 years. He graduated from Rider College in 1985 and attended the Oakhurst United Methodist Church, in Oakhurst. Born in Long Branch, he had been a life resident of Oakhurst. He was predeceased by his mother, Nina Nanna Hellwege.
Surviving is his wife, Pamela Howell Hellwege; a son Stephen M. Hellwege, 2 daughters, Amanda L. Hellwege and Katherine M. Hellwege, all at home; 2 brothers and sister in law, Victor and Elisabeth Hellwege, Cornwall on the Hudson, NY; Richard Hellwege, Miami, Fla; a sister, Kathryn Hellwege, Hamilton, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 16, from 2-4, 7- 8:30 pm followed by a funeral service to begin at 8:30 pm from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Helmandollar, Patricia A., 79, of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away peacefully with her loving husband of 54 years by her side on May 12th, 2009. Born in Yeadon, PA, Pat was a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone, Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital and Cape Regional Medical Center. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will truly be missed by her husband, Harvey J. Helmandollar, Jr.; her five children: Marynell, Harvey III, John, Mark, and Drew; ten grandchildren: Nicole, Jennifer, Michael, Victoria, Rachel, Brooke, Matthew, Mitchel, Annette, and Tiffany; five great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Shane, Seth, Emily, and Nicholas; sisters: Mary Lou, Carol, and Marie; brother Michael; in-laws: Ann, Sandy, and Sam; and loads of nieces and nephews.

Helmandollar, Jr., Harvey James
Harvey James Helmandollar, Jr., 85, of Ocean View, NJ, went home to be with his soulmate and wife of 55 years Patricia on July 15th, 2009. Born in Tazewell, VA on July 14th, 1925 to Dora and Harvey Helmandollar Sr., Harvey began his career as a young man working in the Virginia coal mines with his father, Harvey Sr. Harvey enlisted in the Navy during World War II with his brothers and served in the U.S. Navy for over 25 years. He retired as a Chief Gunners Mate in 1966 to raise his growing family. After retiring from the Navy, Harvey also worked and retired from Gulf Oil Company and was also employed by Boeing Vertol.
Harvey was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will be truly missed by his five children: Marynell, Harvey III, John, Mark, and Drew. His 10 grandchildren: Nicole, Jennifer, Michael, Victoria, Rachel, Brooke, Matthew, Mitchel, Annette, and Tiffany. His 5 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Shane, Seth, Emily, and Nicholas. Sisters: Ann and Sandy. Brother: Samuel. Harvey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia, whom he dearly missed. Although Harvey tried to push on in life for his family, he was a lost soul without her by his side. Also preceded in death by his sisters: Virginia, Margie, and Betty, and brother Preston.

Helmken, Louis Charles
LOUIS CHARLES HELMKEN, 64, of LONG BRANCH, died yesterday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was also known as "The Owl." He worked for Coast Hardware, Long Branch, until 1965 and then became a state corrections officer with the East Jersey Shore State Prison and Adult Diagnostic Center, where he retired as a captain in 1992. He graduated from Morristown High School Class of 1957. He enlisted in the Army and served until 1962. He obitpix was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Morristown, he lived in West Long Branch before moving to Long Branch.
He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Helen Piscitelli Helmken, in 1997; his parents, Louis and Anna May Titman Helmken; a brother, Walter Helmken; and a sister, Betty Jean Litman. Surviving are his life long friend and companion of five years, Andrea Binford; her five children and spouses along with her eight grandchildren; two nephews and a niece, Michael and Stacey Campbell and their son, Michael A. Campbell Jr., Thomas Anthony Campbell and many other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 8:30 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. William C. Helveston, 74, of Villas, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at his home. Born in Philadelphia to the late William C. and Margaret (Sulzer) Helveston, he moved here over 15 years ago from Pennsylvania. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Simeon's By The Sea Church and the American Legion. He was formerly employed as a driver for Cape Counseling.
Mr. Helveston is survived by his wife, Ann G. Heap-Helveston; his daughter, Ruth Reagle and husband Dave; and his four grandchildren.

Henderson, Oscar
Oscar Henderson, 91, of Wildwood Crest, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2003, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Stockingtown, NJ, he has lived here since 1960 coming from Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of Wildwood Crest Community Church and a member of the Swim Club at the Von Savage Pool in Wildwood Crest. He was First Mate on the Pink Flamingo Sightseer. He was a maintenance man for the Borough of Wildwood Crest from 1961-1972.
He is survived by his three daughters: Patricia Carson of Hatfield, PA, Georganne McPherson of Cape May Court House, and Dorothy Unruh of Wildwood Crest; eighteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. His wife, Annie (nee Smith), preceded him in death, in 1993.
A Memorial Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Wildwood Crest Community Church, 5901 Pacific Av., Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260. Memorials may be made to the church.

Farm Bureau, the Medford Grange #36 where he was a former Master, the Medford Odd Fellows Lodge #100 and he was a former 4H Leader for over 20 yrs. He is the Beloved Brother of Laura B. Loving mother of Seamus Hennessey, Lori Chandler and son in law Frank Chandler. Dear sister of Ruthy Abel and Harry "Buddy" Golden. Henry, Myra T.
Myra T. Henry, 64, of Wildwood, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2008 in Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ with her best friends by her side. Myra was born in Bronx, NY on July 31st 1944 to the late Emil and Violet Garcia. She grew up in the Bronx, but spent many summers in Wildwood babysitting for members of Steve Gibson and the Red Caps, the Platters and other popular entertainers. Myra started her employment with AT&T in 1962 as a telephone operator in New York. She relocated to Wildwood in 1972, continuing her work with Bell Telephone throughout its many name and location changes, working as both a service representative and repair service clerk until her retirement in December 2001. Myra was a wonderful Mom and friend to all who knew her, and will be forever missed but fondly remembered for her great sense of humor.
She was an independent lady who lived life on her own terms to the strains of her favorite song, "Confidential" by Sonny Knight. Myra loved listening and dancing to oldies music, antiquing for Hummel figurines, and traveling; but most of all she loved her son, Emil Joseph and his wife Michelle who now reside in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by her oldest brother Emil, a younger brother Anthony, and a younger sister Dawn, along with by many, many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call from 10:00 AM for her viewing. Interment will be private.

HENRY, ROBERT T., III, on May 4, 2009, of Medford and Ocean City, NJ. Age 56. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Cox). Loving father of Suzanne, Robert IV, and Tyler Henry. Step-son of Evelyn Mackin-Henry. Also survived by his sisters, Heather Legatz, Suzanne Frost, and Cindy Henry, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was an Investment Advisor with Smith-Barney in Philadelphia, PA. He was a very active member of the South Jersey Alzheimer's Association. In his spare time Bob loved to golf, spend time on the beach and enjoy time with his family. Born in Camden, NJ, he has lived in Medford all his life. A Plumbing Contractor he is Co-Owner of Wm. W. Henry & Son, Inc. in Medford, NJ a family owned business since 1939. Jim and his brother Mark took over the business in 1999 from their father William R. Henry. Jim is a graduate of Shawnee High School with the class of 1977, was a former member of the Taunton Fire Company and volunteered at Camp Ockanickon in Medford, NJ. RAYMOND W. HENRY, 67, of NEPTUNE, died Tuesday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a foreman at J.F. Kiely Construction Co., Long Branch, for 32 years, retiring in 1997. He was a Army veteran. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Long Branch before moving to Neptune 30 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Gimbrone Henry; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond W. II and Jennifer Henry of Prospect Park, Pa.; a brother, Donald Henry of Long Branch; and a sister, Ruth Schubring of Wall.

Devoted mother of Thomas(Colleen) Henry, Bernadette Roberts, Frances (Richard) Lewis, and Marge(Jack) Powell. Loving sister of Dolores Flannigan. Caring grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of seven. Margaret worked for AT&T for over thirty years, was a member of the St.Jude's Catholic Daughters in Blackwood, and volunteered at The National Life Center in Woodbury, NJ. LOUISE "LOTTIE" HENRY of Medford Leas, NJ, passed on to a better place on Friday, April 15th, 2005. She was 101 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Louise lived in Pennsauken, NJ with her late husband Bill and helped to run the family plumbing business, W.W. Henry & Son. In 1960 they moved to Lake Pine in Medford, where her son took over the family business. She is a Charter Member of the Lake Pine Colony Club, Founding Member of the Medford Senior Citizens and a Charter Member of the Medford Garden Club and formerly an active volunteer at the L&S Nursing Home in Atco, NJ. Louise is survived by her son William R. Henry and his wife Blance of Mt. Laurel, NJ and two Grandsons William Mark Henry of Shamong, NJ and Ted R. Henry of Medford, NJ, a Great Granddaughter Heather and a Great Grandson William (B.J.). A funeral service was held on Wednesday at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. (Rt. 541) Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600). Interment was in the Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ. The family requests memorial donations to the Easton Bible Church, 2407 Fostertown Rd.
