Stephen L. Borhi
Stephen L. Borhi, 68 of Walnutport, Pa., formerly of Raritan, NJ, died Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., Pa.
He was an Electrician for the IBEW Local 262, Somerville, NJ and worked for Johns Manville in Manville, NJ, retiring in 1993.
Born April 27, 1931 in McAdoo, Pa., he was the son of the late Stephen and Margaret Wanyo Borhi.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manville before moving to Walnutport six years ago.
He was a Private First Class in the Army, having served from 1951 to 1953. He then transferred to the Army Reserves until 1956.
He is survived by a son, Stephen J. of Walnutport; two daughters, Virginia S. Hunter of Phillipsburg and Lisa G. Gabory of Cowpen, SC; three sisters, Margaret Fegley of Danielsville, Pa, Agnes Kassick of Manville and Mary Onderko of Flemington; eight grandchildren and a grandchild.
There will be no calling hours or services. Private cremation will be held at the convenience of the family and burial of the cremated remains will be in St. Stephen's cemetery in McAdoo, Pa. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Helen Bratkovics
Helen Bratkovics, of Bethlehem Twp., Hunterdon County, NJ, died Tuesday, October 13, 1998 in her home.
She and her husband were co-owner's of the former Lou-Helen Drive-In located on Route 57 in New Village , NJ for 33 years. She also assisted her husband with the operations of his business, which was the former Bratkovics Trucking of Bloomsbury, NJ.
Born January 21, 1920 in Stuebenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Torna Janosa.
She was a former member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, both located in Bethlehem, PA.
Her husband, the late Louis Bratkovics died May 28, 1914.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel S. of Phillipsburg and Jeffrey L. of Bloomsbury and five grandchildren.
Private cremation will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Marianna Brescia
Marianna Brescia, 80, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, March 28, 1998 in her home.
She was a seamstress with the Phoenix Clothing Mills in Allentown for many years.
Born in Petrizza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Onofrio and Rosina Consentina Marascio.
She is survived by three daughters, Mariapia Gauna, with whom she lived, Lena Ubezio and Ornella Oderico, both of Milano, Italy; two brothers, Bernardo Marascio of Whittier, CA and Joseph Marascio of Easton and two grandchildren. A daughter, Lucionia and two brothers, Franko and Rocco all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Sts., Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthony's cemetery , Williams Twp.
Ames Earl Brown, Jr.
Ames Earl Brown, Jr., 80, of Moore Township, Northampton County, Pa., died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 in his home.
He was a former telephone engineer with the Springfield Telephone Company in Springfield, Pennsylvania and retired as a private contractor for Nynex in New Hampshire in 1996. He had also worked for GTE in Erie, Pennsylvania and Northlake, Illinois and the Journal of Commerce in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
Born March 26, 1922 in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ames Earl, Sr., and Edna (Cheney) Brown.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He graduated West Springfield High School, Erie County, Pa. in 1940.
He was a Private First Class in the Army Air Force during World War Two.
He was a life member of the Independent Telephone Pioneers of America, and the American Legion Post 83 Merced, California, and the PGA of America. He was also a member of the Hickory Hills Senior Citizen's in Moore Township.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, the former Helen Phillips; a son, Ames E. Brown and his wife Carla of Lima, Ohio; three daughters, Sandra Wheeler and her husband Victor of Girard, Pa., Barbara Frankfurt and her husband Mark of Leawood, Kansas and Linda Holderby and her husband Rick of Big Sandy, Texas; a step-son, Thomas Phillips and his wife Rita of Bethlehem, Pa; a step-daughter, Dawne Cicero and her husband Dominic of Forks Township, Pa.; two brothers, Philip of New Port Richey, Fla. and Glen of Sarasota, Fla; two sisters, Alice Johnson of Richmond, Indiana and Jeanette Brown of New Port Richey, Fla.; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and a step-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Sgt. Kenneth Brown died in 1944 during World War Two.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, N.J. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township, Pa.

Barry M. Brown, Sr.
Barry M. Brown, Sr., 51, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in his home.
Barry was a security guard at Ray Craft and Sons, Phillipsburg, and previously worked as a delivery man for Sherwood's in Easton.
Born August 10, 1956 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Roy J Jr., and Florence Reighn Brown.
He was an active member and volunteer of the River of Life Presbyterian
Church, Phillipsburg.
He served in the Army.
Survivors include a son, Barry M. Jr., of Albany, NY; a daughter, Dana Anne of Glen Gardner, NJ; three brothers, Kenneth S. and his wife Susan of Easton, Roy J., III and Brian K., both of Allentown; two sisters, Judy A. Lane of Allentown and Donna C. Stefano and her husband Stephen of Phillipsburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the church, 445 S Main St,

Celiann R. Brown
Celiann R. "CC" Brown, 36, of Phillipsburg, died Monday, July 7, 2008 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, following her long-fought battle with cancer.
CC formerly worked for Lifetime Doors in Forks Township, but stopped working to be a mother to her daughter, Krista when she was born in 1999.
Born July 15, 1971 in Wilson Borough, she was a daughter of Robert A. Strouse and her step-mother, Audrey; her mother, Donna M. Butler Johnson and her step-father, Jeffrey A. Johnson, all of Easton.
She was a life member of the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary Post 17, Easton.
CC and her husband, William E. Brown, celebrated their thirteenth wedding anniversary September 24th.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter, Krista, at home; a sister, BobbiJo Naylor and her husband James, of Easton; two nieces, Emmalee and Jayme Naylor and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Florence L. Brown
Florence L. Brown, 80, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, November 28, 2004 in her home.
Born February 24, 1924 in Rockaway, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Beck Reighn.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Easton.
Her husband of nearly fifty years, the late Roy J. Brown, Jr., died in July of 1992.
Florence is survived by four sons, Kenneth S. and his wife Susan of Palmer Twp., Roy J. III and Barry M., both of Phillipsburg and Brian K. and his wife Janet of Palmerton, Pa.; two daughters, Judy A. Of Allentown, Pa. and Donna C. Stefano and her husband Stephen of Phillipsburg; two brothers Charles of Nazareth and William of Williams Twp., twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren and Linda Lore, whom was special to Florence as she was her care-giver during her illness. She was pre-deceased by a brother, The Rev. Raymond K. Reighn and two sisters, Evelyn VanSyckle and Arlene Kelso.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.

Margaret A. Brown, 76, of Phillipsburg, died Friday, October 24, 1997 in Warren Hospital.
Born September 13, 1921 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Alice Ryan Bauder.
She attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Phillipsburg.
She was a member of the Andover-Kent Towers Tenant Association in Phillipsburg.
She is survived by a grandson, Robert. J. Sexton, Jr., of Easton and a sister, Ruth Steckel. A daughter, Sharon Sexton Darylmple died in 1973.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Maynard S. Brown
Maynard S. Brown, 82, of Lopatcong Twp., died Friday, February 22, 2002 in the Brakeley Park Center in Lopatcong Twp., NJ.
He was a machine operator and inspector at Ingersoll-Rand, Pump Division, for over 35 years before retiring in 1981.
Born June 26, 1919 in Hartford, Conn., he was the son of the late Arthur and Rebecca Silverman Brown.
He graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1936.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
He was a technician fourth grade in the Army and served with the 9901st Technical Service Unit. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbin and the World War Two Victory Ribbon.
He and his wife, the former Catherine E. Rossnagle observed their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary June 12, 2001.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James A. of Dublin, Ohio and Thomas M., Sr., of Lower Nazareth Twp.; two daughters, Margaret D'Alessandro of Washington Twp., Pa. and Patricia Francett of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother Mort and a sister Zelma Pugliese, both of Reading, Pa.; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A brother Charles, a sister Shirley and a grandson Thomas M., Jr., all died earlier.
Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery , Greenwich Twp., NJ. Pearley Mae Brown, 71, of Silver Springs, Maryland, formerly of New York City, NY, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Warren Hospital.
Pearley was a former nurses aide at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York.

She is survived by sons, Alvin Brown of Greensboro, NC, Roy O. and his wife Angela Roberts of Charles Town, WV, Weldon of Silver Springs, MD, John and his wife Denna of Fredericksburg, VA and Dwayne and his wife Caroline of Flagstaff, AZ; a daughter, Sandra Westbrook and her husbank Erick of Lopatcong Township; a sister, Lilly Sanders of Beaufort, SC, an uncle, James White of Dover, DE and five grandchildren.

Samantha Elizabeth Brown, stillborn daughter of Joshua Brown and Jessica Kehle of Belvidere, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 in Hackettstown Community Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Ernest F. and Catherine J. Brown of Harmony Twp.; paternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Joyce Brown and maternal grandparents, Darla Kehle and David Darois of Washington, N.J., maternal great-grandparents, Arthur and Doris Nelsen of West Virginia.

Dominick J. Bubba
Dominick J. "Mickey" Bubba, 72, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, February 1, 2004 in his home.
He was a salesman for several building supply companies, including Dries Building Supply in Macungie, Morris Black & Sons, in Allentown and Phillipsburg Supply Co.
Born November 10, 1931 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Andrew and Rose Bock Bubba.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Dominick's wife of 35 years, the former Gertrude Karte Collins-Bubba died in 1998.
Survivors include two sisters, Catherine Moran of Phillipsburg and Mary Slingland of Palmer Twp. and several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. A brother Andrew and a sister, Anna R. Ostili both died earlier.

Emil J. Buccos
Emil Joseph Buccos, 63, of Phillipsburg, died peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2006 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family who cherished him deeply.
Born September 14, 1942 in New York, N.Y., he was a son of the late Louis F. and Mari Bienvenue Buccos.
He was a former repair technician for Royal Typewriter in New York and was last employed at Home Depot in Greenwich Twp., NJ.
Emil's true passion in life was his love of the arts. He immersed himself into all forms of art from oil paintings to the abstract. He was a co-founder and member of the Riverside Festival of the Arts where he was the recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award. He was the founder of Men and Women in Plaid, which is a group of over 100 artists in the Phillipsburg-Easton area that incorporate plaid into all of their works. He was a member of both the Warren County Arts and the Arts Community of Easton.
Emil will be remembered as a gentle, humble, generous spirit; a great husband, father, brother and uncle. He was sensitive, introspective and creative. He always saw the humorous side of everything, was a voracious reader and fancied himself a philosopher of life. He and his wife Mary have lived and enjoyed their life in the Easton/Phillipsburg area for the past 16 years.
He and his wife, the former Mary W. Furze would have celebrated thirty-six years of marriage June 27th.
In addition to his wife, Emil is survived by a daughter, Carmelina E. Price of Jersey City, N.J.; two sisters, Jeanette Marvilli of Doylestown, Pa and Marie Williamson of Howard Beach, Queens, N.Y. A brother, Louis and a sister, Edna Gutierrez both died earlier.
Private cremation was held. A celebration of Emil's life will take place Sunday, July 2nd, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Quadrant Bookmart and Coffeehouse, 20 N. 3rd Street, downtown Easton, PA.
