Gifford, N. Alfred

N. Alfred Gifford, 28, of Belleplain died on Tuesday. He was born in Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point and was a lifetiime area resident. He is survived by his mother, Lois of Brooklyn, NY; his grandparents: Lennert G. Johnson of Belleplain and Grave Ostling of Brooklyn, NY and several aunts and uncles including a special aunt, Edna Penello.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call after 10 am. Interment will be in Head of the River cemetery.

GIGANTINO, Rachel. (nee Albano) On Nov. 21, 2009. Age 74. Of Marlton, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Daniel. Dear mother of Daniel Jr., Ronald, Nancy, Paul and David. Also survived by many loving grandchildren, family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sat. Giglio, Arthur Henry

Arthur Henry Giglio, age 88 of Long Branch died March 13, 2004 at home. He was one the owners of Giglio Bait and Tackle Shop, Sea Bright for 34 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Long Branch Sportsmen Club, the Sea Bright Anglers and was an avid fisherman. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident. He was predeceased by three brothers, Armand Giglio in 1975, Rudolph Giglio in 1996, and Pat Giglio in 2001. Surviving are three brothers and four sisters in law, Ernie and Jacqueline Giglio, West Long Branch, Robert and Linda Giglio, Wanamassa, Roland and Celia Giglio, Long Branch, Gladys Giglio, Long Branch.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third, Long Branch on Monday, March 15, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday March 16, at 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment will be in Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

BORN IN PHILADELPHIA, PA SHE HAD LIVED IN PHILADELPHIA, PA BEFORE MOVING TO OCEAN CITY IN 1967.

MRS. GILBERT WORKED AS A SUPERVISOR FOR BELL OF PENNSYLVANIA, IN PHILADELPHIA, PA FOR 19 YEARS BEFORE HER RETIREMENT IN1975.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF ORDER OF EASTERN STAR OCEAN CITY CHAPTER #83 , AND BELL TELEPHONE PIONEERS. SHE WAS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF UNION CHAPEL BY -THE -SEA CHURCH IN OCEAN CITY, NJ, AND ACTIVE WITH THE RED CROSS BLOOD BANK IN PHILADELPHIA, PA.

Born in Palmyra, NJ, she has resided in High Bar Harbor and Key Largo, Fl for the past 15 yrs., moving there from Cinnaminson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Carmen & Julia Rubino. A Liscensed Realtor she worked for 10 yrs. with the March Realty in Cinnaminson from 1978 - 1988. Prior to this she worked as a Secretary for the Penn. Railroad where she worked from the time she graduate High School until 1962. She is the member of the St. Francis R.C. Church in Brant Beach, NJ. The loving wife of Marcel F. Gilbert, she is devoted mother of Deborah McFadden and her husband John of Medford, NJ and Marcel F. Jr. and his wife Lorri of Medford, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Mitzi Calabrese of Medford, NJ and her three Grandchildren Jack and Matt McFadden and Julia Gilbert. On December 20, 2006. Of Marlton. Age 88. Beloved wife of Rev. James H. Gilliard for 53 years. She will be missed by her children Harriet (John) Boyle, Betty (Bill "Rocky") Mountain, and Lorrie Amato, her grandchildren Andrea, Dawn, Jason, Denyel, Alicia and Derek, her great grandchildren Bobby, Joshua, AJ, Ian, Beth, Erik, Sophia and Jacob and her great great grandchildren Kasydii, Ethan and Erik. Mrs. Gilliard was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 150 in Collingswood. She was a member of Marlton United Methodist Church, but also attended Piney Hollow UM Church and Landisville Friendship UM Church with her husband. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. There will also be a viewing 10-11am on Wednesday December 27, 2006 at Your Light on the Hill (Marlton United Methodist Church) Plymouth Dr at Marlborough Ave., Marlton, followed by a Funeral Service at the church. Gillice, Claire P.

Claire P. Gillice, 71, of Swainton, died on Saturday, September 22, 2001, at her home. Born in Philadelphia, she had lived in the area since 1970 after moving from Mt. Airy, PA to Sea Isle City.

Mrs. Gillice is survived by her husband, Frank P. Gillice, Sr.; her children, Frank P. Gillice, Jr. of Cape May Court House, Deborah Barbagallo of San Diego, CA, and Kathleen Naughton and her husband, David, of Seaville; her brothers, John Rowan, Edward Rowan, Walter Rowan, all of Philadelphia, and Robert Rowan of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sister, Eleanor Speranza of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Joseph, Bryan, Aubre Jo, and Brittani Claire; and her great granddaughter, Sydney Claire. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph, in 1990.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at 11:00 AM at the Seaville United Methodist Church, 3100 Shore Road, Seaville. Interment will be private in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Atlantic City Medical Center Hospice, 1406 Doughty Road, Pleasantville, NJ 08232 or spend the day with your mother and enjoy the moment.

Gillyard, Mary F.

Mary F. Gillyard, age 78 years, of Wildwood, NJ passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Columbia, SC to the late Burley and Lottie (nee Green) Barber, she moved to the area 55 years ago and worked as a Nurse's Aide at Crest Haven Nursing Home. She was a member and very involved at Eureka Baptist Church in Wildwood.

Mary is survived by her grandson, Michael Burke of Lindenwold, her brother Benjamin Barber and sisters; Gladys Brown, Sarah Stevenson, and Louise Williams all of Columbia, SC. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda Hardy.

Funeral services will be on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Eureka Baptist Church, 142 West Spencer Ave., Wildwood, NJ 08260 where visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Cold Spring cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd., Cold Spring, NJ.

Memorial donations may be made to the Eureka Baptist Church.

GILROY, On September 26, 2003 Barbara Ann (nee Mirra) of Ardmore. Loving sister of Carmela Muldowney of Mt Laurel and aunt of Dr. James Muldowney and his wife Nancy Jean. Great Aunt of Fiona Kennedy Muldowney. Daughter of the late Carmine and Jennie Mirra. She was employed by Main Line Telecommunications. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial 11:15am Friday at St John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Ave., Mt Laurel. The family will greet friends after the Mass.

Gilroy, Ernest W.

Ernest W. Gilroy, 90 of Westvill, New Jersey, died on Monday, October 22, 2001 at West Jersey Hospital Marlton Division, Marlton, New Jersey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (nee Amelio). Father of, Judy, Marion Massaro, Ted Massaro, Antoinette Goodrich, and the late Pat, Dick and Donny. Also survived by several grandchildren. Mr. Gilroy was a resident of Westvill, New Jersey for over 40 years. He was a life long member of local 19 sheet metal workers. He worked on many projects including the Philadelphia Civic Center and Spectrum. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 from 11 AM at the FALCO/CARUSO & LEONARD PENNSAUKEN FUNERAL HOME, 6600 N. Browning Road. Where there will be a funeral service at 12 noon. Visitation and vigil service will take place Tuesday evening, October 23, 2001 from 7-9 PM.

Giltrap Poley, Marian

Marian Giltrap Poley, 92, of Avalon, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Dalton, MA to the late Delos and Mary (Powers) Jones, she moved to Avalon full time in 1976 from Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of Maris Stella Church. She was past president of the Women's Republican Club of Avalon and was a member of the Avalon Seniors, the Avalon Garden Club, the South Jersey Hallahan High School Alumnae Association, the Stone Harbor Women's Civic Club, the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary, the Deborah Hospital Foundation, the Philopatrian Ladies, and the Rose Society. She was active in Holy Redeemer when it started. She was the first female court reporter for the Board of Revision of Taxes for the City of Philadelphia. Marian always said, "I have led a very interesting life."

Marian is survived by her two daughters, Mary Pat Junger and her husband, Frank, and Anne Christella McCune and her husband, Michael; her son, James F. Giltrap, III and his wife, Rose Marie; her four grandchildren, Jim Junger, Maria Brady (Mike), Sandi McCune, and Sean McCune (Ginny); and her great grandson, Daniel Brady. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Giltrap, Jr. in 1979.

Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Roman Catholic Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Gimbel, Robert B.

GIMBEL, ROBERT B., on June 30, 2008, of Marlton, NJ. Age 56. Beloved husband of Karen J. KuriaGimbel. Loving father of Carrie A. Dillon. Son of Johanna K. Gimbel and the late Joseph J. Gimbel. Brother of Joanne L. Kirby and her husband Frank. Robert graduated from Lenape High School in 1969 and Rutgers University in 1973. He was the Director of Production Control for SimKar Corp. in Philadelphia. Robert and Karen were members of Worldwide Marriage Encounter and past Team Leaders for the Camden Diocese Pre-Cana classes. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday July 3 from 9:15-10:45 AM at St. Mary's Church, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM. Ginyard, Henry

Henry Ginyard, 74, of Cape May Court House, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at Court House Convalescent Center. He was born in Wildwood and was a lifetime resident here. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church, where he was a deacon. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

Mr. Ginyard is survived by his sisters and brother, Margaret Ginyard of Cape May Court House, Eartha Dixson and her husband, Trim M., Jr. of Woodbine, and David Ginyard and his wife, Nancy of Cape May Court House.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Gospel Church, George and Anna Streets, Whitesboro, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to Christ Gospel Church Building Fund, 119 West Anna Street, Whitesboro, NJ 08252.

Giordano, Joseph Ralph

GIORDANO, Joseph Ralph, on September 15, 2005 of Marlton NJ, formerly of Havertown PA. Age 87. Beloved husband of 64 years of Lillian M. Giordano (nee Tecco). Loving father of Yvonne L. Smith and her husband, Joseph of Naperville IL and Joseph V. Giordano and his wife, Sharon of Marlton NJ. Dear brother of Ida Deliberato, Ann Ritter, Mary 'Sue' DellaRose and Americo Giordano, Jr. He is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, Marie, Paula, Joseph, Michael, Karen and Robert Smith and Nicholas, Jennifer, Joseph and Laura Giordano and 12 great grandchildren. Mr. Giordano was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII and a well known and extremely accomplished career violinist. He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and the founder of the University Four, the Toppers and the Hi Toppers quartets traveling and entertaining around the country. Locally, he played at Compton's Log Cabin, Collingswood and Charles Lounge, Mt. Laurel and many weddings, affairs and private parties. Mr. Giordano was a respected and inspiring music teacher for many years at the New Jersey School of Music in Medford. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Sunday from 7-9pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton and Monday from 9-9:45am at the Church of St. Isaac Jogues Evesboro-Medford and Elmwood Rds. Marlton where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Monday. Interment Sts.
