Nancy C. Gardiner, 74, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Thursday, January 20, 2005, at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ, and lived in this area since 1963. She was a beautician and was employed by Turning Heads Beauty Salon in Avalon, NJ.

She is survived by her husband of forty six years: Thomas S.; children: Lynn and husband, Flip Britton, and their children: Kane and Jessalyn of Chester Springs, PA; Lana Williams and her daughters: Nancy Hagan, Lorie Hagan, Jackie Williams; and Bobbi Jo Gardiner and her fiance, John Hartung, and her son: Shaun Strain and his fiancee: Cara Shaffer of Glenolden, PA.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ. Interment will be private. Gardner, Ruth A.

RUTH A. GARDNER (Nee Firth) of Tabernacle, NJ passed away on Sunday, June 18th, 2006 at the Care One of Evesham in Marlton, NJ. She was 62 yrs. of age. Born in Bristol, Pa, she is the daughter of the late Russell & Ruth Firth and resided in Tabernacle since 1987, moving there from Indian Mills, NJ. Ruth is Co-Owner and Office Administrator for the Tuckerton Turf Farm in Tabernacle. She has also worked as a Secretary for the Gardner Oil Co. and a clerk for the Shady Rest Liquor Store. Ruth was a former Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Ladies Aux. of the Indian Mills Fire Co. and the Indian Mills United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and VBS. She loved her family and horses. She is the Beloved wife of John Gardner and loving mother of John Jr. and his wife Shari of Indian Mills, Timothy and his wife Kris of Tabernacle and Brian and his wife Heather of Indian Mills, NJ. She is also survived by her brother Russell Firth and his Fiancé Joann Moore both of Indian Mills, NJ and her Grandchildren Brian Jr., Travis, Nicole, Emily, Jaylyn, Andrew, Jessica and Jamie. She is the Grandmother of the late John Gardner III and the sister of the late Ronald Firth. Gardner, William S.

WILLIAM S. "Bill" GARDNER passed away peacefully at his home in Indian Mills, NJ on May 1, 2009. He was 57 years old. A lifelong resident of Indian Mills, he was the son of the late Thomas K.R. and Lillian A. Gardner. A ret. Employee of the Shamong Twp. Public Works Dept. he retired in 2008. He was a member of the Indian Mills Fire Co., the NJ Forest Fire Service where he was a Forest Warden, the Shamong Emergency Management Team, the Indian Mills United Methodist Church and he was the President of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic City cemetery Association. Bill was also a graduate of Lenape High School, Class of 1970. He is the Beloved Husband of Carolyn "Star" Gardner and the Loving Father of Thomas E. Gardner and his wife Amy of Willow Grove, PA and James S. Gardner of Indian Mills, NJ. He is also survived by his brother Charles T. Gardner and his wife Dale Ann of Shamong, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Gardner, Joseph L.

JOSEPH L. GARDNER, of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20th, 2008 at the Samaritan Hospice Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 82 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Joseph & Florence Gardner. A resident of Leisuretowne, he moved there 2 yrs. ago from Vienna, MD on the Eastern Shore. A Master Dyer, he owned and operated his own business "G&G Dye in Phila, PA, until 1977 when he closed the business and went to work for Greg Block in Easton, MD. He is a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII. He is the Beloved husband of Dorothy Jean Gardner (Nee Lawney) of Leisuretowne and the Loving Father of Carol Bittner and her husband Michael of Ocean City, NJ, Susan Fehrle and her husband Garry of Phila, PA and Jack D. Gardner of Southampton, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters Florence Coe of Easton, PA and JoAnn McDermott of Hawley, PA and also 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and his Great Great Grandson. Shane C. Woods Gardner

On March 26, 2002 of Pleasantville, formerly of Woodcrest Section of Cherry Hill and East Camden. Age 47. Beloved wife of David C. Gardner.

Loving mother of Jordan T. Gardner at home. Devoted daughter of Janie Woods (nee Lynch) of Cherry Hill and the late James J. Woods. Dear sister of James J. Woods, Jr of Cherry Hill.

Shane attended St Joseph's School in East Camden, then Heritage Junior High School in Cherry Hill. She was a 1972 graduate of Cherry Hill High School, East. She attended Camden County College and received a Certificate in Law Enforcement and Administration. She later worked as a floor person at Golden Nugget/ Bally Grand in Atlantic City.

She was active in St Peter's PTA in Pleasantville.

JOAN "JOANIE" GARDNER, (nee Bird) of Medford, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8th, 2008 at the Samaritan Hospice Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 76 yrs. of age. Born in Cinnaminson, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Edward Bird and Alice Conway. A resident of Medford, she was raised in Marlton and resided in Medford Lakes for 25 yrs before moving to Medford. She is the Beloved wife of Charles W. Gardner of Medford, NJ and the Loving Mother of Gaye Dunlop and her husband Scott of Medford, NJ and Valerie Wells and her husband David Wells of Medford, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Robin Gruber of Cinnaminson, NJ, Barbara Lee of Goldsboro, MD, Judith Conway of Deptford, NJ, Constance Jackson of Scotch Plaines, NJ and her brother Edward Bird of Mt. Bill was a lifetime Soldier in the Salvation Army and a very active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he worked with the young people's choir. GERARD D. GAREAU “Jerry”, of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on August 15, 2007 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. He was 66 yrs. of age. Born in Paterson, NJ, Jerry has resided in Tabernacle for the past 31 yrs. moving here from West Milford, NJ and is the owner and operator of Sealant Technology in Vincentown, NJ. He is a former Cub Master with the Tabernacle Cub Pack and is a member of the SWRI Business Assoc. He is the Beloved husband of Patricia A. (Nee Meinking) Gareau of Tabernacle, NJ and the son of Helen (Nee Ricucci) Gareau of Randolph, NJ and the late Gerard D. Gareau. He is also survived by his children Gerard E. Gareau and his wife Danielle of Shamong, NJ, Danielle C. Gliko and her husband Ben of Pittstown, NJ and Jason M. GARGAS, George A.

On March 16, 2009. Of Carney's Point. Age 85. Husband of Lynn (nee Vogel) Father of Ernest Gargas of San Jose, CA and Alex Gargas of Bordentown. Uncle of Michael E. Gargas of Florida and Stephen Mimides of Whiting and their families. Mr. Gargas served in the Greek Underground during World War II. He spent 4 years in a concentration camp, and was slated for execution four times. He is a disabled Veteran of the US Army. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW, received an Associates Degree from San Jose State Univ., and was a Sheriff's Deputy in Essex Co. for many years. Most of his working career was spent at International Screw Machines in Newark, but he later worked for McKesson Co in Carney's Point. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday at St Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, 615 Mercer St., Cherry Hill. Interment will be private in Union, NJ.

(nee D'Angelo) On December 9, 2002 formerly of Camden, NJ; age 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late, James; Devoted Mother of Angelo Battiste, Jeanette Mitchell, Loretta Powell, Elaine Ferrari Brierly, Doris Freeman, Morris Gargiule and the late James G. and Martin; Loving Grandmother of 26 and Great grandmother of 25.

Garibaldi, Patricia Anne

Patricia Anne Garibaldi, 78, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn Mundy Conway. Mrs. Garibaldi was a retired real estate manager for the Downs Mohl and Company of Chicago, IL. She moved here in 1991 from Chicago, IL. She was a member of the Parkinson's Disease Support Group.

She is survived by two daughters: Kathryn M. Garibaldi and her husband, William C. Burkett, of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Teresa A. Seidensticker and her husband, Thomas, of Carol Stream, IL; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.

Garippo, Sylvia Laratonda

Sylvia Laratonda Garippo, age 85, of West Long Branch died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. Born in Pittsburgh, she moved to Asbury Park with her family and graduated from Asbury Park High School. Sylvia and her late husband Louis J. Garippo settled in West Long Branch to raise their family 53 years ago. She was a founding member of St Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch, where she was active in the Rosary Altar Society. Sylvia was devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband Louis J. Garippo, her parents, Michael and Nicoletta Laratonda, and her sister, Nancy Lucia.

She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Vinnie Cittadino, West Long Branch; Josephine Giglio, Richmond, VA; her children, Joanne Garippo and her husband David Adair, Salisbury, NC; Louis Garippo, Jr. and his wife Judy, West Long Branch; Michele Mullin, Eatontown; Jonathan Garippo and his wife Maggie Stone, West Long Branch; and her grandchildren, Katie Garippo, Ted Garippo, Cara Mullin, Michael Mullin, Langley Stone, Andrew Stone, and Christine Spriggs.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, from 2-4, 7-9 pm from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on the corner of Third, Long Branch. Garofalo, Richard S.

Richard S. Garofalo, age 62 of Bellmawr, died on January 25, 2002 at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ. He is survived by his dear sister, Katherine B. Allen and her husband Joseph of Pennsauken, NJ. Loving nephew, Michael Fanelli and niece, Diane Brown. Prior to retirement, Mr. Garofalo worked for the Philadelphia Inquirere as a pressman for over 25 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and also served in the Army National Guard. Garofalo, Gaetano Thomas

Gaetano Thomas Garofalo, age 80, of Wall formerly of Long Branch died Friday, January 5, 2007 at Care One at Wall. Gaetano was a factory worker for Nabisco Company, Kenilworth before retiring several years ago. During his retirement he worked in security at Monmouth racetrack. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, and served his country honorably in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of the PBOE Lodge 742 and the VFW Post 2140, both Long Branch. Born in the Bronx, he had lived in Long Branch before moving to Wall last year. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Viola Gervolino Garofalo; a sister, Anna Bruno, Queens; and many nieces, nephews, couins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, from 2-4, 7-9 pm at Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave on the corner of Third in Long Branch. Funeral Tuesday, January 9, 8:30 am from the funeral home follow by a 9:30 am Mass at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will be at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. Garoppo Morante, Anna M.

Anna M. Garoppo Morante, 86 of Franklinville died Wednesday at the Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Twp.

Anna was born in Naples, Italy. She lived in Franklinville since 1946, formerly living in Philadelphia. She had worked for 25 years at Venice Maid, Vineland, retiring in 1952. Anna owned and operated with her late husband Frank Garoppo's Service Station in Franklinville.

Beloved mother of Rose DiGregorio of Clayton, Joseph Garoppo (Olga) of Franklinville and Pat Garoppo (Joann) of Franklinville, and predeceased by Pete and Augustine (Sonny). Dear sister to Prisco Salemno, Louis Salemno and Mary Cippolone all of Philadelphia, Peter Salerno of Fort Washington and Theresa Sullivan of Lancaster, loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

GARRISON, RUTH A., on May 24, 2008, of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Cramer Hill. Age 85. Beloved wife of Pastor Joseph J. Garrison Sr. Loving mother of Sharon Christopher, Joseph J. Garrison Jr., John J. Garrison Sr., and Robin R. McNair. Also survived by her grandchildren: Heather Allison, Dr. John J. Garrison Jr., Robert S. McGeorge Jr., Joel Garrison, Elizabeth Paxton, Katye Garrison, and Laura, Ryan and Melissa McNair, and 12 great grandchildren. Ruth was an active member of the Pine Grove Chapel, along with her husband of 65 years. Garrison, Jean Ann

Garrison, Jean A., 78, of North Wildwood passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010. Born in Crestview, FL to Frank and Velma (formerly Weiss) Schissler, she moved to Stone Harbor when she was 12. Jean was the co-owner and operator of The Court Market in Cape May Court House.

Jean is survived by her husband Alvin; son Steve (Christine) Garrison of Gap, PA; daughter Lisa Ann Garrison of Key West, FL; grandchildren: Steven, Shane, McKenzie, Chase, Ally Jean, Jacob, Drew, and Mark; great grandchildren: Michael, James, Jason, and Aydan. She was pre-deceased by her son Alvin Jr. in 1996.

GARRITY, Rosemary (nee Jacobs) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Aged 73 yrs. passed away on August 24, 2001. Beloved wife of Jack. Mother of: Jack of New Mexico, Michael of Cherry Hill, William of Moorestown, NJ, Joseph of Cherry Hill, Vincent of Cherry Hill, and Mary (Patty) Capozzoli of Somerdale, NJ. Also survived by her brother, Arthur Jacobs of Roxborough, PA, and her granddaughter, Holly. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 1949. Gary, Jerome C.

Jerome C. Gary, 17, of Whitesboro, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2003, as the result of a motorcycle fatality. He was born in Cape May Court House, NJ, and has been a lifetime resident. He was a Senior at Middle Township High School. He was active in Little League, Sports, and Football. He was a member of St. Stephens Church, Whitesboro.

He is survived by his parents: Florine Gary of Whitesboro and Sidney Gary of Wildwood, NJ; two brothers: Robert McMillan of Texas and Sidney Gary of Whitesboro; sister: Kyshia Jackson of Cape May Court House; and his maternal grandmother: Clara Singletary of Whitesboro.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at 12:30 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Household of Ruth cemetery, Whitesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Sidney Gary, 2800 New Jersey Av., Wildwood, NJ 08260.
