Kim L. Beer
Kim L. Beer, 48, of Pohatcong Twp., died Friday, January 21, 2005 in her home.
She was a waitress and bartender.
Born January 20, 1957 in Morristown, N.J., she was a daughter of Blair Jerolaman of Bernardsville, N.J. and the late Kathleen Drake Jerolaman.
Kim and her husband, Jeffrey M. Beer observed their seventeenth wedding anniversary June 27th.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Christopher Jerolaman, Thomas and Daniel Beer, all at home; a brother, Kevin, three sisters, Frances Gribbon, Lisa Vaughn and Brenna Mitchell.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, is handling the arrangements.

Ferdinand S. "Fred" Behringer
Ferdinand S. "Fred" Behringer, 101, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, September 21, 2000 in Warren Hospital.
He retired as a screen printer from Winkler Textile Print Works, Inc. in Passaic, NJ. and had formerly worked for Phillipsburg Textile Print Works in Phillipsburg; Castle Creek Prints in Washington, NJ and Pocono Textile Prints in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
Born March 29, 1899 in Wuerzburg, Germany, he was the son of the late Valentin Isidor and Babetta Konrad Behringer.
He served in the German Army during World War One and came to America in 1926.
He was of the Catholic faith.
His wife, the former Maria K. Huegel died August 7, 1996.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda M. at home and Dina, wife of Heinz Emil Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany and two granddaughters, Barbara and Christine Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany, and a daughter-in-law, Sulana B. of California. A son, Frederick J. died in 1980.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Phillipsburg cemetery , Phillipsburg. There will be no calling hours. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg is in charge of arrangements.
Maria K. Behringer
Maria K. Behringer, 85, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, August 7, 1996 in Warren Hospital.
Born September 12, 1910 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef Anton and Christine Huegel.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Her and her husband, Ferdinand S., observed their sixty second (62nd) wedding anniversary last September 25.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Linda M. at home and Dina, wife of Heinz Emil Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany; two granddaughters, Barbara and Christine Gueckel of Westerburg, Germany and a daughter-in-law, Sulana B. A son Frederick J. died May 14, 1980.
Services will be private and burial will be in the Phillipsburg cemetery , Filmore St., Phillipsburg. There will be no calling hours. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.

Jessie M. Bercaw
Jessie M. Bercaw, 97, of Harmony Township, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in Warren Hospital.
Born July 17, 1909 in Mount Vernon, NY, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Teresa Palia Castiglia.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her companion, Lawrence "Hutch" R. Hamilton, with whom she lived; a daughter, Marie Jessica Strahle of Glendon, PA; two sisters, Mildred Squarcia of Easton and Fior Vernon of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Jessica Cuvo, Lester Rittenhouse and Bill Stahle; three great-grandchildren, Keith Cuvo, Selena and Jason Rittenhouse and a great-great-grandson, Derek Cuvo. Two sisters, Marie Unger and Yolanda Lawler, two brothers, Paul and Eugene and a great-granddaughter, Kim Marie Cuvo all died earlier.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Fairmount cemetery , Phillipsburg. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg.

Albert J. Berger "Mickey"
Albert J. "Mickey" Berger, 81, of Easton, died Friday, June 6, 2003 in his home.
Born April 20, 1922 in Paterson, N.J., he was a son of the late Henry J. and Miriam C. Block Berger.
He was a district supervisor for Two Guy Department Stores, covering the Northeastern states for 23 years. He last worked for various stove shops in New Jersey.
He was of the Jewish faith.
He was a Private First Class in the Army during World War Two and received the European African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Survivors include his companion of twenty-eight years, the former Carolyn LaRose; a brother Norman of Paterson; a step-daughter, Rebecca Hinnerschietz of Northampton, two step-sons, Jim Broadbent of Williams Twp., and Ralph Broadbent of Jacksonville, Fla; eight step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. A son, Michael, a brother Ted, a sister, Selma Joyce Berger and a step-daughter, Diane Wooley all died earlier.
Services will be private. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, N.J. is in charge of the arrangements.
Jean C. Berger
Jean C. Berger, 55, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, October 27, 1998 in Phillipsburg when she was struck by an automobile on Heckman Street near her home.
Born November 30, 1942 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the last Charles and Emma Vito.
She is survived by a son, Charles of Gate City, Virginia; four daughters, Donna M. Hufnagle and Stephanie Lynn Berger, both of Gate City, Virginia, Dorrie A. Scott of Phillipsburg and Kimberly Berger at home; one sister, Phyllis Statler of Palmer Twp.; a brother Butch Vito of Pennsylvania and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
Linda N. Berger
Linda N. Berger, 46, of Easton, died Thursday, June 5, 1997 in Easton Hospital.
Born July 5, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ, she was the daughter of Rose Rappa of Las Vegas, NV and Elmer Hickman. (Address Unknown)
She is survived by two sons, James McNair or Pen Argyl and Derek Berger of Easton; one daughter, Leah McNair of Seminole, Fla; one brother, Larry Rappa of Easton and a sister, Dolores Shannon of Las Vegas, NV; and one grandson.
Private cremation was held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be will be announced later.

Patricia A. "Pat" Berger
Patricia A. "Pat", Berger, 63, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the Phillipsburg Center.
Pat was a devoted certified nursing assistant at the Phillipsburg Center for ten years. She previously worked as a sewing machine operator at Quality Outfitters in Stewartsville, NJ.
Born July 20, 1944 in Riegelsville, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Alma Deemer Lippincott.
Pat enjoyed being a mall walker at the Phillipsburg Mall and spending time at her computer that she used to keep in touch friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, John L., Jr. and and his wife Kathy of Benton, TN and Brian A. and his wife Silvia of Pierre, SD; four daughters, Sarah L., Bonnie L. and Rebecca F., all of Phillipsbrug and Debbie A. Hintze and her husband David of Middleburg, Fla; two brothers, Marvin H. and his wife Janie of Sharpsville, Pa., and Michael and his wife M.J. of Blairstown, NJ; two sisters, Kathleen A. VanDoren of Phillipsburg and Carol L. Rodenbaugh of Slatington; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Private interment will be held in the Riegelsville cemetery , Riegelsville, Pa. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of services Sunday in the funeral home.

S. Samuel Bevacqua
S. Samuel Bevacqua, 79, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, September 19, 1996 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He owned and operated The Razors Edge Barbershop on South Main St., Phillipsburg. He was a barber for sixty years having worked with his father who started the business in 1906.
Born September 19, 1917 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine Messina Bevacqua.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, NJ
He was a staff seargent with Army during World War Two.
He is survived by two sons, Barry of Newtown Square, PA and Dale of Phillipsburg; a sister, Gladys Verenna of Warren Glen; four grandchildren and his companion, Genevieve Young. Three brothers, Charles, Francis and Anthony and one sister, Mary all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 am Saturday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James cemetery , Greenwich Twp.

Charles Bevington, Jr.
Charles Bevington, Jr., 84, of Knowlton Twp, N.J., died Monday, May 16, 2005 in his home.
Born July 7, 1920 in Wellsville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles, Sr. and Maude Fickes Bevington.
A graduate of Wellsville High School, Charles attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He later served in President Franklin Roosevelt's Civilian Conservation Corps in Utah and other western states.
He was a radioman, first class, with the Navy from 1942 to 1945 and was awarded the European African and Middle Eastern Ribbon with two stars, the American Theatre and Asiatic Pacific Ribbons, the Good Conduct and World War Two Victory Medals.
Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, Charles arrived in New York City and while working for Colonial Airlines met whom came to be his wife of fifty-eight years, Laura Anna Heim of Roxburg, NJ. They married
April 6, 1947 and raised their four children in River Edge, New Jersey. They later retired to their current residence at Manunkachunk-on-Delaware in 1988.
He was a member of the Belvidere American Legion Post 131.
Charles will be remembered as a devoted husband, a great father and loving grandfather, skilled woodworker, photographer, web surfer, an ardent New York Mets fan and avid reader. With his passing goes the most extensive vocabulary ever possessed outside of the dictionary.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by three sons, Glenn and his wife Donna of Belvidere, Charles and his wife Susan of Rocky Point, NY and William and his wife Elaine of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; a daughter Kathleen and her partner Margaret of Long Island City, NY; grandchildren Alec, Caslon, Lindsay, Leon and Amelia; a sister-in-law Henrietta; nephews Guy, Geoffrey, Douglas, Patrick, Bobby and nieces Lorraine and Dinah.
Charles was predeceased by a brother, Bobby, a sister Julia Belle Pollak and a grandson Todd.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Laura A. Bevington
Laura Anna Bevington, 87, of Knowlton Twp, N.J., died Wednesday, May 10, 2006.
Born September 25, 1918 in the Roxburg section of Harmony Township, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Smith Heim.
Raised on the Heim family farm in Roxburg during the depression era, Laura ventured to Easton, Pa. to work at Easton Hospital and then for Reed National Bank in Washington, DC. She later completed flight attendant training for TWA Airlines in Kansas City, Kansas and became a flight attendant for TWA in New York. While in New York, she met whom came to be her husband of fifty-eight years, the now late Charles Bevington, Jr. They married
April 6, 1947 and raised their four children in River Edge, New Jersey. They later retired to Manaunkachunk-on-Delaware in 1988, where Charles passed away on May 16, 2005.
Laura was devoted to her faith and read her bible, prayed the Rosary and offered prayers several times daily to the Virgin Mary and St. Jude. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Belvidere, N.J.
Laura will be remembered for her spirituality, empathy and compassion for others as well as her unique use of word play. She was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother, and especially enjoyed cooking, baking and canning for her family. She was a former 4-H and Webelos leader and was a steadfast Mets fan.
Laura is survived by three sons, Glenn and his wife Donna of Belvidere, Charles and his wife Susan of Rocky Point, NY and William and his wife Elaine of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; a daughter Kathleen and her partner Margaret of Long Island City, NY; a sister, Henrietta Calafiore, grandchildren Alec, Caslon, Lindsay, Leon and Amelia, nephews Guy, Geoffrey, Douglas, Patrick and Bobby and nieces Lorraine "Sug" and Dinah and many, many friends. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph and a grandson Todd.
Visitation will be held Thursday (THIS) evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. A period of prayer and reflection will be begin at 7:30 this evening. Funeral services will begin 10 a.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 327 Greenwich St., Belvidere. Interment will be in the parish cemetery , Belvidere.

Angelina Bianca
Angelina Bianca, 88 of Mount Zion, West Virginia, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, January 3, 1997 in Roane General Hospital in Spencer, West Virginia. She lived in West Virginia for the past eleven years.
She was a retired machine operator, last working for the Stern and Stern Silk Mill in Easton.
Born February 3, 1908 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Nicodemo and Maria Bisolo Pugliese.
She was a former member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg until she moved to WV, where she then attended the Barnes Run Community Church of Mt. Zion in Mt. Zion, WV.
Her husband, the late Salvatore Bianca died March 24, 1986.
She is survived by one daughter, Fay Coon of Mt. Zion, WV; three brothers, Samuel Pugliese of Wyomissing, PA and Joseph and Nicholas J., both of Easton; one sister, Victoria M. Krosincky of Phillipsburg; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. One son, Nicholas S. Bianca and two sisters, Frances Rodeo and Millie Pugliese and one brother, Anthony all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 10:15 a.m. Saturday, January 11 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated 10:45 a.m. Saturday in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery , Greenwich Twp., NJ. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
Richard W. Billman
Richard Wesley Billman, 67, of Easton, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in Wilson Boro.
He was an assembler at Kurtz Training Center, Bethlehem, Pa.
Born October 27, 1937 in Easton, Pa., he was the son of the late George V. and Silvia M. Young Billman.
He is survived by a sister, Silvia J. Shiller of Forks Twp.

John Bobinis
John "Bo" Bobinis, 71, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 in Warren Hospital.
A member of the United Steel Workers Union, Local 5503, Phillipsburg, he worked as a molder for Ingersoll-Rand Co., Foundry Division in Phillipsburg for 40 years.
Born June 2, 1933 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Bobinis.
John had a love of local sports and was a baseball coach for Steele Hill Youth Club for 35 years and Firthtown Youth Club for two years. He was a dedicated fan of all Phillipsburg High School Sports and was a longtime member of the Garnet Booster Club.
He was an Army corporal serving in the Korean War. He was awarded the United Nations and the National Defense Service Medals.
He was a member of the Y.M.I.A. in Phillipsburg and the Concordia Maennerchor of Easton.
He and his wife, the former Mary Ann Frankina observed their 48th wedding anniversary February 18th.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, John and his wife Sara of Mifflinburg, Pa., Michael and his wife Teresa of Bethlehem and Joseph and his wife Christina of Wilson Borough; four sisters, Josephine Moran of Forks Twp., Stella Miechur of Lower Nazareth Twp., Genevieve Kornfeind of Northampton, Pa. and Annie Clasen of Belvidere, NJ and three grandchildren, Michael, Elissa and McKenna.
