Fox, Dr. Eva Fernandez
Dr. Eva Fernandez Fox, 85, died peacefully in her home in Stone Harbor, NJ on July 28, 2002. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she was educated in Spain and the United States, receiving her medical degree in 1943 from Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania (now known as MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine). She practiced general medicine, taught medicine at Woman's Medical, served as Medical Director of the College, and served as the Chairman of the Department of Radiology. She and her late husband, William T. Fox, Jr., retired to Stone Harbor in 1977 after living in the Germantown section of Philadelphia for forty years. She continued her medical career in the Radiology Department at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Court House where she also was a member of the Board of Directors. She worked as well with the United States Coast Guard in Cape May, NJ, where she received the Coast Guard's highest civilian award, The Certificate of Merit, for medical services. Over her distinguished career she received a number of awards. The Eva F. Fox Award for Personal Integrity, Stability, Responsibility, and Loyalty to the Medical College is still awarded to a graduating senior at MCP. Though a pioneer in women's medicine, she did not view herself as a pioneer. She was a mother, a doctor, and a teacher.
Dr. Fox is survived by her two children, William T. Fox III and P. Sharon Donohoe, her grandson William T. Fox IV, and two great grandchildren, William T. Fox V and Carlin J. Fox.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9910 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor on Friday, August 2, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA. Foy, Henrietta D.
Henrietta D. Foy, 98, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Crest Haven Nursing Home on October 10, 2009. Born in Island Heights, NJ to the late Henry and Anne (Carson) Francis, she lived half of her life in New Jersey and half of her life in North Carolina. She was a volunteer at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, knitting bonnets for premature babies. She is survived by her daughter, Polly (Jerome) Lambe; her son, Paul B. (Lodi) Holzbaur; her brother, Frank Francis; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ward Perry and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
Frame, Charles "Chubby" G.
Charles "Chubby" G. Frame, 73, of Del Haven, NJ, died on Saturday, July 5, 2003, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was born in Delair, NJ, and lived here since 1955. He was a carpenter employed by Seashore Interiors. He was a life member of the Green Creek Fire House having served as Fire Chief; the Cape May County and NJ State Fire Chiefs Association; the Cape May County and NJ State Fireman's Association; and an honorary member of the Cape May Court House Fire Company. Chubby enjoyed working and helping others especially people who were lucky to be his neighbor by doing things for them. He enjoyed his grandchildren and watching the NASCAR races.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; children: Terry Chester of Villas, NJ, Billy and Charles G., Jr. (Chuck) both of Del Haven, NJ, and Leo S. of Villas, NJ; brothers: Clifford of Cape May, NJ, George of Del Haven, NJ, David of New Gretna, NJ, Jackie of Wildwood, NJ, William of Goshen, NJ, and Herman of Del Haven, NJ; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; aunts: June Divins of Hammonton, NJ, and Delores Benzenhafer of Audubon, NJ. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, and two sisters, Ann Matson and Diane Hess.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call Wednesday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Frame, Helen
Frame, Helen, 72, of Del Haven, died on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at her home. Born in Ocean City to the late William and Helen Haughy, she was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of St. Raymond's Church.
Mrs. Frame is survived by her children, Billy Frame of Del Haven, Charles (Chuck) G. Frame, Jr., Leo S. Frame of Villas, and Terry Chester of Villas; her brother, Howard Hemmingway; her sister, Mickey Rozar; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chubby" G. Frame on July 5, 2003.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Green Creek Methodist cemetery. FRANCIS, Charles W. "Bill"
Of Hatboro, formerly of Delaware County. Age 79. On July 13, 2007, died at home with loved ones after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Uniontown, PA, Bill served as a U.S. Marine before residing in Springfield, Delaware County for 15 years. He was a pioneering entrepreneur who owned and operated many businesses, including the Den of Antiquity shops in Lansdowne, PA and Mantua, NJ and Bill's Interboro Luncheonette in Prospect Park. Having a great passion for antiques, Bill served the Berlin Auction for 40 years. He was also a faithful employee of Winner Ford in Cherry Hill, NJ for 20 years. He enjoyed cooking, writing and poetry and loved animals and spent a great deal of time in the outdoors. He is survived by his partner, Carol Fields of Voorhees, NJ, his daughters Alice Marie Rotoli (Albert) of West Chester, PA, Cindy Palmer (Jim) of Millsboro, DE, Mares Stellfox of Swarthmore, PA and Betty Lou Norcini (Ken) of Folsom, PA, his stepsons Gino Celia of Virginia and Mark Celia of Texas, 11 grandchildren, and brothers Buck of Utah, Jack of Media, PA, and Ronny of Sharon Hill, PA and his sister Carol of Chambersburg, PA. LENA E. FRANCO (Nee Conti) went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2002. She was 81 yrs. of age. Born in Barchi, Italy she resided in Medford Lakes, NJ for the past 14 years moving there from New Haven, CT where she lived most of her life. A 1938 graduate of Commercial High School in New Haven, CT, she was an Administrator for the New Haven Food Terminal and Christoforo Brothers, Inc. both in New Haven, CT for 50 years until her retirement in 1988. She is the wife of the late Nicholas Franco, beloved mother of Patricia A. Reinke and her husband Paul of Medford, NJ, loving Grandmother of Ana Marie Williams and her husband Timothy and Diana Patterson and her husband Keith all of Medford Lakes, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Irma Morsicato of Hamden, CT and 8 Great Grandchildren. She is the sister of the late Peter Conti and the late Dominic Conti. Loving grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Harold Mease and Caroline Stump. Frank, Jr., Joseph William
Joseph William Frank, Jr., 83, of Sea Isle City, died on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph William and Ethel (Gelbach) Frank, Sr., he was a longtime summer resident of Sea Isle City before moving here permanently in 1973. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a self employed attorney in Sea Isle City. He was admitted as an attorney in Pennsylvania in 1956 and in New Jersey in 1977. Mr. Frank was a member of the Yacht Club, Commodore Club, Republican Club and Rotary Club, all of Sea Isle City, and the Cape May County Bar Association. He served as the Public Defender for Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor and Lower Township. He loved to go deep sea fishing and to travel to different places.
Mr. Frank is survived by his children, J. William Frank, III of Racine, WI, Thomas O. Frank of Columbia, MD, Lawrence J. Frank of Vienna, VA, and Jeanne M. Butt of Virginia Beach, VA; his brothers, James Frank, Robert Frank, John Frank, and Donald Frank; his sisters, Mary McCormick, Helen Dunnigan, and Ann Clancy; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be said on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City. Viewings will be held on Monday, September 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Tuesday, September 5 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Frankland, Pearson "Sut"
Pearson "Sut" Frankland, age 87, of Avalon, NJ, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ. He grew up in Philadelphia, PA, and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He served his apprenticeship at NY Shipbuilding, and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 19 in Philadelphia for 37 years. A permanent resident of Avalon for 25 years, Pearson was a member of Maris Stella Church and traveled extensively with the Avalon Seniors. He served with the Avalon Fire Police, and was a member of the American Legion Post 331.
He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Hilbert); his two daughters: Janet Hunter of Southampton and Susan Verzella of Collingswood; his son: Robert A.; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Funeral Liturgy will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Maris Stella Church, 50th Street & Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. Folen of Silverdale, WA, Barbara M. Schafish of Cherry Hill, NJ, Louisa D. Dulin of Fredericksburg, VA and Andrew D. Franks of Franklinville, NJ. Frantzman, Joyce Ann
JOYCE ANN (NICKERSON) FRANTZMAN, 65, of Green Creek, NJ, died on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the VITAS Hospice, Stratford, NJ. She was born in Audubon, NJ, and lived in Cape May County since 1971.
Joyce was a 1959 graduate of the Audubon High School. She was a retired investigator for the Cape May County Consumers' Affairs Department. She recently worked at the Ocean View Center as Hospitality Director. She was a member of Calvary Chapel, Cape May, NJ.
She is survived by her husband, Everett E.; three sons: Jeffrey McCart and wife, Tami, of Dias Creek, NJ; Brian McCart and wife, Connie, of Dennis Twp., NJ, and Richard Clark and Jamie Ronca of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; her grandchildren: Christina McCart and Christopher Oliver; Chelsie Nicholas, Jeffrey (JJ) McCart, Cody Nicholas, Kyle, Melissa and Wyatt McCart; one great-grandchild: McKenna Oliver; a nephew: Albert Frantzman, Jr.; and two nieces: Sonia Schaeberle and husband, Mike, and Mary Ellen Colvin and husband, Frank.

Frappolli, Marie P.
Marie P. Frappolli, of Avalon, NJ died on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ. Marie was born in Clifton, NJ to the late Louise & Peter Frappolli. She has been a resident of Avalon for over forty years.
Marie graduated from Columbia University in NY where she received a Masters in Education. She later worked as a Supervisor of Cottage Living at Totowa, a training school in northern New Jersey for the mentally challenged and went to Woodbridge, NJ to help open a new training school. From there, Marie went to Woodbine as an Assistant Superintendant of the Woodbine Developmental Center. Some of the many organizations of which she was a member of are; VFW of Northern New Jersey, Parlamentarian of the Garden Club of Avalon, Civic Club of Avalon, Avalon Homeowners' Association, Environmental Commission of Avalon, Wildwood Moose Club and the Avalon Republican Club.
She is survived by Dorothea G. Angelou of Avalon. Interment will be private. A memorial Mass celebrating Marie's life will be announced at a later date.

Fraunhoffer, Joseph T.
FRAUNHOFFER, Joseph T. On November 5, 2008. Of Marlton, NJ. Age 60. Loving husband of Mary Ann (nee Herron) for thirty five years. Devoted father of Ken Fraunhoffer. He will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Joseph served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army and worked at PSFS in Philadelphia for many years. MANUEL M. FRAZAO, 66, of LONG BRANCH died Sunday, Feb. 23, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. He was a mason for Jocoma Construction Co., Old Bridge, for five years. Before coming to the United States, he was a postal worker in Portugal. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, and a member of the Portuguese Club, Long Branch. Born in Hortas Barreira, Portugal, he had lived in Long Branch since 1985.
Surviving are his wife, Beatriz P. Moreira; four sons, Manuel Horacio Frazao of Portugal, Rui Frazao of West Long Branch, Victor Frazao of Long Branch, and Virgilio Frazao of West Long Branch; a daughter, Helena Frazao of Long Branch; a brother, Alvaro Frazao of Portugal; and five grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St John the Baptist Church. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.
Fream, Sarah Margaret
Sarah Margaret 'Peg' Aikens Fream age 95 of Long Branch died Dec. 2 at home.
Born in Hackensack, she had lived in Long Branch for the past 41 years.
She was a graduate of Hackensack High School and Parsons School of Design, New York, Past President of the Long Branch Women's Club, and a member of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration.
She was predeceased by her husband H. Carleton Fream in 1983 and a son David W. Fream in 1993.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law Nancy and Robert D. Hubbard, Haddonfield, a daughter in law Suzanne Fream, China, 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Barbara H. and Samuel Reynolds, Robert A. Hubbard, Tracie F. and Cary Noel, Christopher C. and Karen Fream, D. Winthrop and Natalie Fream, 4 great grandchildren, Halley Noel, Hunter Noel, Colby Fream and Blake Fream.

Julius Cain Frederick, infant, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Julius is survived by his parents Raymond and Michelle (McCloskey) Frederick, and his brother, Joshua. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. at Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery.

Evelyn Frederick, 102, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Auburndale, FL to the late Sam and Belle (Carter) McNeil, she moved here in 1991 from Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, 21st and Christian Avenue, Philadelphia, where she was a member of the choir and the Semper Fidelis Club.
She is survived by her sister, Edith Jenkins of Cape May Court House; and her niece, Yvonne Price of Whitesboro.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, East Atlantic Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Martin Soren Fredricksen, 91, of Wildwood Crest, formerly of Villas, passed away at home. He was born in Norway to the late Christian and Anna (Sorensen) Fredricksen. He moved here in January of 1996 from Brooklyn, NY. He was a printer for Wisdom Press for 50 years. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
"Uncle Martin" is survived by his nieces, Norma Marriner and her husband, Frank of Rio Grande, and Ann Ryder and her husband, Richard of Cape May Court House; his eight great nieces and nephew; and his twenty great great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be private in Rio Grande cemetery.
