Lillian M. Floyd, 83, of Cape May, NJ, died on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in this area since the mid 1960'2. She ejoyed crafts, baking, amateur photography, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries of the VFW of Philadelphia and Wilwood.

Fodera, Robert J.
Robert J. Fodera, 59, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Born in Staten Island, NY to the late Anthony and Frances (Giardino) Fodera, he moved to Cape May Court House in 1994 from New Egypt. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He served on the Town Board and as Police Commissioner in New Egypt. He enjoyed going to Resorts and the Hilton in Atlantic City.
Bob is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Robert A. Fodera of Galloway, Sherryl A. Fodera of Cape May Court House, Tiffany L. Fodera (Nicole Kotrba) of Iowa City, IA, and their mother Meridith Fodera of New Egypt; his step children, Nicholas Ratto, Gillian Ratto, and Scott Ratto, all of Wildwood Crest; his brother, John A. Fodera (Barbara) of Staten Island; and his grandchildren, Angelo Fodera and Adrianna Fodera and their mother Jennifer Keller.
Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. FOERST, Raymond died on June 12, 2005, of Moorestown NJ, formerly of Hainesport NJ. Age 88. Beloved husband of the late Wanda (nee Wolanski). Loving father of Wanda M. James "Uncle Jim" Foggia age 89 of Oceanport died Wednesday, November 19 at home. He was a florist at F.J. Foggia Florist, Inc., Oceanport, retiring in 1979. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was a life member of Amerigo Vespucci, an exempt fireman of the Port-au-Peck Chemical Hose Company, Oceanport and a veteran of World War II. He was born in Long Branch, he was a life resident of the shore area.
He is predeceased by his wife, Carmel Apicelli Foggia in 1983 and a daughter, Rosanne Foggia Williamson in 1992. He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Marianne and John Paolise of Oceanport; two sisters, Connie Strongoli of Oceanport and Catherine DeSarno of Eatontown; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas and Regina Paolise, James, Larry, Michael and Leanne Williamson.

LUCILLE T. CARBE FOGGIA, 87, of NEPTUNE, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, at home. Born in Hazelton, Pa., she had lived in Asbury Park before moving to Neptune 10 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Felix A. Foggia, in 2000; and seven sisters, Jennie Cittadino, Rose Schadler, Anna Dennis, Josephine Del Monico, Mary Carbe, Mildred Pilot, and Margaret Steffen. Surviving are two sons, Felix A. Foggia Jr. of West Long Branch, and Richard Foggia of Lakewood; a sister, Minnie Ponessa of Long Branch; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. at the corner of Third Avenue, Long Branch, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

Foley, Sr. left us on his 46th wedding anniversary on March 30, 2009, leaving behind his loving wife Joan, three daughters Robin Durling, Rhonda Kilmer (Jim), Rebecca Lawyer (Scott) and his only son Bob, Jr. (Lisa). Also survived by 11 beautiful grandchildren and 11 brothers and sisters who dearly love him. ALBERT J. FONTAINE, of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord after a long and valiant struggle on Monday, July 13, 2009. He was 83 years old. Born in NYC, NY, he has lived in Leisuretowne for the past 26 years moving there from Watchung, NJ. A graduate of Pace University, Al was a retired Accountant for Western Electric, now Alcatel-Lucent, in NYC, NY and retired in 1982 after 27 yrs. He was a Veteran of the US Army Air Force serving in WWII and is an active member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He served on the Rescue Squads in Green Brook, Watchung and Hampton Lakes and was the former treasurer for the Messiah Lutheran Church in Plainfield, NJ. He is the Beloved Husband of Eleanor S. Fontaine (Nee Swart) and is also survived by his sister-in-law Charlotte Williams, nephew Charles Williams, niece Cheryl Conner, grand niece Laura Conner and his cousins Lorraine Heston and Craig Heston. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life on Monday, July 20th at 10:00 AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1 Winchester Ct. Tabernacle, NJ. Fontanez, Cynthia K., 49, of Wildwood, formerly of Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord October 27, 2006. She loved to cook and feed anybody that was hungry; willing to open her door to anyone in need of assistance. She loved Bingo and penny parties, but what she loved most was her family.
She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Gandy. She is survived by her mother, Marion Gandy; her husband, Felix Fontanez; her children, Andrea Gandy, Jennifer Dulio, David Fontanez, Joseph Fontanez, and Rebecca Dulio; nine grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo. FORAN, Edward L. Suddenly on November 18, 2007 of Ocean City, NJ. Age 80. Loving husband of Peggy Gail (nee Newton). Devoted father of Robbin and her husband Ron Lawson of Voorhees, NJ and Suzanne and her husband Elliot Levine of Phoenixville, PA. Dear brother of Jack and his wife Dolores and Ann Fidler. Devoted grandfather of seven and great grandfather of five. Ed will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Ed was a 1955 graduate of Philadelphia College of Art majoring in advertising design. He worked in the Philadelphia area for 35 years and was an active member of the South Jersey Woodcarvers Association and the Ocean City Fine Arts League. Forbes, David R., 56, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Born in York, PA to Simon and Bertha (Collins) Forbes Jr., he worked as a Supervisor and Truck Driver for Central Transport in York. David served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion in Weigelstown, PA. He loved riding his Harley and camping at Outdoor World.
David is survived by his wife, Caryn and their children, Heather Nicoli Jennings (Manheim, PA) and Shaunn David Forbes (Forest Hill, MD); his mother Bertha; his sisters, Brenda Baker (TN), Vera Wilson (CA), Cathy Hardy (TN), Felcia Forbes (CA), Julia Heamun (OR); and grandchildren, Kaela, Cammeron, and Ryan David Jennings, and Shanntell Bucher.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church at Rt. 9 and Church Street in Cape May Court House, NJ at 2:00 p.m.

Ford, Spencer D., of Sicklerville, NJ, died tragically Sunday April 28, 2002. Age 28.
He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He has been a resident of Sicklerville the past 16 years.
He was a 1993 graduate of Edgewood High School. He was recently employed as a water tower insulator for Thermacon in Moorestown, NJ.
He is survived by his loving mother Alfreda Laurel-Ford and father Dwight Ford, his brother Christopher (Laura) and sister Alisa and his grandmother Loretta Laurel. Also surviving are his uncles Lonelle Jones, Emery Laurel and Gilbert White, his aunts Ophelia Laurel, Cynthia Butler and Larcenia White and his nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service held 10 a.m. Saturday at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown, NJ where a viewing will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday. Interment Oak Grove cemetery, Hammonton, NJ.
Formento, III, Joseph Anthony
Joseph Anthony Formento, III, 49, of South Dennis, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at home after a long illness. A lifelong resident of the region, Joseph was a master carpenter and co-owner of Treehouse, Inc., "A Carpentry Service". An excellent gourmet cook and oenophile, Joseph was active as an assistant coach in Little League and American Legion Baseball and was a regular and vociferous fan.
A loving husband, father and friend, he is survived by his beloved wife, Melinda; two sons, Adam and Lyn, his mother, Sophia Formento Lanzilotta; and sisters, Patricia Heardon and June Vassallo. He is the son of the late Joseph Formento, Jr. In addition to his many friends, he leaves behind a legacy of memories filled with laughter, love and joy. His vibrancy, larger than life presence and huge heart will be sadly missed.
A Memorial Liturgy will be said on Monday, February 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic Street and the Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House. Fornicola, Joseph Patrick
Joseph Patrick Fornicola, age 66, of Oceanport died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Joseph was a custodian for Monmouth Park Race Track, Oceanport for 35 years. He was a member of the Long Branch Pool League, an avid sportsman and a Yankees and Giants fan. He was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Long Branch, and served his country in the National Guard. Born in Long Branch, he had lived in Oceanport for the past 3 years. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph N. Fornicola in 2001.
Surviving is his mother, Lucille Fornicola, Oceanport; S sister, Joyce Carthy, Oceanport; a brother, James A. Fornicola, Long Branch; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 10 am at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. In his memory, memorial donations are requested to Deborah Hospital Foundation, Long Branch Chapter, 480 Ocean Blvd. # 7F Long Branch, NJ 07740. Fornicola, Joseph N.
JOSEPH N. FORNICOLA, 84, of OCEANPORT, died yesterdau at home. He was a tractor-trailer driver, retiring from Jersey Coast Freight Lines. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving as a bazooka marksman in the Wolf Pack Division in the European Theater. He received the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and many other distinguished medals. Born in Long Branch, he lived there before moving to Oceanport three years ago.
He was predeceased by his parents, Patsy and Mary Bofatur Fornicola; and a brother, Alfred Fornicola. Surviving are his wife, Lucille E. Moffler Fornicola; two sons, James A. Fornicola of Long Branch, and Joseph P. Fornicola of Oceanport; a daughter, Joyce L. Carthy of Oceanport; a brother, Raymond Fornicola of Long Branch; four grandchildren, Kim, James, Nadine and John; and two great-grandchildren, Damian and Dean.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements. LAWRENCE J. FORREST, of Hainesport, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. He was 78 years of age. Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Gordon & Catherine (Nee Lennon) Forrest and has resided in Hainesport, NJ for 46 yrs. A former Heavy Equipment Operator for PSE&G in Moorestown, NJ, he retired in 1992 after 36 yrs. Lawrence is a member of the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Moorestown, NJ and was a Life Member of the Hainesport Fire Company and Emergency Squad. He is the Beloved Husband of Rae (Nee Levering) Forrest and the Loving Father of Lawrence J. Forrest Jr. of Atlantic City, NJ, Joanne L. Street and her husband Donald of Hainesport, NJ, Kathy L. Albertson and her husband John of Pennsauken, NJ, Shirley A. Platt and her husband Donald of Hainesport, NJ, Sandra L. Symczyk and her husband Anthony of Hainesport, NJ, Jeffrey S. Prior to retirement, Catherine worked as a manager at Marquetands Candy Store in the Cherry Hill Mall for almost 15 years. She was a member of the 1/2 Century Jets in Pennsauken and the Pennsauken AARP.
