FERRI, LOUIS R. on October 16, 2006, of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Age 85. Beloved husband of Regina (nee Drapczuk). Loving father of Louis M. (Linda) and Loretta Anthony (Emidio). Grandfather of Louis J. and Felicia D. Ferri, and Emidio N. and Michel L. Anthony. Great Grandfather of Joelle L. Ferri. Brother of Ernest Ferri. Predeceased by his brother Albert. Also survived by his sister-in-law Laura Drapczuk and brother and sister-in-law Dino and Katherine Torto, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ferri was a Veteran of the US ARMY, who served his country during WWII. He was a member of the US Air Force Band. Louis worked 25 years for Campbell's Soup in Camden. Lou was a very special man for all season. Warm and sensitive like the summer, gentle and caring as the Spring. Flexible as the Autumn and strong like the Winter. He was a member/Past President of the Delaware Valley Musicians Club, an accomplished trombonist, and his skilled carpentry work was appreciated by his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and Pop, whose devotion to his family came above all else. There will never be another Lou. Ferrugia, Connie "Gram"
Connie "Gram" Ferrugia, of Long Branch, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 1, 2006. She lived 83 happy years and enjoyed frequent jaunts to Atlantic City. She was a secretary for Walker and Walker Realtors, Shrewsbury for 30 years and was a communicant of the Church of the Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Monmouth Beach.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Ferrugia; her two daughters, Barbara Schwarz and Diane Ferrugia and three brothers.
Surviving is her son-in-law, George Schwarz, with whom she lived. She was the loving grandmother of Justin and Shane Schwarz, the apples of her eye.
She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, especially the Case family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 3 from 7 to 9 PM at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday August 5 at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass at the Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach at 9:30. Her family has requested that donations in her memory be sent to the Spina Bifida Assoc. at SBATSR, 84 Park Avenue, Flemington, NJ 08822.
Ferrugiaro, Barbara Hettrich
Barbara Hettrich Ferrugiaro age 86 of Oakhurst died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She and her husband were the owners of Johnny's Candy Store, North Long Branch for 40 years. She had a love for boating.
Born in Hempstead, she had lived in Long Branch before retiring to Surry, Maine, where she lived for 10 years. She returned to New Jersey, living in Oakhurst for the past 10 years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John D. Ferrugiaro, Sr.; a son and daughter in law, John, Jr. and Karen Ferrugiaro of Oceanport; a daughter and son in law, Patricia and Ed Scerbo of Bricktown; five grandchildren, Anthony, John, III, Justin, Jamie and Michael; three great grandchildren; and her loving and faithful dog, "Buster".
Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 9-10 am at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third) in Long Branch with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
Ferry, Margaret
Margaret Ferry (nee Millar), age 71, of Cape May, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2008 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she has lived here for the last six years coming from Waretown & Philadelphia. She retired in 1989 from Nabisco Foods as a Book Keeper.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, John J. "Jack"; her six children: Diane (Robert) Ross, Janet (Victor) Benvenuto, Robert (Dana) Pancoast, II, Richard Ferry, John (Joanne) Ferry, and Dottiejean (Jerry) Graves; nineteen grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Kline.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2008, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 289 - 92nd Sreet, Stone Harbor, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville, PA. BENJAMIN J. FIEDLER went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21st, 2005 after a short illness. He was 89 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, he resided in Southampton for the past 22 yrs. moving there from Collingswood, NJ where he lived for over 40 yrs. A retired employee of Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ he was with the company for 37 yrs. until his retirement in 1983. He was an active member of the Red Lion Faith Chapel and a Veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. He is the beloved husband of 62 yrs. of Ann E. (Nee Shallcross) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Dorothy M. Field, 97, of Cape May Court House, died on Friday, February 7, 2003 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wildwood, and was a lifetime area resident.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, where her grandfather was the first pastor of the Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Countiss of Cape May Court House, and Nancy Richardson of Virginia Beach, VA; three sons, Robert Field of Norfolk, VA, Ken Field of Somers Point, and William Field of Beesley's Point; a brother, Furman Craner of Cape May Court House; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Memorials may be made to the South Seaville Methodist Church, South Seaville, NJ 08246.

Betty M. Fields, 80, of North Cape May, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home. Born in Scranton, PA to the late Russell and Dorothy (Thompson) Finn, she had lived here for five years after living in Ocean City.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her son, Mark Fields of Sarasota, FL; her daughters, Vicki Arrowsmith of Vero Beach, FL, and Cheryl Tooman of California; her sister, Doris Lutz of Scranton, PA; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Collis Fields, Jr., 57, of Absecon, died on Friday, November 17, 2006. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he has lived in Absecon for one year after living in Atlantic City previously. He worked at the Budget Inn in Absecon. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Fields is survived by his wife, Regina A. Williams-Fields; his mother, Willie Mae Haliburton and her husband, William of Whitesboro; his father, Collis Fields, Sr.; his brothers, Benny Fields of Philadelphia, Thomas Fields of Whitesboro, and William Haliburton, Jr. of Kentucky; and his sister, Veronica Broughton of Whitesboro. Filachek, Joseph A.
Joseph A. Filachek, 55, of Woodbine, died on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at Atlantic City Medical Center - Mainland Division. He was born in Somers Point and was a lifetime resident here. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Casimir's Church, the American Legion of Stone Harbor, and the VFW Post 6257 Belleplain. He was involved with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed hunting, baseball and playing the accordion.
He is survived by his wife, Edie of Cape May Court House; his sons, Joseph of Ardmore, PA, and Michael of Cape May Court House; his sisters, Dorothy Spaulding of Cape May Court House, Katherine Filachek of Dayton, OH, and Jean Johnson of Petersburg; several nieces and nephews; and one great niece.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Casimir's Church.

Devoted father of Raymond and his wife Patricia, Randal and his wife Lisa, Sandra Filippone, Kathleen Filippone, Robin Wahl and her husband William, Jr. and Regina Wilson and her husband Brad. Loving grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 1. Dr. Filippone had a private practice in Marlton from 1962-1998. He graduated from South Philadelphia High School, LaSalle Univ., Georgetown Univ., Philadelphia School of Pharmacy and Kansas Univ. Medical School. He served his internship at Greencross Hospital in Akron, OH. Dr. Filippone had a passion for practicing medicine and loved his patients. He also served in the United States Army. Dr. Filippone was the school Doctor for St. Joan of Arc and the Medical Doctor for the Evesham Twp Police. He was an avid boater and yacht captain, loved riding horses with his children on his horse farm, gardening and especially spending time with this family. Fink, Dorothy Mae
Dorothy Mae (nee Redden) Fink, 86, of Rio Grande, formerly of Stone Harbor, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Born in Philadelphia on June 26, 1922, she and her husband moved to Stone Harbor in 1947. She was church secretary of Our Saviour Lutheran Church for many years, retired bookkeeper from Stone Harbor Lumber Company and retired from Seashore Home Supply. She was active in the American Legion, Stone Harbor PTA, County PTA president, and the church choir. She was an avid crafter and at the ripe age of 86 was still actively doing cross-stitch for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her caregiver/best friend Helen N. Fink, her daughter and son in law Barbara and Charles Tapply, son Fred Fink and daughter in law Barb of Maryland, son Robert of Lindenwold, and son Walter of Downingtown, PA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; her sisters Lois Pio of Vineland, Arlene Boyd of Millville and Iva Dreyer of Vineland; brother in law Richard Fink; sister in law Mildred Fink; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Dot will miss her dearly as she was a very special person. She was predeceased by husband, Frederick A. Fink, Sr.; her parents William John Redden and Alice May Williamson; and brothers William John Redden, Jr. and John Brantley Redden.
Viewings will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 4 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House with her funeral service beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 4. (Michele) Finlayson, Cristin (Colin) Padgett Ryan, Colin Padgett and James Finlayson. Great grandmother of Caroline and Emily Ryan. Mrs. Finlayson attended the University of Pennsylvania after graduating from the lower Merion High School, was a founding member and treasurer of the Merchantville Recreation Commission when the community center was purchased, member of the Merchantville Women's Club, Haddon Fortnightly Women's Club and the former Vice President of the Merchantville Board of Education. FINNEGAN, Richard A. on October 19, 2006, of Marlton. Age 58. Beloved husband of Cathie Finnegan (nee Tilton). Loving father of Michael, Terrence and the late Matthew Finnegan. Dear son of Elizabeth and the late Richard Finnegan and dear brother of Kathleen Davidowski, Gina Kropp and Beth Wetzell. He is also survived by several other loving family members and friends. Mr. Finnegan was a 1966 graduate of Northeast Catholic H.S. and a 1970 graduate of Temple Univ. where he received his MBA in 1977. He was employed for United Parcel Service until 1974. He then became employed for the US Postal Service where he held many positions including Quality Control Supervisor, Manager of Production Control, Industrial Engineer and Postal Executive. Most recently, Richard was Postmaster of Marlton NJ and an active team member for the Special Projects Group based in Pittsburgh PA.
