Fellenbaum, Walter G.
Walter G. Fellenbaum, of Seaville, New Jersey, formerly of Avalon, stepped into the light of his Lord on Sunday, September 27th.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Gallagher), two sons, Paul and Mark, three daughters, Jean, Cate and Teri, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers, Charles and Carter Fellenbaum and sisters Alice Hunder, Ruth Grosse, and Nancy Hood.
He was a wonderful friend to many people who felt privileged to call him friend.
Walter served his country in the Navy during the Korean conflict were he was honorably discharged.
Walter was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and former owner of Gallagher's Liquor Store and Gallagher's Pub (Jack's Place) in Avalon. He was also an owner/partner of Candlelight and Caviar.
He was the honorary "President" of the Marmora WaWa Family Fraternity, a group of special friends who met daily :0).
Walter was a sparkle of happiness to all he came in contact with throughout his lifetime and will be deeply missed by many. He was truly a kind and generous man.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 12 o'clock noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 803 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, New Jersey where friends may come to express their condolences to the family and celebrate his life.
Walter had a very special relationship with the Missionaries in his Church and personally requested that at the time of his death, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mormon Missionary Fund, c/0 President Michael W. Cottle, 711 Lumina Road, South Jordan, Utah 84095.
A special Missionary Reunion and Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 2nd where former Missionaries of the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will gather to honor and celebrate the life of their friend.
The family would like to thank all those who offered prayers and visits when Walter was so ill this past winter. Their many kindnesses were much appreciated.

On October 31, 2004 of Voorhees, NJ formerly of Barrington, NJ age 85 Yrs. Beloved wife of the late John, Sr. Devoted mother of Robert Felloney and his wife Lisa and John, Felloney, Jr. Loving Grandmother of Donna, Brian, Blaine, Bryce, and Allison. Great Grandmother of Elizabeth and Samuel. Mrs. Felloney was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church for over 47 yrs. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Felloney worked as an Administrative Assistant for Edmund's Optics in Barrington, NJ. Fennel, Marie L.
Marie L. Fennel, 96, of Swainton, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late John and Florence Jenkins. The family moved to Philadelphia, PA when Marie was a young child. Since 1960 Marie has been a resident of Cape May Court House.
She was a Graduate of the Philadelphia School of Nursing, Apex Beauty Culture School and was co-owner of a Grocery Store in Philadelphia.
Marie was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cape May Court House. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie (Sonny) Fennel, son, James Shird and daughter, Mary Lawson.
She is survived by her grandson, Cary Lawson, Jr., his wife, Lisa, their children, Cary III and Celena. She is also survived by a special cousin Hattie Brooks and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, East Atlantic Avenue, Cape May Court House, New Jersey, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private in the John Wesley United Methodist cemetery, Swainton.
Fenstemaker, Franklin C.
Franklin C. Fenstemaker, 82, of South Dennis, passed away on April 3, 2004 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland. Born in North Wildwood on April 3, 1922 to the late Franklin Charles and Sarah (Holmes) Fenstemaker, Sr., he was a lifetime resident of Cape May County. He worked for the Pennsylvania-Reading Railroad. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He collected and restored antique cars.
Mr. Fenstemaker is survived by his son, James Fenstemaker; and his granddaughter, Anne Fenstemaker. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kelly Fenstemaker. Funeral services and burial are private at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a veterans charity.

FERGUSON, Donald L. Age 79 of Atco, NJ, died at his daughters home on January 18, 2002. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Devoted father of Charlotte Leber and her husband Ernie, and Harley ('Skip') and his wife Diane. Loving grandfather of: Jeff, Lisa, Steve, Donald, and Liz. Proud great grandfather of Peyton and Steven. Also survived by long time companion Dorothy Kramer of Atco, many brothers/sisters - in-law, nieces and nephews. Mr. Ferguson was a Veteran of WWII. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. FERGUSON, Virginia M. (nee McNamara) on July 19, 2003 of Marlton. Age 75. Beloved wife of Donald A. Ferguson. Fernandez, Reverend Monsignor Manuel
Reverend Monsignor Manuel Fernandez, 71, founding pastor of Saint John the Baptist RC Church, Long Branch, died Tuesday August 1 in Orense, Spain.
Monsignor Fernandez was born in the City of Orense in Spain on April 23, 1935.
He was ordained a priest on December 19, 1959. In 1971 Monsignor Fernandez founded the parish of Saint John the Baptist and continued as its pastor until 1998. With much sacrifice and love he built little by little the community of Saint John the Baptist. We all know that to build a parish is not easy; especially when there are no funds. The only richness was the work, dedication and the group of brothers and sisters working together little by little to construct what the parish of Saint John's enjoys and has today. In 1998 Monsignor Fernandez was elevated to Prelate and assigned as Rector at the Cathedral of Saint Mary in Trenton, a post he held until his retirement in 2002. He retired to his home in Spain where he lived until his death.
There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated on Tuesday, August 8, at 7:30 PM at Saint John the Baptist RC Church, Morris Avenue, Long Branch, in English, Portugues, Espanol,
Ferragano, Carmen "Minnie"
Carmen "Minnie" Ferragano of Long Branch, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Monmouth Medical Center.Born in Manhattan, Mrs. Ferragano moved to Staten Island in 1926 and relocated to New Jersey in 2000.
Mrs. Ferragano, nee Schibello, graduated from Curtis High School in 1937. She and her husband William owned and operated "Willie's Grocery" in Stapleton, Staten Island for over 40 years. On February 23rd, she and her husband celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary.
Mrs. Ferragano is survived by her husband William and her daughters Carmen and Dolores, her sister Linda Venditti and many nieces and nephews. Internment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport, NJ. There will be a Memorial Mass for friends on March 24th at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Church Amboy Road, Staten Island.
Ferragine, Rocco E.
Rocco E. Ferragine, age 77 of Long Branch died Monday, July 18, 2005 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. He worked in the printing department at Fort Monmouth for 20 years retiring in 1972. He was a mutual clerk for at Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport for 40 years; a member of the Fort Monmouth Officers Club and Sun Eagles Golf Course; and was inducted into the Long Branch High School Hall of Fame for football in 1989. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident.
He was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Ferragine Gizzi in 1980.
Surviving is a nephew John Gizzi of Oceanport; 2 nieces, Stephanie Mace of Bloomingdale and Suzanne McConaghy of Oceanport; a great nephew, Patrick McConaghy and a great niece Margaret McConaghy.
Visitation will be at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third Ave., Long Branch on Thursday, July 21, 2005 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Friday, at 9 am from the funeral home with the service to begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. Ferrante, Rocco M.
Rocco M. Ferrante, age 83 of West Caldwell, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at West Caldwell Care Center. He was a clerk at Jersey Central Railroad in Newark for 40 years, before retiring 20 years ago. Rocco was a parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. Born in Long Branch he lived in Flemington before moving to West Caldwell 10 years ago. Rocco was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne Johnson Ferrante in August of this year; and a sister, Rose Ferrante in 1996.
Surviving is a daughter and son in law, Mary Ann and Ray Merrell of West Caldwell; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jillian; three sisters and two brothers in law, Ann Ferrante of Long Branch; Angela and Rudy Primavera of Long Branch; and Fortunate and Don Squillante of Shrewsbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third) in Long Branch. A funeral service will be on Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home with a service to begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Magdalen's cemetery, Flemington. Ferreira, Delia Villafane
DELIA VILLAFANE FERREIRA, 74, of MONMOUTH BEACH, died Wednesday, April 30, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was the owner/operator of La Sabrosita Restaurant, Perth Amboy, for 30 years, retiring in 1986. She was a strong and proud woman. She loved her husband and her family. Her heart guided their hearts through thick and thin and will always be their guiding force. The lessons that she taught her family will live on. "We love you and will miss you dearly." Born in Humaco, Puerto Rico, she had lived in New York before moving to Monmouth Beach in 1965.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Ralph Ferreira; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Nick and Sandra Ferreira of Monmouth Beach, and Rick Ferreira of Brick; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Irma Villafane of Newburgh, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Nicole, Cyndi, Stephine, Shawn and Wesley; and two great-grandchildren, Hailee and Grant.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. The funeral will be 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by an entombment service at 10:30 a.m. in the Holmdel Mausoleum.
Ferreira, Rafael "Ralph"
Rafael "Ralph" Ferreira, age 79 of Monmouth Beach died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Specialty Hospital at Monmouth, Long Branch. He was the proprietor of La Sabrosita Restaurant, Perth Amboy from 1968 to 1987. He served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marines. Born in Manhattan, NY he lived in the Bronx before moving to Monmouth Beach 42 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Delia Ferreira in 2003. Surviving are two sons and a daughter in law, Nick and Sandra Ferreira of Monmouth Beach, Rick Ferreira of Florida; a sister, Irma Villafane of Windsor, NY; five grandchildren, Nicole, Cindy, Wesley, Stephanie and Shawn; and three great grandchildren, Hailee, Grant and Cemahni. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third), Long Branch. The funeral will be on Friday, June 15, 10:00 am at the funeral home with a service to begin at 10:45 am. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel.
Ferreira, Dulcinea Cruz
Dulcinea Cruz Ferreira, age 63, of Eatontown died Wednesday, July 14, at home. Born in Cantanhede, Portugal, she came to the United States in 1973 living in Long Branch before moving to Eatontown 27 years ago.
She started as a sewing machine operator for approximately 10 yrs. She then became a housekeeper and took care of elderly helping with their daily tasks. The last few years she spent taking care of her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of the Portuguese Lions Club of Union. She was predeceased by her father, Manuel Pereira. Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Antonio Ferreira; one son, Mark Ferreira of Eatontown; two daughters and two sons in law, Dulce and Robert Hoplock of Tinton Falls and Paula and Patrick Trush of Phoenix, AZ; her mother, Maria Augusta Pereira of Portugal; two brothers ; two sisters and three grandchildren.

On May 9, 2008. Of Southampton. Age 82. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Bowers). Father of Wayne, Jr. (Yvonne G.), Howard (Dyan), and the late Deborah. Grandfather of Darion, Lance and Tara. ERNEST J. FERRI, of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 86 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, he resided in Leisuretowne for the past 7 years moving there from Ventnor, NJ. A retired employee of the US Treasury Dept. he retired in 1981 after 30 yrs. of service. He is a graduate of Temple University in Phila., PA and was a Veterans of the US Army serving during WWII and receiving 2 Purple Hearts. He is the Beloved Husband of 60 yrs. of Catherine L. (Nee Lobascio) of Leisuretowne and the Loving Father of Joseph Ferri and his wife Lori of Southampton, NJ, Kathleen Lydon of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, and Cindy Kraly and her husband Charles of Mays Landing, NJ.
