On May 13, 2002 of Voorhees, NJ Age 52. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (nee Klaus) Devoted father of Mark and Lisa both of Voorhees.

Dear son of Myrtle Emmett (nee McNalley) of Marlton, NJ and the late Wilbur Emmett. Dear brother of William Emmett of Denver, CO. Mr. Emmett was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and was a 1967 graduate of Baldwin Whitehall High School. He graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan and was employed by Valero Oil Co. in Paulsboro, NJ. He was formerly President of Downs Farm Swim Club in Cherry Hill, NJ Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Friday and 9:30 to 10:30am on Saturday at Hope United Methodist Church, 700 Cooper Rd, Voorhees. Memorial Service immediately following at the church. Interment private.

Emrick, Gene

Gene Emrick, 79, of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2002. He was born Oliver Eugene on July 30, 1922 in Warrensburg, IL to the late Peter I. and Ethel Fulk Emrick. He moved to Woodbine 48 years ago.

He enjoyed his animals, especially his horses, and pitching horseshoes; he was the King for many years of competitions.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Foor and her husband, Donald of Taylorville, IL; David E. Emrick of Herrick, IL; Donald W. Emrick and his wife, Patricia of Fairfield, FL; and Doris Jean Cox and her husband, James N. of Dennisville; his sister, Dolores Curry of Warrensburg, IL; his brother in law, Kenneth Unland of Decatur, IL; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Saduk Emrick on December 5, 1999 and his sister, Doris Eileen Unland.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 12 noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Nicholas cemetery, Woodbine. Memorial donations may be made to the Belleplain Rescue Squad.

Emswiler, Francis G.

Francis G. Emswiler, 77, of York, died at 7:45 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2001, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Hester M. (Laughman) Emswiler.

The family will have a private remembrance service. Burial will be private.

Mr. Emswiler was born August 23, 1924, in York, PA. He was the son of the late Russel G. and Ellie R. (Adams) Emswiler.

Mr. Emswiler retired from Harley-Davidson, Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Cassel-Conewago Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and the Salvation Army.

Mr. Emswiler is also survived by three sons, Andrew Emswiler of Dallastown, Eugene Zeigler of Manchester and David Emswiler of Dallastown; three daughters, Shirley Strine of York, Sharon Becker of Dover and Theresa Smith of York; fourteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York, PA 17401.

Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Endlein, Carl A.

ENDLEIN, on September 9, 2002, CARL A. of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Pocomoke, MD. Age 73. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (nee Rockell). Loving father of Kathy Redden of Pocomoke, MD and Eric K. Endlein of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Predeceased by his sons, John 'Fritz' and Kurt. Grandfather of John Kurt, Erica, Morgan and Willis. Carl is also survived by his sisters, Mary Harrison of Adamstown, MD, Louisa Talley of Alloway, NJ and Helen Abrahms of Westmont, NJ. Mr. Endlein was a veteran of the US ARMY and was a member of the American Legion Post 150 in Mt. Ephraim, NJ. He also played semi-pro baseball in the 1940's in the Camden and Atlantic County Leagues. He nickname was 'Lefty'. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. ENGLE, Susan D.

On January 14, 2010, Susan D. Engle, age 64, of Marlton, NJ, left to be with her beloved parents Anthony and Joshana (Wilson) DeChurch and her dear sister Denise Ann. She is the loving mother of John Anthony Engle (Gail) and Anna "Annie" McPherson (Gary) and devoted grandmother of Emma Rose, Owen Patrick and John Edward "Jack". Susan was a 1964 graduate of Lenape High School, and a 1968 graduate of Glassboro State College. A retired teacher from Tabernacle Township Schools, she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, NJREA, NJEA and BEA. Friends are invited to greet the family 6-8:30pm Tuesday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Funeral Service 8:30pm at the Funeral Home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, Virtua Hospital in Marlton or the Evesham Emergency Squad.

Engle, Ruth A.

RUTH A. ENGLE (Nee Gauntt) of Medford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 30th, 2008 at the Medford Leas. She was 83 yrs. of age. Born in Cherry Hill, NJ, she has resided in Medford for the past 8 yrs. moving there from Marlton & Southampton, NJ. A former Real Estate Agent she worked with Briarwood Realty in Medford, NJ for 10 yrs. Prior to this she worked for Hoopes & Alloway in Southampton and also as a Sales Person for Robinson Oldsmobile in Mt. Holly, NJ. She is the wife of the late Clarence J. Engle Jr. "Jack" and the Loving Mother of Maj. John J. Engle, and his wife Nancy of Shiloh, NC, Mary Alice Worrell and her husband George of Tabernacle, NJ, Virginia E. Engle of Lumberton, NJ and Jane E. Rickard and her husband John of Southampton, NJ and former mother-in-law of Sue D. Engle. She is also survived by her sisters Virginia Jones-Darlington and Vivian Hart both of Medford, NJ, her Grandchildren John A. Engle & Gail, Annie McPherson & Gary, Jehu Worrell, Wendy Devine & Jim, Lyn Farrell & Jim, and also Mary Beth, Sarah and Katie Rickard, and her Great Grandchildren Jack and Adam Farrell, Emma and Owen McPherson and Jack Engle. English, Shawn Daniel

English, Shawn Daniel was suddenly taken from us on May 24, 2009. Age 19. Beloved son of Dan and Cindy English. Loving brother of Eric and Courtney English. Dear grandson of Edward and Glenna Bates and William and Joan English. He is survived by his beloved aunts and uncles, Tom and Eileen Bates and William and Theresa English and his cousins, Tommy, Jason, William and Sophie Bates and Stephanie and Kristen English. Also survived by his dear godmother, Maureen Nolan, many loving extended family members, his great friends Matt, Zach, Craig, Jon and Kyle as well as the love of his life, Kelsey and numerous other friends. Shawn was a 2008 graduate of Cherokee High School and had just completed his first year at Burlington County College. He enjoyed playing sports especially basketball within Marlton Rec Council. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 6-9pm and Friday 9-10am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday. Interment will be private. English, Elisa

Memorial services for Elisa English, graduate of Middle Township High School Class of 1989, will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's AME Church, 2002 Route 9 South, Whitesboro.

English, Jr., Edward Earl

Edward E. English, Jr. age 61 of Long Branch died Friday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

He was a civil employee at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown

Born in St Louis, Missouri, he had lived in Neptune before coming to Long Branch 11 years ago.

He was a US Army Veteran, member of the D.A.V. Post 29, Ft Monmouth and V.F.W. Post 2140, Long Branch.

Predeceased by his wife Rosaland Rosenberg English in 2001.

Surviving are 3 sons, Edward Earl English, III, Colorado Springs, Scott Marshall English, Colorado Springs and David G. English, Wrightstown, four sisters and four grandchildren.

A graveside services will be held on Monday December 23, 1 pm at Cedar Park cemetery, Paramus. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

English,D.O., Lewis E.

Dr. Lewis E. English, age 96, of Avalon, NJ, died on June 26, 2006. He was born in Media, Pa. the son of the late Lewis E. and Ellen Robert Shaw English. He was a resident here since 1979 coming from Chester, Pa. where he had a private medical practice. He was the director of Medical Services for the Chester Upland School District from 1953 to 1979. He was a 1928 graduate of Media High School; a 1932 graduate of Lafayette College and a 1938 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathy. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Chester, Pa. and St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Stone Harbor, NJ. He was a member of the Avalon Yacht Club and a life member of Optimist International.

He is survived by his son: Arthur B. and his wife, Judy of Florida; two grandchildren: Laura B. Hutterer and Andrew B. English; and a great grandson, Zachary Hutterer. He is also survived by his companion, Mary Conwell of Stone Harbor, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 95th and 3rd Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 95th & 3rd Av., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247 or the Crozier-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Blvd., Upland, Pa. 19013.

Engwall, Daisy Lee

Daisy Lee Engwall, 92, of Cape May Court House, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at the Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia.

Mrs. Engwall was born in Gauley Bridge, WV, and lived in Philadelphia before moving to this area in 1954. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Dennis Township and the Avalon Elementary Schools. She was the founder of the Avalon School Library. She was a graduate of the New Rivert State College (Charleston U.), Charleston, WV. She was one of the oldest living members of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House. She enjoyed reading and playing scrabble usually having the highest score.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of NJ Chapter #156 of Cape May; the Five Point Club of Avalon; Retired Educators Association of Cape May County; Joy Club of Wildwood Crest Methodist Church; the AARP-NRTA Division; and the Gauley Bridge Historical Museum of Gauley Bridge, WV.

She is survived by three daughters: Gerry Erichson of Cape May Court House, Anita Elsworth of Charleston, WV, and Debbie and her husband, Tom, of Cape May Court House; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held on Saturday, November 9, 2002, with Rev. H. Raymond Hughes officiating. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church or First United Methodist Church, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Ennis, Leonard M.

Leonard M. Ennis, 63, of Belleplain, died on Friday, August 24, 2001, at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived here for 45 years after moving from Philadelphia. He was a truck driver for Dennis Township Public Works. He was a member of the NRA and AARP.

Mr. Ennis is survived by his wife, Jeanette; his children, Thomas Smith of Mays Landing, Elizabeth Mumford of Tuckahoe, Wanda Revak of Woodbine, Andrea Sudyam of Pennsylvania, and Kimberly Ennis of Rio Grande; his brother, William Ennis of Belleplain; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; and three sons.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2001, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call on Tuesday, August 28, 2001, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Interment will be in Head of the River cemetery.

Entwistle, Eleanor L.

ELEANOR L. ENTWISTLE, (Nee Ludwigsen), of Moorestown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 23, 2009. She was 90 years of age. Born in Haddonfield, NJ, she is the daughter of the late James & Margaret Ludwigsen and formerly resided in Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ. She is the wife of the late James A. Entwistle Jr. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws James D. & Wendy Entwistle of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, W. Jeffrey & Kathy Entwistle of Mt. Laurel, NJ, John H. & Lorrie Entwistle of Riverside, NJ, her daughters Virginia E. Stevens of Asheville, NC, Joyce M. Fox of Southampton, NJ, and her daughters and son-in-laws Sharon J. & Joe Schneider of Chester, NJ and Peggy E. & Marvin Newell of Elgin, IL. She is also survived by her brother & sister-in-law Jim and Joan Ludwigsen of Cape May, NJ, her sister Ethel Clevenger of Moorestown, NJ and also 20 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday 11:00 - 12:00 Noon at the Easton Bible Church, 2407 Fostertown Rd., Hainesport, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12:00 Noon. ERB, Erich

On December 31, 2001, of Marlton. Age 76. Beloved husband of Veronica (nee Bischeltsrieder). Dear brother of Paula Brosi of Spring Hill, FL, Susanne Merkh of Medford Lakes, and Karl Erb of Germany. Mr. Erb was a machinist for H-E Tool Co in Maple Shade before retiring in 1988.

He was a member of the Marlton Senior Citizen Club, the Jersey Skiters, and the 70 Plus Ski Club in Connecticut.

Erdman, Michael Charles

ERDMAN, MICHAEL CHARLES, AGE 50, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Saturday, October 14, 2006. He was born in Delaware County, Pa. the son of the late Thomas and Theresa Dougherty Erdman. He was a chef at Little Italy in Wildwood. Michael went to West Catholic and graduated from Darby-Colwyn High School. He acquired the nickname "Killer" because he was afflicted with polio and after years of bone-correcting surgeries, he managed to play football (with a walking cast) all through school and even had a paper route. He received a medical discharge from the US Army. He didn't think his bout with polio should stop hiim from serving his country. He was involved in dart, shuffle board and softball leagues as he was quite a sports buff being that the Vikings was his favorite team. He was loved by everyone who knew him as he always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He loved to dance but; the most important part of his life was his son, Ben. In additon to Ben, he is survived by his siblings: Paul and Cathy Gabriel Erdman; David and Linda Kenney Erdman; Suzanne and Richard Ford; Loretta Erdman, Matthew Erdman and his sister in law, Linda Jamison Erdman; thirteen nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Jude. The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, October 20, 2006, at 11 am. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and E. Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ where relatives and friends may call 10 am. Interment is in Seaside cemetery.

Erehart, Vincenza Mistretta

Vincenza Mistretta Erehart, age79, of Eatontown died Wednesday, June 11, at King Manor Care Center, Neptune. Born in Jamesburg, she lived in Long Branch before moving to Eatontown in 1987. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Eatontown. She was a home health aid for Family and Children's Services for 10 years before retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of the Eatontown Seniors and the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2313 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Howard Erehart of Neptune; five daughters, Margaret Yunker and Linda Schweitzer, both of Long Branch, Bernice Erehart of Eatontown, Carol Ann Bliss of PA and Marie Erehart of New Hampshire; three brothers, Guy Mistretta of Eatontown, Peter Mistretta of Oceanport and John Mistretta of West Long Branch; one sister, Marie Hollywood of GA; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin ave's., Long Branch on Sunday, June 15 from 1-5 pm. Funeral Monday, 9:00 am from the funeral home with a 10:00 am service at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 14 Reynolds Drive. Eatontown. Interment will follow at Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch. Ms. Erehart was a breast cancer survivor and the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Institute, 3191A Airport Loop Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
