Elias, Edwin C.
Edwin C. Elias, 76, of Cape May Court House, died on Wednesday, October 09, 2002 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. He was born in Philadelphia and moved here in 1976. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the F.O.P. He was a policeman for the City of Philadelphia and a court officer for the Cape May County Court System. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, participating in the Invasion of Normandy.
Mr. Elias is survived by his wife, Rose T. Elias; his sons, Michael A. Elias and his wife, Margaret J. of Del Haven, and Peter Eminson and his wife, Joyce Simpkins of Woodbine; his daughter, Gloria Jean Ricchini and her husband, Joseph of Havertown, PA; his brother, John Henry Elias of Glassboro; his sisters, Mary Garner of Blackwood, Florence Taylor of Glassboro, and Elsie Adams of Blackwood; his sister in law and brother in law, Anna and Augustine Cuozzo; his seven grandchildren, Anthony Elias, Annmarie Elias, Joseph Ricchini, Denise Ricchini, Danielle Ricchini, Chelsea Elias, and Michael Elias; and his three great grandchildren, Mikala Elias, Rose Elias, and Robert Elias. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony V. Elias.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House.

On June 5, 2003, of Stratford, NJ. Age 67. Beloved husband of Elizabeth E. (nee Worthington) Loving father of Dr. Eugene A. Eline, Jr. (and his wife Dr. Mary Jo Eline) of Beaufort, SC, and Dr. Elizabeth R. Eline of Seguin, TX. Devoted grandfather of Eugene A. Eline, III, Lauren D. Eline, Charles E. Eline and Alex E. Hager. Also 3 brothers Albert Eline, Sr. of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Leonard Eline of Phila., Joseph Eline and a sister Rita Mae Amarosa both of Ridley Park, PA and the late Richard Eline. Mr. Eline owned and operated Mohan Hardware in Marlton from 1967-1994. He later worked at Atlas Wallpaper and Paints in Marlton. He was a member of the Marlton Rotary, the Stratford Jaycees and the Spina Bifida Association. Elio, Elizabeth
ELIZABETH ELIO, 79, of LONG BRANCH, died Saturday, April 26, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Manhattan, she lived in Wood Haven, N.Y., before coming to Long Branch 10 years ago.
Surviving are three sons, George Ebert of Long Branch, Robert Elio of Baldwin, N.Y., and Robert McCarthy of Union; and a daughter, Katherine Elio of Brooklyn.
Funeral services are private. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of the arrangements.
Ellinger, William A.
WILLIAM A. ELLINGER, of Voorhees, NJ. Age 80. Mr. Ellinger was born in Pittsburgh. His college education was interrupted by WWII. Bill served in the Army in the Phillipines and Japan as a battery commander in the Field Artillery, 24th Division. After the war, and graduation from Duquesne University, he worked for American Cash Register before founding All-Pak Inc. in Pittsburgh. He was a charter member and president of Wildwood Gold Club and Stone Lodge Inc. William sold his interest in All-Pak Inc. and became a stock broker with the firm Singer, Deane and Scribner, which merged to become Butcher and Singer. He became branch manager of Pittsburgh office. In 1976, Ellinger became Director of Marketing for the Oil and Gas Division of Butcher and Singer and transferred to the home office in Phila., PA in 1980. He retired in 1988 as a First Vice President. Ellinger was a member of St. Thomas More, Cherry Hill, NJ where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was also a volunteer at West Jersey Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. An accomplished woodworker, carver, and model builder; he built furniture, turned bowls, carved birds and built models of famous ships. He will be missed by his wife, Lynn and two sons- Richard of Los Altos Hills, CA, and Mark of Chester Springs, PA and daughter- Peggie Rainbow of Annapolis, MD - seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Viewing will be on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Ellington, Alvin L.
Alvin Ellington, age 68, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, June 1, 2007, at the ACMC City Division, Atlantic City, NJ. He was born December 20, 1938, in Maples, NC, the son of the late Henry and Erma Horton Ellington. "Bubble" as he was affectionately known by his family and close friends, grew up in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, called Crisfield. He left Crisfield and came to New Jersey at an early age. He met and married
Mildred Price and she preceded him in death.
He was employed by the Borough of Stone Harbor, NJ for thirty five years, and after his retirement in January, 2004, he continued to work part time for Henny's Restaurant in Stone Harbor and also performed occasional landscaping.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memory two sisters: Emily Taylor or Crisfield, MD and Frances (Roy)Shelton of Princess Anne, MD; one brother, Phillip (Dorothy) Ellington of Temple Hills, MD; a special friend, Yvonne Price of Whitesboro, NJ; three godchildren: Darnell McNeil, Robin Fields and Lawrence Fields of Cape May Court House, NJ; an aunt and uncle, William and Hattie Horton of Edenton, NC; and a host of other special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mount Olive cemetery, Swainton, NJ.
Elliott, Marion
Marion Elliott, 83, of Cape May Court House, died on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Royal Suites in Galloway Township. She was born in Millville, the daughter of the late William Patrick and Emma Jones Garrison, and was a lifetime county resident. She and her late husband, Marvin owned and operated Elliott Farms and Produce Stand.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Ludlam and husband, William of Cape May Court House, and her son, Michael C. and wife, Laurie of Goshen; a sister, Dorothy Layton of Dias Creek; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. and a daughter, Carole J. Hughes.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Goshen Methodist cemetery. Elliott, Lewis Taylor
Lewis Taylor Elliott, 73, of Town Bank, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 after a courageous battle against brain cancer.
Lewis was a contractor all of his life. He was a graduate of Middle Township schools. He served at Suffolk County Air Force Base from 1952 to 1955. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1054 and the VFW. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and was on several leagues for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Armbruster) Elliott, son, Jim Elliott, and brother, Marvin Elliott. Surviving are his children, Barbara Paynter and husband, Ken of Del Haven, Mark Elliott and wife, Lori of Goshen; step children, John Armbruster and wife, Cathy of Erma, Jean Marie Hagerty and husband, Sean of Town Bank, Barbara James of Dennisville, Margaret Hosford of North Wildwood; his brother, Gene Elliott and wife, Barbara of Dennisville; his uncle, George Sensor Taylor of Erma; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Lewis will be greatly missed by all who know him.

ELLIS, CLAIRE M. (nee Moore) of Marlton Lakes, Evesham Township passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 after a long illness. Age 78. A native of Trenton and Ewing, NJ. She lived in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Long Island, NY and Evesham, NJ subsequent to her marriage. She was an elected committee-woman and member of the Board of Elections in Mt. Laurel. An active member of The Red Lion and Tuesday-night Woman's Groups of Medford. She spoke to many groups in the area. She is survived by her husband Warren, three sons, Richard, Robert and David, six grandchildren, and her brother, John E. HAROLD L. ELLIS passed away on Monday, June 9, 2003 at the Ashton Woods Home in Atlanta, GA. He was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Lumberton, NJ, he is a life long resident of Medford. He was a Carpenter and worked with his son at the Ellis Construction Co. in Tabernacle, NJ and was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and a former member of the Medford VFW Post 7677. Ellis of Medford and Albert G. Ellis of Chamblee, GA, his two sisters Esther Thomas of Salisbury, SC and Ruth Dunn of Indianapolis, IN and also 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. ELLS, on November 16, 2001, Jennie F. (nee Rapp) of Marlton, formerly of Pennsauken. Age 91. She is the beloved wife of the late Anthony L. Ells. She is survived by her brother in law, William McNaul of Marlton, and her nieces and nephews, William I. McNaul, Debora J. Kritz, & Dorothy Lingle, all of Marlton and Richard Eustace of Maple Shade. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She is the aunt of the late Joan L. Eustace. Mrs. Ells was a retired Supervisor of Receiving for Sears and Roebuck in Camden NJ from the opening in 1927 until the closing in 1972. She was employed with the Moorestown Sears and Roebuck from 1972-1975, where she cut the ribbon at its opening in 1972. She was an active member of the Sears Retirement Club and a lifelong active member of Pennsauken United Methodist Church. Ells, Samuel George
Samuel George Ells, 82, of Stone Harbor, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 14, 2001. He was born in Philadelphia and lived here for the past twenty nine years. He was a member of St. Paul's Church in Stone Harbor. He was retired from the U.S. Government as a supervisor of the tool and die department. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and attained the rank of First Sergeant. He was a member of the Frankford Arsenal Apprenticeship Association, the Knights of Columbus of Philadelphia, and the American Legion Posts of Philadelphia and Stone Harbor. He attended St. Bartholomew's Church on Harbison Avenue.
Mr. Ells is survived by his wife, Gertrude Teresa Sweeney Ells; his three sons, George and his wife, Joan, John and his wife, Jaycne, and Albert and his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Mary Levitsky and her husband, Dimitry; his brother, Albert and his wife, Vickie; his two sisters, Elizabeth Meehan and her husband, Gene, and Louise Eells; his six grandchildren, Sean Ells, Jonna Rodowski, Michael Levitsky, Elizabeth Levitsky, Samantha Ells, and Katy Ells; and his great grandson, Ryan Ells.

ELSKAMP, Lorraine R. (nee Di Fabio), suddenly on September 13, 2008, of Marlton NJ, formerly of Cherry Hill NJ. Age 79. Beloved wife of the late Jack Elskamp, Jr. Loving mother of John & Wendy, Chuck & Linda and Lynne & Ray Keller. Dear sister of Marie DelVacchio, Robert Di Fabio and the late Dorothy Schneider. Beloved grandmother of Randy, Nicole (fiancé Scott), Michael, Charles, Vincent, Nicholas and Alexis and a great granddaughter, Dyllan. Mrs. Elskamp was a volunteer with the West Jersey Women's Auxiliary and for the past 10 years volunteered at Virtua Hospital, Marlton. She was an avid bridge player and a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Elsworth, Edna W.
Edna W. Elsworth, age 99 years, formerly of Avalon, died on Friday, February 8, 2008 at her home at The Shores of Wesley Manor, Ocean City. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late J. Bayard Watson and Margaret A. (nee Clyde).
She had Summered in Avalon, NJ since 1950 coming from Yeadon, PA, before moving here permanently in 1972. She was an Elementary School Teacher with Philadelphia School District #1, a member of First Methodist Church of Avalon, the Five Point Club of Avalon, was Past President for the Order of Eastern Star - Wildwood Chapter, member of Mizpath Court of Amaranth and the National Retired Teachers Association, Daughters of Nile Allah Court, was a volunteer at Shriners Hospital, a member of the AARP of Sea Isle City, the Avalon Womens Civic Club, the Sea Isle City Civic Club and the Avalon Seniors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alan in 1978 and son Alan C. in 2003. She is survived by her two sons; Richard W. (Laura) Elsworth of Reynoldsburg, OH & Frederic P. (Joan) Elsworth of Northfield, her daughter-in-law Lenore Elsworth, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
Memorial Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Central United Methodist Church, Central Ave. & Shore Road, Linwood. There is no calling time. Emerick, Jeanne Marie
EMERICK, Jeanne Marie (nee Walker), 80, died at her home in New Jersey on September 18, 2003, losing a long fight to cancer. Jeanne was born on December 28, 1922 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to the late Harry Malcolm and Kathryn Westover Walker. Her husband, Bernard Matthew Emerick and brothers Harry Malcolm and Gilbert Edward, preceded her in death. Jeanne was raised and lived most of her life in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married
Bernard Matthew Emerick on February 10, 1945 and had three children: Alice Christine, Bernard Matthew "Butch" Jr. and June. Jeanne was retired from Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. She was a long time member of St. Therese's Church. After retiring she lived with her daughter June in Texas and Maryland and her daughter Alice in New Jersey. Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory, Alice Devine (Joseph), Bernard Emerick, Jr. (Pauline), June Emery (Cary); four grandchildren, Sean Christopher Emery, Brendan James Devine, Dane Matthew Emery and David Matthew Kiawan Emerick; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. John Joseph Emmel, 73, formerly of Avalon Manor, died on Thursday at his home in Fairhope, AL. Born in New York, he has lived in Fairhope for the last 3 years, coming from Avalon Manor. He was a Pipefitter and retired from United Assoc. of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #322 after 20 years of service in 1992. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict, 42 year member of the Coast Guard Auxilliary, and member of Maris Stella Church, Avalon, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine B. Emmel; sons: John F. "Jack" (Trish), Joseph "Joe" (Eun Young), and Rick (Angie); daughters: Donna (Dymtro) Wac, Carol (Ed) Monaghan, and Saron (Brad) Clark; 16 grandchildren: Eddie, Sharon (Joe), Mandy, Michelle, John A., Kerry, Kirk, Rachel, Kara, Gina, Sloan, Ricky, Becky, Maddie, Justin, and Zain; and great grandchildren: Cliffy and Liam.
