DeSantis, Dr. Mary Ann T.

Dr. Mary Ann T. DeSantis, 68, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Americus A. and Mary (McCann) DeSantis. She had been a longtime resident of Wildwood, NJ, and a former member and choir director at St. Ann's R.C. Church. She was formerly employed by the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in various administrative positions including Director of Nursing and recently retired from the At Home Health, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. She was raised in the Corpus Christi R.C. Parish in North Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from the John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls H.S. in 1955, she taught elementary school for the Philadelphia Archdiocese and attended St. Joseph's College. She began her career in nursing after graduation from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Trenton, NJ. She practiced and taught nursing in PA and NJ, including many years as the Director of the LPN program in Cape May County. She received her doctorate in Hospital Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and an Administrator's license in NJ and PA. Mary Ann had an infectious smile and laugh. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister and grandmother as she loved life and her presence will be missed.

She is survived by a son, Christopher P. and his wife, Christine, of Cape May Court House, NJ; two brothers: John Francis of Milwaukee, WI and Francis A. "Bud" of Myrtle Beach, SC; and four grandchildren: Matthew R., Michael C., Daniel J., and Olivia R.

The viewing will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007, at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House, NJ from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.

DeSarno, Patsy

Patsy DeSarno, age 88 of Eatontown, died Monday, May 10 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a self employed painter. He was a member of the Oceanport Senior Citizens. Born in Asbury Park he was a life resident of the shore area. Surviving is his wife, Catherine Foggia DeSarno; a brother, Sam DeSarno of Belmar and a sister, Carmella Romano of Staten Island. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue (corner of Third) Long Branch, on Thursday, May 13 from 7-8 pm with a service to begin at 8:00 pm.

Deschenes, Richard Dana

DESCHENES, RICHARD "DANA" on July 24, 2006 of Marlton, formerly of Turnersville. Age 61. Beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Jaffe) Fredrichs-Deschenes. Loving son of Richard Deschenes and the late Olive. Devoted father of Jason Deschenes & Stacie Deschenes and stepfather of Jason Fredrichs & Lea Fredrichs. Cherished grandfather of Natalie. Dear brother of David Deschenes, Karen Hallinan & Maryellen Comeau. Also survived by loving nieces & nephews. Dana was owner of TST Inc. since 1994 selling environmentally safe pressroom chemistry. He enjoyed fishing and sports and was an avid Red Sox and Eagles fan. He was also a United States Marine. Desenberg, Viola B.

YORK Viola B. (Rearrick) Desenberg, 73, of York, died Monday, September 3, 2001, at York Hospital. She was the wife of James L. Desenberg.

There will be a private family viewing followed by cremation at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Desenberg was born July 7, 1928, in Union County, PA. She was the daughter of the late Vernis G. and Sarah C. (Zearfoss) Rearrick.

Mrs. Desenberg is also survived by a son, Earl Staler of Scranton, PA; a daughter, Kathy Staler of California; two grandchildren; a stepmother, Pauline Hendricks of Mifflin, PA; and nieces and nephews.

DeSevo, Katherine Orlacchio

Katherine Orlacchio DeSevo, age 89 of Red Bank died peacefully, Wednesday October 4, 2006 at St. Barnabas Hospice Care Center, Long Branch surrounded by her loving family. Katherine was born in Brooklyn. At an early age, she moved to Jersey City, then Colts Neck and Monmouth Beach. Her remaining years were spent at Gateway care Center and we sincerely thank the staff for their years of loving care. Katherine was a very kind and loving person who was loved by all who knew her. Her greatest enjoyment in life was entertaining, cooking, sewing and loving each and every member of her family. She was a very unselfish person and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew DeSevo in 1988, a grandson, Daniel DeSevo in 2000, her parents, Adam and Edith Orlacchio, a sister, Marie Cunningham and a brother, Anthony Orlacchio.

Surviving is her son and daughter in law, Frank X. and Michele DeSevo, of Red Bank; 2 grandsons, Robert and Michael; 2 sisters, Juliette Page, Long Branch and Gloria Brucker, West Long Branch; a brother, Dr William Orlacchio, Middletown, 2 sisters in law, Anita Orlacchio Middletown, and Rita Orlacchio, Fords; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and loving friends.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch on Sunday, October 8, from 3-7 pm. The Funeral will be on Monday at 9 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am from St Dorothea's R.C. Church, Eatontown. DeSevo, Mary

Mary DeSevo age 100 of Long Branch died Sunday March 2, at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch.

Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Long Branch since 1976.

A parishioner of St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End Long Branch.

She was a volunteer at Jersey City Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center.

Predeceased by her brothers, Dr Frank X. DeSevo, Alphonse DeSevo, Esq., Alexander DeSevo, Esq., Dr Anthony DeSevo, Edward DeSevo, Esq., Matthew DeSevo, and Dr Gerard DeSevo.

Surviving are 11 nieces and nephews.

On October 4, 2009. Of Egg Harbor, formerly of Marlton. Age 83. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Grillo). Loving father of Anthony DeSimone (Carrie) and Roseann Easterbrooks (Ret. Commander James). Devoted grandfather of Elizabeth Ann and Paul. Dear brother of Caroline Darpino and Norma Geary. Mr. DeSimone was a veteran of the Navy and a retired Stonemason and Bricklayer, working with Union Local 6 for over 50 years. DeSimone, Mary Louise

DeSimone, on March 4, 2002, Mary Louise of Medford, NJ formerly of Cherry Hill, born and raised in Philadelphia. Devoted wife of the late Anthony J. DeSimone. She is survived by her loving son, Michael A. DeSimone and daughter-in-law Susan Hughes, MD of Medford, and her granddaughter, Lauren. Mrs. DeSimone was the president of The Links Golf Club, Kings Grant, Marlton, and the Chairperson of DeSimone Cadillac of Mt. Laurel and DeSimone BMW of Marlton. She was an avid golfer, active pilot, and a rated helicopter pilot. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday evening from 6 - 9pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. DeStefano, Margaret Capizzi

Margaret Capizzi DeStefano, age 92, of Long Branch, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at home. Margaret was a seamstress before retiring several years ago. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch; a member of the Long Branch Seniors and an avid Yankee fan. Born in Stockton, she had lived in Long Branch since 1948. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo DeStefano in 1983.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Michael and Renee DeStefano, Long Branch; 2 daughters and a son in law, Diane and William Harrigan, Long Branch; Kathy De Stefano, Phillipsburg; and 7 grandchildren, Scott and Kelly Harrigan; Kristin and John Miller; and Robert, Mark and Andrew DeStefano

Teresa A. DeTora (nee Martinelli) of Collingswood, NJ age 74 years, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at West Jersey Hospital Marlton Division, Marlton, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ, Mrs DeTora was a lifelong resident of Collingswood, NJ.

She is survived by her husband, William A; four sons, William V., Mark A., Timothy and Greg; two sisters, Loretta Klemowitz and Rita Costantino; one brother, Mario Martinelli; also 5 grandchildren, Tara, Jason, Timothy, Jillian and Nicholas.

Deveney, Shawn Patrick

DEVENEY, SHAWN PATRICK, passed away September 3, 2004 at home with his loving wife, Robin (nee Powals) by his side. He was born in Atlantic City on January 26, 1979. He was a 1998 graduate of Atlantic City High School where he was a proud member of the 1996 Henley Crew Boat. He won numerous awards in both crew and basketball during his time in high school, including leading his basketball team to the State Championship Finals. Shawn married the "love of his life" Robin on July 3, 2003. They resided together in Marlton with their cute pug, Oliver. Shawn had a rewarding career as a member of the IBEW Local 351. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and racing cars with his brothers.

He is survived by his wife Robin, his mother Suzanne, his brother, Chick, George, Tim and Patrick and his sisters, Cheryl and Suzanne, as well as 12 nieces & nephews.

DEVENNEY, suddenly on August 22, 2002, Dean Y. of Marlton, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 24. Beloved son of his father, William D. and his wife, Bernice A. Devenney of Marlton and his mother, Dianne L. Devenney (nee Vogel) and Dennis Lore Jr. of Lindenwold. Loving brother of Sheri M. Devenney of Marlton. He is survived by his grandmother, Dorothy J. Dean was a pitcher and 3rd baseman for Marlton Rec and Cherokee High School baseball teams and a tight end for Cherokee High School football team. He was a 1997 graduate of Cherokee High School and attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick NJ majoring in Landscape Architecture. He was co-owner, with his father, of Classic Lawn & Landscape of Marlton and Medford and was a member of many landscaping associations such as, NJLCA, NJNLA and SIMA. DEVENNEY, Dorothy J. (nee Yaroch) on December 13, 2009, of Marlton, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late O. William Devenney. Loving mother of William Devenney and his wife, Bernice and Doris Coshland and her husband, Alan. Dear grandmother of Kelly Davis, Stephanie Williams, Lee Anne Stoud, Sheri Devenney Williams and the late Dean Devenney and 8 great grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Kyle, Aydan, Chase, Maddox, Makynna and Liam. Mrs. Devenney was the owner and operator of Doris Day School of Cherry Hill for over 40 years. DeVico, Betty

Betty DeVico, age 81, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born in Vineland, NJ, the daughter of the late Loren and E. Blanch Jardine Riggins, Sr. She was a resident of Middle Township since 1950. She was a graduate of the Vineland High School. She was a retired member of Board Of Directors of the Riggins Oil Company. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church here; was active in the Wildwood Area Community Affairs; was an active bowler having played on championship teams and enjoyed doing "Fashion Shows" for the Democratic Organization.

She is survived by her husband and former Mayor Of Middle Township, Samuel S.; two daughters: Janet Pagnam and Karen Smith; a brother: Loren S. Riggins, Jr. of Ocean City, NJ; her grandchildren: Corrine, Adam and Colin Smith; Brian Seabrook (Rebecca); Tamara Aprill (Aaron) and Carl Seabrook (Mary Beth); and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. On September 3, 2007. Of Wildwood. Age 70. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Dear brother of James (Chris) Devine of Southport, NC and Joseph (Carol) Devine of Medford Lakes. Son of the late John and Frances Devine. Mr. Devine was a Veteran of the Air Force and formerly worked for IBM in Phila. Devine, Joseph Vincent

DEVINE, JOSEPH VINCENT, on October 19, 2006, of Medford Lakes, NJ. Age 63. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Emerick). Devoted father of Brendan Devine and his wife Whitney and Kerry Ann Devine. Prior to retirement, Joe was employed as a Management Analyst for the Defense Industrial Supply Center in Philadelphia, PA for 32 years. Joe was also a Black Lion in the United States Army, a Veteran of the Vietnam War and a recipient of 3 Purple Hearts. Joe's friends were his life interests. DeVito, Virginia Matarazzo

Virginia Matarazzo DeVito, age 88 of Wanamassa, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at home. She was a retired seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Asbury Park. Born in Italy, she had lived in Elberon before moving to Wanamassa 27 years ago. Surviving are 2 sons and 2 daughters in law, Ronald S. and Sharon DeVito, Toms River; Dario and Maria DeVito, West Long Branch; a daughter and son in law, Rita L. and Daniel Cervo, Wanamassa; 4 grandchildren, Cristina, Gina, Marisa, and Danny.

Visitation will be at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third, Long Branch on Wednesday April 27, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Thursday, at 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Entombment will be at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. REGINA H. DEVLIN (Nee Zawadska) went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2005, at her home in the Lake Pine section of Medford, NJ. She was 82 years of age. Born in Phila., PA, she has resided in Medford for the past 48 yrs. A retired Employment Interviewer for the PA State Bureau of Employment she worked for the State for 30 yrs. She is the Beloved wife of Francis S. Devlin Sr. of Medford, NJ and the loving mother of Patricia D. Briere of Marlton, NJ, Christine C. Howarth and her husband Thomas of Medford, NJ and Francis S. Devlin and his wife Theresa of Medford, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 Grandchildren Michelle Snyder, Thomas Howarth III, Stephen Howarth, Christine Endres, Francis Devlin III and Caitlin Devlin and her 6 Great Grandchildren. Devlin Sr., Francis S.

FRANCIS S. DEVLIN SR., of Medford, NJ went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2007. He was 86 yrs. Born in Phila., PA, he has resided in the Lake Pine Section of Medford for the past 50 yrs. moving there from Phila., PA. A Ret. Phila. Police Officer and one of Rizzo's Raiders, he retired in 1971 after 27½ years of service. Francis went on to work for the City of Phila. as a Bldg. Inspector for several years. He was a former Professional Boxer with a perfect 16-0 record and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is the husband of the late Regina H. Devlin and is the Beloved Father of Patricia D. Briere of Marlton, NJ, Christine C. Howarth and her husband Thomas of Medford, NJ and Francis S. Devlin Jr. and his wife Theresa of Medford, NJ. DEWAR, William

On May 22, 2002 of Haddonfield since 1979, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 80. Beloved husband of the late Georgina Y. (nee Osborne) Loving father of Barbara J. Yuhaze of Riverside, Anne M. Hare of Marlton Lakes and Lois R. McFadden of Marlton. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.

In 1982 Mr. Dewar founded Dewar Holland Industrial Distributors, involved in sales of Industrial Coatings and Equipment. He retired in 1987. He had formerly worked for East Coast Distributors and Rulon Co.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Monday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. There will be a Service at 2pm on Tuesday at Brigadier General Doyle Veterans Cem., Arneytown, NJ

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Haddon Heights Baptist Church Missions Fund, 3rd and Station Aves., Haddon Heights, NJ 08035
